11/5: Scenes From Health Care Rally on Capitol Hill

Here’s a statement from Deb Johns who is there along with Amy Kremer and Lloyd Marcus, representing the Tea Party Express:

“People have come from every state to the People’s House, to show their solidarity to keep America free! They have announced the intention to clean house in 2010, and remove those members who vote for this health care bill.”

I am getting so pumped up hearing these whack job comments from “born again christians” and guns. I know you want to use them, so go ahead. So do I. The difference between me and you is that I know how to use mine. I’m a Democrat who owns five guns. None of them being semiautomatic because I kill what I shoot at on the first shot. Let’s just put the words aside and have another civil war. Please, oh please will one of you racist nutt cases just go ahead and follow Glenn Beck’s teachings and start the war?

If you were not there and only commenting on the above pictures. Don’t comment on the types of people who were there.

Good point. Maybe the photographer only got pictures of white people. I don’t think so, but maybe.

But I am reminded of the Republican Convention. There’s plenty of video of the people present. Hardly a minority to be seen. Same for the town hall meetings.

I’ll make claim, which you can dispute, that the tea party crowd is not representative of the average American. They are not “mainstream America.” They are old, white folks. If you disagree, I’d be happy to listen.

Types of people – who cares? They were Americans. Enough said.

  3. wwwexler says:

There were almost 4,000 people there. What could this be called if not an overwhelming majority of Americans?

As the previous poster said, it’s always ok to point the barrel of a gun at somebody to make them understand you. Just look at what happened at Ft. Hood today.

    Lots of understanding.

Actually, no, that’s not “an overwhelming majority of Americans.” There are over 300 million Americans in the United States. That’s a vanishingly small fraction of Americans.

Notice too, that these Americans are almost completely white, old and male. Hardly representative of the population. That’s the tea party crowd, but not the average American, although FOX would like you to believe otherwise.

And for the guy below who wants the violent overthrow of the government, you’d better watch out. The government monitors this website, and can, through IT techniques, find out who you are and is probably now monitoring your movements. You’ll be one of the first to be thrown into the FEMA concentration camps if you’re captured.

      • Boojer says:

That is a minor percentage of of the majority of americans. There is no way you are going to get the entire majority out on a weeks notice. The majority we are talking about have families and jobs which makes it difficult to just up and leave for a day or so. We refer to this as personal responsibility. it took six months to get the 9.12 rally together. I took four days off of work so I could go. We still had 2.2 million show up per the park service and the local channel 7. Still at best you are only going to get at most a 2% turnout for something like that. The only reason the progressives got in was with the help of ACORN, SEIU and voter fraud.

I think we will see the silent majority in action at the 2010 polls. Lets pick up this discussion then.

FYI. Usually if some one is advocating violence they are banned from the site.

Obviously the posters so far here were not at the event but listened to what Keith Obverma or MSNBC. On my way home from the demonstration I was horrified to hear MSNBC’s account of the event. They said there was 4000 people and white racist people full of hate. First of all it was 50 to 60 thousand people not 4000 MSNBC was right next to me but the footage they showed on TV was before the people got there so it looked like no one showed! There was several nationalities not just white people. There were tons of elderly people (they are the ones that kept this country free while we grew up and they are still fighting)The people at the rally we so nice and loving god fearing people. These people are the true patriots of American and love this country. We sang the national anthem and god bless America. I guess that is hate to these communist progressives. I’m glad I went to this event. Being in the 40′ish it’s our turn to get involved to protect freedom. Turn off the TV and wake up and get involved. Stop listening to the government run TV propaganda and see for yourself the lies you are being told.

I stand corrected. The ACTUAL figure I heard from reliable Fox News was between 4,000,000 and 4,000,000 people. WTG, you turned ‘em out Michele. (You know, she’s not half bad to look at in the right light).

So every night, and I mean EVERY night, I get down on my knees and thank Jesus that we live in a country where we can go to Washington and scare our government. 5,000,000 people, that’s enough to scare them good, too. As long as we can keep guns, God, and gays going, I mean guns and God going and gays GONE it will be a brighter future for America.

      Obama is a darkie!

If you were unable to contact your representatives in D.C. please contact their local offices. I hear that it’s difficult to get through the switchboards in Washington. Also, if you call your local office, you have a better chance of catching a live human.

It is time for all of us who love America to use the power of our voices in these protests and tea parties, and use the power of our vote to throw these communists/socialists out. They are so arrogant that they are not listening to the will of the people. It may be necessary, if after we do all we can do to stop this communist movement, is to have a 1776 type of Revolution that the colonists used to attain their independence and rights and create a new nation. We may need to do the same to retain our great nation. That is why the Founding Fathers put the 2nd Amendment into The Consitituion; i.e., that when the government becomes so oppressive and unresponsive to the will of the American people, it may come down to the use of force by guns against them to make them understand that we are the owners of this nation, not a bunch of liberal elitists who think they know more than we do, and who think they can rule us.
I am a Born Again Christian who believes in peace and love for all. But, when there is a great threat against our nation, and God is put under attack by liberals by every means possible, it is time for us to rise up and do what is necessary. The end of a barrel of a gun aimed at these quislings’, so called, brains may be the thing that they understand because they refuse to try and understand the frustration and anger of the American people when we express to them verbally that we are not going to stand for a communist left wing nation imposed upon us by these yahoos.

    • mshook says:

jamalagrin I understand how you feel but as a born again Christian we are called to peace render to Czar that which is Czar’s. We must get involved in the political system while it is still free and in peaceful demonstration until they will suffer us no more. Remember this has all been foretold in Daniel and the end is victory not by men but by our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and to his glory and the glory of your father. These are great and horrible times we live in. Even so come Lord……………….

      • wwwexler says:

I’m sure glad that all of this Czar stuff came out. I never knew before that Obama has ties that lead through Africa all the way back to pre-revolutionary Russia.

In Ezeekernefa, one of the lost books of the Bible, it fortells of a “… man from the far west, half white, half black, all red, who will come to take money from the Hemmohites. ” I figure they must be talking about Obama, and we’re the people he’s been waiting for.

God bless America, and save our DOLLAR!

The Christian right wing supports torturing human beings, but opposes people electing representitives to make healing more affordable and attainable for all.
      Born again, huh?
Maybe you should try it one more time.
