Now being well aware that many presidents in history, not just Obama, have taken upon itself to circumvent the process which is why the country is in the state it is. Unfortunately the public is uninformed in its ignorance and uneducated by design and with those factors in place, it has allowed those Egoist megalomaniacs to slowly corrupt the whole system. Luckily, the last 5 years or so have started to wake up that silent majority and now the groundswell is becoming apparent. So now the real question is if the politicians turn around and try to placate the groundswell, do we take the bribe and go back to sleep or do we stand for ourselves as citizens of America and continually try to get the government back to its constitutionally allowed level.

though again we are in total agreement getting Obama out is only a band aid in my belief. One thing that I find a big problem, in America, with its people, is that we fail to remember, or even more recently relative to teach, that though the president is the figurehead( i.e. media face) of this country, by the constitution, he has no authority to write or create laws. They are to be written in the house and voted on and passed then, moved to the senate and go through a debate on its merited constitutionality. Then be submitted to the president to review on its constitutionality as well, at which point the pres can either pass or veto it.
To audit the Fed will be like walking into a darkened kitchen on the gulfcoast and switching on the light, you'll see nothing but a bunch of roachs like Dodd and Franks running for cover!! Call an exterminating company before it's too late!
END THE FED
Should be the battle cry from americans .Most americans do not realize that the federal reserve is not a part of the us goverment .Guess who sits on the board of the federal reserve? Yes the chairman of general electric who owns msnbc, nbc get the picture ? How about this Cap and Trade and General Motors who get to profit most from this and green movement? You got it General Electric .All the others on the Fed reserve board are just as corrupt and in with Obama thugs .Oh yes they are all members of the Bilderbergers if you do not know what and who that is ?They are all about the New World Order and doing away with your constitution .Wake up americans no tea parties are going to stop this silent revolution taking palce and its almost over . only three things left to our enslavement .cap and trade, socialized health care and then the taxes. then america as we know it is finished .To bad americans are asleep.Imagine no more 4th of july celebrations I bet the celebration will be changed to nov 7th the day of the silent revolution and the comming of our dictator obama.
Don't you mean CZAR Obama ? He seems to Love that word since he Has soooo Many of Them! Isn't 26 Czars the Latest Count? I know All about the Bilderbergs, the NWO, the Illuminati, etc. They've been Diligently destroying US from "Within" for many many years now. The G-20 (same bunch) are coming to Pittsburgh in the Fall. They'll be meeting at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center and staying in the Elite Nemacolin Woodlands. Perhaps this would be a Great Place to Pass the TEA !

Call your Congressman and demand it's passage. It's our only hope of getting the audit process going.
I've called my Congressman, Senators, and Whitehouse to voice my support. We need everyone to do the same

I'm not holding my breath on this one -
I am not holding my breath on this audit going anywhere. Sadly, this is the first Fourth of July in my lifetime that makes me wonder how much longer will we have a USA to celebrate??? Obama, Frank, Boxer, Pelosi et al are doing everything they possibly can to run this country right into the ditch & we just sit back & go along for the ride!
"All problems, depressions, wars, disasters, assassinations, all of them were planned, caused, instigated, and implemented by the International Bankers and their attempt to establish a central bank in every country in the world, which they have now done, thanks to corrupt politicians who have been bought and paid for. This is all you need to know about the history of the world."

I WONDER IF THERE IS ANY GOLD LEFT AT FORT KNOX.

Barney Frank is one of the main sources of instability in our system. I doubt that he will EVER let this much-needed Bill get out of committee.
If EVER there was an outstanding argument for term limits, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd are it!!
This agency is not even a government entity. That should have been addressed years ago and we would not be in this current mess. But I am a realist and if the old adage absolute power corrupts absolutely hold true, they will never see an audit. I bet a listing of their "investments" would be a real eye opener. Too bad we will be kept in the dark on that one. We would be able to recapture our stolen retirement funds. Maybe barney Rubble and the messiah will throw us a few scraps when they finish stealing all the wealth in this country.
The government and the media have worked very hard to keep the citizens at odds with each other for decades. They have turned us into a nation of emotions instead of logic where we are taught that we cannot peaceably disagree anymore. IT has to be liberal vs. conservative, color vs. white, repub vs. demi, abortion vs. life, gay vs. straight, Carnivores vs. herbivores and so on and on. Pick any social issue and you will see Militancy promoted on both sides, forever split, forever divided.
continued in reply…
Divide and conquer, the oldest military action know to mankind. A nation divided shall fall.
They are well aware that reaching 50% + dependency would insure the end of the US and the end of the free human spirit which would allow your top riches families to dominate and enslave the world solely for their entertainment. Tell me if these names ring a bell J.P. Morgan, Rockefeller, Rothschild, Warburg, Kuhn Loeb & Company and more who have joined their ranks like Joe Kennedy, William Randolph Hearst and Roosevelt to name a few. To end it would create total chaos, opening up the way for any puppet dictator( Hitler, Stalin). To keep it creates total enslavement, look at any country on the news today who have suffered from the over printing of fiat money.
How do we as a nation make that transition without losing it all?

These people are absolutely brilliant. This whole system by design is a self sustaining entity. Because it went so long unchecked it has pretty much succeeded in its venture. In the 100 years of its existence only 2 presidents tried to take them on , 1 was killed within 10 days and the other they tried very hard to kill.__ But the question I pose is the one that really has to be considered. ____How do you get nearly 50% of the population to give up their entitlements? ____To get rid of the fed at this point would cause mass chaos, riots, and total anarchy. To allow it to stay in operation pretty much guarantees that they will own every inch of land in this country, if not most of the world. Which of course is the global dominion that the federal reserve was set up to accomplish. __continue in reply…
Mass chaos, riots, and total anarchy are coming anyway. It is just being forestalled with desperate quick fixes until Obama can get his private army (brown shirts) organized.
Though we are in total agreement on that, the question begs, how do we go about the resurrection of liberty without enforcing the same tyrannical options we are ourselves trying to remove ourselves from under. The powers that be will no doubt take the liberty to try to corrupt, or then, execute any and all political figures whosoever stand in their way. History has proven this. That is the history we must learn from so that we are not doomed to repeat.

After we audit the Fed, let's get ACORN!!!
Let me ask this:
Where in Article 1, Section 8, of the Constitution, does it say that the Fed has the power to print money? Only Congress has the power "…To coin money, regulate the value thereof…"
Where in the Constitution does it say anything about the Federal Reserve? Nowhere……
God bless Ron Paul! God save the Republic!!!
This was akin to declaring the US bankrupt and now the FED note is backed by nothing but our word to pay ?
It is not common sense for me to believe that any country is going to loan us billions without some kind of collateral. If the dollar is no longer backed by gold, then what is it backed by? I believe it became crude oil, and as long as the middle east was willing to sell oil in the markets using the dollar only, the FED could go on inflating and deflating our dollar to their benefit. I also believe that we won't drill in the US or ANWAR because that is our collateral promised to our debt holders, and why the EPA was created, to keep us out of these areas rich with crude oil .
Ever notice all these areas that have billions of gallons of crude are always on protected land?
Read "The Creature from Jekyll Island". It will explain everything regarding the FED. A warning though; It is thick and heavy, but not nearly as much as the truth it contains.
there is only 2 things in this world that truely has any value and that is 1) what one person can produce by their hand and 2) the land on which it is produced. Anything else only carries the intrinsic value that any one person is willing to pay. I do agree that our coasts and alaskan oil fields are kind of collateral but heres a thought I have– the government doesn't allow drilling because they don't wholly own the drills. I believe this whole global warming push is to get that process started and when they nationalize the oil industry you will see legislation that will allow drilling in the gulf , texas, the dakotas and alaska

I did read it,and believe this is all by design for a very long time.
The FED creates a bubble whith the intention to collaspe it. They do not lose a dime we do.They have a record of doing this, and make huge amounts of money through deflation then inflation of their fiat currency.
After the Brettonwoods agreement during the late 1940's we had a system, although an unconstitutional FED, that was backed by gold. The world agreed the dollar was to be the reserve currency of the world. Then the US got out of control with their deficits and foreign countries started calling in their loans in gold so much that Nixon shut the gold window so we would not lose all our gold reserves that were being removed from our country's vaults.
I believe the FED or any central bank is the crux of our problems dating back to our founding. Our founders believed if we ever let a central bank control our money,we would struggle to retain our freedoms if not lose them entirely.
IMO this private banking system is the very puppet stings controling our POTUS and congress. Huge amounts of money created out of thin air that contols business, politicians, domestic and foreign policies, all to keep the FED and politicians playing their game of control while the tax payer pays the bill.
they wont audit the Fed they CANT because they know we the people would toss the fed and ALL who run it out on thier rears…Just like they wont look into ACORN or The sweetheart deals from countrywide or heck ANYTHING… they are hiding hoping we dont do anything .. like a bug they hide in the dark feasting off OUR food.. congress operates in the dark and feast off OUR money.. what do YOU do with bugs?
God Bless this country and ALL who support her greatness
My initial thought was because the books are cooked so they won't release them. Now that I see why (below), that figures! Can that be changed? that Charter?
Yeah, like that's going to happen!!!
Audit it? Hell no shut it down. I remember being called a crazy conspiracy theorist for casting aspersions on the fed.
!))% shut it down, and shoot anyone that has ever profited from it when you know how it works. My God-and people were mad about Murdoff, sheash that was child's play by comparison!
I whole heartedly agree. It will be very painful to do this now but far more painful in the future if we don't. Ron Paul has some unusual beliefs though his fiscal ideas are pretty solid.
I remember all the training and briefings I had while in the military, particularly on ethics, and what punishment you will receive when you are caught and I saw some amazing things with commensurate punishment. The Fed, and Congress too, have faced little or no accountability for their flagrant abuse of power, for those doubters, prove to me abuse has not happened. How Barney Frank is re-elected is beyond me. His electorate has to know how much money he has cost them, and us. It will take putting the Dems out of power AND holding the Repub's feet to the fire to get accountability accounted for.
Nothing good will get by Ringling Bros.& Barney Frank's Circus until he's out of control, that isn't correct, he's already out of control. Until he is out of power, unless he loses the 2010 election he won't be out of power. Hmmm… Unless the Dems lose the 2010 elections, only if the Dems lose the majority. Find your candidates now and start supporting them, we can't afford to have 4, 6, or 8 years of Obama unchecked. We have seen in only a few months the long term havoc he has sewn and will reap from us unless he is stopped, or better yet rescinded .
Apologies to Ringling Bros, I couldn't resist.
I say audit them all, imprison the evil doers for their corruption and financial hijinx. If we humble taxpayers pulled even 1/100 of the bull these jerkwad, double talking, two faced, skirt chasing spawns of Satan tried, we would be sitting in a cell next to Madoff or Charles Manson!
Darn right I'll remember, this coming November! [and every November after that]
Isn't attempting to abolish the Fed what got J.F Kennedy popped? I would like to see that blathering toothless irresponsible social-st idiot barney Rubble solidly behind this effort.
And you see what happened to JFK
Seems Lincoln was popped for the same reason. Both relaeasing dollars backed by gold and silver.
Seems Lincoln was popped for the same reason. Both releasing dollars backed by gold and silver.
I don't think so. JFK had a Vietnamese President killed and that is what got him popped. JFK also had a mafioso girlfriend and had double crossed the big bosses in the teamsters. Both JFK and RFK were killed because they were playing both ends against the middle—although liberals all believe that the CIA did it–or that LBJ did it, or that even NIXON did it. Honestly—that is what libs really believe.
I don't know much about the Federal Reserve and can see a need for a national treasury and nation board of some kind to regulate commerce and gold supply/money printing. I don't think that congress is smart enough to do all of that, but they certainly should make it their business to oversee these things well. But our federal government has gone way too far—royally empowered ever since the civil war. Legislating anything and everything and 'regulating' everyone but themselves. They have loaded the urban areas, industrial centers, and port cities with their 'kind' and so the south, rural areas, and midwest will be forever under-represented and short changed, even in monetary matters. We are the bread basket of America and yet all we are left is crumbs.
I was a t a Tea Party yesterday in Indiana and even through pouring rain, we saw hundreds of people come out and speak up……a first for many! Our elected officials better take note of that—– when people will take a holiday afternoon and stand out in the rain to speak their collective minds, someone better pay attention. The cork is coming out the bottle and the bottle's been shook. Can anyone expect less than an explosion?
Executive Order 11110
Alan Greenspan, Federal Reserve Chairman from 1987 to 2006, was an early critic of fiat money arguing in his essay, Gold and Economic Freedom, that,
This is the shabby secret of the welfare statists' tirades against gold. Deficit spending is
simply a scheme for the confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the way of this insidious
process. It stands as a protector of property rights. If one grasps this, one has no difficulty
in understanding the statists' antagonism toward the gold standard.
I think we need to find who is NOT on board with the bill and lambaste those reps with phone calls when they return from their jaunt on our dime.

Thank you for the compliment. I just try to add to the discussion where I can. Understanding the problems we face is necessary in beginning to understand what will have to be done to fight and fix the problems we face. We have come to this battle a long time after it started to be waged. We have a lot of work ahead of us. This nation, and the world as a whole, have some seriously tough and trying times ahead. The things that will result from the battles we have yet to begin to wage, and the very battles themselves go beyond our immediate understanding with the possible implications for for what the future holds. One step at a time, we can get it done.
foot prints in the sand……
Audit the Fed, and when the corruption and malfeasance that's been going on for generations is finally open to the public, we can do the next logical thing — END THE FED!!!
Ron Paul, you are a much wiser man than most people have acknowleged. If you're not too tired from the last go-round, could you try another run at the presidency in 2012? Lemme know where I can send my campaign contributions.
The Fed, you mean the Star Chamber, The select group that controls OUR money. Gee where is the NY Crimes or the other members of TASS, after all they are so fast to betray other American secrets or to try to tear down our military, why aren't they all over this. Where are the "undisclosed" sources. Is it possible that the Fed, like the FBI under Hoover, are part of that untouchable class, like the Dems in congress. They live by different rules, I say open the books, lets see the skeltons and corruption, I also want to see the investments that the members of the Fed have. Again I ask where is TASS , particularly NY Crimes.

So, if Barney Frank is the clog in the system. We need to be the plunger. That is how one moves a turd, is it not?
Everybody grab your keyboards and Google earth, find a town in Barney's district, Google for newspapers in those towns (look for boroughs, counties, etc). Massachusetts residents, help us out here with the names of a few papers.
Get to the online versions of those papers. Submit the reasons why Barney should move this along. Barney is an easy target, but if we keep our input on message and instructive……………MAYBE we can convince his constituency to motivate Barney to move on the Fed audit.
This is where we need to help each other across district lines. We're not spending $$$ to buy a seat, we're assisting our fellow citizens in releasing themselves from the grip of a Representative who is NOT serving them.
Look at this as a mission to liberate Barney's district from tyranny.
To those of you traveling to DC, Via con Dios. Safe journey.
The chances of Farney Brank being removed from office is about as high as BH0 allowing excess to his birth certificate and college records. Just look at Massachuettes (sp) the liberal state.
Understood, but that doesn't mean that we can't start targeting some of our efforts into geographical areas where there are 'hearts & minds' to be educated.
Glenn made a point of saying that this is a peaceful revolution.
So as I see it, we pick and objective and begin the campaign.
If we sow the seeds of freedom in Barney's backyard, then we can move voters out of his camp and into independent, informed citizenry.
An uninformed voter in Barney's district is an unknowing collaborator. Look at the piece Glenn did in NY, polling people on the ideas and then revealed that they were actually in agreement with Glenn. This may be a task to be done by the people who are not financially able to get to a rally and are looking for the things they can do.
I don't feel like we should abandon our fellow citizens in that district just because Barney is their current rep.
So maybe they're stuck with Barney for now, but if they start to see that he is one of the biggest parts of the problem……..maybe they have the courage to vote him out in the future. We can not be discouraged in the short term.
Tremendous idea. The best I've seen, as to how we might do something EFFECTIVE and LEGAL. I only wish I'd thought of it..

I think they should be audit and punished for what they do.They are no different than we are except we had to work for a living and they steal for a living. That is why they do not want the TEN Commandments around they have broken all of them. They should have to pay their taxes they would come after me if I missed a year are four.If you can show me a politician that is not wealthy I would like to see him.I said once Washington is a toilet that really needs to be flushed.
Ever seen a shell game ? That is what will happen with the Fed's books. It will make the ACORN organization look like a hi-def T.V..
you got that right. I bet they have and have had for years two sets of books. One that has been cooked that they will show us if they ever are audited and the other set is probably at the Rothschilds estate somewhere over seas.
Lets just burn the damn thing to the ground!
another note. I reread your post, the FED does not receive tax dollars. They collect tax dollars in the form of interest paid for the loans they make to the government.
They have a thing called "bankers privledge" that hold them accountable to no one. They dont have to open the books because the charter was written that way in 1913.
watch my link on the other post to learn more.
Thanks for the correction. We never stop learning something new
I guess I really don't get the hubris in Washington. "The Fed" is a corporation – not a government entity. If other corporations have to open their books for audits, what on earth would make the Fed any different?
Audit their books – and while you're at it; audit ACORN as well.
Privately held corporations are not the subject of public audits. They can be audited summarily only by the Internal Revenue Service.
Publicly traded corporations are the subject of public audits…through the regulatory authority of the SEC…or through majority vote of the stockholders, if the by-laws of such corporation authorize it.
The hubris here is not in Washington…..it's in New York. The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is the most powerful of the 12 Regional Reserve Banks.
ACORN similarly….is a privately held corporation.
If you authorized the Federal Government to summarily audit privately held companies…not only would you be violating the 5th Amendment….you would be tying the rope into a noose….placing it over your head….and jumping off.
The Legislation required to audit the Fed is intricate….it must allow for the causation to audit such a privately held corporation….to be explicitly limited to that entity for some closely defined extraordinary reason.
No, ALL public companies that are governed by SEC laws are audited each year. The Fed is not a privately held company. A private company is not subject to the same regulations as public companies.
ACORN is a not-for-profit company that receives public tax payer dollars and as such is required to make its books available for audits so the tax payers know how their money is being spent.
The legislation to audit the Fed is not the bog deal. The heads in DC that would roll are the hold up. No one in government wants the people to know how badly we are being scre.wed.
I think this discussion, of all that I've seen so far in my brief time here is the most useful. I notice that Rahthrae has gone to some length to give a very cogent explanation of how the Fed does what it does in relation to the fractional reserve rate. People that are providing hard information on these posts should be thanked for taking the time to explain it.
Most people don't know about the reserve rate. Generally you get your first taste of that mechanism as an individual….or a small business when the Fed changes the reserve rate….and your bank calls your loan to meet the new rate.
I had the opportunity to view the wonders of that power and how it works in 1974….when they called my dad's business loan based on a reserve rate "adjustment"…and in the process bankrupted a successful business and foreclosed the collateral….our home.
But make no mistake the actions of the Fed touch each and every one of us on a daily and ongoing basis even if you do not experience direct economic impact such as I describe above….and Rahthrae's conclusions of what an audit would reveal are accurate, in my opinion….and I'm certain that you will find much agreement here with those conclusions.
But don't just listen to anyone else…as accurate as their account may be…READ the Act itself. It is available here:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/3930884/Federal-Reserve...
Too many of you continue to misunderstand the nature of this institution…some are citing that, in some way their tax dollars are involved, others are complaining that government needs to be transparent. None of these complaints are applicable to this discussion. The Fed is not the Federal Government….your tax dollars are not funding it….it is a privately held corporation this is providing those dollars against which you are taxed….and it is setting the policy that dictates what those dollars are worth.
Look any piece of currency in your pocket…and read what it says across the top…."Federal Reserve Note". Now go get a book….or visit a website ie http://www.banknotes.com and watch the history of the Federal Reserves hijacking of the wealth of the country written across the currency….over time. Each change in the currency….indicates a change in the policy of the Fed with regard to that currency. It's right in your hand….and the story has been written in the notes you've been exchanging.
Ask a grandparent if they can remember when you could walk into any bank in the country or the Treasury, for that matter with a United States Note in your hand….and walk out with a commensurate amount of gold….or silver depending on the denomination….and note your were holding.
In recent days, you've heard about sweeping legislation that is 1000's of pages long…this Act…this revolution against common sense…is a mere 24 pages. It's the legislative equivalent of Einstein's E=MC2….so eloquent in its brevity….and sweeping in its effect. Take the time, read it….leave a tab open for the reference material of your choice….dictionary.com, wikipedia…whatever. If you run into a word whose definition you don't know….look it up.
It's your responsibility to understand this, if you are going to demand audits….of what use are they to you if you are in no position to understand the results of those audits? Nor the mechanism that is the subject of your demands?
Alot of you will be directed to YouTube posts…"The Creature from Jekyll Island", I suspect. Wonderful film…G Edward Griffin…wow it's amazing to me that I find Mr. Griffin's name in the mainstream…you should check out other of his books and films off this subject. I suggest "World Without Cancer". Mr Griffin has been around a long time.
And one more thing…..Auditing the Fed is a powerful idea…but it is not a panacea. The Fed, egregious as it was from the beginning, was unleashed to realize the full abomination you see now when Nixon removed us completely from the gold standard….if there was any small check built into it….that removed it completely…and for good.
Well written!
I have posted links to U tube because face it, most people have the attention span of a five year old and directing them to read a long rambling explanation on the history of the FED would not gather much attention. There are many very good short videos that sum it up pretty well. I hope that some will see them and that will get the 'ol gears turning and they may then research on their own.
Knowledge truly is power and this knowledge if allowed to be lost to history anymore then it already has will be detrimental to the survival of us as a nation.
This whole FED thing really is to me one of the most important wrongs that we must make right. The future of my children is at stake and that is my motivation.
Thank You

I can hear Barney the Dinosaur now…"Not my fault"…"Blame Bush"…"No one wanted to audit the the Fed when Bush was in charge"…etc.
This crook from Mass (my state and not proud of it) even got down on one knee pleading and crying to Pelosi not to let the Republicans vote against the first stimulous bill.
Barney the Dinosaur, LOL….He does remind me of that irritating character in a lot of ways *~*
Bawney can't play the "Bush card" this time… Ron Paul's bill to audit the fed was first introduced back in the '80's and has been around off-and-on since then.
Hi, your the first person I've found in this site from Massachuetts. I was thinking I was alone. I'm not proud of our state either.
All Government should be held accountable!
Ron Paul has always been spot on with finacial conservativism, it's his other stances that bother me: 9/11 trutherism, isolationism. That's a shame, because if it weren't for those issues, I would've voted for him. – heckuvalot better than RINO McCain.
Ron Paul has NEVER said he believed in the 9/11 conspiracy, that is a lie. But, what is wrong with a real thorough investigation on what happened? How come no one in government was fired for letting that attack occur? We have level upon level of bureaucratic law enforcement agents and no one was fired or repremanded for it? As for isolationism, HE IS A FREE MARKET CAPITALIST! Just because he doesn't believe we should be running around the world spreading "so called democracy" he's not conservative??? Do some research on what REAL conservatism is. Thomas Jefferson and George Washington must be isolationists then.
Thank You Glenn Beck for all your hardwork! God Bless you and your family!
I know he works hard and needs vacation, but I hate it when he's away.
I need my Glenn fix for the day!!
Guess I'll have to watch the DVR'd one's from this week
God Bless Ron Paul! Although they tried to make him out to be crazy, he has been shown to be correct! Paul / Bachman 2012!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA AND A HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO ALL YOU FREEDOM LOVING PATRIOTS!
I am sooooo pleased this is gaining major steam in the congress. If you want this to pass, GET ON THE PHONE AND CALL YOUR CONGRESSMEN AND YOUR SENATORS! We must stop these progressives and our loss of property and liberty. And while you have them on the line tell them no to socialized medicine, cap and trade, and amnesty! LET THEM KNOW WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!
Does anyone know of any petitions out there that we can sign and send to Barney Frank? What about calling his
office? I encourage everyone to do something!
Again I say RON PAUL MY MODERN DAY HERO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree!! It is encouraging to know that we still have a few true patriots in D.C.
Check this out.
You can research this all day long. It is truth. It has been lost to time.

Interesting video.
The way I see it, there will be no audit of the Fed, Cap & Tax will pass and National Healthcare will be shoved down our throats. There are only a handful of honest politicians (if that many) in D.C. and they cannot stop the Obamassiah freight train. And while all this is taking place a group of fanatics (the other hand Glenn so often talks about) known as End22.com will try and keep Obama in office forever.
Boy oh boy did you hit a sore spot here with me!!!
The Fed needs to be abolished, not just audited.
Please folks, take a look at these links and you will learn why. Most people think the FED is a government run bank. It is not, the name Federal Reserve is just that, a name. It is a private bank that is robbing us blind. They are truly an evil entity and needs to go.
CHECK THESE OUT, it will not be a waste of time, I promise.
Our founding fathers understood the dangers of having a central bank. In fact Andrew Jackson's campaign slogan was "Jackson and NO Bank"
Thomas Jefferson also was opposed to a Central Bank. The last President we had that really challenged the Central Bank or Federal Reserve was JFK and we all know his fate. Some speculate that is why he was killed. I believe this too. Looks at my links or google "Rothschilds" or History of the FED to learn more.
Every American needs to know this history and the tale of why it's bad is obvious.

You are SO right! However, abolishing the Fed could prove to be almost impossible. It's been said that "where there's a will, there's a way", so perhaps we should all do some "brainstorming" here and see if we can come up with a way to do just that. Passing the bill to have the Fed audited will be a good start, because I'm sure the audit will find an unbelieveble amount of malfeasance and corruption. Once all of that is made public, it will be much easier to completely abolish the Federal Reserve.
Correct. An audit is where to start. I would not put it past the money changers to have two sets of books at the FED anyway. Just in case they were audited they show one set of books while the real one remains hidden.
Sure as God made grass green there is corruption and deception going on there.
We would have to reprint our money as Treasury issued notes instead of Fed issued notes.
This would be interest free and save us billions a year. The debt would pay itself off in time because of the savings.
You go Ron. Everyone thought how crazy Ron Paul was during the primaries, he wasn't crazy, just a step ahead
http://www.whywevoted.com
Seeing how BH0 is doing things so fast, dragging us far, far, far left, I now think Ron Paul really could , if given a chance really could shrink government like he campaigned, ya know, getting rid of the IRS, Fed. Res. etc. etc etc in very quick fashion. Maybe wishful thinking but I'll pray for it.
Anyway, I've asked that this Audit be done ASAP.
It's like Glen says-keep an eye on the left hand as that is moving quick while everyone sees the right. The Fed reserve has been running amuck for years. They are busy making money so we are going to have inflation that will pale to the 70ts. I already see things going up. A few months ago I was spending 65 dollars for groceries and now the same groceries cost 95 dollars. I pray that Ron Pall can open the Fed up to see what else they are doing. Good Luck Ron!!
This is one thing I don't get and It's clear that no one gets it.
The Fed is OURS. It's records should not only be clean (which … they aren't), and transparently open to the public at all times (which … they aren't), but they should be reported to their ownership (us) on a quarterly basis.
Massachusetts, you need to really get your public involved with the polling services. I don't think it is possible that you have that many incredibly retarded individuals in your state that Barney Frank stays in office. The guy is a first class wank and needs to get the hell out of our country. not out of office, out of our borders, and stay out.
Actually I hate to tell you this, but the FED is not ours.
THe Federal Reserve is NOT a government agency like the postal service or CIA.
It is a private central bank that is run by private investors for their own gain. Most people think that it is Federal but that is just the name.
Check this stuff out. It will then have blood shooting from your eyes. It gave me ulcers!!!

Ron Paul is one of the smartest men in Congress and it amazes me that Barney Frank is in charge of the banking commitee and he was the one in complete denial about Frannie and Freddie. Now that the $h*t hit the fan, he blames it on Bush, even though he is on tape saying he does not see a problem with Fannie and Freddie. How is he allowed to keep his job? I would really like to meet the people in his distirct that keep voting for him. Are they aware of the piece of scum they keep sending to Washington for representation?
The FED,the progressive movement, Fannie and Freddie, Acorn are all part of the same machine.
Well, you see, Barney is from Massachusetts. That alone should tell you why he keeps his job. It used to be that I had a certain resentment for the people of Massachusetts because of their long, consistent stand to the left. With the most recent senate seat taken as a result of the "election" in Minnesota, I'm beginning to have my doubts about them, too. That race should not have been even been close.
Every Tom Dick and Harry in Washington needs to be audited
Do any of them pay taxes??
What state does Tom Dick represent?
lol
We need to audit the FED and everyone else in congress too.
An audit of the Fed has been needed for years. Thank God Ron Paul had the guts to push for this.
what worries me is that with all the changes that are happening to our country, even if we vote most of the ones responcible for it out of office, can we change it back in time? by giving the Fed more power it will just make it harder to find out what they are really up to. and with barney frank just sitting on the bill, there is no reason to believe anything to stop them is going to happen anytime soon. we call, we write, and do any of us feel anyone in goverment is listening to us? most of us live in what is called the fly-over states. or as goverment likes to think the no body important lives there states. well we're are starting to think the they do now. we think and believe that there is really no one important left in DC. and it's time to get rid of them all before they get rid of this great nation we call home.
It's the Feds & their entourage , here let me name you a few crooks , mind you that if I'm gonna name all the crooks in Washington this page wont be enough but I'll give it a try .Mr Tax Cheat himself Timmy , Bawny Flank ef ef ef ef , Botox Pelosi , Rangel , Dodd , Reid , Conyers etc …Are these people gonna fix the economy ???????????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO .They are robbing us , it's like when the celebrities gets away with using drugs , if they buy it from the streets they will be caught but if a doctor prescribes it to them , it's legal . Same thing with the crooks in Washigton , if they rob a bank they will be arrested , but if they get " prescribed " checks they wont get caught , they can steal as much as $$$$$$$$$ they want , it's legal , cause it's " prescribed " $$$$$$$$$$$$ & the biggest crook of all time is Mr Obama , not only he's robbing our $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ he's also robbing Our Future – Our Freedom – Our Rights – Our Constitution – Our Economy – Our leadership of the Free World .
He's not spreading the wealth , he's spreading poverty .
I am very happy that Ron Paul is getting some good support for this. I would like to see the Fed get audited. Of course I would also like to see us go back to the gold standard. Then we wouldn't need the Fed at all.
Obama Failed Economy Policy: The White House again is upside down when it comes to solving the nation’s economic needs. The Fed is going to devalue the dollar and possibly outlaw an individual’s ownership of gold where they can revalue paper money.
According to Obama’s Council of Economic Advisors in March 2009 “The United States was on a gold standard throughout the Depression. Part of the explanation for why the Federal Reserve did so little to counter the financial panics and economic decline was that it was fighting to defend the gold standard and maintain the prevailing fixed exchange rate. In April 1933, Roosevelt temporarily suspended the convertibility to gold and let the dollar depreciate substantially.
When we went back on gold at the new higher price, large quantities of gold flowed into the U.S. Treasury from abroad. These gold inflows serendipitously continued throughout the mid-1930s, as political tensions mounted in Europe and investors sought the safety of U.S. assets.”
The Fed policies did not work in the 30’s and are not working now. Trade your paper money for GOLD then find a good hiding place for it.
Humm let me see, Are you really thinking they will ever open the books of the Fed? My god if the did the value of the dollar will drop like a rock. They have screwed us by electronically creating trillions and printing billions more, we should start see the result on a mass scale in about a year or two, You are seeing it effect on oil now.
What If.
What if the two Japanese that were caught in Italy trying to smuggle a $134.5 billion in United States bearer bonds into Switzerland, where in fact real. The US and Italy swapped them with fakes, Why you ask? well if a country was trying to dump them quietly so the US would not find out until after. If one country starts dumping American bonds all HECK will break loose. It will happen if not already.
Well thank god he has supporters. Lets just hope noone decides to strongarm everyone into leaving it as is
There is a GOD Praise the Lord Thank you Ron Paul
I think it would be a miracle if we got an audit of the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve is operating like the central bank of our country unconstitutionally. They set the reserve requirement ratio which is the amount of money and liquid assets that Federal Reserve System member banks must hold in cash or on deposit with the Federal Reserve System, usually a specified percentage of their demand deposits and time deposits. The amount of money generated by this fractional system is inversly multiplicative to the ratio percentage. So if the reserve rate is 1%, the ratio is 100, where for every 1 dollar the bank has in assets it will loan out 100 dollars. This creates a vast amount of liquidity in the system, but is still only backed by the initial 1 dollar.
U.S banks have been operating without meeting any reserve requirement for some time meaning they have been relying on the following: vault cash, dividing accounts into checking vs savings known as deposit reclassification, and/or asset backed securities to meet Federal reserve requirements which is to say they have no money. If any run on a bank occurs, it could cause not only it to collapse, but the entire system. The Fed has been not only completely aware, but is also completely complicit in this scheme, and our entire economic structure can collapse with a run on one bank if not for printing of money and added taxation to meet their overall requirements.
In a nutshell, our economy is held up by nothing. An audit would show how bad it is, possibly to the tune of well over 100 times our recorded debt. That is to say 11 trillion in debt has a systemic liquidity world wide of well over 1 quadrillion fiat or bank generated cash with no backing as the backing for it is merely promised debt. If even a minute amount of people began a run on banks, we would be looking at world financial apocalypse…quite literally.

Yes,
Fractional reserve lending is the problem.
The Federal Reserve is infact itself unconstitutional.
It needs to be abolished.

Excellent!!!
Many thanks for this. It's a very cogent distillation of a complicated matter. Of course, I agree with your conclusions and I suspect you may have spent much time in consideration….or banking and finance.
Either way I think it's very important that this institution be de-mystified. I believe that if knowledgeable people take the time to explain it….conclusions regarding the institution will become self-evident . If people believe that understanding is inaccessible….it tends to defeat them from the outset….or diffuse the impact of information that may come to light.
I'd be interested to know, since your reply to my Fed post yesterday under the Senators string was fairly general…what exact opinion that I offered….bothered you?
I'm guessing…but I suspect it was my assertion that the first two Banks were Constitutional. Truly…that is a matter of opinion. While I believe they were just inside the boundary…allow me to clarify….I did not agree with Hamilton…in that, nor in many of the opinions and conclusions offered in his Federalist Papers.
I believe Madison made a mistake chartering the Second Bank and I believe Madison came to regret it. My agreement resides with Jackson.
I believe Central Banking is just a bad idea…I think nearly anything can be crafted to be plausibly Constitutional….that doesn't make it right.
Anyway, I enjoyed your post here…I love it when people use language precisely and intelligently to explain complex things in simple terms. Thanks.
Thank you for the compliment. Yes, my reply to you yesterday was to your assertion that the first two versions of central banks were constitutional. The Sumpreme court had ruled even the first central bank version our country witnessed to be constitutional, but I disagree with their opinion in that ruling. The powers set forth in the Constitution were not meant to be given to, or shared with, private entities. They were detailed specifically, and for good reason. I contend our founding fathers were very aware of what a central bank was, as England had one, and their (central banks) genesis dates back a long time prior to the foundation of our nation. I further contend the only constitutional formation of a central bank would be one that only handles the duties and powers prescribed to our government in our Constitution, under the complete power of our government, and accountable to the people.

The are several reasons I have come to the conclusion of amount in my post. At the very least, systemically we are looking at 10 times recorded debt, but with the genesis of asset backed securities, many banks can claim ownership to the same assets. This makes them merely a conglomeration of assigned values with a multiplicity of leveraged liquidity inverse to the reserve rate requirement ratio for lending as is the practice of fractional reserve lending.
This has several banks using the same assets to lend based on the set reserve rate ratio making the generated liquidity exponential with regard to the actual assets backing them. This is the reason why the universal decline in housing had such a profound systemic effect because it is these mortgage guarantees that have themselves become assets so any decline in the asset value the mortgages are based on drastically effects the ratio of liquidity leveraged against the grouped asset backed securities.
Having said all that, my conclusions are only mine. I have occasionally said what I am in my posts as I do not want to convey a false impression as to whom or what I am. I am merely a very poor factory worker. I build boats. I have never had the money to even think of buying a single stock. I have absolutely no experience in banking and/or finance. I barely make ends meet. I am nobody. So please, never take what I say as fact. I merely try to add to the discussion the best I can, and encourage people to do the same.
Where are we heading right now if not a complete financial meltdown? I doubt we have seen the worst of it, all these actions the government is taking are just prolonging the inevitable. I procrastinate as much as the next guy, but when dealing with something like this it is best to get it over with and find the solution as quickly as possible.
Listen to me—-Not meant in a an authoritative way. But listen. Do you really believe Obama and the people behind Obama are that stupid? I do not. As a matter of fact I think they are brilliant! People this is THE PLAN! The fed created a economic boom, plus sub prime lending. Money was so easy to get that you could walk into any bank, claim any income and presto you could buy a half million dollar home. With an intrest only loan. Selling you on the idea that you can just pay the interest and in a few short years , sell and reap all those gains! Wow it is Bonanza! ( I did not do this by the way) But plenty bought it! Why, because a half million dollar home would be worth a million. That is what they sold, and I think many local bankers believed it! Besides they were getting closing costs and going to sell the loan anyways. The entire bubble was manufactured by the Fed. They have done it for years in the 20th century. And people think wow these poor banks are sitting on all this bad debt loans, they will never recoup their losses. PEOPLE there were no losses! The debt was created out of nothing to begin with! The losses were to the people that borrowed and now are losing everything. When the Economy contracts like it is right now. Things do not really go down in value, they just change hands.Who owns all this debt? The federal reserve bank, right? Your mortgage was FDIC insured. So instead of taking your money in intrest payments for money they created from nothing, They take everything you worked for your entire life! Welcome to America post 1913 and the wonder of fiat Money!

Bless that man for hanging in there when no one would listen. Sometimes it takes long suffering to achieve the goal. Endurance and stamina. I am grateful he stuck it out and stayed in when all must have been bleak. He never changed due to pressure or being alone in his solutions.
I think ANY government entity needs to exemplify openess and 'transparency' in all that they do. All policies, procedures, and books need to be examined by an independent agency (such as an IG). How can we possibly build trust and know that any quasi-government concern is not lining its own pockets unless we have a peek at their inner workings and handlings. To dodge oversight is a very dangerous precedent. No one is above the law, not even big shot bankers.
The Federal Reserve is NOT a government entity.
Check this out. Most Americans do not know the real truth, I promise you this is the truth.
Research it all day long and you will see it. I did. This topic is a real sore spot for me…….
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09NuAdKgqhI&an...
Thank you good video!
What is really scary here is that Ron Paul suggested this over 20 years ago and only now do others in congress feel it is a wise thing to do. I just wonder if they have a better idea than they admit to of just how bad a position our country is in financially and want to look good when the truth inevitably comes out. Any entity that has so much control over American Citizens should be subject to review and full disclosure to American citizens.
I wonder how you start a CLASS ACTION SUIT! oh, i forgot, you cant sue the federal government. hmmm, nice safety net, huh?
At this stage, I would welcome this promised transparent Obama organization to investigate someone, anyone. Anyone that is except a Republican or person that disagrees with the Supreme Leader (a title Obama will no doubt want since he saw he Iran leader have it.). We have seen endless coverups at this time – from Acorn voter registration fraud and unwillingness to share their books, to the sham SEIU Obama pals picketing AIG and the press calling it just normal citizens, to Charlie Rangel and Barney Frank getting away with everything, to Nancy Pelosi calling te CIA names and no one cares, to the obvious attempts of the Obama group to damage the first amenement free speech rights, to Obama dismantling GM and giving most of it to the UAW who voted for him. Like being trapped in the movie Goundhog Day, man, any change would be different and great.

Rep. Ron Paul has the right Idea that is starting to get a lot of backing from the House members, but, Barney Frank is the leader of the committee this action is moving in, and we all know Frank will never let this action move to fruitation, because Barney is one of the crookedist Representatives, of which there are many in the House.
Unless Nancy Pelosi decides to support this action, it isn't moving anywhere. I can't see her supporting anything that has merit!
This is exactly why these people need to be out of power in the House. They can control the legislative process.
i never really knew about Ron Paul, my Uncle (a very wise man) got me into him… the more i follow this guy, the more i like him.
damn right audit the Fed…. corruption is everywhere.
lets not forget the SEC, they stink of either corruption or complacency.
bet you the Treasury Dept are no boyscouts, with their NWO ties and their unreal power over world markets…
where is Giuliani, he is good at this sort of thing, make him, one of those czars BHO likes so much….
Go back on the gold standard and there is no reason for the fed.
Exactly .
I chose my avitar based on the gold standard!
Unfortunately we will never go back to the gold standard. Governments want to spend more money than they have, therefore they must be off a gold standard. The gold standard limits the amount of money they can spend.
I would like to recommend an EXCELLENT book on economics FOR KIDS (and adults).

Ron Paul still needs to get as much support of this bill as he can. By doing so he can prove to dingbats like Barney Frank that there is still common sense left in Washington, D.C. 245 cosponsors is over half of the House and I know that Rep. Paul will be able to get even more support for this proposal.
Just read this and it fits our current circumstances so well thought I would share. "You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom, What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody without first taking from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea they don't have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend is about the end of any nation.. You cannot multuply wealth by dividing it." Dr. Adrian Rogers, 1931
has anyone else noticed that the people who come off as the biggest crack pots seem to be hitting the nail on the head. (sorry Glenn) i'm starting to see what the Ron Paul phenomenon was all about. (sorry Ron, still not my guy). when it comes to many domestic matters, this guy gets it. but lets face the facts, it really does not matter how many cosponsors Ron Paul is able to muster up, with Barney Frank involved, you know this bill is going to the same place Michael Jackson is going….NEVER, NEVER LAND
I read Ron Paul's book and agreed with almost every word in it. But whenever I see Ron Paul appear on stage, his mannerisms, his tone, and his body language make me wince. He is to the GOP as Dennis Kucinich is to the DEMS. He might be right, but he makes too many people squirm examining truth.
Barney Franks and Michael Jackson. Hmmm. What a pair and what an analogy. And yes, the common ground there might be the believe in Never, Never Land.
This isn't on topic, but I'm just wondering how many people got to witness Obama's "mission accomplished" moment during his townhall meeting today? He actually said the porkulus bill has worked. Is he insane? Are liberals THAT stupid…..that he can say something so ridiculous and they'll believe it?
Yes….. To all of your questions.
No he is not stupid he knows what he is doing, he thinks we are all stupid. Did you hear Pelosi the other day when she was trying to ram through cap and tax, she kept repeating JOBS, JOBS, JOBS!!! They think we believe them ,maybe some do but they find key words that will keep us quiet so they can destroy America without to much opposition. They S–K!!
Yes, Yes and Yes!
the media will ignore it to no end.
I heard by the guy filling in for Glenn on his radio show today that John Stossel had a story he did on Canadian Healthcare that was to run today. Instead ABC decided to run a one hour special on Michael Jackson.
How nice huh?
Lets cover a dead guy instead of the real story in America right now. Where the hell are our priorities?
Well, after my husband said: Is he on TV again? and then we both shook our heads, I watched part of the townhall and found out that the stimulus "has done its job." I broke out in laughter. Let's face it, the Washington elite think the America people are idiots, so as idiots, why don't we vote their butts out in 2010 and 2012? Let's show our truly idiotic side and vote for other people; that'll chap them! Sad part of the town hall was 3 of the people were actually involved in Obama's campaign so I was proud of Helen Thomas calling out Gibbs on this.
From Fox Business…."Wall Street went on a selling spree Thursday afternoon as the markets were dragged down by collapsing commodities and a new report that showed the U.S. lost nearly half a million jobs last month"
And the Porkulus is working? Yeah right! Just Like Crap and Tax is all about Jobs. Just like Obamacare is about improving the econemy. Yeah Right.! And tomorrow, the good fairy will come and I will become 30 years younger with a six figure salary.
By the way, Micheal Jackson is still dead and his memorial will be at the Staples Center.
We now live in a parallel universe. Left is right, up is down, wrong is right etc etc. It's all spin!!! Today's news (propaganda) flaunts our jobless "recovery". Interesting to say the least.. Maybe people will be able to pay their mortgage with the optimism of the Obama commu-ist cabal? The US dollar more than well on its way to complete destruction (as planned).
liberalism = communism
And another thought I have is: is there anything beyond communism? Surely there is.
No, Obama is not insane. He is lying. But yes, liberals really are that stupid. They either believe it, or want very very much to believe it.
Every place I've ever worked at has had auditors.
Our state government even has its own internal auditors, as well as external auditors.
The concept of government agencies NOT already being audited is pretty scary to me.
Who the devil is letting people with access to the people's money work on "the honor system"?????
Need to stop the talking and start the AUDIT!!!
I'm not sure if that would be a good thing to find out how fu**ed we really are. But i would still like to know
I have to ask something The Fed is a private company right. I'm not sure but if it is why in the world would we as vested interest parties not insist that they be accountable and show there the money goes and why. Where would one write to do the most good to get this to happen.
The Fed is a privately held corporation. The shares are owned by the member banks…every commercial bank in the United States is a member bank. The banks own the Fed.
You own nothing, so necessarily…
In the operable theory that facilitates the Fed…YOU are not a vested, nor interested party. It is not so much where the money goes….but from where it comes and in what amount…that is the issue here.
The Fed, primarily….formulates monetary policy. Monetary policy is simply stated as the policy regarding the amount of money in the economy….in other words, the value of the currency factored against the amount of that currency in the economy leveraged against GDP and the hard assets of the issuing agency. That's an extreme over simplification….but generally correct.
But it's not that simple. The Fed has many tools at its disposal to manipulate that policy. It sets interest rates…that affects the value of capital and return on investment as well as the valuation of risk….it sets the reserve rate…that is directly proportional to the amount of available capital in the market…the reserve rate is the amount of actual cash a bank must have on hand against demand and certificates of deposits….and the amount in a the form of a percentage against actual deposits…that it may lend.
The Fed, further offers short term commercial paper to member banks…overnight loans…to facilitate balance sheet requirements against deposits in transition….against transactions or loans in process.
That's a real simple and extremely over generalized explanation….and that's just what they represent that they do….an in no way a complete picture of anything.
The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 is available here…http://www.scribd.com/doc/3930884/Federal-Reserve...
Read it…..if you want to know what it says….and why you have "no interest" in it as a matter of design.
Thank you I have read it the way it looks the banks own the Fed but the fed has power to make the banks do what they want by setting policy and the amount of money in circulation.
ABOLISH THE FED! ABOLISH THE FED! ABOLISH THE FED!
I was just wondering if the american voters such as us on The 912 all pool some dollars and get us lawyers to sue the fed or am I just thinking wrong? Why do we have to wait for a new election to start ousting the law makers that are ruining america.and taxing us to the poor house?
The Federal government cannot be sued unless it chooses to be sued. Sweet deal, huh?
Why the Fed will not be investigated,,,Pelosi,Obama,Franks,Reid, all of them both sides of the isle know an investigation will PROVE our government has SOLD US DOWN THE RIVER,,,notice they never use the term Recession,,,not even that,,,but folks,,,,they also NEVER use the word HYPER INFLATION,,,as everyone over the are of 21 knows EVERY recession as an INFLATION that follows,,there is NO expert that denies HYPERINFLATION is COMING,,,,if any HEALTH CARE,CAP and RADE ( Climiate whatever they even have to pc change the name in order to sell it,,,,,** it is still **it under any name,,),and yet the SCUM still lie and push for even MORE SPENDING,and TAXs,,,,,yet the administration and both sides are STILL more WORRIED about party lines ,,,I think right now,,,if America saw really just how bad our economy is,the dollar is falling badly,,,countries are now SELLING OFF any US Dollars,,,,for of all places,, CHINA,,BRAZIL DOLLAR,,,,,to Obama, BOTH parties would think Iran's protests would look like a walk in the park,,,,,what I worry about is if the FED was investigated by federal court order as it would take that as its a private company,,part of what was meant to be a "check and Balance",,,America would be so outraged at what was dicovered,,,could very easly be a spark that would take us past the 'tiping point,,,"

Thank God we have Ron Paul and one state in our Republic that is making wise decisions….Texas!
Right on bro!! To bad we are going to be invaded by liberals trying to avoid state taxes. I hope they can leave their liberal luggage at the border.
As far as an audit of the fed………it just ain't going to happen as long as the kids still have their hands in the cookie jar. Once they are ousted, we can find out just who stole how many of billions of our dollars. Then we can string them up (after a trial). They yell and scream about Madoff and Martha yet are even more sinister it what they have been doing.
Isn't this just great? A good idea that depends on Barney Frank to make it happen? When he** freezes over. It's back to the Advil for me.
…and they will take that away from you next.
Barney Franks rear end is so big, nobody has the muscle to get him off of it in order for the bill to move forward *~*
The Federal Reserve is a private banking system, and the Central Bank of the U.S. It will literally take an Act of Congress to get the books opened, and with the Dems firmly in control, it will only happen if they want it to.
"The whole process is unconstitutional. There is no legal authority to operate such a monetary system," Paul said in February, in a statement calling for Washington to "end the Fed." He introduced the Federal Reserve Transparency Act the following day.
This statement alone says a whole lot!!!
I just sent off an email to the house financial services committe with regards to getting this bill on the floor.
I went to
http://www.house.gov
Clicked on commitees and went to that committe
Thanks. I went to the Financial Services Committee site and e-mailed them with the suggestion of moving HR1207 to the House floor for voting.
By the way unless your one of barney franks constituents this is the only way I could find to get through to him.
If you have an address in MA or the correct zip code you can do it direct to him
Hey I did the some thing. Do you think it will do any good with barney franks? Oh will I'll get on do what I have to.
Hey I did the same thing. Do you think it will do any good with barney franks? Oh will I'll keep on do what I have to.
Mr. Paul is right. The feds need to be held accountable. Hopefully, this legislation will go through.
Thank you Ron Paul, for pushing this one! Is there also a provision to fully vet the General Accounting Office? What good is the audit if the BH0 will tell them to audit for his desired result, like the EPA topic of yesterday? Barney will need some more pushing to get this on the floor, but I think it can be done.
Way to go Rep. Ron Paul, Now let’s get Barney Frank off his A.., and get this moving if not him then add pressure to the Democratic leadership to move the bill along. ____
I think we should all be wrting and calling to Barney Frank to get off his dead a s s and get this bill on the floor
Honestly, do you think he cares. He is ALREADY back to his old behavior with the loan business! He is not one to listen to reason. He is one of the main reasons we should have term limits. The damage he has done by himself and with his buds on the hill should make him a roomate of Mr. Madoff for a couple of the years.
I believe he cares alot. He just believes in protecting the FED from audit.
Like almost every politician in government, he could care less what "We the People" think or want. They'll let us know what to think, what to eat, where to live and when to…poop. Until then, just shut up and pay more taxes!
"We the People" are coming, Bawney, and you and all your pals are dead meat! Judgement Day, 2010!
actually I think he spends alot of his time on his stomach
You don't seriously think that Barney Frank would ever do anything to improve our country, do you? There are two political types, One type wants a bigger, more centralized government, the other wants a more limited government. Barney Frank is of the first type. We'd better find another way, because Barney Frank is not about to twitch a finger to do anything that appears to be a desire from the right.
Well take it off before Obama gets to it
Excellent! LOL
I live in Massachusetts and although I am not in Barney Frank's district I believe he is not good for the people of his district or our state in general. He has a position of power and he clearly abuses it. We need to oust all career politicians even the "good ones" (if there are any). How can I help? Please let me know. I will find the information that you mentioned in your post. You are correct there is no good reason to assume that we cannot help educate people.
Printing treasury notes back by silver is what got JFK popped. He signed an executive order to the effect that went by the wayside after his assasination. It was back to FED notes after that.
Why?
I believe that too. That is what got him killed. His hatred of the FED. He understood like the founders did that they were evil and only out to take are money and enslave us under their debt.
Guess who the next President was that wanted to audit the FED, he also wanted to audit Fort Knox.
Ronald Reagan, and they tried to kill him too.
These people will stop at nothing to keep their bank. But they cant kill us all. We surround them.
You have a fine grasp of the root problem , "How do you destroy the parasite without killing the host?" As reasonable poeple we would search for the methods that wouldn't betray our values. It is most unfortunate that we allowed it to come this far at all.The obvious solution is to "Cut the head off of the Snake". {government}. But with that we must be willing to accept that the body will also die {the country}.Not a reasonable solution if you honor the sacrifices of the past . Who alive today can join together all the fragmented ideologies which have been so carfully crafted to divide..find Him/Her and you will know. I understand you and agree…pray we can find the truth before it's to late.
It is true that they can't kill us all ….but…they can control who rises into power…they understand completly that without a central leading force people cannot mobilize .How will we vote them out if they control the votes? just a thought.
Didn't they create the boom that caused the great depression as well? I'm certainly no expert on economics, politics, or monetary policy so my opinion is only that and probably grossly over simplified or uninformed. That being said, I don't thnk the federal reservce still has the power to stop a depression or stay in control during a depression. Right now America has a disease called debt addiction and americans are starting to figure that out. As the economy gets worse and worse more people will wake up to reality and become more responsibe.
At the same time our government seems to think more debt is the answer and a lot of attention is starting to be directed to the Federal Reserve. I won't disagree with you about the Federal Reserve / Big Government being in a position to take almost everything, I think that is a prettty accurate idea at this moment. I also see the Federal Reserve / Big Government in a position to lose everything though.
If we expose the Global Warming scam for what it is…
If we expose the politicians that are serving wall street for what they are and hold them accountable…
If we expose the Federal Reserve for what it really is and abolish it…
If we expose Obama's Un-American programs for what they really are and what they will do to this country…
If we expose Congress and the Executive Branch of government as the power hungry self-interested and crooked hypocrites they are….
If America can accomplish 2-3 of those five things then it will go along ways to restoring the repulic to what it was intended to be. I have a feeling that if 1 or 2 of those areas are achieved the rest will fall as well. They are all intertwined and related in many ways.
Birds of a feather……..
Gold has value, used to back the dollar. A commodity similar to crude, both come from the land.
I agree with you totally. Gold does have value and has in the past, and should now be, or if not atleast back our currency. But to refer to my statement even gold in the ground has to be mined and minted be fore it really has any intrinsic value. Therefore again the only thing of value is the labor that goes into the mining/ minting and the land the mine is on. If I had a ton of gold, unknown to me, under my land it, in and of itself, has no value. Until someone prospects, mines , mints and distributes it, it is just a natural metal, in its natural state in the ground.
Just a thought
