10/7: Obama Puts Union Strings on Federal Jobs
Posted by Editor on October 7, 2009 · 3 Comments
Delivering on President Obama’s promise to boost the labor movement, the administration has announced a $35 million federal construction project in New Hampshire that requires union representation for the workers and forces nonunion employees to pay dues and contribute to a union pension fund.
Mr. Obama issued an executive order in the first weeks of his presidency that would make the requirement, known as a “project labor agreement” or PLA, the norm for all government contracts on large-scale construction jobs. The order is under review and a final rule is not expected for months, but that did not stop the Labor Department from rushing to use a PLA to build its new Job Corps Center in Manchester, N.H.

THIS is a jaw dropper. Forcing non union workers to sign on and pay dues …. Because the job was forced into a union organization as a Quid pro quo.
SO Obama’s whole midset is that EVERYONE has got to be corrupt … or he just can’t work with you. he doesn’t understand any other kind of midnset of not kicking back money, not laundering slush funds, not greasing the right palms, not two sitting union seats, not … you know what … forget it … he doesnt understawnd doing business above board.
THis article is going out in my newsletter today. sure it is only like 5000 people, but this one is the one going .
Obama is a criminal and a traitor to our nation, and he proves it everyday with acts like this. big business. big government. big corruption. screw this guy, it is time to take these people to the curb and dump them over. we need to freeze their personal accoutns, kick them out of the contry and then distribute their wealth while they spend some time in a communist contry and see how cool it really is in that kind of enviroment.
For those of you keeping score, here’s some cool capitalistic math problems for you:
Non-Union Worker:
Wage – Union Dues – Union Pension – Taxes – Social Security – Unemployment Insurance = ? (does the number approach or equal zero?)
Union Worker:
Wage – Union Dues – Union Pension – Taxes – Social Security + Union Perks + Retirement Security + Unemployment Protection = ?
Which worker gets the greater salary?
Which worker has the incentive to work harder? Is it the same worker that MUST work harder?
Which worker puts more money into the system?
Which worker gets more money from the system?
What happens if everyone is one type or worker or the other? Which type is better for the economy, which is worse?
Answer these questions properly and you will have graduated from Macro Labor Economics 101.
This one really set me off tonight. I could not believe the audacity to deduct from the pay of non-union workers to line the pockets of the corrupt union reps.
Can we ban labor unions? because This is getting ridiculous.
They freakin” helped destroyed GM!
