END TAX AND SPEND RALLY
Concerned Citizens of Forsyth County, in partnership with Americans for Prosperity, will host an “End Tax and Spend Rally” at the Forsyth County Courthouse in Cumming, GA on Saturday, September 12, 2009. In conjunction with thousands of other taxpayer rallies across the nation, the event will focus attention on Congress’ current tax and spend policies and urge elected officials to stop the hasty passage of controversial legislation.
The rally will kick-off at 1 p.m. with prominent citizens speaking about Cap and Trade legislation, Health Care Reform, and Defending the Constitution of the United States. Speakers include author, historian and WDUN radio personality Gordon Sawyer; State Senator Lee Hawkins; Michael Hogan, M.D.; State Representative Tom Graves; Virginia Galloway, State Director of Americans for Prosperity; former State Representative Mike Evans; and 9th District Congressional candidate Bill Stevens. We are having a March in Manchester NH & having a viewing party at a local establishment – Murphy’s Taproom that allows us to use their back room for our monthly 912 Meet Up’s since March! Just posted yesterday & already up to 24!
We have 50 new members in August alone! We are at over 260 in our chapter alone. We have been doing protests – going to Town Halls, having guest speakers & planning for 2010.
Our coordinator is running for Alderman & our Rochester Chapter has 2 people running for office & one is running for Mayor!

10 a.m. on Saturday, 9/12 at the Pompton Lakes Town Square (A&P) parking lot on Wanaque Avenue in Pompton Lakes, for a walk/stroll/march/shop around the Pompton Lakes Business District, the best little small business district in America and the world.
We’ll make the circuit around the business district starting at the Town Square Mall, along Wanaque Avenue to the Emmanuel Einstein Public Library, then cross over to the other side of Wanaque Avenue back to the Ringwood Avenue light (Thatcher McGee’s – one of only two thatcher roof inns in America) and back to the Town Square parking lot. We can make the circuit as many times as we like, shopping and waving signs until noon or until our feet drop, whichever comes first.
We’ll be sure to patronize the businesses along the way and show our support for capitalism, free enterprise, small business, and the all-American way! There’s plenty of parking in the A&P lot and in the business district parking lots behind the stores.
Bring your signs, American flags, and your all-American spirit. Let’s put Pompton Lakes on the map!

I realize the place to be on September 12th will be Washington, D.C. and a bus load of people from this locale are making the one day trip to show their support. But there are many of us who, for various reasons, cannot travel to the Capital.

On September 17, 1787, forty-two of the 55 delegates to the Constitutional Convention held their final meeting. Only one item of business occupied the agenda that day: to sign the Constitution of the United States of America.
The HOI9-12 Project is organizing a “We the People Protest” for everyone who is concerned that their rights and freedoms are in jeopardy. This is a peaceful, non partisan protest for voters to express their concerns and demand that our elected officials represent the principles and values of the constitution that we as Americans stand for. All who have concerns are welcome.
The protest will be held at the Peoria County Courthouse on Thursday, September 17th from noon to 2:00 in the courtyard. We will have speakers, music, and a huge copy of the constitution for anyone to sign.
This is going to be a huge event and we invite all of you to attend!!! Please pass the information on to as many people as you can.
