  1. I hear they are going to send the USS Barack Obama to help as well, it is a garbage scow and the Acorn crew will throw garbage and platitudes at the N. Korean's.

Websters definition of Platitude: A platitude is a trite, meaningless, biased or prosaic statement that is presented as if it were significant and original.

The Obama administration has no shortage of garbage or platitudes so those N Korean's better just give up now.

Question: if i say that i was going to shoot someone on a specific date and time, show up and take the shot but miss, is that not 1st degree attempt murder?

If North Korea shoots a missle at Hawaii but misses, does the miss negate the attempt? If I was President, I would call Kim Jong and say if you fire a missleat us, we'll fire a missle at you and we won't miss, it's your move.

    Link didn't work.

But the NYT is perfectly ok with publishing news that endangers Americans.

my comment was in jest, but thank you for the correction. after almost 15 years of active duty as enlisted and officer, I hope I have my head on straight.

  5. yes yes! Proud Navy wife here of a sailor who served on the McCain when Operation Iraqi Freedom began, it's a bad ass ship. "Fortune Favors the Brave" coincedentally enough is the ship's motto. My husband still proudly serves on a forward deployed ship here in the Pacific, but I do find the coincedence in the ship and McCain's stance uncanny.
