If you think you are not changing the political landscape or bringing more light and transparency to the process, then think again – and read about what’s happened in Colorado.
“Both the GOP gathering at Loveland’s Budweiser Events Center and a Democratic Party State Assembly in Broomfield on Saturday were marked by the nationwide anti-incumbent and anti-political insider mood that has led to the recent primary election defeats of longtime Sen. Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania and Trey Grayson, who had been backed by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in the Kentucky GOP Senate primary.”
“Tea party, 912 Project supporters liven up state GOP assembly in Loveland”
And… The Wall Street Journal says: Colorado Dark Horses Put In Good Showing

Fellow posters on this website: this is a free spell checker for any text, but designed for internet use. No spam, no government agency watching your internet usage (if you’re paranoid), just a freebie spell checker.
This is the second time I’ve posted this. I’m a horrible speller. But honestly, when you misspell words, it make you look uneducated. And leaves you open to cheap attacks based on your spelling rather than your argument.

Glenn OWNS president Obama:

I can’t wait for all the liberals to cry like babies over this one. You have to listen to the whole thing! We love you Glenn Beck. You’re a true American patriot.
My post was sarcasm if you missed that. If you listen to that audio, you’ll hear cruel mockery directed against an 11 year old child who never asked to be the daughter of the President of the United States, not to mention the stereotypical “black” accent of Beck’s co-host, especially given that his primary advertisers abandoned him on the basis of similar comments. I’m not a Beck fan obviously, but honestly I’m not bothered. But I am wondering if the Beck mentally has it totally together.
The Bigger government becomes the more the people will vote out the current elected officials. Every current congressman and senate running for reelection in Novemeber is fighting for there political lives. And it’s there owen fault. I am so sick of the same people being elected to there forth to tenth time to and elected office. And none of the politicians get it . I recently went to a Town Hall meeting with local politicans, most of them running for reelection this year. The agenda was jobs and small busness. Every person there was up-set with how governmen had interfered with small busness thru over regulation and over taxation. Our county here in Florida has lost more then 1000 small busnesses just in the last year, ( Thats busnesses under 200 employees), And we have lost over 100 large companys. Are unemployment rate is now over 15% in my county. Know one at the meeting had a problem with paying taxes or with having a busness licensings. Were the problem is the number of licening and the mandatory insurances that are put on small busnesses. One small busness man that owens a paint store, had to let all ten of his employees go. This man paid more then $185,000 dollars in property taxes and busness licening fees. This man said ” If this situation dose not change in six mounts, I am out of busness forever. And I’ve been in busness for over 40 years.” This is just one example of what happened at this meeting. The politicians answer to this mans problem is ” We are currently working on a comprehensive program to address just this issue.” The politicians just don’t get it. None of them have had to work hard for any thing.
Third Red Scare. The tea party is definitely anti-communist. I my opinion, any person who thinks Communism is a workable economic philosophy is a fool. There certainly isn’t a single official in the present administration who is promoting Communism as a viable form of government. But let’s face it, that’s what all the AM radio pundits are claiming – the administration is full of Communists.
This is the third time this has happened since 1900. Read about it and then compare with what’s happening today. This is an old story in our country’s history.

jcs, Look at the road we’re on, Whats at the end of it? It’s like a destination,We’re at 45-50% goverment? Commie’s 100% what direction are they moving the country?
Believe it are not (and I’ve said this before on this website), when I step back from my own political opinions, I think the tea party movement is awesome. I’m not sure how big it is, but there is an upwelling of people, never before involved in politics, doing their best to make their voices heard. I certainly have in mind a lot of negative comments about the tea party, but I’ll say only here that the movement, whether I agree or not, is one thing that makes this a great nation, one that will endure.
But here’s why I think the tea party will be short lived. For one the tea party has no specific, defined goals except to oppose the present administration. It’s one thing to talk about “smaller government, fiscal discipline, and free enterprise” (although no one was much worried about smaller government or fiscal discipline in the previous administration), it’s another to have a specific plan. Exactly what government programs or oversight would the tea party scale back or get rid of? Social Security, Medicare, OSHA, FDA, the military? What do you throw out? The tea party has no answers to those questions – the only goal is to “just say no” to everything the President opposes.
A second reason the tea party movement will fail is that it is based fear and uncertainty in the current, horrific economic environment (reminder: the economy failed before President Obama took office). The “throw the bum’s out” mentality is only going to last until the economy improves in a way that everyone feels. America has seen this mentality over and over in history. The economy is in right direction but it has a year or two to go.
Tea party, go for it. But let’s talk specific policy issues.
