Well said my friend.Now send this to the left side of the isle since they need to here this far worse than the right.We need debate , nice civil debate the kind that after we all can sit down and have a drink togeather.There is nothing wrong with a pasionate conversation if at the end of it we are shaking hands instead of clinching fist.I an a moderate conserative ,and have voted rep most of the time , but right now there isn’t much in any party I would vote for.Greed has put this country where it is today and I see much the same with this new adminstration.I didn’ vote for Obama but I am willing to give him a chance even though i disagree with his policies, but his actions so far are way to the left of the center he ran on.This is making it difficult to be patient when if you disagree the left trys to link you to the kkk or says you are unamerican when all you do is care about the welfare of this great country.The left brought the name calling into politics and have used it until it has become common too to shut people up.Now the flood gates are open and everybody needs to reel themselves back in so once again we can come togeather in civil debate and decide what is best for this country.

Refer to Federalist #10 as to the difference (from the perspective of Madison, et. al.) between a democracy and a republic.

“The two great points of difference between a democracy and a republic are: first, the delegation of the government, in the latter, to a small number of citizens elected by the rest; secondly, the greater number of citizens, and greater sphere of country, over which the latter may be extended.” (Federalist #10, Madison)

Of course, neither concept justifies illegal actions.
I am sure that with a little effort you will find the this distinction is commonplace among both the Founding Fathers and the Framers.

There are a several of problems with your references to Samuel Adams over Pelosi, et. al, as the standard-bearer for interpretation of The Constitution.

First, the document was the outcome of a collective process, meaning that 54 Founding Fathers – and not any 1 of them – jointly created the document through the process of discussion, persuasion, and compromise. Therefore it would be incorrect and improper to focus on the interpretation of one single member over others.

Second, and more simply, Mr. Adams declined to participate in the Convention of 1787 and therefore was not involved in the creation of the document.

Third, the Convention made it clear that future generations were not to be tied by the events, interpretations, and preferences of the men of 1787. They did this by (1) creating a mechanism by which our Constitution may be revised; and (2) adopting a resolution saying so.

actually every where the president goes he takes two planes all by himself so lets make it three not to mention the fighter escorts along with the cargo plane caring all the secure transportation like his cars ect.You are right the tax payers sacrificed a lot of money so he could parade his friends around and have another chance to say we are sorry.Not to mention gave him another blame bush outing.

Oh there was plenty of sacrifice. Americans once again had their tax dollars sacrificed to pay for this failed endeavor so the President and his wife could fly in two separate planes. The environment made a sacrifice for those planes as well. Our troops are sacrificing themselves while our President postpones any decision so he could accomplish this fiasco. Then there will be the hundreds of media outlets who will willingly throw themselves under the buss for Obama to defend this abominable action. They will be making sacrifices as well. The networks and newspapers will sacrifices more of their subscribers as more and more people move away from those who just keep making excuses for Obama. Yes, Michelle Obama was right, this trip required and will continue to require a lot of sacrifice of everyone’s part except for the Obama’s.

What happens in seal training is radically different than what happens in cases where law enforcement is doing it to you.

I am not going to defend Clinton or any administration that gave that order… if they did they have BIG questions to answer for.

That has to have meaning and be enforced.

Good morning everybody including Jimbo.I guess the Olympics is center stage and every body needs to write a thank you letter to the OBAMA’s for their sacrifice.I beginning to think the bad intel. went from one administration to the next looking at the safe school czar now.How does Obama keep picking people like this to advise him.Anyone who would advise a 15 year old child to wear a condom instead of protecting him against the adult he was involved with has no business being in charge of safety in our schools.Weather it the kid was willing or not something should have been done to protect that child.He is continuing to surround himself with people whose morals are suspect which leads me to question not only his judgment but his morals as well.Who is next PeeWeeHerman for movie theater czar Hell maybe he can get Bill Clinton to be his smoker Czar specifically dealing with cigars in the work place.
