I think they are jealous of her because she is everything they aren't, true conservative.
Right. She not only talks the talk, but she walks the walk. And she has proven it over and over again.
Hell, to hear them talk, I would say she has more to worrry about with the old boys in the GOP.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE.
1. United States House of Representatives Democratic Seat
2. Unites States Senate Democratic Seat
Qualifications:
1. Experience as an Attorney. This will help you to lie or break campaign promises and get away with it
2. You don't have to read legislation. In fact, we won't even give you a chance to read it all. All you have to do is push passage of bills that Obama, Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi tell you to.
3. Be a good campaigner. But don't worry, we'll get ACORN to drum up a lot of votes. They can get people to vote and vote a lot, sometimes in more districts than they actually reside in.
4. Wordsmithing and rhetoric skills
5. Mathematics and economics skills desired, but don't use them to clarify things, use them to confuse and back off detractors or fool those you can fool into supporting our socialist programs. We don't want you to add up all the spending for the public. Keep them confused and keep saying that the stimulus hasn't all kicked in yet.
6. Ability to marginalize independents and republicans and ridicule their positions. Remember, they support hardworking people and independent business people that create a lot of jobs. The facts are that there are more unemployed and never employed and marginally employed people that we can appeal to and get ACORN to rile up and get and and vote for us. So let's promise them a free lunch and we'll get the votes. You must also be able to get these people to blame moderately rich people for all their problems.
7. Ability to make deals with the super rich and huge corporations, which we will control. Ties to major coporations and super rich people like George Soros and David Rockefeller and Jeff Immelt of GE are major plusses.
Contact David Rockefeller, Chairman of Friends of Bilderberg or George Soros immediately and we'll get you in.
CULTAR2, Great post, really enjoyed reading it.
Extra points if you have no soul, kick puppies/babies/kittens and are an all around Jerky McJerkface.
I would add:
Must be as ambitious as Lucifer.
9) Must be a sociopath.
10) Must be able to drink their body's weight in whiskey.
11) Must have read, understood, and be able to implement Olinsky's "Rules for Radicals".
LOL, Classic! Great post! You may want to add a position for President there:
Are you a Constitutional lawyer so that you can subvert the Constitution and remake into an empathic pile of trash?
Are you an unknown State Politician who has never passed any legislation?
Are you a first year Junior Senator who has never passed any legislation?
Do you have dubious Constitutional qualifications to the office of president?
Can you read from a teleprompter well?
DO have Marx-ist friends in high places.
Does your preacher scream hate speeches about America, but only when you are not there.
Number 8 Be smarter than the VOTERS.
Amazing how emboldened they have become in their shearing of their employer, isn't it.
BUZZZZZZ…….. Next sheeple please……….. BUZZZZZZZZZZZ
They are the elite political class they are for all intents and purposes above the law and now there is no way to stop them. Those of you who are depending on the system and midterm elections are going to get the same results as Iran if they allow us to have open and fair elections at all. This may to some sound alarmist but it was Beck who used the Sherlock Holmes quote, It is quite appropo at this juncture in the politics of this former free nation.
Most americans will sit back and let others carry the ball. When the problem hits them directly they complain, but its too late. I think before we get people to stand up there will be blood in our streets just like IRAN.
When you're a member of the D.C. elite, you can do just about anything you want. Am I the only one who wonders why none of the Kennedy's ever got a D.U.I.?
Why is it that time after time after time we hear about outrageous actions and behavior by politicians – and then they are re-elected? Time after time we hear them say on the news "be honest and trustworthy" and they never are? Time after time these public SERVANTS get special treatment and perks – all on our dime?
Throw Congress out!!
Amen! Don't mess with Texas
The crooks in Washington are smarter than WE THE PEOPLE.
We all know our government is corrupt and decadent. We all know nothing will be done by the decadent to interfere with a corrupt act. In fact the corrupt do everything they can to aid it. Our pointing it out is just frustrating and pointless. Calling does no good. They have bought off enough of their fellow corrupt to not have to worry.
Instead find people who are fighting the corruption and get on their side. Someone has tried to bring light on it. The person who reported on this needs to be supported. Contact the people who uncovered it. Ask for followup and keep asking. Let them know someone cares.
I agree with you, E. The problem with Congress is that it is one big, putrid, open sewer…..trying to find people who have been splashing around in that cesspool for a while and do not smell bad is like looking for a virgin at the Bunny Ranch. Do you think a New Contract with America would work? I am thinking that WE need to get candidates into the mix and drain the cesspool.
Funny how some minor sparring often reveals that folks are actually on the same page. I think it's kinda neat.
LOL, its true. I just think that we're so mad here, we go off like firecrackers sometimes.
Oh, I'm so mad at things myself! And depending on the topic, it really shows! When all that anger we have is properly channeled, we will take back our gov't, although it will take time, and likely be in little bites. This site sure saves my family from many of my mini-rants!
How many of you are going to the DC Tea Party on July 4th?
If you go…Make a tarred and feathered dummy, place a clowns mask on it's head, and say it's an idea of "the bad politician'.
But is there such a thing as a GOOD POLITICIAN? If so, I sure haven't seen one in quite some time!!
I would love to, but I am going to help my girlfriend with her business (she's an evil capitalist who enjoys oppressing the workers). We are DEFINITELY going to the 9/12 event in DC, though.
Maybe none have come on the radar yet.
Well, it does seem like new ones are showing up here all the time.
We should un-elect them before power has time to corrupt them.
I agree, I wasn't talking typical known RNC either, just conservative, NO RHINO- LIBERAL LIGHT!
What makes you think we are not calling, writing letters and standing on street corners with our protest signs. Its OK to chide folks into doing something other than vent here but please don't assume we are doing nothing. This whole Obama take over of the government has me so depressed my doctor has said my blood pressure is getting to high again. Reading all of these posts just get me upset all over again because I have been working so hard working the phone and writing my reps. as most of the others that post on this site.
Everyone here has well intentions, but are incorrect if you think Midterm elections will fix the problem. Judging by the bill blitzkrieg going on with Obama's new 'DON'T ASK, DON'T READ" policy, we won't survive till the midterms. A States Constitutional Convention is the only thing that can override what Congress is doing, and may preempt many of these new laws that no one knows about. We are one step behind Obama, and he knows it. That's why every time he makes a speech it is all doom and gloom unless we act immediately to fix a problem that they are creating.
Mid terms will be too late. By then every new govt program will be installed. That's just the way it is going to be unless the states get together and stop it. Right now we are bailing out the water, but Unibama and his cronies are already on the life raft giving us the finger.

I have given this much thought, and after saying that midterms are the only answer, I am left with only one reasonable answer. Heck Cliff, I'd vote for you. I mean no disrespect, but you couldn't do any worse than what is happening now in DC. :>D
You ain't never been to Argentina have you?
Amen
Hi Rahthrae, it is not a response directly to your post…no. As I recall this string began with the Senator's debatable conduct….so at this point, we're way off topic anyway.
It struck me as a thing I've heard much about over the last few weeks in the mass media then I saw it in your post: The Fed…when I have gone decades not hearing about it at all….I still find it interesting to see things show up routinely, in the mainstream…that at one time, my father was called a "nut" for talking about.
I do not consider it an attack. What kind of hypocrite would I have to be to urge people to think for themselves…then castigate them when they question what is clearly…as you point out…an opinion….my opinion.
If the critique here is that I present such a professional presentation that it may be confused with authority…I don't know how to respond to that.
The information presented regarding the charter of the First Bank in 1791…at Hamilton's urging: fact
The information presented regarding the non renewal of Congress in 1811: fact
The information presented regarding the 5 year lapse of the renewal of the Second Bank's Charter by Madison in 1816: fact
The information presented regarding the revocation of the Charter in 1833 by Andrew Jackson: fact
The information presented regarding Andrew Jackson's opposition to strong central government: fact
The information presented regarding Andrew Jackson as proponent of state's rights: fact
The conclusion that Jackson was motivated by these realities to revoke the Second Charter: opinion
The conclusion that it was this was the "seed corn of the War Between the States: opinion
But they are reasonable conclusions…based on the facts.
My estimation of the matter is based on history that I have studied beginning in middle school…progressing through high school and continuing in adult hood with individual study from various sources, such as books.
Andrew Jackson's role and motivation in the revocation of the Second Bank's charter is a matter of wide conjecture….my opinion is based on the historical context of what I've read of his words….and historic accounts from books I've read.
If I sound professional…I promise you…I am not. I am a humble small business owner. I am not an attorney, nor a teacher….nor a politician, nor do I have ambitions to be anything other than one who can take a set of facts…draw a conclusion and depend on the idea that I am right.
If you are going to consign truth to "authorities"….I wonder where that road ends. If you are not as eligible an authority as anyone else to find facts and adjudge reasonable conclusions…can we wonder why we are treated as ignorant sheep?
I do understand the difference between legal fact and opinion. I beg the point that my opinions are not my own…or as you say "not originated by me". This, in turn sounds significantly like a "legal fact"….when it is, in true fact your opinion of what I offer.
The Constitution, by necessity…cannot be the only consideration in judicial matters. The Constitution offers the basis for the laws that Congress enacts. Further a significant amount of the judicial opinions, especially early ones are based significantly on what is know as Common Law….which is derived from the English Code…which began with the Magna Carta.
I think what I'd offer is that while the considerations in judicial review of any legal matter are open to the precedent of the former application of that law….and the Legislative intent, as well as the well considered decision of the judge in jurisdiction….the ROLE of the judiciary is bound by the Constitution.
And finally….I did urge everyone to do their own thinking and seek their own conclusion to what I had offered in my opinion….then again in follow posts I re-iterated that.
Look, I love a lively conversation…and I like people that question….and at some point are willing to engage in some lively banter….in the final analysis, I've often learned much from people who disagree with me…or are willing to pick a point and press it….I'd hope that then, in turn, they have received benefit from me.
Thanks for taking the time…
I agree with you, but then again I always do. I get so down some days i want to give up, but then I think of my grandfather, Father and husband and many members of my family who fought in so many wars to keep freedom. That I can't give help. So ever day I am writing and call Washington. Maybe someday they will listen to the people. I am already working on 2010.
You hit the nail right on the head! WE need to get into government at all levels to stop this non-sense. A group of people who are fighting for Constitution, Liberty, and Free Enterprise can make a difference. WE can do this. The majority party has demonstrated that it is: 1) Incompetent; 2) Corrupt to the core; & 3) Evil (yes, when a ruling faction willingly injures the people, it is evil). The minority party has proven itself to be criminally incompetent (running John McCain? Signing on with the BHO party on legislation? Allowing itself to be bamboozled into becoming the minority party when it actually the majority party, spending money like drunk sailors, etc.) as well as being cowardly.
I am very much considering running for Congress. Anyone else feel the same way?
I really don't think it's just the democrats. When we realize that our system creates lawyers who learn to be legally evasive, legally dishonest and legally manipulative just to "win" and that is by design, you start to understand the problem.
Our entire Congress, Democrats and Republicans, is almost 100% corrupt. They have accapted that you have to do deals and bastardize and compromise legislation to get what you want for your backers and maybe, just maybe, your voters. If you vote party line you get placed on the right committees as a reward to perpetuate yourself. That is how it works.
This Congress is a disgrace. They don't read bills, they vote on things they know precious little about. They don't do their jobs. They are nothing short of an absolute digrace and most of them should be fired. But we the people, in general are far too naive, ignorant or apathetic to do anything about it. And if you do, you'll be crucified along with your children by these leftists demons just as Sarah Palin was.
Our congress no longer represents us, because they don't vote on the issues knowledgeably and responsibly. They tax us and don't represent us. That is the same beef that led us to write the declaration in the first place.
We are living on borrowed time right now, Old Marine. It makes me sick to think of the fine work our founding fathers did and the many soldiers that gave life and limb to stand up for our freedom. I look at the oversized replica of the Declaration i have proudly displayed in my dining room wall next to the portrait of the signing in Philadelphia. I look at all the signatures and feel a connection to these men as ai choke up knowing what is coming, having believed so fiercely in the words of that document and now seeing it torn to pieces by these evil people in office that don't have a shred of conscience left to uphold the sterling words of that document to grant each man the right to life liberty and the pursuit, not the guarantee of happiness.
This time, it's an inside job, and they are so smart and so subtle and have their moves planned out over time and spring each one so fast that they get their mission done, which is to destroy theis country and sell us out to the rest of the world so the elite wealthy of the world can control it.
This has happened in history before. The socialist rulers are financed and their wars are financed by the wealthy elite… both sides of wars are financed by the wealthy elite, as a matter of fact. Obama is a cruel hoax, and most of the people he surrounded himself with are part of the conspiracy to make us a totalitarian regime in disguise. They took advantage of the mass of people that hate moderately rich people to get them to vote, while ACORN riled them up and registered them to vote even multiple times.
This is a war going on in secret, only some of us know it, but not enough. It's like a foul in basketball when the ref is working for the other side. The only way to win is to not play the game.
Not enough people have the courage to refuse to pay taxes to a congress that won't listen, though. And that's the problem.
The American people, are, in general, ignorant, apathetic and spineless for the most part. We got fat dumb and happy and Obama and company took advantage of that so they are daring us to do something about it. He knows not enough will. he could say the sky is green and not enough people would argue.
I am so sick of hearing about Michael Jackson. He's dead, let's move on. There is way more important stuff happening, like gas and electricity about to double and triple, but no oone seems to be talking about except for Glenn.
uhhh…yeah….is it just me or can everyone else see the goose stepping nazism here ?? I'm thinking that this is exactly what BHO was talking about with his "Voluntary" service to the gestap…er uhh….community.
I put a reply on the comment section about obamas brown shirts it is be ing moderated ,YA thing ,DO NOT CRITIZE THE MESSIAH SIG HEIL OBAMA SIG HEIL
I hadn't seen that before. Chilling to say the list.
You are definitely not crazy. We need to get the career politicians out of Washington ASAP. We need to find out how to stop this kind of stuff. Obama wanted this and he's getting it. This is very scary stuff.
Jim Quinn (FM 104.7 in Pgh, XM 158, http://www.warroom.com) mentioned this last year and it doesn't surprise me one bit. What do all dictators or dictator wannabees do? If you said, "Foster a Youth Movement.", move to the front of the class. It's a perfect way to brainwash the skulls full of mush, who cannot discriminate from right or wrong, thanks to our dumbed-down idikation sistim. If you can control a nation's youth, you can control the country for many years.
BTW, can someone tell me how Dubyah was a fascist????
What are the standards? be able to lie and get away with it? be able to confuse the public with "facts". be able to use smoke and mirrors to justify all the spending? Sell your soul for a position on a committee to be able to pay back your backers? Vote party line to KEEP your position rather than vote your conscience? Accept a future position in the New World Order and sell out the American people? (that one only applies to the most senior people).

Do you really think or "betters" in Congress will actually have the same healthcare that we, the "unwashed masses" will have forced upon us? They will get the Rolls Royce of healthcare and will be be stuck with the equilivent of an '82 Le Car (yet we will be making payments for the Rolls). The people in AZ have the right idea – have the state legislatures put a barrier between the rapacious federal government and the people; if push comes to shove in a legal sense, take it to the Supreme Court.
Thank you for your service. I'm with you too! I live in Massachusetts and I have been trying to find a Tea Party in my area. I finally found one and I plan to attend. I have written to both Senators and my Representative but they are all in the tank for the current leadership so although it may be considered a waste of time I tell everyone I meet about the 912 project site and http://goooh.com I will actively work to educate everyone I meet about the candidates that are running in 2010 from my area. I work full time so I try to do what I can during my free time.
You are right on target!
I'm the same as you, and I'll venture to say everyone else here, we do what we can. That's why, I tell people to let us know if there are go canidates running. Then, and I know things are tough, if everyone could pitch in a dollar, to these canidates, it might help. Think about, $1.00 from 660,00 people, Overall, it might cost people a $100 (but it doesn't have to be shelled out all at once) for the election in 2010, but it may help to Save America.
Heck, I think anyone involved with the 912 Project could do a better job than the band of thieves in DC (a hive of scum and villainy). Hence, I think it is high time that WE begin to get involved and run for office at all levels of government.
Please forgive me as I am a simple grunt…..but if we repeal the XVI Amendment, will that essentially pull the plug on the Fed? I view both income tax (why not have a flat tax or a national sales tax on all new products sold at retail level?) and the Fed as evil. Andy Jackson and Thomas Jefferson were BOTH opposed to central banks because of the power of the banks. Jackson should have statues in every town for destroying the bank and freeing the people.
Semper Fi, Mac. When you're a Democrat, it's just different
Amen, brother!
Get involved with those of good character who are running against these bums. 2010 needs to be the year of the CLEAN SWEEP.
I agree with you wholeheartedly. We need to send these bums a message at the ballot box that they will NEVER forget. We need to take back Congress and fill it with, well, US. We can do a better job than these sons and daughters of privilege ever could. Maybe if they got into the real world and actually had to work for a living, perhaps they would be a little more careful with other people's money.
The average American spends more time researching a new vehicle than researching a candidate who has the potential of effecting their life's course for 2, 4, or 6 years. IMHO, those who are uninformed can do their country a BIG service by staying home on election day to watch the boob-tube.
"Social entrepreneurism" is a term which is too warm and fuzzy for me; perhaps it should be called "Cultural Marxism" instead? That's more appropriate.
First of all…thank you for your service.
In my mind…in my view, all the abuses of the Federal Government essentially can be distilled to one, central issue: States' rights.
If you look at the debate around the ratification of the Constitution, a significant amount of that debate and the resistance to the Union was the concern that the individual states would lose their autonomy, control of their individual economies….which were quite diverse, and be subject to laws which originated from afar.
It was the very issue that caused them to fight England, in the first place.
The Constitution was crafted to form a Federalist system of government, whereby the national authority for government was derived from the states' ceding a small amount of their authority to the Federal Government….in order to derive "a more perfect Union…and secure the blessings of Liberty".
I recounted the history of the Central Bank to show that this is not a contemporary issue alone. It is one that has been central to the founding of the Union and has persisted through each phase of the development of the country. From the beginning, the objection to the Central Bank was that, by nature, it violated the rights of the States and undermined their autonomy. Some argue, as within this string….that by virtue of that, the Central Bank concept, itself…is Unconstitutional. And it is a very valid argument. I've offered otherwise, simply because if you concede the Constitutionality of the First and Second Bank you create expediency in the argument against the Third….the Fed.
If you agree with that premise, then there is a triad of events that have delegitimized the current government.
1. The ratification of the 16th Amendment
2. Passing of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913
3. Ratification of the 17th Amendment
And you are absolutely correct, in my opinion, that one of these events is the ratification of the 16th Amendment. Prior to the ratification of the 16th Amendment the Federal Government was severely limited in revenue collection. As our Founders foresaw…providing a direct taxing authority to the Federal Government was necessary…but dangerous. They designed a system, whereby, a significant portion of the country's revenue came indirectly though the states, themselves….the 16th Amendment eliminated that check.
It is precisely why the Income Tax needed to be enacted by Amendment to the Constitution, as opposed to an Act of Congress. Were it an Act of Congress…States' could have brought suit in the Federal Courts to determine the Constitutionality of creating such authority…where the Constitution did not authorize it. Instead the Constitution and the debate surrounding it, specifically sought to LIMIT the direct taxing authority of the Federal Government.
There is still argument as to whether an Amendment to the Constitution can be made such that the intent and effect of its Articles can be materially altered through Amendment. But by nature….these questions cannot be answered in Courts…as the Constitution itself, supersedes the authority of Courts to determine such questions.
That, similarly may only be addressed by Amendment.
By re-instituting the Third Bank (The Fed), Congress essentially preceded that action (16th Amendment) with the mechanism to concentrate the revenue of that taxing authority in an institution that answered to no authority but it's own, thereby eliminating the States' ability to control the taxing authority (16th Amendment) or effect direct influence on the finances of the Union and the monetary policy from which that revenue was derived (The Fed). Traditionally, and rightly so…strict Federalists viewed the Central Bank as a concept alien to the American experiment….and nothing more than a club to beat opponents into submission….or remove the States' rights under the Constitution by circumventing them.
And finally, with the ratification of the 17th Amendment and the provision for the direct election of senators, the final blow to the concept of Federalism and the Constitution was dealt. Prior to that Amendment, the Senate was composed of 100 members….2 from each state and elected, not by the people, whose representation is secured in the House…but by the State House's themselves. The Senate was made the Upper Chamber and obtained equal representation for each state and provided that Senators answered to and acted for the States themselves their actions were answerable to the State House's…it is from the State House that they were elected….in order to ensure that the States themselves obtained representation and provided for the continuous. limited, balanced and checked flow of power from the states….to a legitimate Union of those states by such mechanism.
It was beautiful…a triumph of intellect and common sense…not perfect, at all…but glorious in its accomplishments and its premise. In three blindly fast, quick and successive and precise actions…the Constitution was used….to destroy itself. It was done so not by those that loved the Constitution…but by those that lusted power…not Liberty….not Justice.
We're all simple people here. I'm nobody. I'm very simple. I'm one man. I was taught that in order to worthy of freedom….you must be responsible for it. Necessarily if you feel that freedom and responsibility are inseparable…then you have no choice but to understand from where it springs. You must go out and meet that proactively and not consign it to others….nor remain in ignorance and wait for others to explain it to you….or become an interceding force between you….and it. If it is to be mine…then I must earn it and be worthy of it…through understanding and homage….and humility.
That's my service to the country….yours….well, I'm simply awed by yours. I understand that it is through service, such as yours….that mine results. Thank you.
The responsibility for defending the Republic lies not only with the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines, but also with John & Jane Q. Citizen. It's high time that EVERY American stops, looks, and listens to what the wizards of smart in DC are doing to us (I'm surprised the StimulusAid didn't include a big tube of KY Jelly for every taxpayer), our descedents, and our Republic.
I wholly agree with you regarding the XVI & XVII Amendments. If we work to have those repealed, we can begin to drain the swamp (or the bar scene from Star Wars, your pick), which is our Congress and deflate this bloated monster, which is our government.
From what I have read the bank was not qualified to get tarp money. It was done underhanded
You are 100 percent correct. The ones who voted for Obama will never admit they did. Most will not call or send letters to congress or white house. When our country turn the streets into pools of blood maybe we will wake up. Do you want to become the UNITED STATES OF ISLAM or would you like to keep the USA logo it is our choice people.
Why would he do that? Would you give up a job that lets you steal from the people? Resign is for honest folks.
I think we will have a revolution and our country will look like IRAN before we get the USA back.
Go for it, maybe the 912ers will help.
I agree, this is not anything new, this has been building since the 60's, they have been slowly educating and placing people in power. During the 70's these people were elected, look at when they came to office, particularly the Dems. They \”tried\” in 76 with Mr. Peanut, they figured they had a chancee, but there were too many \”old\” school Dems in, and they couldn't do it. When Reagan came to office, it put th brakes on, but they still had people being elected, then Slick Willy, and they thought they had made, but the American people woke up, and the Republicians gained control, but as time wore on, their spending started getting out of control, of course then came Bush and of course 9-11. This really scared the liberals, they saw America coming together and patriotism being reborn, and this scared them, if America came together, they couldn't advance their agenda using the tactics of race and class warfare, so they did everything they could to undermine Pres. Bush, and with TASS on their side they suceeded, but still the American people had some faith. The liberals brought BH0 on the scene in 2004, because he could read a teleprompt well, he was black, and the votes that will come with that, he was raised believing in s ocialism, so they started grooming him, and of course 2008. Now, all the pieces are in place, the old core of liberals are in place, a few new ones from 2006, an extreme liberal in the Palace, let the destruction begin, they want to change America into the America they want it to be, S ocialist. All the while maintaing and keepiing power. They have the power, and it is going to be hard to get them to relinguish that power, we may make some inroads, but it will take all Americans to get this power away from them. This take over has been planned and in affect for many years.
