BHO a tough Guy? Perhaps, as tough as Tofu!
Oh, he is a tough guy with a horrific agenda! Changing America to a country no one will recognize thanks to a bunch of worshipping morons! He told us what he was going to do and it appears he is going to do all he told us in his first year–God help us for what he hasn't told he will be doing the next three years before we can throw him out ot his adoring public, but the country will never be the same!
Adolf Hitler did the same thing in his book Mein Kamph and everyone said he will never do that, the same as admadinejad and the froot loops keep saying oh he is just doing that for Irainian internal political consumption. What will it take Jeruselem covered by a mushroom cloud before anyone beleives him? What is it going to take with BHO? Wiping out the congress during the mid term election every one that voted with him no exceptions. this is the only way to stop his agenda dead unless he deceides to declare a national state of emergency and suspend the elections then God help us.
I understand that most 912ers are conservative but I must say that I am astonished when people are surprised by Obama's abilities [or lack thereof].__SOME of us did look into his background and were not swept up in the whole 'HOPEY~CHANGEY' thing.__He had the thinnest resume of any past president. His long term associations indicated his far left ideology [either that or extraordinarily poor judgement in his choice of friends]__He NEVER actually RAN anything other than a class room and ACORN. Do we know how he paid for his Ivy League education? Is this a dazzling illustration of Affirmative Action run amok?__Watching his campaign events was creepy………..these were not educated voters but a bunch of 'sheeple' who were drinking the Koolaid .__He is pushing the most liberal agenda in our history, his spending is more than out of control and the dems in DC are aiding and abetting in an effort to maintain their power. Their arrogance when responding to us is stunning. ____Maybe the best form of protest is to simply STOP paying any more taxes, just cut the government's 'funding'.__
Start thinking now about where you want your bio-chip and tatoo to show your loyalty to the State. If you slowly remove freedoms noone notices until eventually those freedoms only exist in the past!
Don't blame me, I voted for the true American Hero!!
The protests in Iran are a golden opportunity served on a silver platter and our 'president' doesn't have a clue and wouldn't even know where to purchase one.
Aiding in the freeing of Iran could completely change the complexion of the region.
Removal of the radical Mullahs would loosen the choke hold Radical Islam has on the people. This could very well
mean the end of funding for Hamaas and Hezbolla and real peace in Israel and the entire Middle East. The nuclear threat from Iran could be abated.
How very sad that the Iranian pleas for help fall on deaf ears in the greatest country on earth.
Obama is an embarressment to the free world.
I pray for God's help.
He's tough? No… he is a laughingstock.
laughingstock ?
Havent they been out lawed because the put out too much CO2?
I think there may be a bill in development dealing with that soon!
The 'tough guy' has made a couple comments tonite on the health care issue….1. the 'stars' are aligned…(except the one that pays for all this) and…2. He has narrowed down the cost of this health care meglatross..1 or 2 trillion…I'm going to sleep better tonite knowing my president has figured out a way to spend another couple trillion…how 'bout you?
The History of Republican Support for Democracy in Iran all of this the work of Republican DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER 1953-1961
In 1953, the CIA and British intelligence orchestrated a coup d’etat that toppled the democratically elected government of Iran. The government of Mohammad Mossadegh. The aftershocks of the coup are still being felt.
The CIA and the British helped to undermine Mossadegh’s government through bribery, libel, and orchestrated riots. Agents posing as communists threatened religious leaders, while the US ambassador lied to the prime minister about alleged attacks on American nationals.
Some 300 people died in firefights in the streets of Tehran.
The crushing of Iran’s first democratic government ushered in more than two decades of dictatorship under the Shah,
And your point is?
At times when I see the signs in English I often wonder if the youth is trying to tell us they want to be like Iraq, but as we know that is not going to happen with our help. But I wonder if that is what they want.
Tough guys keep their word….Mr. Obama, your speeches are delivered impeccably, but you have yet to carry through on your promises to the American people, let alone the youth movement in Iran. Driving around here in Southern Illinois today…hmmm…I see roads, bridges, and schools in dire need of repair…where are all the jobs, and where is all that stimulus money…our county is at 11.4% unemployment, our state (Illinois) is cutting a multitude of social services to those who need it the most…the mentally impaired and elderly…hope your golf game Sunday (away from your family on Father's day)…gave you time to reflect on your 'toughness'…and keeping your word.
I'm having a terrible case of deja vu here. We have BO apologizing to the Muslim world from Cairo, and there is now rioting in the streets of Tehran over an election in which a certifiable loon has declared himself winner. And when an Iranian woman is shot down in the streets in Iran, our spineless leader, President "Jimmy" Obama, goes out for ice cream. I guess the only people the current "Jimmy" can stand up to, sort, of, are reporters who ask him about his smoking habits. How I miss Ronald Reagan.
First of all, neither of the candidates in the Iranian elections were really what I'd consider to be stand-up guys. Both had platforms and histories that we in the US would take issue with.
However, to sit back and watch human rights violations right before our eyes as a suppressed people cry out for freedom and support of any kind…well, that's just inhuman. They want freedom. So do we. They don't know real freedom. We do (or at least we DID, not too long ago).
Nearly everyone who has read extensively about the history of our nation's founding and the struggles of our forefathers toward independence feels compassion for these people. All they're asking for is a little support from the international community. And what do they get? Silence.
When Ronald Reagan spoke out against the Polish government, he didn't cower behind a too-long-delayed White House Press Conference that hardly anyone would ever see or read about. He interrupted prime time television broadcasts to announce to all of America–and the entire world–very clearly where America stood. Obama's attempts to speak out are delayed, calculated, and impotent. This is no leader. This is the presidential equivalent of a pop-music boy band created by expert marketing execs and a seemingly gifted PR staff. We (and the international community) deserve better.
Actions … NOT Words.
Obama is a powder puff princess of a president who better stop dropping his soap in the prison shower of our international community
Reset the teleprompter…ready…3-2-1-Go Mr. President.
First I want to thank ABC for subsidizing this evening’s message…Thank you!
Good evening my fellow Americans,
I come here tonight to advise the people of this great nation of a dire situation, cause by Bush, which is forming on the horizon. The problem facing this nation is so dire that I, as your President…need to move extremely quickly to affect the change you voted for and correct the course of our future. In an unprecedented example of bi-partisanship and cost saving initiative, I your President…hehe I am your President you know… will be sitting down with the Republican leadership over the Fourth of July weekend (since the Iranians said they will be enjoying the weekend with their citizens). We will be discussing my band-aid Czar and enjoying hot dogs, listening to CD’s…and…maybe play some hoops.
And he can close with……..I hereby resign as your president. Now that would make me happy!
Jerseygal, if Obama resigned, there would be dancing in the streets!
RE: Obama states there is a "significant question regarding the legitimacy" of the Iranian election.
Open Memo to Obama: Sir, there is a significant question regarding the legitimacy of your eligibility to hold the office of the Presidency; when will you present us with a VALID original birth certificate?
Along that same line of thought, I was aware that the higher-ups in ACORN were expanding their efforts to include conducting business in several foreign countries…. I just didn't realize that they'd made so much headway in Iran. Impressive.
Finally, he doesn't get all softballs from the press so he lies instead and makes it sound like he has been consistent but all he has done is showered the Muslim world with praise and knocked both Israel and the US. I hope people don't get distracted by this Iranian conflict when the real problem is both Universal Health Care and Cap and Tax (trade) bill this week.
Hey admin… Juat love the new censorshipof my words…You like the first ammendment? Have I been put on a watch list? Janet Napalotano pass my name to you?
For God's sake quit censoring my words!
He's strong! Like Charmin bathroom tissue!
Stop and think, everyone equates what happens in a foreign country with ours. Realize this they DO NOT HAVE OUR CONSTITUTION!!!!! That means no Bill of Rights. We always think of things this way, we can not help it because we know no other way. Live in a foreign country for awhile and you will see what I mean. Even England and Canada do not have our Bill of Rights, similar yes but not the same. We are the leaders of the free world and if we relinquish it, dictators will fill the void. We must be the shining light and beacon of hope for all peoples.
censorship what did a say that deserves censorship
The whole world our president is not tought. In fact, that was a piece of his campaign – he was going to negotiate and talk nice. That sure has not worked out very well.
First, President Obama is worried about rectifying a situation that occured thirty years ago?The kidnapping of Americans in Iran. Why doesn't he worry about the current government in Iran funding terrorist organizations that are killing our American soldiers now? What about Iran's nuclear ambitions to wipe out Isreal and the United States? Or I know, how about the total brutality and sensless killing of their own people? Just what does it take to get disinvited to the bbq?
Actually, I am surprised that a resolution hasn't been passed in congress apologizing for the Americans being in Iran in 1979.
What have I done or said to have every post screened?
Is anyone else noticing how many of the protesters signs are in English? Who are they trying to get a message to? Could it be a plea for some support?
I think so.
Even Carter knew enough not to make nice with people who do bad things — he boycotted the Olympics. Obama can't even bring himself to call off the July 4 weenie roast with the Iranian.
There is only one conclusion: Obama is weaker than Carter. Jimmy must be proud.
If you can't say that a government killing it's citizens is wrong, that doesn't leave much hope for us here in the US no does it? Obama doesn't seem to have any trouble throwing our country under the bus while he speaks in other countries, but he does seem to have a hard time pointing out their faults. Pick a side BO!
Makes you wonder what would happen if we had protests like those in the streets here…..would our people get shot too?…..wouldn't put it past him…
why do all my posts need to be reviewed?
well folks he did kill a fly!
Remember when obama said "Just words, just speeches". On foreign policy that's all he has, he's spineless, weak, and the Iranians and the rest of the world for that matter know it. Does any anybody care what obama condemns? Iran's government doesn't, North Korea's doesn't either.
Another thought, I suspect obama inwardly agrees with how Iran is controlling it's people, and given the opportunity or the right set of circumstances, obama would send in government thugs to do the same thing to us. The only difference is we the people wouldn't be armed with just rocks. But the obama admin. and his brown shirt thugs are trying to make that the case……
Tough guy? He cares more about his public image than anything else!
The President should have been in front of the camera when the protests started, stating he is firmly behind the Iranian people. He should have been in front of the camera immediately denouncing the violent acts of the regime against their own people, whom only wished to have a legitimate election. I expect anything else to be done with caution. Iran can create a lot more problems for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. They can, at anytime they wish, cause Israel more problems through Hezbollah and Hamas. People talk about how the various European leaders are issuing stronger statements than President Obama. They are good for that, just not much else. They will never have skin in that game. Where are they with Afghanistan, Iraq, Darfur, or N. Korea? I am not impressed by what they say. We had a proactive leader. He was denounced and branded as a cowboy so they didn't have to have much, if any, skin in the game. The fact Obama isn't following their example is fine with me. I expect our President to be cautious when it can effect the lives of our men and women in the military. Are the Europeans worried about our men and women whom are serving? I seriously doubt it.
What he needs to understand, if you win the hearts of the people you win the country. He does not have anything programmed into his teleprompter to cover this situation.
Video comparison: Obama on Iran vs. Reagan on Poland
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zt-RyUngNpQ
He had to see that video of Neda being shot to acknowledge that human rights violations were taking place? Sharia law and beheading of Americans don't count? And he dodged the direct question about Iran coming the July 4 events. I posted 2 or 3 days ago that his precious negotiations were all important, thus the reason for the hesitation and indecision, he does not wish to offend the side he will be negotiating with.
Are his negotiations going to end up giving Iran a few refineries, maybe an auto company or two? After all, the UAW only got 55%, so he can give them the gov't's (our) share as a token of friendship. Would not surprise me a bit.
(COPY / PASTE) And he dodged the direct question about Iran coming the July 4 events. (COPY / PASTE)
it was almost as if it was already on his teleprompter the way he dodged it… "Well, they can come if they want to"….. what kind os "BS" is that?
First Iranian official walks into any American Embassy and i'll show you the first "person" who should be held for that girl NEDA's death and for all the other murders.
And we will never know just how many people were beaten or killed or just plain disappeared in the night. Most of the American people and the world did not approve of his naive negotion strategy before this revolt, and they certainly won't now.
Good post Jerseygal.
Thank you.
Personally, Myself, I will NOT be watching the POTUS GlowBama/ ABC News "InfoMercial" Wed. nite in their attempt to sell the Welcare/HealthCare/Bailout Legislation to the Taxpayers !!!
Too bad that ABC News has become more of a LAPDOG for the Administration, rather than the WATCHDOG that they should be !!!
I guess ABC wants to take the banner from NBC!
What he was on TV dang, I missed it looks like my luck is still good.
I watched the infomercial, and I was surprised that the questions were very good…..however, all he did was spew his usual talking points….I didn't hear any real details about their "health plan". They will try to use Cap and Trade to pay for it.
I can't believe this is all he has said! It would have been nice if Obama had demanded the release of all U.S. citizens in Iran or at least demand they be allowed to use the phone to call thier family and let them know they are still alive! I have a family friend that went to Iran almost 2 months ago to visit his mother and his children have not been able to get a hold of him since the election. None of the phones are working and all Obama can say is we can still reach an agreement on a peaceful path? The man has no idea what he is doing.
im so impressed with this new powerful statement i don't know what to do with myself. if im this intimidated with this, yawn, i guess the supreme leader and akmadeenajab, probably Rocky & Bullwinkle too, are shaking in their boots…. from laughter.

Obama did not decline to answer what steps would be taken if Iran continued Murdering their peaceful protestors, he invited and stands by inviting Iranian Diplomats for the 4th of July festivities at the White House. He stands with the Mullahs.
No to Nationalized health care, No to Cap & Trade and NO to more stimulus money, revoke what is left and being wasted on Bigger Government!
He's gonna convince with hot dog diplomacy.
Great sense of humor TJwasright, he at least is now thinking about saying the are not invited. : )
Long ago I heard a business expression – that if you want to change people, you need a carrot and a stick. The stick is used to beat the bad people, and the carrot is the reward to the good people. And the idea over time is that people get the idea they don't like the stick much and become nice people going after the carrot. Well, this president has a carrot but no stick, so he will never be more than a 50% president at best. But I suppose one could argue that Bush had a stick but no carrot. Hmmm. What we really seem to lack here is a real leader it would seem. We could have gotten one from industry, but industry has now been taken over and folded, spindled and mutitlated and it hardly exists any more, except for the parts that were given to the labor unions.
The people of Iran are looking for a strong show of support from the Americans, specifically the president, which they are not getting so their revolution is almost sure to fail. It's really discouriging when a stronger response is comming out of France.
It is a sad day when the French are responding stronger than the US….We need some change NOW…before we become the laughingstock of the entire world!!!
too late we already are
Barrack Hussein Obama is doing a wonderful job laying down the iron-fist on the Iranian government. Now the Iranian people have the U.S. as a core moral backing. BHO really did motivate the Iranian to vote out the regime in his Cairo speech.
I don't know about an iron-fist, but I think he's said as much as he can. Any stronger and I feel it would just be rheotoric to appease the masses, and if O. is not able to back up such rhetoric with action, then it would actually make him look bad. Not sure if the Iranian ppl feel they have the U.S. as a moral backing. If we don't do more than just words, how will the Iranian ppl feel then?
Uh, yeah. Just like his "iron" rhetoric to N. Korea to stop firing rockets. Yep, tough talk will win the day!
Let me guess, you probably think national healthcare is a good idea too, right?
What "iron fist", disinviting them to the 4th of July picnic, yea, right. IF his speech in Cairo did inspire them, then he is like alot of tinpot leaders, like Hitler and Mussoleni(sp), do rah rah speeches, get people motivated, send them out to fight and die, and then remains silent, does give one word of encourage or support, in other words, complete lack of leadership. BH) is behind…..way the hell behind the demenostrators. His image is more important the men and women dying for freedom, that you are so keen on destroying with your support of BH0.
"A piece of spaghetti or a military unit can only be led from the front end."….George S. Patton
Well said by the General, but I think he fell a little short. I would include the world and most of all America.
Also America will not long tolerate a Fraud or a Fake and it looks like he is both.
Your eyes must be brown from so much BO crap !
"It is not too late for the Iranian government to recognize that there is a peaceful path that will lead to stability and legitimacy and prosperity for the Iranian people. We hope they take it."
Despite the fact that our president is Ivy League educated, it appears that he never took a course in globalization, anthropology or World Civilizations. He doesn't appear to understand that the Iranian government couldn't care less about a "peaceful path" and Ahmadinejad cares EVEN LESS about the people who are being murdered in the streets during the protests.
He also doesn't understand that Middle Easterners reject the traditional Western practices that lead to "stability and legitimacy and prosperity". It's like going into a friend's house and telling them they aren't cooking their lasagna right, and in order to have a tasty and satisfying dish they need to do it YOUR way.
Not only that, but clearly the US is neither stable nor prosperous right now, so how, exactly, does he expect those people to take us seriously? GOOD LORD MAN! You were educated in the Ivy League, use your brain!
What you say is sooooo true! My husband served in the middle east and says the mind-set is very different. I'm generalizing, but for the most part, the middle east does not value the same things in the same way as Westerners do. I'm not saying it's wrong (although, I feel some stuff is) but it's JUST DIFFERENT! In order to affect change, O. MUST understand this or he will get no where!
Can you imagine the trouble we would have been in if Obama the spineless had been in the WH when 9/11 happened. Oh, my bad! He probably would have set up a memorial to the hijackers! Or would have wanted to sit and had a seance with Osama!
Man!! That would have been one sickening apology tour!!!
probably would have run to offer the hijackers an attorney, apologized for arresting them, then sent them to Bermuda….
Something that has bugged me about Obama for a while and the article touched on it for a brief moment when he "borrowed language from History". It seems that alot of Obama's speeches have borrowed language. I think it was Sean Hannity a while ago had a video showing bits of Obama's speeches and the original speaker (JFK was one). The press has not made issue of it, except some of the foxnews folks and even then it was because he chose a phrase that he had mocked a republican for saying "fundamentals of the economy are sound", remember the whole debacle with McCain before the election? To me it seems like his speech writer has just been scanning the internet for nice sounding phrases.
I think Obama is a patsy and if he wouldn't know how to be tough (unless there were instructions on his teleprompter)
At least the press corps threw him some harder questions today. I'm not saying they are at any risk of becoming conservative or even real objective. It's just that three months ago they would not have even asked the question about Iran and how far he would let them go before he would not talk with the Iranian leadership. I think things might be somewhat turning on him and his socialist buddies.
Do the press corp still stand when he walks in?? (I don't watch him, I can't!!) If the press corp ever fails to stand when he enters the room, it will be a sign for sure!!!
More propoganda to shore up the falling poll numbers *yawn*
Just before the election in Iran,President Obama delivered a speech in Egypt inspiring the youth of the world by saying,"I want to particularlt say this to the young people of every faith,in every country-you,more than anyone, have the ability to remake the world".Then after the youth of Iran risk their lives after a bogus election, the response is we mustn't "meddle".It is dangerous to inspire giving false hope, then sit back and watch people die fighting for their freedom…..words mean things.
I'm glad you brought that up, because it's not what this guy says, it's what he does and he says a lot to distract us and then he does what he wants to do. His agenda is all that matters to him. Seek and conquor and lie when you have to.
You are correct…..the domestic things he has done and the things he has planned for the future, were planned long before the economic meltdown….this meltdown has been useful to him to instill fear in the people to think that the world will come to an end unless his plans come to fruition. The thing is,his plans will ironically make the economy worse……Alll i can figure is his goal is to put the country so far in debt so the result will have to be to seize most assets from the people thus making everyone have the same amount of wealth…..I know that may sound crazy but its the only conclusion i can come to.
Lets face it, Obama hasn't any Idea what to do, or say? He just stands behind the Tele-promter, reading a speach someone else wrote for him. I'm not sure if he comprehends what he is reading!
Obama is taking after Jimmy Earl Carter in his Indecisiveness. Of course, he don't want his kind to get mad at him!
We may be protesting in the streets in the very near future, for the Big Head to lay off of his money wasting programs!
I've seen jellyfish with more of a spine than Obama. The only people I think Obama will ever get tough on is US, the AMERICAN MIDDLE CLASS TAX PAYER. GOD HELP US!!!
He reminds me of my mom's dog. You pull up and it barks like a mad dog, at everyone!! Then as soon as you walk up, it turns over on its back and wants you to rub it's stomach!!!
This is O-Blame-a just covering his butt; he had great hopes of sitting down with Akmed Dinnerjacket.
well I guess all that is on hold for a week or two.
Hey Mr. Leader of the free world,,,, how about support when this all started, , God help us.
Former president Bill Clinton let polls dictate his decisions and helped "him feel our pain". Our current president takes polls to a whole new level…telling him who he should be from minute to minute and day to day. That may help explain why from day to day his views and opinions can vary sooo much.
Well, looking on the bright side, maybe it means we're (conservatives, 9/12ers) are being heard!!!! Yea!
You forgot George Soros.
Remember when Obama stated many times during his campaign that he does not pay any attention to "polls" … but now they are extremely important … so many lies that even my calculator can no longer register the numbers … and … remember … most of his administration is made up of Clinton clonies … but during his campaign … the Clinton administration was wrong wrong wrong … according to the great one … but then surrounds himself with these same people … simply amazing
wow he really stepped out on a limb. This president is a limp wristed phony baloney. he makes me so mad with his retorec all he cares about it a Government takeover of Healthcare, if he puts me out of work(i work for a blue cross blue shield , I want all my federal taxes I paid for the last 20 years i been working there and i want social security too. I dont pay the Government to put me out of work!!!
I like Blue cross blue shield. They have good customer service. I couldn't imagine ever getting treated as well by a government entity!
Who said President Panty-Waist is a tough guy? You must be off your frigging rocker if not that your tail is a few sandwichs short of a picnic making such a stupid statement.
You are welcome. How are things going in your neck of the woods?
Oh, I know!!! And Biden would be too busy explaining gaffes to do any real damage!
Fine, thanks, other than the cow in the pool.
No we will find out, it always comes out, the very sad part is that it make take years, and for some a life time.
You are right – eventually we will likely know. What I am saying is that accurate information about these atrocities is being kept from the world, so any action taken or avoided will be based on limited information.
LOL, you have that right Jerseygal. At least with loose lip Biden, there would be transparency in the WH, LOL.
Thanks – sometimes humor is the best medicine!
