The US and UN should request an impeachment proceeding of Zelaya in lieu of returning him to power. The Constitution of Honduras should be upheld by Zelaya and Micheletti.

What is the chance of Chaves and others going to war for that control? I can't get my arms around why Obama is embracing these thugs. Except that he always embraced low life scum bags? Perhaps wants to do what Bush didn't do? Wants to try something different, see if it works? Throws a little of everything at the wall to see what sticks? Basically our country has lost it's moral footing so leadership is a bit lost right now. How long have you been out of the country? Does Honduras have a strong moral fiber?

So why is Obama bothering to go to Russia? Why go to any foreign country and try to get them on his side? Your president just sided with a dictator, you realize that, right? The American people will never allow Obama to become their dictator. He should not have thrown Honduras under the bus; we have been trade partners for years. So Obama is becoming our dictator? Looks that way if he is not for democracy.

Chavez tells Honduras big trouble if they don't let Zelaya back! This is a big deal. Obama should not be siding with them. How do you spell EVIL? CHAVEZ. Venezuelans should of done what Hondurans are trying to do.

Marie, thank you for your post. I live in Honduras and since the events in Honduras started, I've been trying to pass the truth but with the exception of this forum and Glenn Beck, it has been an uphill climb. I am so glad you posted. Further down the screen, Hondurans and Americans have created an online petition to President Obama to reverse his stand in favor of Zelaya. Please find it below and go to it and see if you'd like to support the democracy of Honduras. There's several thousand signatures right now. If enough people speak up, maybe just maybe more countries will back the new interim govt in Honduras. Costa Rico is now against Zelay; good start.

Hi Glenn and Hi every one on here…. What happen in Honduras it is difficult to understand for most of Americans, coming from South America and knowing how delicate is keeping a democracy over there, I think no one country should say any thing about what happen…. The problem that Central and South America are facing has a name and that name is Hugo Chavez he is using his petrodollar power to shovel his own candidates in many countries there. His lunatic dream to become the Bolivar man in the region make him dangerous for all the nations there. The Hondura's politicians and the people in Honduras do not want an other Chavez in their country and the far left controlling again their life, they use their constitution and their Supreme Court to kick out an other Chavez follower.
And I support them. I'm from Peru and Chavez is doing what ever is in his hands to crack our government there. The last crisis that we face with the Amazon Indians was a perfect example of that… The media here do not make a connection between that problem and Chavez but if you made a little bit of news investigation… and ask the people in Peru about it you will find what is going on in the region…. WE ARE SICK AND TIRE OF CHAVEZ HE MUST GO. HE IS A PROBLEM IN THE REGION AND A PROBLEM TO USA.
Live the government of Honduras along they did the right thing. It is funny how Obama was so quick to make an statement about it … HE WAS DEAD WRONG.
