8-28 Is Fast Approaching – Will You Be In DC With Us?

Many 9-12 organizations are planning trips to the event that Glenn is creating for 8-28. Are you going to be joining us in Washington DC for this non-political event to restore honor and renew America and Americans? We would love to hear from you. Send us an email with details on your group, large or small.
Are there any plans to have 8-28 simulcast on television or available in theaters? This would be great to watch on the big screen since we can’t make it.
I won’t be there either. Like most of you middle Americans, I can’t afford the trip. And I don’t live close enough to get on a bus provided courtesy of Freedom Works and other organizations that are funded by the biggest companies in the United States. They’ll bus you, feed you, and all they ask in return is your presence and support, as patriots, for policies that benefit the richest in our country.
But I’ll be watching! I do have a few questions I hope are answered:
You’ll hear speeches about our Freedoms being “taken away”. I hope to to hear example of a single Freedom that’s being taken away. Is there, like, a government curfew I haven’t hear about? Testimony from someone who has escaped from a FEMA concentration camp? What freedom has been taken away?
And I’m sure you’ll hear that we want to “get back to the Constitution.” What I’d like is a single, concrete example of where the country has violated the Constitution. Since the Constitution gives the Supreme Court the authority to interpret the Constitution, I suppose there are specific decision of that body that are wrong. What are those and if so, why?
Since the 9.12 group is carrying on the tradition of MLK and his support of Civil Rights, I’ll be looking for black faces in the crowds.
JCS – You should listen to Glenn’s radio program or actually read about this event, it is a non-political event. This is about personal honor and how each individual can better themselves and thus better the country by restoring honor to her citizens.
Also, this is not about Freedom Works… or any other group you might try and paste on it… If you would attend and promise to keep an open and honest mind about it, I’ll betcha we could raise the bus fare. – The 912 Elves
Awesome Editor. Actually I don’t have cable or listen to the radio except for music in my short commute to work. Sometime I listen to Rush and Glen driving out of town on business. You won’t be shocked to hear I mostly get Glenn Beck quotes from Media Matters, and (as a statistician) I know they’re picking out the most, say, entertaining ones, and not a random samples.
But I’m sure people are being bussed into this event and there are probably other incentives for attending. If those busses are being paid for, not by Dick Armey or his like, but by regular people like you and me donating a few bucks to the cause, well, I owe you and everyone else here an apology.
My friend and I had plans to drive to Washington on 8/28, but they fell through. I need to know if there are any groups with seats available on buses leaving from New York City or the surrounding surburbs(I live 55 mi north of NYC). I can get to Dutchess, Putnam, Westchester or the NYC area.
Glenn is a true patriot and has enlightened us with so much American History we were never taught.
I’ve been a fan of Glenn’s since 2000 and don’t want to miss this event.
