Listen, Americans you are LUCKY, very LUCKY. Americans have been donated a new country a new republic, the rest of the world had to live with kings and queens, dictators and nut cases, you americans were donated the most incredible place in the entire world. Hearing americans complaining, griping, being unhappy.... Are you serious? I was forced to leave my country, I came here (very legally mind you). I had no hope no future. And here now I have to see corruption, and a nut case in Washington trying to bring here what I ran away from. Congress is corrupt, congress is in the hands of self entitling idiots who keep being elected for a lifetime. In Rome Senators could not serve for more than 2 years, power corrupted, the old romans used to say. They were right!! A general was expected to step down after ending his duties, maybe he got a triumphal entrance in Rome but then he was gone. Learn from the ones who had it first and messed it up first. Term limits, accountability, they serve us, we must be able to fire them if they are disonest, and most of all we have to kick them out next year. Do not gripe unless you are ready to move and do something to change the system. Do not gripe unless you are ready to act. Yes they are dishonest what do you expect? Power corrupts. But even worse, now in Washington there are people who are dedicated to an ideology that should scare you. They do not even care about money, they have a religion, no, not a regular religion, they believe in Carl Marx as me and you believe in the Almighty. Believe me I had to study Marx, they quote the guy on TV every day and you do not even know it. Why? you never had to STUDY his writing in HS, I had to. Wake up and smell the roses, or better understand what game they are playing. Redistribution of whealth, unions, taxing the "rich". even the "bonuses" everything is used and spoken in a way that if you just pick up "the Manifest" of Carl Marx you would finally see the light. That government is in the process of systematically tearing down, capitalism, law, education, security, and freedom. That NOTHING the people do or say can alter that course. We see the beginnings of an uprising in the recent shooting of Tiller, the increase in hate crimes, the tightened fists of the public, what is slowly building is the realization by the folks that drastic measures must be taken to reverse the current course, that there is no other path open to change what is happening………….. I am but a common man, a citizen, a veteran, a businessman, and a father, who daily sees the American dream dissolving before my eyes. I petition my local, state, and federal government to redress my grievances and receive in return silence, form letters, or auto generated email replies. I see that there no longer exists a representative government, and that all I have known my entire life is disappearing, and that my children, and their children, face a dire and gloomy existence. I see the devolution of our society and our systems occurring at a freightening rate and realize there is NOTHING I, or for that matter anyone, can do to stop it. With the wonderful invention of the Internet, any bills, changes, etc. can be presented to the American people through the Internet to obtain a one for one vote, no more electoral calculations. By doing away with Congress in both houses, we eliminate the lobbyist corruption and the vote would truly represent what the American people want. No, Congress does not matter.
