Kentucky State Sovereignty Resolution Press Conference
7pm: Place- We will be at The Thomas and King Leadership and Conference Center which is located in the athletic complex at Georgetown College, adjacent to the football field. The address is 100 Crawford Drive, Georgetown, KY.
The press conference event is brought to by the Kentucky 9/12 Project and will feature speaker Kentucky House of Representative Stan Lee. This will be a must hear announcement in regards to Kentucky’s drive toward State Sovereignty.
November 10th is the anniversary of the first ever State Sovereignty Resolution and was penned by Thomas Jefferson and passed the Kentucky House on this date in 1798. We will use this historic date in our states past and the history of the state sovereignty rights enumerated by the tenth amendment to make this special announcement and bring public attention to the need for new reaffirmation of the powers of the state.
Although such resolutions by themselves would not solve the problem of a federal government which dominates and bankrupts the states by ignoring the Constitution’s provisions, these Tenth Amendment resolutions can serve as steppingstones to further state and federal legislation to restore the proper balance of power between the states and the federal government. Kentucky needs to once again be one of the first to pass this or a similar resolution. We need to show that citizens of this common wealth bow to no one, including the federal government.

The First Coast Tea Party’s Dartmouth will participate in the Jacksonville Veteran’s Day Parade on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Eleven local veterans will ride the Dartmouth in the Parade that begins at the Prime Osborn Convention Center and winds its way down to the Stadium. Volunteers will walk along the Dartmouth, carrying signs with the names and pictures of fallen Florida soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. A wreath will be carried on the front of the Dartmouth and at the end of the parade; volunteers of First Coast Tea Party will lay the wreath at the Memorial wall in recognition of our fallen heroes — 201 as of Monday November 9th.
“First Coast Tea Party appreciates our troops, veterans, and those that have made the ultimate sacrifice so that we may keep our way of life and our freedoms,” said co-founder Carole McManus. “We want to honor them by participating in the parade and by laying a wreath at the Memorial wall.”
“The Dartmouth is the First Coast Tea Party’s mascot and recognized nationally by Tea Party members as a symbol of this grassroots movement,” said co-founder Billie Tucker.

Grassroots America: We the People to host Tyler rally for the Tea Party Patriots’ Farmer Relief & Freedom Relay
What: A caravan of farmers, Tea Party speakers, and conservative activists are crossing the United States to call attention to the federal government’s environmental policies, which are violating private property rights of the Central Valley farmers, destroying farms, and causing 40% unemployment in surrounding farming communities.
Why: This is a Nationwide Call to Action to focus attention on how environmental policies and court rulings have devastated California’s Central Valley farms and surrounding communities.
In 2009, the protection of a shiny bait fish in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta has cost California’s Central Valley farm economy more than 35,285 jobs; $1.6 billion in revenue, and a 40-percent unemployment rate in towns surrounded by parched fields.
Only an act of Congress before the end of 2009 can suspend the Endangered Species Act in the Delta and open up water supplies for the 2010 growing season.
When: Friday, November 13 @ 1 PM
Where: Lakeview Church of the Nazarene, 10818 University Boulevard (Spur 248), two miles from Loop 323 intersection.
