I’m not sure this is the best book about Franklin, although everyone educated person should study his life and ideas. He was one of of the most influential people in history, and he was, in my opinion, peerless in his understanding of political, social and in some areas the science of his era. He has been described as one of the most intelligent humans to ever walk the Earth, although he was as human as the rest of us, with all the accompanying flaws.
