My take on this, is that all of this is positioning. Hard to find truth anywhere any more. What I mean by that is for terrorists to stay in business and have power, they must instill hatred of the US and Israel. So they will sound like a broken record no matter whom gets in. If we all live in peace, the terrorists have zero power and jobs. As for Obama, I think he is doing this since he can (sounds like a Bill Clinton book). With a name like Hussein, recently discovered AFTER his election and having a Muslim father (also recently discovered since we thought the man was an atheist) he can warm up to Muslims and perhaps win over 20% of the world and add them to their power base. What is missing here, is what is the right thing for anyone to do? Maybe the original mission was to protect the US and Israel – no longer interesting to Obama.

Yes, Mugwump we are going down, it's fortold in the end times. I'm not a Bible thumper and I don't attend church regularly, however I have studied the Bible a lot in my day and have listened to the thoughts of others on the book of Revolation. Nobody knows when the end will actually come, however, Christians will be heavily persecuted. All you can do is accept Christ, live his word, denounce evil and be happy that when the end finally gets here if you are still around that you will join him. Once again I'm not a religous zealot, just trying to make you feel better.

They have been and were always a great and honest allie of ours, providing us with much intelligence we need to survive the wars we are in. I do NOT believe he is eligible to be President, so it even galls me more when he goes abroad to make fools of us. Israel is the Country that should be making demands not Obama. Israel has already made sacrifices of land for the Muslims, only to have them be continually bombed and attacked. Let's take a step back and look at the big picture. Ever been to Cairo? I was there last year. Egypt is a very poverty-ridden country. Radical Muslim revolution is bubbling under the surface. Mubarik manages to barely keep a lid on it by throwing dissidents into jail. Egyptians are notorious for their torture tactics. We have very likely, over the years, had them help us with those sticky situations where we are unwilling to torture a dangerous character ourselves. We also need Egypt to help us keep a lid on the nasties in the MIddle East. Obama is making the speech in Egypt because he sees Egypt as a friend to the U.S., one of the few in the Muslin world. Tenuous friend, at best. The strategy stinks, is naive and dumb but there you have it.
How can you say that you trust our current president when every day he breaks yet another campaign promise he made or further shreds our constitution by taking more & more rights our constitution gives to the states and the people?
Christianity is loving & wholesome but not everyone who claims to be a Christian truly is one. The KKK makes claims to Christianity but I think quite a bit of their ideology conflicts with the teachings of Christ.
I wholeheartedly agree that no one should be wishing evil to happen to our president, V.P. or speaker of the house….impeachment for any of them may be something to wish for.
So, as a Christian I would say we need to hate the policies not the president…just as we are to hate the sin but not the sinner.

I can't blame Al Qaida for giving BH0 a hard way to go, after all they expected the brother Muslim to completely destroy America by now, although he is trying like H ell. I am proudly one of the majority of people who voted for Obama, and I am not seeing that he has done anything to shake my faith in his ability to make good on his promises and make this a better nation.

First of all, if you believe that nationalizing the mortgage, banking, health industry is making this a better nation, I would like you to explain please. How is it that millions of jobs are being lost since January 20th and now that the government has taken control of the automotive industry, it's own "czar" has decided which dealerships will close…even those who have been profitable for the automotive industry.

When I was in high school many people were convinced that the Russians were going to bomb us any day or time. Many built bomb shelters and stocked them with lots of food, water and fuel. Never happened.
I'm not sure what promises you think Obama made that he is not keeping considering the short time he has been in office and the promises he has kept so far as far as he has been able.
He is still working on closing Gitmo, despite the "not in my state" attitude of Congress towards resettling the detainees who were wrongfully held. He has ended the torture there. Congress pulled out the money to close Gitmo from the bill, and Obama is going to have to finance keeping that promise some other way.
He also kept the promise to reverse all the :"Executive Orders" that Bush signed in his last months.
No he hasn't put a Universal Health Plan into effect yet. Give him time!

Ok, I think I am done with this site. I used to enjoy reading the stories and posts, but this site has changed. There used to be a wide variety of people on here who I could agree or disagree with and exchange opinions, but now it seems like the site is mainly used by the religious right. A lot of people on here seem to follow conspiracies as well. I originally came here because I'm all about the Constitution, small government, federalism, less spending and taxing, and more freedom to be gained back by we the people. If I remember correctly, thats what the 9 principles and 12 values were mainly about and the purpose for this site as well. These stories and posts have become not only boring but predictable (and scary in some cases).

If we get behind this we can elect people that we can support and who will work to put the country back on the right track. Please try and read the book and check out the site. If we act quickly it can work. We need to get our government back to its basics. Repeal the 14th and 16th amendments for starters.

Please don't give up on this site. An open forum creates room for everyone's opinion to be aired and I hope that we never get to a place where we decide that free speech shouldn't be allowed. The thing is to listen, to learn, to check out the facts and make your own decision. I believe being all about the Constitution (as you mentioned) entails having an open mind and thankfully having the freedom of mind to listen and decide what is relevant. If we curtail ourselves to just "the Constitution, small government, federalism, less spending and taxing, and more freedom to be gained back by we the people" as talking points here, we will be excluding discussions about what is happening to our government and our freedoms and how we feel about it. It has to be a certainty that 2/3 of the people that voted for BO are Christians. It also has to be a certainty that those same people either knew somebody, or volunteered, or helped on 9-12. So, what baffles me about all of this, is why these people aren't out in the streets screaming and yelling at the top of their lungs for their candidate to keep his promises, to make their candidate quit dissing America, to make their candidate understand that this is a Christian Country, not muslim. Checked this out online, found it referenced in many places, and found only one dispute from Snopes, which claimed it was false, but offered no evidence of that either, other than they said *he did not at that time visit Saudi Arabia* (where he now is, without Michelle, one might note) They also stated that he is Christian and not Muslim…well that does not alter the fact that Muslim countries recognize him as Muslim as his father was Muslim, which made Barack Obama born a Muslim…The Muslims believe once a Muslim you are always a Muslim…so that sort of debunks Snopes shadowed claim that Obama is a Christian, that may well be so, but not according to the Muslims themselves! And, we did all see him bow to the waist to the King of Saudi, and he was "not" bending over to pick something up, as one hand was in the Kings and one hand was on his own knee… This email could be false, but I can find no evidence of that. What I do find interesting is how, he is now claiming to be of Muslim decent to ingratiate himself to the Muslim world, which he strongly denied during his campaign, as also evidenced when he had the Muslim garbed women removed from a photo op or it may have been from a video op, either one, he did not want them in the same picture with him…now if that is not denial of his Muslim link, I don't know what is…and now he is suddenly very proud of his Muslim heritage, he also is claiming America "is not" a Christian nation, and most recently stated, with all the Muslims in America we are one of the largest Muslim nations in the world….*HOW do you like that one?* Now Muslims seem more ready to accept him because of his Muslim birth…..WHO, and or WHAT, is leading this country down a sure path of destruction?

I was at Blockbusters on Saturday renting videos, and I was going along the wall and there was a video called "Obama". I told the men next to me that I wouldn't waste my time. We started talking about Obama.
These guys were Arabs, and I asked them why they thought Michele Obama headed home following her visit in France instead of traveling on to Saudi Arabia and Turkey with her husband.
They said she couldn't go to Saudi Arabia, Turkey or Iraq. I said "Laura Bush went to Saudia Arabia, Turkey, Dubai." They answered, "Obama is a Muslim, and by Muslim law, he would not be allowed to bring his wife into the countries that accept Sharia Law."
Just thought it was interesting that the Arabs at Blockbuster's accept the idea that we're being led by a Muslim who follows the Islamic creed.
They also said that's the reason he bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia .. It was a signal to the Muslim world.

I spent 20 months in Kuwait after the first Gulf War. I was working a contract cleaning the desert. My wife asked if she could come over. It was possible but I wouldn't bring her there. The Muslims treat their women like slaves. Its not a tourist spot.
I think Ezekiel 38 coincides with Revelations. I also think that most of the geographical locations referred to in the Bible are not always to be taken as land locations, but to be taken in a spiritual context. If the Bible was easy to understand, it would be easy to change.

If you study the history of our nation, it has always been founded on immigrants. The original immigrants who landed at Jamestown did not make any attempt to become AMERICANS along with the Natives. The stuck firmly to their language, their customs, their laws, and then imposed those laws on the Native. The Pilgrims did the same. Only the Quakers who founded Pennsylvania made an attempt to live with the Natives, but they still kept their own language and laws. But even the Quakers could not hold back the flood of immigrants from Europe who did not respect the culture or laws of the Natives and just wanted them off the land so they could have it for themselves.

I believe I have already signed a petition to see the original birth certificate. I was so wary of this during the campaign and wondered and wondered why the Clintons didn't push for absolute verification. I have seen the "travelers" version of this certificate but what I want to know is why he will not allow the original to be seen… clearing up any doubt (well at least enough to silence us a bit) as to his qualifications. I agree with you and no, we are not mentioned in Revelations. I believe that our country is the great experiment… lasting for only a blip in time. Terribly wrong for sure. And what's more frightening is that rasmussen polls show that around 36% of the US population still strongly support him. It scares me that Obama and his supporters seem to be trying to destroy America. Looks like he sees himself as a world leader, not as the leader of USA. He seems to be the best con-man ever as he sells us out, destroys our dollar and our constitution.
So much is happening since he got into office, that my head is swimming. We have no idea what is in the bills our "elected officials" signed without reading.Now he insists we must have Government health care.We cannot continue to spend money we do not have.
He is our "rock star" president and can do no wrong in the eyes of the liberal media. While he is having fun as president, America is in danger from every side.

I will be the first to admit, that when I defended BO for his statement that the United States was not a Christian Nation. and clarified the view with the statement that we were a nation of people united by a common morality; I probably took an unpopular stance. During the campaign he was careful to eliminate his middle name "Husein" , now he embraces it. He can't have it both ways. During the campaign he eliminated all references to his Muslim father and being raised in Indonesia. He can't have it both ways. Bringing this association should no longer be considered a racial attack.

A persons character has always mattered. If we tell the truth, be a person of our word, be the person at home we are in public, those who know us will know our character. If we lie, steal, cheat, tell half truths, smile in someones face and stab them in the back, those who know us will know our character. That's why a hand shake use to seal a deal, it meant something. Now you can't even stop on a road in your hometown to help someone in a stalled vehicle, they'll rob you blind and you'll be lucky to escape with your life.

You make a compelling argument, but there is one aspect of Our Current Presidents abilities that I feel is overlooked. He has proven over the last 24 months to be a master at saying one thing, then strategically and quietly switching his position or his alliances to fit the where the current winds of politics are blowing. In other polititians this was commonly know as "Flip – Flopping" for Barack Obama this was renamed "Strategic reallignment" He has continually been able to do this and have a huge portion of the population go along with it without a murmur. Starting with the Simple agreement he had with McCain regarding public / versus private funding. He gave his word on one thing, then re-alligned his position at a more strategic moment. I call that LYING and lack of character. Obama calls that a normal day at work.

I heard on the news that the obama administration will be more open about his muslim family members, and that obama plans to bring his muslim connections to their attention in his speech. Which is something that the American's couldn't ask during his campaign without being called racist.

When he is in France he talks about how arrogant Americans are (since they are well known for snubbing us), when dealing with China he praises their infrastructure and progressive industry (no matter most of the nation lives in filth and squalor afraid of their govt.), when he is in Israel he visits the Wailing Wall and wears his yamulke (though he wants to see Palestine holding Jerusalem), and when he heads to the Muslim nations he pontificates about his "muslim-ism" (though he claims to be a Christian). When he's with the black community he's black and back slapping with Rev. Wright, and when he's with the white community he's an educated son of a white mother. Will the real BO please stand up!

People like William Ayers and Ward Churchill have spent several decades quietly working to brainwash young people via "highly respected" schools like the University of Colorado. They use the academic podium to make reasonable (in their opinion) arguments to persuade young people that Christianity isn't cool; look at what Christians have done in the name of their religion: the Crusades, the Holocaust (even though Hitler was a cultist), and of course Vietnam. Academia (particularly big universities) is rife with these so-called free thinkers. What better training ground for their socialist agenda than a classroom of kids, many of whom in today's dumbed-down high schools haven't been taught to think for themselves? Liberals in general (not all) feel that they are vastly superior to the rest of the country because of their education, social status, and their ability to grasp issues like global warming. They have an enormous amount of contempt for anyone who doesn't buy into the party line of whatever social problem the group is focused on at the moment. If the Republicans had a brain in their head they would realize that it's going to take an enormous amount of public education about the founding fathers' intent when they crafted the Constitution. Conservatives need an army of people who have been trained in argumentative reasoning. We've lost the heart and soul of the American people because we do nothing but shout at each other anymore. No one ever wins converts by screaming at them, which is what bothers me about the tactics that Limbaugh, Hannity, & O'Reilly use. They all are very smart men who understand what the Democrats are doing, but they all talk over and bully anyone who attempts to argue a different view. Great posts here on Revelations…Obama, if he had any lasting 'Christian' principles that would give him cause to worry for America's future, would be going to Israel instead, and reassuring them of our continuing support of the chosen people of God. I have pretty much given up trying to understand prophesy…. and I know God has given it to us… but I think mostly to let us know that, in the end, there will be an end, and that He will be victorious.! I just learned the other day that "last times" actually refers to all time between the death of Christ and the Second Coming of Christ. In all reality, we each are living in our own version of "last times" as we only get one lifetime to get it right. We know this instinctively and, personally, I would prefer to skip "the big one". Anyway, always lots to learn in the Bible…. and lots of love back!
