The Census Director has sent a letter to the National Headquarters of ACORN notifying the group that it will no longer have a role in conducting the 2010 census. ACORN had previously been tapped to help with low-level data gathering.

It is about time that someone looked at ACORN seriously and what about all of the stimulus money they got?
I live in the state of Washington and for one I would like to have the government look into their activities in this state. This state is predominantly conservative and when I went to vote this year, I was aghast. I think that the elections in Iraq were probably more sophisticated. I was given a paper ballot a pen in an elementary gym and all I could do was go to a lunch table with groups of people and fill in the dots. I just moved from Texas and they actually do everything electronically and check identification and you vote privately. In Washington I could see how ballot stuffing could be done very easily.
This is America. We are supposed to be a very technologically savvy country. A paper and pen, really?
Community organizing should be outlawed. If appears to be a shell for corruption, extortion and fraud. They should be made to give back the taxpayer’s money, now.

Why was it that Fox news was the only one reporting about ACORN ( A Criminal Organization Run Nationally ) and the people attempting to help the so called Pimp get loan for house of ill. Also it was Fox who showed the full shot after MSNBC claimed White people with guns at Obama town hall and it was really a Black man in the newscast shot. Blame Fox all you want but I feel it is time to get real News casters who reveal the truth not what someone else wants to portray.
SonnyRice, Goggle Mark Lloyd, who is the NEW Chief of the Office of Diversity at the FCC. Fox has called him a Czar, but the White House is very quick to point out that he is not a Czar, but the head of a newly-appointed office at the FCC. In his past, he worked for NBC and CNN (might have been another one), so no wonder the other channels are in Obama’s pocket. This is the next guy we need to get rid of. Senator Grassley wrote Lloyd to be sure that he would not institute the Fair & Balanced Rule. I haven’t heard from Grassley on his reply. However, it has been reported that he will do something even worse. Charge a license fee equal to the operating costs for that station. Now you understand, this will apply to stations that do not reflect the opinions of the White House. In reality, this is a loss of freedom of speech and we should all be up in arms about it. In the meantime, we’re still waiting to see what will happen.
A report from our 9/12 Project and Tea Party in Boise Idaho yesterday:
About 1000 folks showed up. The organizers did a great job, thanks to all of them! Everything went well, we had a lot of support from the waiting motorists even when they were waiting on us to cross the street. When the other protesters showed and just quietly marched their signs around, there was no problem. When one of them began shouting over our person on stage then someone from our group apparently got mad. At least security took care of it right away and it was one small incident. Channel 7 story was short but they really gave no opinion. Channel 2 misspoke and I am going to email them. They said we did not want to hear what the other side was saying. All of us attending know that is not the truth. It was our rally and they had no right to try to shout down our speaker. No one had a problem with them just showing their opposing signs. Overall it was a success and there will be more to come.

The census bureau’s public affairs specialist Shelly Lowe makes the statement that the “the bureau will need 1.2 milllion part time employees to conduct the 2010 census and that every one of them will go through an FBI background check” and it gets printed as fact. Will that be the same background check that Van Jones went through?

I do not think that Van Jones had gotten a security clearance. I had a top secret with Q clearance. I took them 6 months just to do the check. Obama would not have even passed a background check because of his admitted cocaine use. It is an automatic disqualifier. I do not know if they make exceptions because he was elected president or not.
Nonmarxism is right – Wade Rathke, who founded ACORN, announced himself that ACORN has officially changed its name to “Community Organizations International”. Google ‘did ACORN change its name’ – you can see for yourself.

Got point. It seems the common link is Community Organizing. Why do we need that? I thought that was the job of the local politicians, neighborhoods and faith communities.

Write your Congressional representatives and tell them that! We know most of them are not listening, but keep telling them anyway. They’ll get the picture come election time.

These folks that were discharged were absolutely doing what they were trained to do. The investigation needs to climb the ladder. Any new employee or volunteer is required to go through training to work in that particular job. These ladies were not loose cannons. They were following the training they received. Their purpose was to generate income for the organization. Look for the training manuals or the content of the training they were given.
This is a corrupt criminal organization and must be banned from receiving ANY taxpayer funds. Texas ACORN requires all persons to attend training and methods of operation, I’m sure it’s the same nationally. Follow the cash, ACORN, SEIU, APOLLO, TIDES. I believe their goal is to use low income persons to do their dirty work while making themselves very wealthy. If, by chance, one of their minions gets caught, they simply say they were bad apples.

I believe that the 9/12 idea was a good concept; however one has to question, If it’s not about race or political gain at all then why now. Why not a year ago or even four years ago, when we were falling deeper into this hole that were in. Like I said it was a great thought but doing it now seems like more like a scare tactic against the black president (which by the way for most the pinheads out there he’s only half), and unfortunately no matter how many say their not racist there actions on this day are showing differently.
So you saw NO minorities at the taxpayers march? There are NO minorities who support this? And ALL MINORITIES SUPPORT OBAMA , Is that what your saying? According to a report on the Washington Post, the Census Director said there are 80,000 of these community groups they’ve enlisted to help out with the census. We really need to keep an eye on the census. If it’s bogus and congressional districts are re-drawn based on phony numbers the 2010 election is all over but the shouting.
Didn’t ACORN change its name to something else recently. I seem to recall that. My guess is that the emperor will use this “new” firm to carry on the ACORN traditions. Let’s make sure the ties are really severed folks.
