Be a Watchdog
Beck: The question I am asked more than anything else — well, other than, “when the studio lights get really hot, do you actually sweat gravy?” And by the way, the answer is yes — that’s why I always keep a gravy boat handy under the desk here at FOX. But the second most-asked question is: “Glenn, what can I do?”
You can be a “Constitutional Watchdog” for America. I’m shifting my focus to another project: I’ll still be here, doing my shows on TV and radio, but our attention will be on something else, which I’ll tell you about when I can.
So we need you to keep watch over the most perfect political document ever given to mankind. Heaven knows our politicians aren’t doing it. Go to my Web site — GlennBeck.com — and look for the shield you see here at the bottom of the screen for more details.
Briefly here it is: Don’t try to pay attention to everything — it’s impossible. As we’ve discussed, they’re throwing so much at us at once — again, by design — that it’s just too much to assimilate. Find something that you know about or have interest in. Watch what Congress is doing on that. If it’s cap-and-trade, look for everything you can find on that issue. Whatever it is, when something comes up that doesn’t sound right, start barking loudly, like the Constitutional Watchdog you are.
Send me an e-mail or tweet and we’ll highlight the story you’ve uncovered. When you see the Watchdog Shield, you’ll know that it wasn’t us who found the story — it was one of our Watchdogs.
I am more optimistic — more hopeful — now than I’ve been in a long time, that, together, we can wake up enough Americans to stop what I firmly believe is an attempt to “fundamentally transform America.”

I was searching the net for some info on Valerie Jarrett after watching Glenn’s show tonight. I stumbled across this. It explains the connection between Vernon Jarrett (Valerie Jarrett’s father-in-law) and Frank Marshall Davis. It then solves the connection between Valerie Jarrett, Barack Obama, and Michelle Obama. This will make the hair stand up on the back on your neck. Make no mistake about it folks, we are under a communist revolution and this you MUST READ. I could not alert Glenn through twitter as the link is too long. If anyone here knows a way to get this to Glenn, please do so:

Being a watchdog means getting down and knowing the local issues. When we create greater strength in our local communities by joining together face to face and teaching the PRINCIPLES of the republic we will win. AS A MOM, I recognize the power of a mother’s influence in the community. There are about SEVEN places to be a watchdog that must equalize the voice of our society. Each place needs to have balance.
They are: 1) Government (that’s a no-brainer) 2) Business (the business greed helped create some of these messes.) 3) Community 4) Family — almost has no voice anymore. 5) Media — this one needs huge watchdogs right now. 6) Education — Again, as of late, you can see why we need watchdogs in education and more communities speaking out. 7) Relgion — needs to keep it’s voice in our society, without being ridiculed.
We need to remember that our voices are loudest at the community level, and we can make a difference.
FREEDOM CAN WIN!
How many individual groups are working towards the restoration of our Constitutional Republic, to remove the elected & non-elected corrupt elite? There are many, far too many for one person to stay connected to effectively. To me, it’s unorganized & well on it’s way of becoming a non productive mess. We don’t need a leader for our efforts, but there is a need for broad communication that will bring everyone together perhaps under one Dome, without loosing individuality.
Like a Conductor(s) in an Orchestra that brings all instruments together for a grand performance. Each instrument has their role and can perform individually, but together it’s a masterpiece. Each are necessary but different, contributing positively strengthening the performance. We The People need a Conductor(s), perhaps on Regional Levels that are capable of delivering the Music more effectively.
Not control – nor direction, because We The People are not lost. Perhaps asleep, but the Giant – “We The People” have been awaken! There is a need for Disciplined Conductors that can Unite to deliver more than a faint pulse, but a percussion so effective it’s heard around the World. It’s the voices of We The People!!
God Bless America

Is anyone else aware of this? According to an email I received today – the passage of Senate Bill SB2099 will require us to put on our 2009 1040 federal tax form all guns that you have or own. It will require fingerprints and a tax of $50 per gun.
This bill was introduced on Feb. 24, 2009, by the Obama staff. BUT … this bill will only become public knowledge 30 days after the new law becomes effective! This is an amendment to the Internal Revenue Act of 1986. This means that the Finance Committee has passed this without the Senate voting on it at all.
The full text of the IRS amendment is on the U.S. Senate homepage, U.S. Senate You can find the bill by doing a search by the bill number, SB-2099.
You know who to call; I strongly suggest yo u do. Please send a copy of this e-mail to every gun owner you know.|
Also important for you to be aware of a new bill HR 45 introduced into the House. This is the Blair Holt Firearm Licensing & Record of Sale Act of 2009
Basically this would make it illegal to own a firearm – any rifle with a clip or ANY pistol unless:
-It is registered -You are fingerprinted -You supply a current Driver’s License -You supply your Social Security # -You will submit to a physical & mental evaluation at any time of their choosing -Each update – change or ownership through private or public sale must be reported and costs $25 – Failure to do so you automatically lose the right to own a firearm and are subject up to a year in jail. -There is a child provision clause on page 16 section 305 stating a child-access provision. Gun must be locked and inaccessible to any child under 18. -They would have the right to come and inspect that you are storing your gun safely away from accessibility to children and fine is punishable for up to 5 years. in prison.
If you think this is a joke – go to the website and take your pick of many options to read this. It is long and lengthy. But, more and more people are becoming aware of this. Pass the word along. Any hunters in your family pas s this along.|
CALL YOUR CONGRESSMAN – STOP SB2099
Cathy,
I wouldn’t have been surprised if the SB2099 rumor had been true. However, according to SNOPES, this rumor is busted.

Could the current debate over the fish vs. water in the San Joaquin Valley be a liberal purge of years of excess? For the past three decades the left has run amok in California. Illegal Immigrants, excessive taxes, environmental activists, and free services for anyone. Now the Dems have elected to turn off water to one of the most fertile, productive agricultural area in the country. WHY?
Could it be that the state is bankrupt, their credit rating at the bottom, and they could not convince the US Gov. to bail them out? Instead, the Democrat leadership in this country, many of which hail from Ca. (Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer, Waxman, Solis, Waters) have cooked up a way to clean up this mess. Starve out the farmers and their workers. The Hmong’s (which Carter resettled after Vietnam), the illegal Mexicans and a variety of other migrants that California welcomed into the state for years. Many settled in this Valley to work, many went on public assistance and have become a drain on the taxpayers. What better way to clean up these years of excess under the cover of saving an endangered fish. Starve out the work, force the indigent to flee elsewhere and open up this land for new green jobs. Sun is plentiful as is wind in this beautiful valley. Let’s populate it with wind turbines and solar panels. And, since this is Ca. we can force most of this work into the hands of Union Labor (green mail).
I don’t know about you, but as a multi-generational Californian, I am suspicious……….
I attended a meeting here in FL today where Marco Rubio, 2010 candidate for US Senate, spoke.
He is a 9-12 er!
Our current governor, RINO Charlie Crist (running for the same Senate seat in 2010) literally embraced Obama and his massive stimulus spending. Florida requires voters be registered in the party they will vote in for the primary. Many like me officially left the Republican party a few years ago. I had to change my voter registration back so I can vote for Rubio next year. We need more candidates like him. Keep looking because they are out there and they need our support. We have to know we can trust the candidates we vote for and I believe the 9-12 Project gives us a way to vet our options to see who is really of the People!
You must do more than just be a registered republican. For the Republicans to have REAL statesman we must get OURSELVES ELECTED AS DELAGATES. Find out how it’s done, and then you will REALLY have an impact. This is a crucial part that we are ignoring in our organizing.
We must be at the caucuses with our friends and neighbors and become state delagates. They are the ones that decide who even gets to run on the ticket for the party, not the voters.
President B.O. (stinks) has stated today at the black caucuses that we need health care now, not next week, not next month, not next year. How long can the cup of (not verbatim, but in essence) patience not overflow? We will raise the black community in America first.
This sounds militant and racist to me. I did not know that people were being oppressed in America. Who are these oppressors and where are they? I thought we were all equal, I guess I must be naive. I have known black people who were very successful people, they did not need the government to “raise them up”, they did it the old fashioned way, by themselves. Bettering yourself has always been the American way and any other way is unacceptable and unAmerican.
Twice in the past 2 elections, I witnessed firsthand how many “non-profit organizations” are campaigning in elections….many using their organization offices, just like ACORN. It is all over America! My first incidence of discovery was a multi-million $ non-profit in WA state, a cultural entity I’d done some fundraising/volunteer work for.
I dropped by; coincidentially during a local/county election in which I was involved as a Campaign strategist and manager for a new slate of Repub candidates); and finding the reception area and executive offices empty, I wandered through the large facility and ultmately found most of the execs and staff downstairs in the copy room, printing, folding and boxing Thousands of pro-Dem candidates election materials….hundreds if not thousands of dollars in staff time and materials..as well as Free postage!
I contacted the newspaper, followed up with a letter to the Editor…expecting some comments back. Instead, within days, front page photo and article announced the Exec Director had resigned. This was odd since she was brand new, had been on the job only 3 mos….she was made scapecoat to protect the organization.
- In Louisians, campaigning for Bush, I was verbally attacked by a group of a dozen “normal” looking women who arrived toegther with posters…..I was stunned. Women I’d seen in my neighborhood grocery “gone rabid”! One was embarrassed and came over to apologize….stating that it’s regrettable when they get too fired up and forget their manners. They were just trying to support their work and protect the budget for the SPCA! By the way, they were ALL wearing SPCA t shirts. No one loves animals more than I but have since stopped donating money to be used for Dem candidates in national elections. This is Rampant in America and Acorn is merely the tiny tip of this iceberg!
The last couple sentences are classic, I think this applies to welfare and the other entitlement programs.

Financial pledges to the Clinton Global Initiative held steady this year compared with 2008 in spite of the recession, Bill Clinton, former US president, said on Friday.
Mr Clinton’s annual philanthropic conference drew 282 commitments worth “more than $8bn” this year, he said at the conclusion of the conference. Last year CGI drew 250 commitments valued at $8bn.
“This was achieved at the tail-end of the worst global economic crisis in recent history,” Mr Clinton said. “A lot of the people that made these commitments did so from a much lower financial base than they did last year.”
The commitments include moves to battle hunger, improve roads, fight human trafficking and broaden access to education. Members of the CGI, who must pay $20,000 annually to be part of the group, are required to fulfill their commitments to retain membership.
Mr Clinton said that he was pleased that pledges held up during the economic crisis. According to The Foundation Center, which tracks giving by philanthropic groups, overall corporate foundation donations are projected to be off by as much as 13 per cent in 2009.
The conference was attended by more than 100 heads of state, corporate leaders, scholars, philanthropists and film stars. Hillary Clinton, US secretary of state, ended the four-day event wit h a call to combat global hunger and improve “food security”.
“Revitalising global agriculture will not be easy, but it can and will be done,” Mrs Clinton said.
Meanwhile, Mr Clinton said that the US had failed in its efforts to fight hunger during the last 30 years by providing emergency food aid to poor countries rather than helping them become self-sufficient.
“We forgot the dignity element of being able to feed yourself,” Mr Clinton said.
Hmm, Ya think so?
Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009, this must be stopped. I have far too much info on it to post here. Glenn, You can reach me thru email: rlgerenser@gmail.com
I chair a committee on 912 communique, and my researchers have done a fine job so far. At this time I would like their findings to be reviewed, and a recommendation as to the direction to go now, and what additional info you will need.
This legislation will touch every corner of our lives, the most frightening part is the authority of the gov’t to quarantine entire geographic areas of the country.
