Like most things that Obama is doing, it better be filibuster proof. Since no one who has not had a lobotomy (excludes the entire Democractic party) would vote for many of his proposals. The media is no better with Letterman once saying that Obama is so perfect you can only complain about lint on his suit. The television is saying some things that I dont think are very bright. I tried to turn up the brightness control on my televsion set but it didnt help (okay, that came from comedian Gallagher, of watermelon smashing fame). But thanks Galagher, a good description for the frustration and lack of truth on tv.
You know, the way the Demos are touting her reminds me of a parent trying to get their kid reinstated in school after being suspended. Pointing out all her good qualities and saying things like "Sotomayor would follow the law" "There's not one law for one race or another. There's not one law for one color or another. There's not one law for rich, a different one for poor. There's only one law." This is the student telling the principle everything they want to hear, how they will behave and follow the rules, respect the teachers, respect their authority. Tell them everything they want to hear, then when they get "IN" they revert back to their old way's!! And just be more clever about how they go about doing it.
I am from NY, and I will try to explain. You see NYS is a santuary state for dumba$$ liberal voters. We have lots of room because everyday Schumer and company drives out more industry, and then encourages those seeking a better life through welfare to come and breed.
The Republicans will not fight this. There is no fight left in the GOP as it currently stands. Any party that could seriously put McCain the waffler up as its main guy has nothing left in the tank. New blood in the GOP is the only answer. Sotomayor will breeze through. I would be amazed, albeit pleasantly, if anything else occurs.

This is just another ploy by the Obama regime to usurp the U.S.Constitution. By putting an activist judge on there that will do Obama's bidding in changing the Constitution to however he sees fit. I would not be surprised to see Obama at least try to get term limits done away with, becoming a dictator. Notice how well he likes Daniel Ortega, The Castro Brothers, and Hugo Chavez?
There is nothing White about Obama, his grandmother , who raised him was dying and he did'nt take any time for her. I think he did go to her funeral when he found time. If the white men Sotomayor refered to had character or backbone she would never be approved. However the Dems are yes men and the Republicans can't take the chance of being called racists, after all if you are white you are naturally racist. Not so for Sotomayor whose race gives her the ability to judge differently. She won't follow constitutional law she will judge on her upbringing. Much as she did the white firefighters who unfortunately did'nt help any miniorites study for the test for advancement that only one minority passed , thus the test was thrown out and the men who worked were judged by Sotomayor as ineligible. Oh yes, she should be a judge for life!
