  1. Dark Future! Add Obama's latest: Iran is allowed to have its own nuclear energy! Dark Future. Nuclear wars are now gauranteed! ONLY a miracle from God can stop it now. But I think he will let evil conspiring men AND women carry out their maliciousness so that his judgements which he will exercise upon them will be JUST!
Those who are casualties of what's coming? Blessed are all they that mourn for they shall be comforted. God has conquered death.

Want to get this MESS STOPPED???????????????

Rise up Americans, DEMAND Obama's True birth certificate.

If Enough of us demand it, we can make it happen.

  3. Byboozian says:

    I've got it figured out.

We tell Japan to remilatarize and allow them to develop their own nuclear weapons.

We get Australia in on the nuclear progam as well if they aren't already and sell them some of our long range missle technology.

We then tell Japan, Australia, and S. Korea – You guys deal with this yourselves as you see fit. This situation affects you directly and you should be able to manage it yourselves. If N. Korea attacks we will back you militarily.

This way we don't wast our time and money, our allies in the area are strengthened which will help if China goes wacko, and we don't look like the world bully telling everyone what to do.

  4. hannahsdad says:

Can we send all of those nut jobs that protest all conservative issues here in America to N.K. to protest there Nuclear proliferation? I bet that they would not get the protections they get in this great country!! The liberals in this country think a dialogue will win & make our enemies love us. Worng they want us destroyed period. Reagan was right when he stood up to the Soviet Union. We all know what happened next.

  5. KingdomNow says:

I refuse to consider North Korea as a serious threat to the United States. It is my belief that North Korea is just a puppet state that the Chinese use to make the US spend billions of dollars putting the military on alert, flying observation missions and getting all worked up over their tiny nuclear experiments.

The Chinese don't want war in Asia but they have taken a page out of the Ronald Reagan playbook and are forcing the United States to react to the N. Korean sideshow, knowing that our government is straining economically and they hold a significant amount of our debt.

I suggest you all try not to get distracted by the sideshow and keep an eye on what the Chinese say and do over the next few years.

    • 1Mississippi says:

China owns a large part of this country now. Why would they want us to go under?Unless it is to take us over economically instead of militarily. If we go into a depression, which I feel coming on, China loses a customer base and thier investments in our debt become worthless. Still trying to figure this one out.

"North Korea’s Nuclear Program Is A Sign Of A Dark Future"

The ideas and policies of the current administration are a
guaranteed "sign of a dark future" for America. It's so sad.
I fear what's happening to the United States through this
president and his supporters far more than North Korea.

    • 1Mississippi says:

First, i fear obama would not respond(militarily) to a nuclear or conventional strike into S. Korea from N. Korea. Second, Obama is killing the US economy by bailing out/ running US companies. Third NOWHERE in the US Constitution is anything Obama is doing allowed! PLEESE people, read the constitution and DEMAND that we return to it. Otherwise, we are lost as a country.

My recent conclusion: the future doesn't matter to progressives; the past doesn't matter to progressives; the present doesn't matter to progressives, therefore whatever happens doesn't matter to them- only their agenda. I have noticed the steady increase in the schoolastic community of the concept of dates not mattering. Here's the thing- if dates don't matter than neither does time. What better way to find Utopia than by erasing time? Time! It is everything we have been, are, and what we will be as long as we are alive. Time! It is all you have, and it is what you trade for money. Time is how you measure doing what you don't like to do, but isn't it interesting how fast time flies when you are doing what you like to do? If time didn't register with your conscious mind, then you would be unconscious, and your subconscious would rule your life. God, specifically lays out the concept of time for us with a very understandable number which shows how important time is, and how much can be achieved. God, created the whole world in six days and on the seventh day he rested.
Could be why many progressives don't celebrate birthdays, and why common sense is fading. A sense of time is a fundamental precursor to common sense!

North Korea is a very difficult problem; several Presidents have struggled with it. The situation is not without precedence however; President Regan was able to orchestrate the re-unification of East and West Germany into a vibrant democracy. We should study what was done there and try to apply it to the Korean peninsula.

  13. RobertCA says:

Nutjobs can't have & we should not allow them to have any Nuclear capacity , Nutjobs are all over in countries like : N. Korea – Pakistan – Iran – Syria – India – Venezuela – etc ……
When Syria started to build a Nuclear plant with the help of N.Korea & Iran , Israel conducted an Air Strike & destroyed the facility in Sep of 2007 & what did the Syrians do ? NOTHING , they didnt even fire one shot . Thank You Israel .
Now Mr Obama thinks , that if he apologies & cry by saying he was only 3 years old & shaking hands with AntiAmericans with that big smile on his face & going after the CIA , the Nutjobs will change their mind & stop their Nuclear activity , of course Mr Obama is wrong .
These people wont stop their evil ambitions , someone & somehow should put a stop to them , the US – Nato – UN – the Pope anybody , these Nutjobs should be destroyed today before tomorrow , time is running out .

    • MDgal24 says:

Somehow I don't think Japan and South Korea are going to wait much longer.

      • RobertCA says:

I hope you're right , but the problem is our Mr Obama , he clearly send a message to israel not to attack Iran & in case Israel does attack , Obama is not gonna back up Israel , he was clear about that .
Same thing goes to N. Korea , Mr Obama don't wanna back anyone who attacks N.Korea , so without the back up of the US , I dont think anyone will do something about it .
We are the most powerful nation in this world & we are the Leaders of the free world & Mr Obama is ruin that .

  14. RobynTaylor says:

North Korea has always been a threat not only to the United States but to other parts of the world as well. Including it's own people. A nuclear threat is a scarey thought for everyone that loves freedom and life.

  15. Vvajk says:

Obviously N. Korea has no fear of the USA right now. They know we are focused so much on our economic troubles, that these missile tests are just background noise to many Americans, including Obama. Iran knows this too. I'm afraid we are only going to see bolder and bolder moves by these guys, as we watch, wide eyed and impotent. The rest of the world has relied on American military might for too long, so they are all sitting around on their hands waiting for America to do something about it. With the current situation in Washington though, it just might not happen.

Sadly, in my opinion, it's going to fall to Israel if anything's to be done about Iran. And I'm not sure who can do anything about N. Korea. Can you imagine the USA going to war with N. Korea under Obama? I just don't see it. He'll prefer that they develop nukes.

  16. Eric_LHC_AZ says:

Does the administration actually think North Korea shouldn't have a nuclear weapon? As for that matter, how about Iran or any other country that wants one? In the liberal/progressive mindset it is unfair that the U.S. is a nuclear power while others are not. The administration would rather bring us down to their level, similar to bringing the wealthy down to the level of the poor. But since that isn't happening quickly enough the other alternative is to allow military equality by shared technology.

  17. Jerseygal says:

Well, talk is cheap. He still has not announced that he is willing to ramp up defense spending, reversing the missile defense cuts he seems so proud of. PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH.

  18. TomUSAFRet says:

Under any other president, it would be a dark future indeed – for North Korea. Just one Trident Submarine could turn all of N. Korea into a giant, glow-in-the-dark parking lot. But with Obama in office, I can see an attack on U.S. forces met with a comment like, "Come on, Kim, can't we just have a meaningful dialogue here?"

  19. mwb1951 says:

There is another element to remember here. Kim Il is not going to last much longer. There are people in his regime jockeying for position. When there is conflict behind the scenes, unless we have a horse in that race (and wouldn't it be nice to find we are working behind the scenes to help some moderate North Korean take power but that's an impossible dream), no amount of talk from us, China, et al, will make any difference.
What we need to do is work behind the scenes to get China, Russia, et al to look the other way while we use bombs to take out the N.Korean's nuclear facilities. Those countries know we will be doing them a favor and privately condone it but publicly criticize it. No big deal. The problem? The Obama administration's lack of strength, lack of relationship with these countries. This administatration is perceived as weak. Perception is truth. Bottom line? Although much CAN be done, nothing WILL be done.

  20. SusanE says:

There is no future with Obama in office. There will be only the elites and you will be their minions to do their grunt work, cooking and cleaning Enjoy where all you folks that pulled obama lever took this country. How sad.

  21. SusanE says:

I have a question that is not related to the N.Korean missles. Old Marine, you being a vet best can answer this for me or another vet with this answer will do. My sister just told me that injured vets coming back from combat have to pay for the medical up keep for their injuries after the hospitals have so called cured them( for lack of another discription) Can anyone with knowledge give me a straight up answer? Thank you.

    • gsteinbacher says:

I can not answer for every situation but I do know quite a few vets that get a monthly disability check from the military based on their injury and they also receive hospital care. Myself being a retired vet I have automatic 80% coverage through Tricare and if I choose to do so I can pay a minimal annual fee to get that upgraded to a complete health care package (which I do) My dad was a WWII vet and he was able to get his health care from the Veterans hospital. Don't know if that answers your question but I hope it helps

  22. mpg8 says:

Let's see. We cut our defense budget. Our recruiters can't meet their quotas (even though unemployment is at double digits in some places) so it seems we don't have the backbone to fight. Our commander-in-chief is a retard. I bet they have this information too. I also bet they aren't the least bit afraid of us. They probably watch Gates and laugh louder than we do!

  23. Jared says:

Obama handling this in a typically political way is not what surprises me. We all know that North Korea and China are close allies. We all also know that China is the largest holder of our debt and should they decide to collect our economy then would make our economy now look like a worldwide version of the "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous". What surprises me, and where the Obama Administration is going wrong is the decrease or total erasing of funding for missle defense and other programs that could mute North Korea's progress. I will fall back to a popular quote and say "The best offense is a good defense". I dont believe North Korea should go unchecked but if they are going to continue violating International law then it would just make no sense not to have a defense that would protect us from anything they could do. That is precisely what Obama is not doing. On one hand I am not surprised that he is handling this very diplomatically but Obama is making an enormous mistake by cutting our funding to defend such a threat.

    • smokestewie says:

Can we just gather up our Activist Extremists and export them to North Korea and China (especially the Super-Greenies?) Maybe then they will appreciate what they have here in the USA.

You all need to understand bho has a plan. His plan regarding NK is to get the American people in a state of fear and anxiety. (You know……… a crisis is not to be wasted) He wants us to be affraid. He wants us to NEED him to save us. He wants his sheeple to just trust him………… the self appointed messiah. It's all part of his (or whoever is pulling his strings) plan for a one world order. I am not a practicing 'DOOMS-DAYER". However, this entire planet is getting very ugly, very quickly. Anyone with any level of common sense can clearly see that. Prepare the best you can. And PRAY………….. DAILY!!!

  31. JansKid says:

President Bush looked at the "axis of evil" and saw 5 nations causing the most trouble in the world: N. Korea, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Syria.

Despite the difficulty, he chose to CONFRONT evil and has turned TWO of those five rogue nations into fledgling democracies, liberating millions of oppressed people in the process.

So it has been very interesting to listen to Obama excoriate Bush as a "failure" while he sits back – afraid to do anything and allows Kim Jong Il – his version of Saddam Hussein – to walk all over him.

    I want Bush back.

He spent less and wasn't afraid to let the military do its job.

    • Minewas47 says:

President Bush was but a fart in a hurricane compared to Obama, however they both have betrayed the people by racking up debt we can never pay back. If you are going to bring back anybody I'll point you in the direction of Reagan, Jefferson, or Washington.

      • RNHunter says:

Some wisdom from both of you. The real issue that bothers me is the measurement ruler so much of the media and the people use to grade our leaders. This got to me one night while watching Jay Leno who was posing the question of whom was the best president, and he suggested Jimmy Carter, the person I would likely pick for the worst – for ineptitude with the Iran hostage crisis, North Korea, and the economy. And it was Jimmy Carter that won the Nobel Peace prize. It sort of makes one wonder what the media, Nobel Prize group, and people are thinking, since my thinking is more like the two of you.

      • gsteinbacher says:

Three dead guys or one live one wow you don't leave much of a choice

      • JansKid says:

        "A fart in a hurricane"?

It took Obama 100 days to prove that statement isn't true.

He's a used car salesman. Literally and figuratively.

    • ISEEU says:

Do you know while Rome was preoccupied with trying to conquer countries to it's south, it fell to barbarians and corruption?

      • JansKid says:

Rome didn't have a fleet of nuclear powered aircraft carriers & submarines, a massive globally based Air Force and arsenal of intercontinental ballistic missiles at their disposal to back up their ground forces.

They also didn't have NATO allies who also have forces ready to strike any member nation that is attacked.

The U.N. had plenty of chances to "talk sense" to Saddam in Iraq.

NATO soldiers are – and always have been – the best peacekeepers.

If the enemy has arms, then the peacekeepers assigned to keep order need the ability to defend themselves. Otherwise they're just additional victims, NOT peacekeepers.

  32. JansKid says:

President Bush looke at the "axis of evil" and save 5 nations causing the most trouble in the world: N. Korea, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Syria.

It must be realy nice to not have anything to concern yourself with except "date night"….I wish I could be so nonchalant about all the crap that's going on in the world……maybe they should invite Kim Jong Il and Ahmedidejad to the White House's Wednesday night parties….feed 'em some really expensive steak, let them listen to some professional musical group, and rub elbows with various Hollywood celebrities….thad would surely make them back down…..ah, that's the life…..

    • MDgal24 says:

Didn't you know? The Obamination blamed it on Bush and the media lapped it up and went on with its' adoration of the supercouple.

    • DMN says:

It's a good thing Obama had a date night scheduled so he didn't have to worry about something as trivial as nuclear warfare. For Heaven's sake, he couldn't break a date with his wife!

    • MikeinIdaho says:

It's all part of his total narcissitic complex. After all, who's more important to "The One" than "The One"?
Let's hope that when the bombs start falling he's still number one in the enemy's eyes!

  35. TXTJ says:

When Kim Jong Il shot off his rocket, my son (early 20's) said that he felt that Jong Il was using the media as free advertisment and had already made deals. Proof of his current abilities would be broadcast around the world-and it was. Now he will move forward, he has the mindset that he is the master. My question is could he have EMP abilities? Seeing as I need to study more on EMP issues, this seemed like a good place to start for information. I know tests have been done and studies correlated but is this the "dark future" they are speaking of, because our power grids would zap out with an EMP attack? Right?

    • I think that Iran and terrorist are alreay placing their orders. Boy it's a good thing Obama cut the Coast Guard radiation detection so that it is easier for the bad guys to get a nuclear weapon over here. Wonderful that he wants to cut our missile defence so that we can not protect our self. I really don't know if he is with us or against us. I know his fiscal policy sucks.

  36. ringo says:

My fear is that the N.Koreans will lauch a decapitating EMP attack. They have tested a nuke big enough to produce the pulse. Now they are testing various missles. All they need to do is conduct a launch high into the atmosphere and we are back 200 years!

    • TXTJ says:

Ok so this could happen, that was my question, the EMP issue then ties into Mar-x-is-m agendas. Everyone in the same boat. If the United States went dark and her power grids zapped, it would take months if not longer to repair them. In the mean time, folks would have to rely on what they have stored for food, or the government for what they could deliver (MRE"S, water). Thus, many would automatically start helping their neighbor and neighborhoods. Though this is human nature I can see this as a backward-type promotion for "Marks" but turned around in a way to convience people that this way of life is the better way. Leave people relying on each other and they become accustomed to it and then there is no repairing the system after it has been transformed. There would be no competition, no goals to suceed, no attempts to rise above in the dark, just the aim of survival. We would be at the mercy of our government. Am I way off base here or is this a possibility?

      • chevy400 says:

to list devices affected by emp would cause my head to explode. basically everything that uses electricity.
the amish are in a good position if this happens.

      • HeatherID says:

TXTJ, it's a natural extension of where we are now. We already have so many people who can't or won't take care of themselves that it won't be too difficult to drag a few thousand more in with them.

However, I don't see it being doomsday – there are too many people in too many places who would not have to depend upon the government. There are people already preparing and already prepared. There will be some shining beacons in the long night, and those that are tired of the nightmares will do what they must to break out.

    • MR2 says:

We don't need a EMP to set us back 200 years. Another 100 days of this administration should just about do it!

    • HeatherID says:

ringo, I think we're more likely to get a devastating EMP from solar flares, like the one that knocked out Canada's electrical grid in the late 80s.

    • BlakeFrei says:

To pull off a decapitating EMP, you'd have to lob a nuke 200 miles above Kansas. Terrorists and N. Korea aren't that advanced. If it happens, it's either Russia, China, or a self-inflicted wound.

  37. texasray says:

What a dark furture? You have got to be kidding me these are not the bad old days of Bush, these are Obama days. Nothing bad can can touch us now. Our leader is in complete control of the situation. How soon we forget, change has come.
Wake up and smell the Obama coffee.

  38. DMN says:

Why is Israel absent for all the threatening incidents that are happening around the world? They were ALWAYS there before. Does anyone know??

    • mpg8 says:

I think Israel realizes they are on their own now. We are selling them out. The last press conference from the White House when Netanyahu was with Obama he was looking at Obama like he was going to eat him and Obama wouldn't make eye contact with him. Netanyahu was a captain in the Sayeret Matkal when he was young and is probably fearless. I'm sure he is making other plans.

      • DMN says:

I feel like I'm awakening from a coma. How can our allies now not be our friends and how can our enemies now be our friends?? And in such a short time. It's like the fabric of our existence tore overnight. I wish Israel all the best. I believe that they will win in the end, but I'm not so sure of the US. If we turn our backs on Israel, it's pretty much over for us.

  39. DMN says:

I think I've figured out how Obama is going to solve the North Korea problem…..he's going to name a CZAR to North Korea that will report directly to HIM! I feel so much safer already!

  40. ChrisTyd says:

If Kim Jong Il is smart and I am certain that he is not… he will name his new rocket the "BHO express" in honor of our president. It will appeal the BHO's ego and force him to look the other away.

  41. Dustyluv says:

Dark future? No way…Kim Jung is going to light up the sky really bright!

You will be able to see the brightness for thousands of miles!

  42. Gary_Shaw says:

To me it is not important who has Nuclear Weopons. It is important who has nuclear weapons that will use them. Someone needs to inform Secty. Gates that it is not required to deliver a nuclear weapon by air or missle. They can be delivered in a suitcase via our unprotected southern border and there are tens of thousands of muslim radicals willing to die to do just that.

The best way to stop a fight is to end it before it starts. The best way to win a fight is to engage with extreme predjudice and be just a little meaner than your opponent.

  43. Cliff_brown says:

Remember when Crocodile Dundee told a mugger "That's a Knife". Those words would have never worked unless the mugger thought he might get cut.

  44. gsteinbacher says:

Is the dark future the mushroom cloud rolling over our heads, because nobody is going to do a dang thing about it?

  45. RobNRick says:

N Korea already has the nuke. They tested one underground last week to be the size of Heroshima. The news said it was on that level in size. They also fired off like 6 missles as well.

    • Rahthrae says:

They detonated nuclear material underground. I was speaking of when they are able to successfully weaponize the nuclear material via a missile. As of right now they have not had a missile with a nuclear warhead. However, I imagine it is just a matter of time, and several other countries are going to try to obtain nuclear missile capability as well because of the bold statements and actions of both N. Korea and Iran.

      • Vettenut says:

From the news reports, the air samples taken were analyzed and they can't determine if it was really a nuclear explosion. The little Hitler may be trying to fool us.

  46. Jerseygal says:

BH0 said he will use diplomacy with rogue nations, that 'not talking to them' made no sense. He fails to recognize that talks, with or without sanctions, did not acheive good results. He is so narcissistic that he believes no one else had the 'gift' to talk to these rogues, and he does. He is so concerned that any actions by rogue nations do not reflect negatively on him and will not do anything until someone loads a speech in TOTUS saying that it is Bush's fault, and he inherited it, and now wants American's support to clean up another Bush mess.

    • DMN says:

Unfortunately, with Obama EVERYTHING is about talking. There's absolutely NO action…just TALKING! Obama seems to think that when he speaks, pearls of wisdom drop from his lips and all problems are solved. You're right- he is narcissistic and that is what will be his…our….downfall.

  47. Obama wants to stop funding Star Wars missile defense, negotiate with Russia to reduce the amount of nuclear weapons we both had (sounds a lot like Carter!) and reduce military spending. Ahh.. Change we can believe in….NOT! We need a full fleet of F-22’s, Star Wars (SDI) needs to be enhanced and improved and stop apologizing for our actions.

If I were in charge I would do a low level fly over of N. Korea with F-22’s at supersonic speeds so the shock wave is felt all over the cities. That way they will see that we have some slick ways to stop this crap and then take out every missile on the launch pad, using that laser that is being tested.

But Obama will do nothing. Bush did nothing either and I thought he was a wimp about this mini despot leader.

  48. "The North's nuclear program does not "at this point" represent a direct military threat to the United States …" Gates commented. So, we've had our heads in the sand since 1994 or thereabouts, and we still continue with this thought. Mr Secretary, at what point exactly do we have to wait until North Korea does become a "direct military" threat -at which time it will be too late?

I've watched all this go down from the beginning, knowing it was going to end this way. I also know that barring direct action, they will develop a true ICBM capability, and then what?

Couple this with the completely stupid and ineffective "sanctions" on Iran for their "peaceful" nuclear program, knowing full well, barring direct action, that they too will achieve nuclear status, and with the assistance of the North Koreans, an ICBM capability as well. And Gates was supposed to be good for DOD?

  49. detestObama says:

I still contend that North Korea is not much of a threat in the near future, It's just Kim Jong trying to use scare tactics to get more consessions from other countries.
The real problem is Iran that could jeopardize peace in the world, with threats that are not idle threats. They plan to exterminate Isreal from the map. This will erupt into World War 3! We must work with other countries, or work on our own to eliminate the potential problem before it goes to far!

  50. Gregory says:

This is exactly why they should have been stopped before they acquired such weapons. This is also why Iran should be stopped at any cost. The world can't afford another belligerent nation with the power to kill hundreds of thousands of people.

    • Gary_Shaw says:

This is exactly why Truman should have not stopped Gen. McArthur. He was hell bent to remove the yellow threat from the face of the earth when he was recalled and fired. Not a racist either, he was married to a lady from the Phillipines, he was simply stating the facts and facing the truth and taking action.

      • Gregory says:

Patton had the same feelings, and he was reigned in. At the onset of pain, you should take medication before the pain becomes debilitating. If this administration is serious about the proliferation of nuclear weapons, than they should not hesitate in removing the threat. How can Unibama say he is against nuclear weapons while he is doing nothing to stop it. I hope he is not waiting on the UN.

  51. Rahthrae says:

This issue is going to be the single biggest push of nuclear proliferation we've seen in recent history. Neighboring countries there will all push for their own, and Iran will get a nuke right after N.Korea does…believe that. That will push all the countries in the middle east to obtain them as well. As unstable as everything appears now, just wait to see what the world looks like within two years of N.Korea or Iran getting their hands on a nuclear missile. It doesn't take a stretch of the imagination to see an end of days scenario.

  52. recovery24 says:

You can't talk sense to a crazy person..The only thing these people will respect is strength and force..The North Koreans are one of the worst off nations on the planet..They have no resources except manpower. I believe they are playing the only hand they have and we must call their bluff…

  53. MR2 says:

There needs to be a nuclear "accident" at this North Korean nuclear facility. The type of accident that will show that Russian isotopes were involved. The Koreans will blame the U.S., but the Chinese will prove it was the Russians.

We kill the main bird and redirect with the second.

    • Boopster says:

MR2, I have NO military experience, have only read books. But we do have special forces that are trained to do these things. Why would we not do this? what if anything prevents them from doing something about eliminating the threat, many Presidents have taken a pass on N.K..! Now the NK are working with Iran and they are a much bigger threat.

      • MR2 says:

Hi Boopster. This was actually a tongue-in-cheek comment.

I was Special Forces and the Pacific Rim was my last operational area. Operating in North Korea is extremely difficult just by itself. Pretty much impossible within the areas necessary to laser a target let alone place a SADAM. And I'd be pretty leary of being within a few kilometers of a Soviet built SADAM, let alone carrying one in and placing it.

I would recommend a SLCM from the Sea of Japan or better, a Stealth UAV strike.

Of course this is all notional thinking as any actual action would be illegal under current armistice agreements and violation of our past administrations policies/ExecOrd. (My lawyer made me write that).

I agree that North Korea has been, to coin a oft used phrase, a clear and present danger. One that will become greater and greater everyday until resolved. The past four administrations have been pretty Neville Chamberlain about North Korea. China is the route to resolving North Korea. We can and should eliminate the threat, but long term requires China's blessing and action. I don't think the current administration has a clue what to do. Maybe they will send some Region 1 DVDs.

  54. pslwd says:

We do have a dark future. If No. korea does not get us, we are sunk financially by this empty suit.

  55. stang289 says:

    WHATEVER !!

  56. jwjcc1 says:

Having a President who is "voting present" on this and many other difficult geo-political decisions is a revealing flaw for someone who swore under oath to Protect Preserve and Defend.

  57. QuitePatriot says:

Call the U.N. (Useless Nations), we need the usual letters, resolutions and non-effective sanctions again…

  58. SnowDogMom says:

Gates' hand are tied with Obama, nothing will happen till he strikes S. Korea or Japan or Us. Then the s h i t will hit the fan and Obama will be up the creek without a paddle.

  59. cajunpatriot says:

let's face it Kim Jong Il is certifiable. the man is a crazed lunitic. his elivator doesn' get out of the basement. He's about 48 cards short of a deck. But uther than that I have no problems with his nuclear capabilities.

    • TDCobra says:

Just what we need a pajama wearing nuclear bomb owning pygmy running around threatening every body. What this pipsqueak needs is for someone to break a boot in his azz. But we all know President Pantie-Waste is to busy hiding under the bed quaking in his little pink rabbit slippers.

WHAT A you fill it in

  60. Del47 says:

I think we should take a play out of old kim's play book and do some of our own saber rattling by putting some war ships of his coast to do some military exercises

  61. HeatherID says:

Wow, our guys are actually talking like they think they're dealing with a rational government. It doesn't get much more scary than that. Do you think they will ever recognize the fact that some people don't WANT to talk, they want to take us down?

  62. 50bmgmtnman says:

Oh my God, laugh out loud funny. Thanks for that . I need that!
    .

  63. Texan2 says:

A "dark future"? I beg to differ, the flash of a nuclear detonation is far, far brighter than the sun…..

  64. DMN says:

What the heck happened to Israel? They used to get IT done when the US couldn't….or wouldn't.

  65. Vindex22 says:

Dismantle the United (corrupt) Nations and check this wacko… then Iran will quiet down, outspoken support by Russia & China and their little "games" will quiet down… UN is working on new financial sanctions and military penalities… yea, their military plan is hope the United States saves the worlds ass, just in time for the UN to make a speech condemning our "unilateral" action and make us look like the bad guy, again, as usual…..

it seems that we always run to the UN for assistance… since they seem to be in charge, FINE, then replace our thirty thousand American troops with UN peace keepers and see how things work out with the new financial sanctions….

  66. TaxiDude says:

Send in Madeline Albright with another bottle of champagne. It should cool him off and get her out of the country for awhile. Win-win.

  67. Tandab says:

Phase 1 : Give Kim Jong Il a Stern warning!
Phase 2: Give Kim Jong Il a Time out!
Phase 3: Rename the missile launches to something less frightening than what they are " Overhead arial Celebratory rocket display"
Phase 4: ( The Clincher) Bush Did it!

    • DMN says:

I think you're on to something, Tandab! We're ALL going to enjoy the "overhead aerial celebratory rocket displays" while simultaneously cursing Bush and chanting support for Obama. Once the flesh begins to burn off our bodies, though…..

      • RB60 says:

"cursing Bush and chanting support for Obama"….I think you have that backwards, don't you?
Once we start to "glow" the libs might just "see the light", don't ya think?

    • StsRts says:

Can’t we just sit down and talk with Kim Jong-Sicko without preconditions?

      • DMN says:

Since Obama thinks all the bad guys are the good guys, he will probably meet with Kimbo to discuss how bad the US is. Then he'll probably disarm the US by giving our nuclear arsenal to Kimbo, being that the nuclear arsenal is so evil and all. Obama will KNOW that Kimbo will make better use of it than our arrogant country ever will….

    • jbacs says:

      I cant breathe

  68. Ohiowoman says:

After reading Gates' comments, I have to ask why we are still resorting to sanctions and dire warnings when they are meaningless. Kim Jong Il needs to be slapped down hard and quickly. He has been playing this game for far too long and has become quite the little bully. As with all bullies, they tend to back down when you hit back at them with some force. A slap on the wrist again is not the way to go.

  69. DMN says:

I hate to say this, but I think the libs will be cursing Bush and still LOVING Obama as their flesh burns off their bodies. These people are almost certifiable because of their intense hate of Bush. I think that's the reason they have such LOVE for Obama. Without Bush, there wouldn't be so much passion for Obama. Do you know what I mean? I think there may be a real psychological diagnosis for what they're suffering from.

Good one about their "seeing the light". LOL

  70. JansKid says:

During Bush's administration, many people floated THEORIES and OPINIONS that the war in Iraq made America less safe. During that time, N. Korea used to launch a missile annually to test whether Bush's resolve had changed.

Now they're launching a missile per DAY, which gives us direct, irrefutable EVIDENCE that President Obama's policies making the country less safe.

Obama better be careful. Doing nothing is a decision. It is a decision to do nothing.

And if he makes an enemy out of Israel, that is the WORST thing he could do. They have vowed that they will "never again" be caught up in a holocaust, and World Wars have started over smaller incidents than what N. Korea and Iran are currently doing.

It must be personal preference, I guess, because I sincerely feel that America is now LESS safe than it was four months ago.

  71. MDgal24 says:

Hahaha! That Leno is a funny guy! Oh wait, you're serious. I was just thinking the other day that Obama is already the worst president in history, but I'm sure that the liberals who record that history will ensure that he is considered the best president in history. To that end, I'm learning Mandarin Chinese so I'll be able to read about it.

  72. JansKid says:

During Bush's administration, many people floated THEORIES and OPINIONS that the war in Iraq made America less safe. During that time, N. Korea used to launch a missile annually to test whether Bush's resolve had changed.

Now they're detonating underground nukes and launching at least one missile per DAY, which gives us direct, irrefutable EVIDENCE that President Obama's policies making the country less safe.

We sure as heck have less MONEY!

  73. We could always retaliate and blow out the one light bulb in North Korea. Yeah that will teach them.

  74. DMN says:

You are probably right. I need to start reading up on revolutions. It looks so easy in the movies….

  75. JansKid says:

Bush's legacy will be a President who democratized two nations in the Mid-East that had previously been in turmoil for thousands of years.

He (and our brave men & women in uniform) also kept the nation safe in the dark days after 9-11.

History will record that he did so by persevering despite reluctant support from the opposition party and consistent, NON-STOP whining and complaining by overpaid journalists hiding behind our safe borders.

President Obama, in declaring Bush a spender and a failure, has put a great deal of pressure on himself.

So far he is the President who spent the MOST in the LEAST amount of time.

In fact, he has spent MORE than ALL of his predecessors put together.

    In FOUR months.

  76. MDgal24 says:

It makes one want to vomit doesn't it? I am SO glad I don't have kids.
