Beck: You know, when I first started this show, I told you that my goal was to always tell the truth as I understand it.
But also, to do something different. The fringe media just touches on things — they don’t see the big picture.

While this all makes a LOT of sense, I suspect this goes perhaps even deeper. Once you get into people like Soros funding these organizations, you have to look into why foreign interests are so interested. Then you see how deeply GE is involved (alongside Obama) as they shape foreign agendas and their profit worldwide they could receive should the cap & trade succeed. Watch as Obama meets with the U.N. General Assembly this week. I believe the people behind Obama have an even broader global agenda which includes reducing our economic viability in order to achieve their goals.

sometimes there’s a faint glimmer of truth to some of what he says, but most is simply the paranoid raving of a poorly educated individual with nothing in his background to even vaguely qualify him to make the assertions he makes.
you would all do better to spend your time reading your health insurance policy, which 90% or more of you have never even seen, because your company and its insurer try to make it difficult for you to see it. you will learn more from a couple hours there than all day on this site. then you will learn why you are being herded like sheep by big pharma and the insurance cos. — the things you fear about the current reform plans are nothing more than what you are living with today, jut in the form of private cos. instead. what makes them better suited to decide what treatment you get?

My comments seem to have been removed by the moderators. Unfortunate, since my comments were far more civil, and more civilly stated, than many, if not most, of the ones posted below. My comments were an educated man’s reply to wstr’s comments of 9/21/09 at 8:33 PM, in which he/she declared that Glenn was “unqualified” to make the assertions he makes, based upon Glenn’s lack of formal education (indoctrination), referring to Glenn as “a poorly educated individual.” My reply was that of a person who has been through that system, including my having a Master’s degree from it, that I find Glenn’s position very much qualified, in, at least, that he usually has also supplied a reading list from individual authors who also have been through that formal system. I also added a couple additional authors, such as Roger Kimball (author of “The Long March”) and Myron Magnet (author of “The Dream and the Nightmare”), regarding the history of the Left, to Glenn’s own bibliographic recommendations, including David Horowitz (author of “Left Illusions”) and Ronald Pestritto (author of “Woodrow Wilson and the Roots of Modern Liberalism”), to whom Glenn alludes in his commentary(ies). All of these authors have also been through the formal system. You can imagine my dismay upon finding my comments totally absent from this discourse, considering some of the comments below. It makes me suspicious regarding the moderators, and whether their purpose is truly to educate, or just to allow a typical “blog,” most of which are completely useless, and only serve the Left’s purposes by engaging individuals with whom they disagree by distracting them into things which do not matter, when they should be “out there,” “fighting the good fight.” If my comments, including last night’s, are not to be allowed, please send them back to me, at the email address I have provided, so I may use them in my book, along with their source. Thank you.
I think what is really needed are people with a conscience, resolve and involvement. Does that exist in American politics or media? Does it still exist in main-stream American society? I watch the programs, I read the blogs (both sides), and one thing is paramount. American ignorance and apathy cannot be countered or corrected with a) shouting, b) posturing, c) misrepresentation. I think it is a good thing that people are becoming interested in politics. We have left it very late indeed. But they should be IN politics, not commenting on the fringe. We let other people do our thinking, our research, and our representation, and then cry ware! cheat! It’s time EVERY American stood up to the plate, and took a turn at batting. We rely on “everybody else”, when this country was founded by self-reliant people. It would be a good idea if well-meaning bloggers stopped arguing emotionally with half-informed (or uninformed) OPINIONS and instead started arguing FACTS. Oh, yeah… that takes EFFORT and COMMITTMENT. We are ALL responsible for our future. If it looks grim, it’s because we haven’t put our time, our effort, or our money where our mouth is. Let’s work together for a rational solution, one that leaves name calling, bias, supposition, and absolute falsehood out of the equation. Glen Beck is a commentator, but I’d like to think that he is doing his program from a sense of urgency and committment, not just gain or opportunism. You have to ask yourself… Is he getting results? Is he moving the sludge that has been substituted for American cooperation, involvement and ingenuity? Is he encouraging assiduous involvement in policing our government and it’s so-called representatives? Is he promoting self governance and individual responsibility? Then regardless of his motivations, and you can only SPECULATE on that, the proof is in the results. Regardless of your perspective, if you are truthful with yourself, you have to admit that we have been standing on the sidelines, or completely out of the loop for too long and are reaping what we’ve sown. If you are truthful and informed, you have to admit that we have lost our representation in this country and are being lead by self-serving, self-interested people who are misrepresenting all Americans for their own personal gain. I don’t think you will find ANY informed American who will disagree with that. It’s time we PARTICIPATED in our own society and its governance. I have one disagreement with Glen Beck’s stance… we need 304,059,724 + good, honest people to be part of the solution, not 56.

Easy to watch indeed. You might stop and ask yourself why Canada has a longer life expectancy, lower infant mortality, lower rates of obesity and, with its current system, a much smaller per capita health care price tag than the U.S.

Yeah, sure, we have some, but I haven’t seen any lately.
Moreover, immediately after mentioning the “kooks” the left shows video of signs like “Bury National Health Care with Kennedy.” and things like that.
Here’s the point: The left tried to RESURRECT National Health Care IN HIS NAME! They tried the, “Let’s do it for Ted Kennedy.” So, I ask, what makes the right’s answer to that (bury it with him) so kooky?
It’s insane to let the left define “kook” for us. They are NOTHING BUT KOOKS!!!
Burying the health care bill with Kennedy was nothing but an answer to what the left was saying.

Glenn is right. He is echoing what is in my Heart. I am grateful that he is putting this out and that he cares about our country. He and many others are speaking up, and getting involved. I am getting involved. Glenn has brought to light a shadow government (in the making for 40 + years) that is out of control and, as we can see, this “Obama” – “Pelosi, etc”, government cannot sustain itself under public scrutiny of the Citizens of the United States of America.

The tide might be turning on the “Fringe media”. This Tuesday there was a good article in the Richmond Times Dispatch by Victor Davis Hanson entitled ” Rangel Embodies D.C. Corruption”. Near the end of his article he states ” The false charge of racism has devolved into a convenient defense when elites find themselves trapped in their own self created legal and ethical messes, or things don’t go their way”.

How about we “Audit the Fed”? Also, what about the Builderberg Group? Aren’t they behind this whole thing? Also, can we provide proof that Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii? The Fed gives reasons for why they supposedly need to be secret about their financial s such as their balance sheet, income statement, etc. But every other public US Corporation must submit its financial statements. Why doesn’t this in effect secret organization be a public servant that shows and works in the light of day. It operates as a supposed servant of the people but it operates to create enormous debt with interest that our republic can or cannot pay back. Come out of the dark closet and lets let the light shine on it. Who is the master? The Congress or the Federal Reserve.
Now on the idea of auditing and money. My issue with this stimulus money, AIG, ACORN, SEIU, the Apollo Alliance, George Sorros, Fannie, FredieMac, Barnie Frank, Chris Dodd, Pelosi, Harry Ried, and many of these radicals is about tracing it. I believe they are setting up bogus shell companies. And it is doubtful anyone of them will provide any real service, such as profitable solar energy, except to be some of money laundering scheme. I do not TRUST any of these people to do what is right. We ask our soldiers and every citizen who pays his taxes to account. Why are not these people accountable with funds. We are talking about our money. All the tentacles of these organizations and these people are connected to enslaving us with unbearable debt and interest obligations for decades if not a century to come. It is and will systemically bring about our demise. It is beyond the pale of what a republic is about and can withstand. It is absolutely wrong.
If this leads to enslavement under socialism, communism, radicalism, even with the name of capitalism on any of it, it is all bad. Even if it stays as capitalism, it all bad. And this does not make any difference whether you are republican or a democrat. These people and organizations are elitists and frightening as to what they believe.

I was so glad when Glenn did this show with the tree showing the timeline of evildoers because it solidified my own research on this very subject. “The writing is on the wall,” so-to-speak. I completely agree with your tree it is the line of best fit. The next step we took was organizing and educating. Now, we need to find out where our influence lies.
Right before the market crash last year, Kerkorian sent out a bid offer to all shareholders of Ford to buy their stock at either $9 or $9.50. I couldn’t figure out why since Ford was trading below $6.50. Stepping back and looking at the big picture, maybe Ford knew what was coming (since the automakers all met with Bush in 2008 asking for help). Maybe Ford was worried about a takeover and asked Kerkorian to keep their price high. I really don’t know what & why. I do know that Ford did not take money from the government. Could it be that is the key to our next move?
Ford may be publicly traded but the Ford family still holds a majority holding, therefore, it is a FAMILY OWNED business that cannot be bought by the government.
I think this is our Circle of Influence is within Family Owned businesses. Maybe as consumers, we can support family owned businesses rather than the walmarts, GM’s, etc.

I’m usually able to pick out comments made by ultra-conservative drones by their apparent illiteracy. Take, for instance, “derivel” or “to bad”. Nixon/Ford had stained the White House with deceit and fouled the economy with terrible inflation. America went to the polls and we got Jimmy Carter. Four years of nothing but bad news and no leadership. It looked like America was doomed and, along came Ronald Reagan. History speaks for his leadership. No liberal blogger or media talking head can cloud his legacy. Sure, he made mistakes. It happens when you follow a set course based on proven principles and sound governance.
My wife and I are in that mosaic you see at the top of the page. We are standing in front of the Lincoln Memorial. The funding from the stimulus package is a lot of money and because the stimulus package legislation was written by the Apollo Alliance and then crammed down by the President and the leadership of the house and senate without it being read, it is clear the fox is in the hen house now. These stimulus funds, not only need to be recalled, because there has been an abuse of both the senate and the house, there needs to be real consideration given to stopping the loss of these monies throughout. I do not see any real accounting for where, and how much of these funds are going to who. But the phrase “Follow the Money is Very Important” in this case. There may need to be hearings but the problem is that getting the vote to accomplish this may not happen in the chambers where democratic control has nearly a lock on collusion. We may need a separate “We the People Court” voted upon by the states and put in place with state support. Federalism has a powerful chance of pushing back on Federal powers and bringing the voices of “We the People” more. We need to withdraw revenue and expenditures flowing to and from the Federal government. The Federal Government is supposed to take care of our security. Handing our resources to communist leadership is not only troubling but goes against everything the constitution demands the Federal government do. If these are not impeachable offenses I do not know what is.

I remember a lot of these folks pointed out in the “Tree of Revolution” and their doings from childhood – for all the good modern technology has done for us – how have they fallen under the radar?? For as much as Joe McCarthy liked to embellish facts and smear people with his version of truth – he really wasn’t to far off the mark when he said the communists are coming to take over the United States.
As “We the People” make our stand and draw a line in the sand, please don’t not forget the ancient history of the world; The great empires and societies (e.g. Rome, Greece) fell on much the same of the same ills we see happening in the United States today (e.g. morality, greed, corruption and wacko’s). If there is any congressmen that are worth their salt-they should step back, re-read their history books and apply what they learn (quickly).
I think we are headed for the edge of the cliff; I think our countries apathy has gone on for so long and the citizens’ failure to recognize the danger to liberty and freedom will be our true downfall. Over the many years I have been on this earth, I have watched our freedoms, rights and liberty be taken away step by step; the sorry thing is the youngest generations of our founders’ great experiment don’t know or recognize the rights they no longer have.

I am beginning to believe the Obama Administration is the most corrupt administration that has ever occupied Washington. It is certainly the most devious administration and was accurately defined by Rep. Joe Wilson’s comment … “You Lie”. In reality, Rep. Wilson’s comment was an under statement of what is really the covert agenda of the Obama Administration. What is probably becoming more alarming to a growing majority of Americans is that the so-called main stream media in this country has joined forces with the Obama Administration in corrupting the truth. Glenn, As you were pointing out all the connections on today’s show (09\189), it was filling in some missing pieces to my own theories.
As Bill Ayers has commented, “I didn’t feel I did enough…” in reference to the bombings in ‘68, that phrase gives us a clue into who is also involved in the 09/11 attacks on the Pentagon and the World Trade Centers. Here are my thoughts…SEIU is connected to the unions. The unions have security guard unions on the East Coast. We all know that the 9/11-Truthers have spun around the real truth about the bombings to try and blame the Bush Administration. BUT, what if it is in reality, that they are just describing all the details of what the Weather Underground did? (of course, under a new organizations’ name). Just as ACORN changes their name, so can the Weather Underground. I found it so odd that all these people just so happened to be filming the Trade Centers just before the planes hit the building and happened to catch an explosion several floors below where the planes hit. They have basically told us how they did it…just changed the names of the players. They knew that it would be the first step to cripple this country financially and also to enter us into a war, just like World War II did.
Glen, you’re on the right track. Please keep it on, keep Americans informed. They are too lazy to research on the internet themselves. All the facts are there – someone has to connect the dots for them – they’re too much into pot and cannot make that connection.

Ted Kennedy is a coward, indeed. I saw that water channel where he left that young women to die in his car, it’s really shallow. Instead of trying to safe her he went to his hotel and told no one till the next morning, and only when police found her body. I believe he only received a one year probation. The agenda of social justice, and transformation of our government needs to be addressed and clarified. Jeff Jones, Bill Ayers, WAde Radthke, Dale Radthke, Van Jones , LLoyd Morris, Carol Browner, Carl Holdren, Cass Sunstein etc. are as you say revolutionaries or radical thinkers who want to transform our society .They hold views that if government regulated would transform our country from one that defends our constitution and free market system to a socially engineered system that accomplishes social justice, if not social reparations. This would be accomplished through government control of our manufacturing sector with new green jobs and companies at the expense of current industries, control of education, and environmental regulation. I believe these idiologues actually believe their system will be a better and fairer system than the one we have now. They point at the corruption of big business and corporations, but fail to mention that they will also be using big businesses and corporations to accomplish their goals. They also fail to acknowledge that government is subject to corruption as any big corporation. The goals of these idiologues can be found on the Apollo Alliance website, the words of the president, and radicals mentioned above, and their personal histories, all available through internet research. The problem is that they do not come forth with a platform of their beliefs to change our government. We can only find it through the regulations they introduce, the writings and speeches they have made, and the organizations they support. All this raises serious questions, because at the core of their beliefs, is a world view that is unmistakenly against individual freedom, and what our constitution represents.
One of the worst and biggest roots of the progressive/radical/socialist/communist/fascist tree was left out by Glenn, that is Theodore Roosevelt who started the Progressive Party (nicknamed the Bullmoose Party). When Teddy Roosevelt ran against Taft in 1912, he split the Republican vote and allowed the election of the radical leftist and pro-Bolshevist, Woodrow Wilson. That led to the election of FDR,. the Great Depression caused by FDR and the Democrats, and the increasing socialization of America.

Like most folks I think you are a bit wrong on facts here; There were a few presidents between Wilson and FDR; Coolige and Hover; Coolige slept most of the time on the job and Hover thought leaving the economy alone it would right itself; the depression was well under way BEFORE FDR was elected.

Almost every fact and assertion Glen has been talking about over the past weeks I’ve independently investigated over the past years; and, have arrived at the same results (prior to Glen’s programs). Unfortunately, my personal situations (former Marine, Military Intel, Homeland Security contracting and now “on the dole” as a Disabled Vet and Retired) has made me keep silent over the years (A-political). I couldn’t agree with you more! All of government is doing things that are unconstitutional. But impeaching obama would be a start, then we can go from there. I can’t even think of one in government that is upholding there oath to protect the constitution.
I have thought for years that there is a greater power in this country above the president (and it isn’t God) running various administrations agendas; Okay maybe this is a little far out in never, never land but think about this; way back when – the knights templar and other early underground societies that made there way here before our revolution. I don’t think free masons are involved as anarchy wasn’t their goal but other “ancient” societies still are around and a few of the goals were global government. A few religious evangelicals have suggested that Obama is the one to bring it all together.
