Why are we questioning BO's religious belief now? We all knew his belief when we went to the voting booth. It’s a shame so many Americans are so gullible but that’s why we are where we are. Politicians will say anything to be elected and stay in office. There is a failure in the 2 party system we need more independents running for political office and term limits to turn this mess around.
BO is not a Muslim just because:
1. He was born in a Muslim country
2. He was educated in a Muslim country
3. His father was born in a Muslim country
4. His brother is a Muslim
5. He has a Muslim name
6. He thinks the U.S. is a Muslim country
7. He receives a Mr. “T” necklace from a Muslim dictator
8. He is speaking in a Muslim country and not Israel
9. He is allowing a Muslim country Iran to develop a nuke
10. He wanted to close a Muslim prison on his first day in office
dont forget about his first televised adress was to the muslims

But he has not stated WHY Islam is the fastest growing religion in Europe and the USA, it is because they are FLEEING their clerics, their leaders, their totalitarian regimes. Islam is 'growing' because men have 40 children and no one can leave once they are 'in' this religion. And our own stupid leaders have opened the flood gates to America from the Middle East—a move that they are SURELY going to eventually regret.
Ok folks……I'm a bit disturbed by someone who did a drive by thumbs down earlier by me saying…." that this is a disgrace to all who have fought & / or died for this Country". I would like to think that if you are so against what I said…..you'd at least have the decency to explain to me and the few others here, WHY you feel otherwise? And why you would give us thumbs down for posts you haven't read. You want to debate please do so, otherwise leave the judging of posts to people who are really concerned for this Country, and getting our Freedoms back. I'll be waiting for you to explain.

I hope everybody is now seeing Hussein for who he really is. I am sure most 9/12's knew this before the election but he managed to fool so many. Hopefully those that voted for our Muslim president are now seeing the truth. We are a nation that Christian Pilgrims colonized so they could worship God as they chose. Hussein needs a history lesson on how this country was founded.
What is the obligation of a person in the military who take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from enemies foreign and domestic, if the so-called President calls the US a Muslim nation?

You have to understand this point. Is he the American messiah or the Islamic messiah? I see this as well.

Most are passive. But more 30% are not. There are 1.5 billion Muslims in the world. Do the math. Passivism is merely a pleading. Not a show of courage. Americans can plead with no one. We must maintain our stance against tyranny and injustice. We must snuff out our enemy and make no apologies for it.

We are not a muslim nation that was founded under the Quran. We are a Christian Nation that was founded under Christian beliefs. Yes there are people of different faiths and religious beliefs that are living the boundaries of our Christian Nation but for the President of the United States of America to say that we are a Muslim Nation is so wrong and incorrect on so many levels I simple do not have the time to list them out.
I respect the office of the president but with constant degradation and insults to our country, the founding fathers of this great country is nothing more than insult to me and each and every person that believes we are a Christain Nation that allows and tolerates people from other countries to enter and live amongst us. To practice their religious faith without fear of reprisal and arrest. Maybe this are the liberties of Amercia he should be speaking about to those countrys that do not allow people of different faiths to practice.
One quick point his number are completely wrong as with another poster that said Muslim faith is the fastest growing religion in Amercia, the only place it is the fastest growing is in prison.
Real great and he wants to bring in die-hard combatants into them and increase the recruiting and conversion into radical Islam.

I suspect that Obama meant that the US is the largest country with a muslim population. Proportionally, it is not a predominantly muslim country, but we do have a growing muslim population – expecially converts to Islam.
If we were truly a Christian country, we would not be so anxious to go to war on the flimsiest of pretences.
To me, it just goes to show that community organizers can't count.

Yeah, and many of those Muslims had their cameras out and were celebrating the events of 9/11 in the streets. There are people celebrating the deaths of our own innocent citizens in our own country – people who don't even have to be here. They could be back home in the Middle East celebrating.
At the Pentagon, there really were entire Muslim families with their cameras out, laughing and smiling with the Pentagon burned. All over Northern Virginia, there were Muslim celebrations – complete with fireworks and firearms being fired into the air.
I really don't think it's a good idea to celebrate having people in this country who celebrate the destruction of it.
I think this is a disgrace to all of those who have fought &/or died for our Country.
I think you're right TJ. If you listen carefully, BO lets slip his true goals. I believe he is at the point of believing his plans are already completed, hense he speaks in the present tense. This belief could be an edge for those of us who hope to stop him before we really are the largest Muslim nation.
Yesterday all of us who are residents of the US learned we are a muslim country–this came as a hugh shock to me as the country has always been a Christian country built on Judeo-Christian values and that has been the case for over four hundred years. Have you all been using the Koran instead of the Bible ? Seems this was news to me as I thought the muslim religion was a small percentage–guess I never got the message we had changed religious values!

I think he meant to say that the USA is one of the largest countries in the world that has a muslim leader.
Obama will not be satisfied until we are fighting in the streets. I will be one of them if it comes to that. At 62 years old I will defend my country.

Okay, first off, it was directed toward everyone here. I did not see a single even vaguely complimentary reaction to the speech. It is all hate. Did you object when George Bush made a speech in Egypt? The "colonial" was out of line simply because we have had NO colonial aspirations in the middle east. Regarding the statements about governments, they were simply saying that no system of government should be forced on another people. It should be the peoples choice, and I agree wholeheartedly. He said at the outset that this speech in itsself wouldn't change anything, but it is a start. Someone has to make the first move. Its going to take action on our part, their part, and the Israelis part. If you feel you're in the dark, maybe its because you've turned off the light of reason.
