8/6 Is Stalin’s Ghost In The White House?

In a country that was built on, and for over 200 years has proudly supported every citizen’s right to disagree with it’s elected leaders, this posting on the White House website sounds more like something out of Stalinist Russia than the United States of America.
(From the White House Website… verbatin)
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
What to do? One of us has an interesting suggestion.

MY PLAN
Why don’t we all send this little “fishy” email to flag @ Whitehouse.gov?
The subject line just reads: Fishy disinformation
Then the text of the message just has this:
Q. Did you hear about the one-armed fisherman?
A. He caught a fish (holding out one-hand) this big.
If everyone opposed to health care sends this joke in, even if it doesn’t bring down their servers, it may annoy the stuff out of them.
Whaddyathink, citizens?
We could all time it to hit on the same day, say next Wednesday, the 12th. Give time to people to spread the word.
Let’s hoist them on their own petards! You want fish tales, we got fish tales. You want disinformation? We’ll give you dat information!
Any takers?
