10/30: Report: Dozens in Congress Under Ethics Scrutiny

Nearly half the members of a House panel in control of Pentagon spending are under scrutiny by ethics investigators in Congress, The Washington Post reported Friday, citing a leaked confidential House ethics committee report.

Investigations by two separate ethics offices include an examination of Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa.,chairman of the appropriations subcommittee on defense, and six other lawmakers and their relationships with an influential lobbying firm, the newspaper said.

If you or I committed the acts of fraud and abuse and thievery that so many in our government, from the top down,we would be arrested and put in jail so fast it would make your head swim! This whole system in power right now has totally voided the constitution that’s supposed to protect us!If we don’t somehow force those mafiaso stooges out now by the end of the year we will be on the edge or over the edge to total government control of our lives. Will any attorneys out there support us and be brave enough to use our constitition to stop this travisity of justice?Or are you the attornys as rotten as the government?Lord help us if this comes to blows!!

Read the Washington Post article as it points out something very important that this one here i just read did not. Today when we know washington is corrupt and there are many spineless weasels in washington I want to shine the spotlight on a man that has principles in washington. The post article says that Rep. Devin Nunes of california made allegations that he was threatened by the lobbyists and if he did not play along they would move a company out of his district. Well he stood up against these lobbyists saying ” I didn’t appreciate being threatened” Nunes said ” To me, it was the symptom of the disease we have in Congress, where a lot of members have simply gotten addicted to contributions from companies that are getting their earmarks”. Its in the Post article… read it. I live in california north of his district and he is on a local radio talk show constantly explaing to people whats going on in washington, so i do know about him. This is a man with a backbone who stands on conservitive principles and on what is right . I certainly hope Rep. Nunes is a refounder or becomes one.
