It seems that once these politicans get to Washington……….they change. Corruption is rampant in the Halls of the White House. I You see people, wealthy people, but they are the ones that call themselves public servants, but yet they cheat on their taxes, while the working class hit the floor running everyday to make a living to pay their taxes…….so they can have their cadillac insurance policies, their benefits, all the perks of being a so called public servant. But as a public servant, they close their ears, and shut their eyes to the very people that put them there. Once they get to Washington, their main agenda is greed, how they can take and take from the taxpayer, live on the public dole, and squander our hard earned tax money, live high on the hog, and to heck with the people back home……..it is down right CRIMINAL. Maybe people will sit up now, and pay attention, and demand Congressional hearings into Accorn, Rangel, Pelosie and Frank and Reed…….they are up to their eyeballs in deals and meetings with special interest groups. Like I said, I believe we should be demanding hearings, investigations……..because corruption seems to have completely taken over our Government.

Rangels’ resignation will not be enough to satisfy me, I want him prosecuted, and living in prison…

I totally agree with you………we need hearings and everything dirty deal laid out for all to see. No more cover ups. I am tired of hearing about loose lips sink ships….It is time for the coverups to end and Justice to begin.

I am a 49yr old single father of two I was hit by a uninsured drunk driver 8yr ago that left me paralyzed.
I lost my job because of it and was forced to have renter in my home as I could not pay the house payment just on SSI this was cheaper then for me to rent. But when my daughter turned 18 SSI started to give my Daughter the SSI checks after she was not eligible and charged my income taxes. To top that I was denied any stimulus checks. Now I have to pay it back and I believe that if I owe money I should pay it back.
I really need a break. I ask all out there to help me and my family.
I will be running for any Gov. Job that will allow me to stop paying any taxes and so I can buy my kids homes
I am not asking for much I will be fallowing the Rep. Rangel rules it seems all I need is to be paid around $175k maybe less as the economy is going down I could buy homes a lot cheaper these days.

This seems to be how most of these politicians all think.

We our Americans let’s take back this Great Country make America First

Everybody seems to be forgetting that obama and all of the dems are royalty and as such they live by a different set of rules than the commoners do! Look at the crimes that all of the dems commit and are ignored then look at the way that talk show and blogger Hal Turner is being treated. http://family-of-hal-turner.blogspot.com/ Be sides being arrested on trumped up charges in order to shut him up he isn’t even being treated humanly.

I am 65 yr old widow. I was in a accident 6/07 and lost my job ( 15 Yr ) my paycheck and health insurance. I had to sell my house at a loss and pay $458.00 month for Cobra to continue my medical and surgeries which still resulted in being disabled. I had to pay taxes on the money I took out of my retirement account to live on and pay my medical bills which were $700.00 plus per month for 26 months. I HAD TO PAY MY TAXES so why doesn’t Mr. Rangel who has so much need to pay his. I would be the firt person in on the steps 9/12 if I could walk.

  7. SheriS says:

Unfortunately, the Dems will keep Rangel in office and he will continue to abuse his powers by doing exactly what he has been doing for years. But if you or I did the same things he has done, we would no doubt be in jail. Guess when you write the tax laws you can do anything whether it is legal or not.

The nerve of this man (Rangel). He needs to clean his own house before he starts looking into anyone else. It is one right after another. Are all of these crooks covering for each other? How can a parent tell their children to do the right thing, to pay their taxes, to love their fellowman, to not cheat, lie and do your homework when these type of people are running our government? How can anyone tell children to stay in school, do your homework, respect people when the ones speaking it won’t even investigate what is going on all around them? Hmmm!! I am appalled, mad, sad and I want to know how these people get jobs at that Whtiehouse? I want them to come clean. I would be ashamed but I can’t see they are.
