This is an well done, intelligent video in my opinion. On the one hand there’s the suggestion that the census is flawed and intrusive, but on the other they addressed the very real issue of race identification in our country. I can speak with authority on this because my daughter is half Mexican, although through a quirk of genetics she looks completely Caucasian. I’ve been asked by the school system to identify her race. My daughter and I have discussed this exact issue, the self-identification of race. I think the video really represents in a positive way that kind of discussion.
The demographic of our country is changing, and the dilemma of “question 9″ is becoming more and more common.
