This is America and when in America, you do what Americans do: We pledge and salute the American Flag. If you would like a flag other than the America Flag, please fly it in the privacy of your own home and stop insulting the American Citizens. I am about tired of ungratful immigrants destroying America. We (American Citizens) welcome everyone into our home (America) and it takes a lot of nerve for outsiders to come into our home and insult us and change our ways. We have lost a lot of fellow Americans fighting for our freedom to fly Old Glory and I will not allow immigrants to take that away. If the person working at the hospital or any where else in the United States is so offended and not happy with America, I will personally pay for a one way ticket back to their home land. America, love it or leave it!
Just so all of you know……the local 912 project showed up to protest outside of the Hospital. One man prior to the 912ers showing up, went to Home Depot, and bought a bunch of American stick flags and planted them in front of the Hospital and joined up with the 912ers in a protest. The supervisor came out to say that the issue had been resolved, and that they could go home. Well, they didn't want to go home. The 912ers wanted a word with the lady who complained about the flag, and said that the issue would be resolved then……"We have a few questions for the lady." Needless to say….she never came outside. This is just a short version of what I heard from our Arlington 912project leader, and I asked him to come on this site, and give a detailed version.
I am so proud of our group, and wish I could have been there. Local 912project groups WORK!

My opinion if people don't like our American flag they don't need to be here in the first place. Love it or leave it because we aren't changing it for no one. If our flag goes down we are no longer America the land of the free.
Horrifying!!! If the lady from Kenya finds our flag offensive, she does not have to stay in this country. I will never understand why she has more rights then the American. In America, we are so worried about everyone's rights, now no one has any rights.
It is time to google the hospital name, the city get the phone number email address and bombard them with phone calls and emails. Letting one idiot control the free display of OUR NATIONAL FLAG. In my opinion is criminal. When are we as Patiots going to say Enough is Enough.
This is only the beginning if not completely squashed right away. Next could be demands for foot baths and toilets that don't face towards the east.! No Christmas trees allowed but prayer rugs are OK. ? The only things most hospital administrators understand is money…boycott these SOB'S until they get rid of the SOB.
Unbeleavable. Our country is falling from Grace, with all these Weirdo's complaining because someone wants to show her Patriotism, and is proud to have members of her Immediate family fighting for our rights. But this is taking it to far when Citizens? of our country would rather complain about the rights they are abusing.
The general feeling in our country today, I feel, is people have had it to good through their lives, and really don't understand the freedoms they enjoy, until they are taken away. With our present leadership in congress, and the White House, Our freedoms are rapidly being taken away. Only then will the citizens of this great country become aware, and maybe understand what they have taken for granted!
Hurrah for Debbie McLucas for standing her ground and sticking up for her principles. This is so typical of adminstrators today, they are so afraid of liberals filing lawsuits that they would rather offend the majority than take the chance of being sued. The only way to end this sort of nonscense is for conservative traditional Americans to threaten lawsuits of their own. I know that the thought of that goes against the grain, consevatives typically try to solve their own problems without lawyers. We could take a lesson from the NRA, whenever the 2nd amendment is threatened they file suit, end of story. They as often as not win those suits and politicians are loathe to tred on the 2nd amendment because the NRA is right down their throats. If we had an organization as powerful as the NRA protecting the 1rst amendment things would begin to turn around. Try and tell me what I can say, wham! lawsuit. Tell me what bumpersticker I can display, wham! lawsuit. If Human Events, townhall.com the 912project and a multitude of other conservative organizations and websites were to join forces as one entity along with all their all their members we would be a force to be reckoned with.
We live in a time, and in a country, where, everyone has rights, but nobody has any responsibility. We`ve heard obama tell the muslins that the United States doesn`t consider itself a Christian nation. We`ve seen politicians from both major parties lie to us, ignore us when we demand real change and accountability. We`ve seen God, and Christ stricken from the public square, while homosexuality and hedonism are touted and glorified. We`ve been told we musn`t offend anyone with our God, or our Patriotism, no matter this country WAS founded on Christian beliefs, and Patriots have given the supreme sacrifice to keep this country safe and secure. I understand Glenn can`t say that we may need to forcefully take our country back, and maybe he even believes that, but I don`t any longer. The Founders understood full well, that with time, tyranny may force us to start the government anew, and when they continue to ignore us, when they continue to push God out of the public square, when this, so called president, panders to the muslims, and says we`re not a Christian nation, when an American flag is taken down because it offends someone, we`ve reached that point.

I suggest the "immigrant" move back to whatever third world hell hole she came from. I think that in addition to our our hero, all co-workers should now display an American flag as well.

I'd get me a much bigger Flag, and I'd ask the immigrant if I could see his proof of citizenship, if he can't show me, I'd personally take him to the cops, and make sure his behind was hauled to the border, I'd do that myself too, since I believe "if you want anything done RIGHT in this world ….do it myself". (That's my motto if life.)
Anyone who tries to stop me I'd haul them to the border too. If he shows his papers, I'd put them in the shredder.
I keep my Flag out all the time except bad weather, and I have a light shining on it at night. I have 2 Eagles on each side that when the wind blows it turns their wings and looks like they are flying.

Do you think the "change of heart" had anything to do with all the phone calls the administrative staff got from people like us outraged over this incident? They would never say it, but I would believe it had "everything" to do with it.
Just a friendly reminder for those of you sending envelopes, post cards, emails and letters to the HOA for the Veteran asked to remove his Marine bumper stickers, or to the Hospital who asked the employee to remove her flag from her office (addresses and emails have been posted), please use the 9-12 values and principles when corresponding with them, you represent the912project. I just hope we can start here and keep a pace going. Through support of those who are facing an unjustified wrath for practicing the American spirit of freedom of religion, patriotic display of our blessed symbol the flag, or being a United States Veteran and displaying such pride, we need to let each of them know we stand beside them, and surround them with our strength. In doing so we become the voice of reason and rights for all. I cannot think of a better service to our fellow citizens than a peaceful approach of personal support of each of them.
my four year old girl just learned the words to "Grand 'Ol Flag" in school, she gets so exicited when ever she sees a Flag… it gives me the chills how excited she gets and how she knows the ride of Paul Revere… it about brings a tear to my eye when she sings "Grand "Ol Flag", kid you not, this is how passionate i am about our heritage and if an immigrant can not comprehend that feeling then they don't belong here.

A few minutes ago I E-Mailed Kindred Hospital in Texas and suggested that the supervisor who complained about the flag — the one who has lived in America for 14 years — reevaluate what, if anything American means to him or her. I further suggested that the patients and families who allegedly complained get a grip.
The fact that Debbie McLucas can now proudly display the flag speaks volumes that the voice of the American people still holds sway. I don't believe for a minute that the size of the flag was the issue. That is just spin from hospital PR personnel. Thank you FOX and the local Texas news media for exposing this ridiculous antic. Thank you Debbie McLucas for standing your ground. Old Glory rises supreme!

Well, thank God we have a First Amendment right to voice our opinions, whether they be deemed vulgar or not. And, I agree, this story was rather vulgar. Hopefully other organizations (hospitals, HOA's, zoning commissions, et al) will become so overwhelmed by American outrage that they all think twice before infringing upon American liberties!
Hindsight bugs me most about this. Why would anyone – EVER – consider our flag to be offensive? The hindsight that gets me is that which was exercised by this womans supervisors. They made her take it down, then later, only after other people caught wind of this, commented to the hospital.
What I would like to know is why the decision was made in the first place to remove this flag, and in such a disrespectful manner. What imperative had someone do this?
I'm disgusted. Our society has become so intolerant (but in the guise of tolerance), so ultra sensitive, that it sickens me, and puts fear into my heart for what my children will face as they grow older. I have had 1 serve a hitch in the Navy, 1 in the Army, one is in basic at Ft Jackson, and the last one planning on service as well. If this is the kind of future they can look forward to, then God help us.
On an up note, there will be a free American flag and copy of the Constitution folded neatly, and stuffed in every ashtray found on every new model car coming from GM (Government Motors).
If I where her, I would change my diet to broccoli, cauliflower, whole milk and boiled eggs. Then I would release any obnoxious gas into the office, and pray that the immigrant that complained about the flag, would also find that offensive. Call it……….a retaliatory strike. If the immigrant woman can be intolerant, than the flag owner can be lactose intolerant.

These malcontents have learned that if they complain they get their way because in most instances it is easier to just appease them than fight their stupidity. If you want a real life example go hang out by the return line at Wal Mart for a few minutes and you will be able to see this in action.

I just checked and the office worker now has the flag in her office, she came into work this morning and it was rolled up around her small flag pole LAYING ON THE FLOOR. There were numerous calls, emails and, a protest was held outside of the hospital. The hospital administrator has appologized. I am still upset though.

I just suggested on the other story-that if they make the Veteran remove the bumper stickers from his car that we mass mail him one each from all over the nation. Same with this story, draw a flag, mail a small flag, what have you, I think taking a stand starts with small actions. And, if someone can get the address for the gentleman in California holding bible study in his home, lets each send him a verse of strength. This will cost you each a stamp and an envelope. For the flag you can even draw on on the back of the envelope, for the veteran you can just write thank you for your service on the back of the envelope. Let's move on these stories and we'll gain strength in knowing that our voices are collectively being heard and tell these people they are NOT ALONE. I can help with the Texas addresses, and I am certain the other Texan's on this site will help as well. ANY ONE WILLING TO SPARE THE COST OF THREE STAMPS????
Update, the office worker now has her flag back in her office after a public outcry, letters, phone calls and an interview in Iraq with the hospital workers daughter who supported her mother. A protest was held outside of the hospital and the hospital administrator appollogized. Now, we just have bumper stickers and a bible verse to go.
Not a bad idea…just remember there are some wackos cruising this blog who might decide to send offensive material as well…I know thats a downer, but that is the country we now live in.

I have emailed a local columnist (James Ragland with the Dallas Morning News) who interviewed Mr. Larison in person regarding this story, and I've asked if he could provide some way in which we on the 9/12 project could contact him to show our support. Hopefully I will get an email reply promptly. As soon as I do, I will pass the information along to everyone here.

Found a little info on Pastor David Jones via the South Bay Community Church where he ministers. That, so far, is the only contact info I have been able to uncover thus far. However, I imagine that we could send correspondence to the church and that Pastor Jones and his wife would receive it. If anyone is uncomfortable flooding the church with letters and emails of support, I'm sure that church staff would be able to provide a better means of contacting the family. I think we really need to work at getting back to the basics
1. you desecrate a flag you go to jail
2. Every buisiness should fly an American flag and hold colors every morning.
3. everyone should stop turn toward the flag at 0800 and hold thier hand over their heart and say the pledge of allegence, after hearing the national anthem played on loud speakers.
4. if you don't do this then the government can fine the non patriotic to get more revenue that way or just kick them out of the country.
All this story shows is that if your anti American, you get what you want. No American flags, no praying in your home, no patriotic bumper stickers on your cars. WE are not the land of the FREE, Are we still the home of the BRAVE? Stand ready!

Here's the thing that bugs me about this situation. The person who complained could bring any flag they want into the office and no one would say a word, offended or not. It would not be PC to complain. BUT we can get offended over an American flag. SHEESH!

I wish mine came with an ashtray and lighter, that is optional now and not standard. You have to purchase it. I went around looking to see if I could find one in one anymore while I was having my oil changed. There aren't many with them.
