Yes, let’s take economic advice from a man who made his billion buying and selling Las Vegas casinos and Las Vegas real estate.
He’s exchanging his dollars for RMB, he says, because of the Democratic government we have in the United States, which does change it’s mind every two years after each election.
Fact folks: he’s moving his business there for cheap labor and cheap capital cost, and a dictatorship whose policies, for sure, are more stable than any democracy.
Yep, let’s send our jobs and dollars to China and India, and disingenuously blame our Constitutionally elected government.
What we need, I say sarcastically, is more Las Vegas casino owners in government.
I highly doubt the previous poster personally knows Steve Wynn or knows anything about the casino industry. We are not sending jobs to China, no casinos are being shut down in our country and moved over there. Many U.S. businesses have branches overseas. The Chinese have alot of money and many of them enjoy gambling, Americans are being transferred there in management and training positions. I do know Mr. Wynn personally and I can tell you much of the profit that will be made in China will be spent in the U.S. He is a huge supporter of education and the arts and very involved in the betterment of the community . Las Vegas casino owners are no longer “thugs” of past times. A very lengthy and difficult background check is run on anyone wanting to own a casino establishment, if anything becomes a red flag the license is denied. Mr. Wynn is a bright businessman who has realized the American Dream by hard work and effort. He did not come by his success easily and is devoted to his country. Good for him for speaking up.
