Time outs are for 2 year olds…..Obama needs to move out!

  2. lovetexas says:

Things are way out of hand and this new party need reigning in . Thank goodness for those who will speak out . I don't think all of congress can stomach communism.

Thank goodness for politicians who stand up and say "enough " to this Socialist president .

    evidence of?

  6. carole2cares says:

With all this evidence in place why is Obama still ruling?

    • Why is he still ruling? He is still ruling because we as the AMERICAN People haven't stood up to him and exercised our rights to have him impeached. We the people of the United States of America hold all of the powers of government in our hands and yet we don't even realize it or feel to insecure to do anything about it. Read the Declaration of Independence! It says something to the affect of when the people aren't satisfied with the current form of government they have the rights to remove the government and put up a new government more to their pleasing. America has run full circle and we are living under the same oppressive government our founding fathers lived under, only it has a disguise now and doesn't speak in the same dialect.

  7. Gregory says:

Speaking of lawmakers, Obama will nominate Sonia Sotomayor for the next Supreme Court Justice, and she won't hesitate and even openly states that the courts legislate (make policy) from the bench. So, having all these lawmakers in the House and Senate means nothing, when a president can make the laws with just 5 Justices.

    • SecretPolice says:

Yes sir, just heard her joking about legislating from the bench on Beck's radio show – I swear I'm about to lose my mind or at least shoot blood from my eyes.

      Scary, scary times my friend.

      • Gregory says:

She has already proven herself to be a racist bigot and a sexist. I wonder if Wright suggested to Obama that she would make a fine Justice.

"I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion [as a judge] than a white male who hasn't lived that life." — Judge Sonia Sotomayor, in her Judge Mario G. Olmos Law and Cultural Diversity Lecture at the University of California (Berkeley) School of Law in 2001

If a white man had made the same remarks regarding a Latino woman, he would be stoned and left in the streets for all to see by the left. I would also suggest that all of congress be fired since they are no longer needed to write laws.

    Excerpt on 1 article:
“According to the state laws in Hawaii that were in effect at the time of Obama’s birth, a child must be born to “TWO” U.S. Citizen parents (this law was in effect from “December 24, 1952 to November 13, 1986,“ which means it applies to Barack’s birth.
But only Barack’s mom was a U.S. Citizen. Papa Obama was a citizen of Kenya.
    Well, the Hawaiian law stipulates:
…If only one parent was a U.S. Citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least FIVE of which had to be after the age of 16.”
It appears that Obama’s mother was only 18 when Obama was born, which means she was shy of the 21 years of age required by the law. In other words, she was not old enough to qualify her son for automatic U.S. Citizenship. … “There is also the fact that when Obama was 18 he could have/should have taken an oath to the allegiance of the United States….there is no proof he did…”

    • AMEN! We need all the help God can give us under this administration. People fail to realize "Change" isn't always better than the status quo. They hear "change" and their eyes get all glittery and their heart starts pounding and they just get all excited because its something thats not like the present situation. No one stops to think whether this "change" will be good for them, they just know its something new and they just "have to have it!"

I think we have nuclear war as the front runner right now that could mass murder Americans and leave us starving, because once fall out occurs you can't eat food, drink water. This is not paranoia. Iran has this kooky belief that in order for their 12 amon to come they have to mass murder as many infidels as possible. This is what you are seeing with Iran and North Korea, Russia. They are collaborating. We have an ineffective and highly narcissistic President whose popularity and need for adulation comes before national security. He will turn out to be the most horrific and incompetent President in United States history. Unfortunately Americans will pay for the price for his incompetence.

My biggest ???? What can I do? I am learning how to grow my own produce and thankfully live in a part of the country that a lot of things WILL grow… I just don't know how to stall or stop this terrible decline.. It seems to me that too many Americans have been drinking the Kool-Aid for Too long and they just do not want to WAKE UP! All I can say is as long as we are allowed to communicate with each other this (cause I SWEAR they are going to take this away from us) We need to find ways to connect other than this. Help out! I am willing to give out my e-mil to anyone who lives in the Denver area .. Got to find some backbone here.

  16. Goober says:

This is in response to COLATR2 … I agree with you in that it has been being promoted from within for a very long time. We have completely outsourced ourselves to the brink of financial destruction. Bad of me and mine… We should have been able to see this coming from a LONG ways away. I have been screaming for years that what we are doing is wrong. I am in the construction business and I have been scratching my head as to WHY? Why do we overbuild… why do we underproduce? Well I think that we have been lulled quietly while the PTB have been busy busy busy.

  17. Goober says:

    wow whats next????

  18. OFP says:

Can an independent be popular and to the left of BO which will split the liberal vote? That sounds impossible to me. I do agree that both major parties, when in power, equally overspend and get trapped in that DC mentality that their job once elected is to obtain pork and raise vast sums of $$$’s to get re-elected. Listening to their constituents, and doing what the voters want, is not in the equation.

    • Jerseygal says:

Not likely – who is to the left of BH0? Bill Ayers, Rev. Wright, Rahm? It is virtually impossible to split the Democratic party like they split the Republican party, mainly because Dem standards are so low. Republican conservative purists must find common ground with so-called RINOs, not let them take over the party, just stop bickering. Repubs are almost always successful when they run with very far right position on the issues. This is part of how the Dems succeed. They find a moderate candidate for Senate or Congress in a heavily conservative district, fund his/her campaign, gain that seat in the House, and look for (expect) straight line party votes on issues. And they usually get it.

      • StsRts says:

I think you are correct about no one being able to split the DEM party. The DEMS sure spend a lot of time attempting to split the Republicans by trying to make them into DEMS.

  19. geann says:

I think that Obama and GM both need to take a time out. If GM thinks that importing more Chinese made cars will endear them to the buying public then I think they are sadly mistaken. It's almost impossible to find anything American made anymore. I have no intention of buying anything that GM (or Chrysler) makes—their cars, for the most part are garbage, but if they import cars manufactured in China I will NEVER buy one, no matter where it's manufactured. I think we need to begin to "talk" to manufacturers who have plants in China and tell them that they need to begin making items in the US or we will buy ONLY WHAT WE MUST HAVE but nothing else. Our economy is in the tank and the world is waiting for us to fail and then they will move in like vultures. Bring jobs back to this country and support our economy instead of everone elses.

  20. floridagal says:

I heard that his father and mother were not married at the time of his birth…. so where does that put us now? I have seen his short version on line….. I still can't understand why he won't produce the ORIGINAL. We're supposed to accept this "certified short version" when there is such controversy surrounding this situation.??? If it were me, I would have produced the original from the get go… just to avoid this controversy. You have to wonder……. and why won't the media do its job???????? Oh… much less congress.. isn't that their duty???

  21. Gregory says:

That is correct. Isn't it amazing that someone with his IQ can come to a conclusion today, what everyone else came to months ago?

  22. OKTroy says:

    No Joke. LOL!

  23. detestObama says:

cleatis; Obama has the backing of the news media. But there are many people that are forcing the Issue into the courts!

All Obama has to do is show the original full and official birth certificate, including the seal!

    • gsteinbacher says:

which by now he has had time enough to forge one that will pass muster in all respects

      • detestObama says:

gsteinbacher; Thats true, but the original official state of Hawaii certificate had a State seal imprinted on it (at least back in 1961), and it is a longer version then what Obama presented. The original birth certificate has all the Information associated with the birth, Including; attending doctor with signature, attending nurses, exact time and date of birth, plus where he was born in Hawaii, and other information pertinent such as who the mother is, who the father is, and the official state seal.

All Obama presented was a short form with very little information! These cert. are given if, as an example, you were born somewhere else.

We need the long form to show all data, if it even exists! Obama could clear this up in seconds if in fact this birth certificate even exists!

  24. AuntieJ says:

B.O. needs to go sit in the corner facing the wall and "reflect" on his crass ignorance of economics, the lessons of history, logic and the true meaning of "transparency". He is a fool who was catapulted into the most powerful position in the world and he is making an almost irrepariable mess of it.

  25. http://anti-msm-news.blogspot.com/ Why would he take a TO,chances are he's gonna lose the house and senate and he knows that. He's a smart Neo-Marxist and time is running out for him. http://anti-msm-news.blogspot.com/

  26. detestObama says:

—NEWS FLASH— I was just told that if Barack Hussein Obama is not born in the United States of America, he is ineligible to be President. Both Obama, and Biden would be kicked out, and the candidates that lost to them would move into the president, and V.P. That would mean John McCain, and Palin would automaticly become President, and Vice President!

There is so much evidence that Obama was not even born in the United States, but rather in Mumbosa, Kenya, Africa. At first, I paid no attention about these stories last September 2008, and continueing, but I think there is enough evidence growing to force the Issue to Obama to prove he was born in Hawaii, by showing an original and Official Birth Certificate, Instead of the incomplete one he gave to the media, or he is Illegally acting as President!

    • fox 2/5 says:

Where did you get this confirmation from. In my gut I believe you, but this story has been circulating for awhile.

      • detestObama says:

A Paster Travis Witt from Lynchburg, Virginia called me yesturday, talking about another Issue about the Tea Parties coming up on July 4th, and I mentioned about the who moves into the Presidency if Obama were to leave. He told me that it is in the Constitution where as, If the President elect won under false pretences, His Administration would become void, and the candidates that lost tohim, being McCain, and Palin, would be the only ones to move into these vacant positions! Now I think we should research for ourselves, but Paster Witt is a politically motivated person!

    • cleatis says:

Last year he produced 2 or 3 differnent birth certificates. All where proven to be fake and all different from each other and what was done, not a da*n thing.

    • Bamabelle says:

It doesn't even matter if he WAS born in Hawaii. His father was a Kenyan when it was under British rule. Under British Commonweath Law, that citizenship passes to all children born to British citizens at birth. That would make Obama a BRITISH CITIZEN at birth (no matter where he was born). IF he was born in Hawaii, his mother would have been too young and not have lived in the U.S. long enough to have been able to pass U.S. citizenship to him. He is not an American citizen. At BEST, he is a dual citizen and therefore is INELIGIBLE to serve as President of the United States of America. Obama is a fraud. Anyway it is tossed, it is a salad. And it can't be served in America. People need to be up in the air over this. My question is: WHY IS CONGRESS NOT? WHY ARE THE SUMPREMES NOT? Obama has spent approx. $600k in attorney fees fighting these lawsuits about this eligibility. What is he hiding?

      • tvlgds says:

NOBODY will make the decision to follow the Constitution because they don't want to be accused of racism or deal with the riots in the streets if anything happens to remove Nobamessiah from office. He is NOT an American born citizen, but will never be tossed out.

    • tvlgds says:

That is not true. I'll have to scrounge the article I read before the election, but I think it would go to Botox Barbie in the interim. I'll see if I can find it.

    • Freegranny says:

I haven't seen the evidence you're talking about but, if it does exist and is growing, I sure hope this nightmare can be dissolved ASAP. I don't believe he was born in Hawaii, either. I believe he was born in Kenya and only moved to Hawaii when he was around 7 or 9 years old. I sure hope someone can come up with definitive proof so he can be kicked out and absolutely everything he's signed, made null and void. Maybe then we can all sue him for all the damage he's done to us.

  27. detestObama says:

—-CORRECTION—-; I just found out that if Obama took the office of President under false pretenses, Biden would not precede him! If Obama was not born in the United States, he would be ineligible to be President.
Then, the candidate that lost the general election to Obama, would be declared the President. That would be John McCain, and Palin would be Vice President!
    ______________________________________________________________________________________

I vote for a permanent time out. Obama's been in office to long, and he dosn't show any signs of getting any smarter. . The Democrats are really screwing the taxpayers, BAD. Obama did get voted in, and the voters did get brainwashed!

But, both Obama, and Biden campaigned to redistribute the wealth from those who have worked hard all their lives, and are the ones that paid the tax bills.

Then there are the ones laying around their subsudized home, waiting for the welfare checks, etc., all the while not participating in working for the betterment of the country, and for themselves. Why work, they have Obama, and his clowns promoting this lifestyle so the Dems just get voted in again- on the taxpayers backs!

  28. Jared says:

I realize that the call to slow down in the article was directed towards the governments reach into the auto industry but the slow down will not come until Universal Healthcare is pushed through. Obama says we have no money left and the reason for our deficit is a broken Healthcare system. Well, lets think about this for a second. True, our healthcare system currently has some flaws but nonetheless is the best in the world, even with these flaws. I always wonder how such educated people as Obama and his radical liberal coherts cannot see the truth in front of their eyes. The real reason we are operating in a severe deficit is because of insane government spending. Fixing a Healthcare system that isn't broken but merely slightly dented will only bring us further into debt. Sure there is some streamlining that could be done to make healthcare more efficient but when was the last time the government ever took something and streamlined it? The answer is never. Slowing down isn't good enough anymore. To make anything better we must start heading in the opposite direction altogether.

    • Bamabelle says:

The government is in no position to "fix" the healthcare system. IT is not broken. And when did the government ever FIX ANYTHING? Who are they to judge how to do anything to healthcare? They are not doctors. They are paid by insurance lobbyists and GE! GE has everything to gain by this and the insurance lobby. WHERE ARE THE SHARK ATTORNEYS in this, you'd think they'd by lobbying like crazy against this whole thing. Can't sue the government if something goes wrong with surgery or we die as a result of poor care.

      • Jared says:

Yeah it is really kind of weird that more people aren't up in arms. I think Beck might have hit this one on the head when he said that people in general dont complain or go out of their way to act unless the things happening affect them, but by then it is too late typically. Its important that we tell as many as we can in a polite and non overbearing way that they are coming after each of us next and this country will never be the same again if we all dont speak out against it. Thanks for your comment!!

      • Goober says:

You are correct. Once he gets the healthcare though…. there is one more place that he MUST get cotrol of…. That would be US! The next thing is absolute control over the internet, radio, and every other kind of ways we have to communcate. We must be strong and not let them have our thoughts suppressed. I don't see any other way for this to get pushed through… if we cannot communicate with each other the way we do now they have a better chance of taking EVERYTHING away from us. I can tell you that i am SOOOO Over all of this and I am ready to stand up for what I believe. I hope that even after this next attempt at control we as Americans can make ourselves known and band together for what is right.

    • knutjb says:

You are correct, once he has the Federal Government in complete control of health care he will have completed his initial check list. He will then have time to decide where he needs to reinforce his socialist agenda and press those ideas next spring.

  29. gsteinbacher says:

Just heard on FOX that BHO has been talking to Bush, sure wish I was a little birdy

It's probably a continuation of his appology tour….. Uh UM sorry I um ah dumped all over you But this a um job is harder then I um a um thought do you think you can a um a give me Some pointers so I can a um um dump them on you again later a a when it's convienent.

  30. pslwd says:

Obama has spent money like a madman. He realizes he must do it now, before he loses his majority in the house and Senate.

  31. mizflame98 says:

You'll love this. I think Obama is throwing in the towel. At least I hope that is the case. The last sentence is telling.

    http://www.drudgereport.com/flashocs.htm

    • gsteinbacher says:

That's just an oh pity me ploy to tug back as many of his followers as he can that are leaving his side. The honeymoon is ending

    • "We are operating in deep deficits, not caused by any decisions we've made on health care so far. This is a consequence of the crisis that we've seen and in fact our failure to make some good decisions on health care over the last several decades."

These 2 sentences by Obama are contradictory in nature. If weve run up massive debt without federal spending on health care, he doesn't believe that if he gets health care legislation passed, that it too won't add even more to deficit spending? If my jaw wasn't wired to my head , it would have fallen off. He can't have both, reduced deficits/debt, AND have universal healthcare.

Cap and Trade tax revenue is health care funding. Kill Cap and Trade, kill universal healthcare. There is no other "revenue" stream. We're in for some very quick hard lessons either way -we ARE out of money, and if it isn't addressed now, by some substantial cuts – face it, they need to massively amputate an awful ot of porgrams, agencies and administrations now. Delaying the ineveitable is just going to make it harder and longer to dig out of the very deep pit we are in.

  32. Jerseygal says:

Did you stop getting replies by e-mail? It seems there is a problem with that. OldMarine, gsteinbacher, ISEEU all have the same problem, as do I. Please report it as a problem on the help page. The more complaints, the quicker it is likely to be fixed.

  33. RNHunter says:

The problem I have here is that the government actions are supposed to create jobs. But the Obama hatred of the oil and coal industry and now his fiddling with the auto industry are in fact losing jobs at a fast pace. He needs to prioritize. To get the country on his feet he needs to slow down his personal fiddling. I am not an auto dealer, but I am in retail in a similar situation. This killing of auto dealers in big numbers is going to further damage the economy. It has been said that small business (of which I am in) provides 70% of the employment in this country. Likewise much in the way of sales tax. Yet Obama joins with big business and large corporations to ignore or damage small business while giving the big guys bailouts. This makes no sense. If small business continues to be treated like garbage in the US, the pain is going to be greater than Washington thinks and the public wants to endure.

    • TXTJ says:

You got it right when you said Obama hates the oil industry. We feel it, every inch of it. Cap and Trade is one big hit to the industry and to every consumer in this nation. And simutaneously he is allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire. This is a big issue. We've discussed that he seriously wants to nationalize the oil and gas industry. We're thinking that when Cap and trade goes into affect, after passage that oil and gas will skyrocket, the media will jump on the band wagon again and blame the oil and gas industry, he will attempt to remove the CEO's of large companies and it wil not be cost-effective for smaller drillers to continue. Here's the kicker, we have ANWAR, that the green people are paid to protest by the Government, We have an extensive untapped resource in Louisiana, and the Barnette Shale in the Dallas Fort Worth region of natural gas that reaches clear into Louisiana. Our hope is that Alaska seceeds and then unfortunately someday Texas will have to, to survive.

    • Follow this link to see just how many jobs have been "saved" or "created"…it's appaling how much "money" was spent for a negative gain. The academics Obama employs as his economic advisors know nothing about the real market – but they do know social and economic justice clap trap.

  34. Islandsox says:

I'd like for Obama to take a time out; I think he should go break bread with Amadenijad and ask him "pretty please" stop your nuclear program. I'd love to see him begging this madman especially after Obama saying to Bebe Netanyou that he would give Iran a year to stop their program and then implement more harsh sanctions. What could even be left to sanction? Many previous admins have been doing this for years and Iran shoots us the finger. Thus why Israel made the Obama's naive comment.

  35. TexasMama says:

I kind of wonder if we need more of a "sneak attack" kind of thing. If we keep having the Tea Parties and such, they will just know the rhetoric that people want to hear and we won't know who is for the right choices and who is into screwing our country up. If we just keep track of who votes what (and call to congratulate whoever votes correctly), then we will know who is for what. I know that leave out our opinions, but that's presuming they listen at all, anyway, before deciding which way to vote.

So, if we all are relatively quiet for now, we'll see who we need to oust. I'd imagine it's almost all of them, but we'll see. Anyway, I just am not sure that calling, writing, faxing, etc, will do anything, but tip those yahoos off as to what we want them to be and then they can try to fake it long enough to get elected again.

Of course, this means that we'll have to be ready to raise our voices like crazy to get good people elected in the near future, but this just might be to our advantage.

    • eaglesden says:

If you would like to know who is trying to screw us up? Look no further than the Whitehouse and his administration..Oh yeah, let's not forget Wall Street and the " Shadow Group" behind Obama!
      http://dixieup.com/

    • Normav says:

You want to really mess with them, what a group of us who meet at the tea party are doing. We go to City council and County commissioners meeting and plead our case with them that times are bad. We ask them to stop the spending and to please stop collaborating with Washington, that are children and Grand Children will never be able to pay it all back. When they go right ahead and approve some or another project we right letters to the editor.
Some times they won't publish. We have all also collected e-mail from others who want the spending to stop and we let them know. the other thing I live in Nevada and a lot of our state Assemblymen respond with down right mean responses We mail there responses to every one we know in the state, and ask people to pass them on.

    • CarolEWash says:

I don't think the congress even gets our e-mails etc. Some staffer does so the Tea Party rally is the one way that they see we mean business. The next national tea party is July 4th and I hope its is double in size from the April 15 rally. The spending has got to stop and in fact be reversed. We need 912er's in office for one term each and turn this thing around.

  36. knutjb says:

The TV show had at least one decent prize. Unfortunately all we are getting here is a huge pile of severely over priced manure behind all the doors.

  37. Texan2 says:

"Time-outs" are for unruly children. An unruly child is not what we have here. What we have is the systematic dismantling of our capitalist system in favor of centralized control by a marxist/statist/socialist. The response from concerned Lawmakers should be equal to the gravity of the situation. Nothing less than a strong, loud, unified condemnation of Obama's actions, calling them for what they are and an equal strong declaration of the values and ideas that made this Nation great in the first place. The American People I firmly believe, know in their hearts what made us great; we just need to hear it and know that we have Lawmakers who support it.

  38. QuitePatriot says:

If he slows down people will see what he is actually doing. It's all slight of hand and distraction.

Ever see the guy on the street playing 3 card monty?? Hello ????

Maybe I'll start referring to him as Barak "3 card monty " Obama…. beats the hell out of his real middle name.

  39. Backdraft says:

I still can't understand how the gov thinks that they should be the ones helping, restructuring, hiring, firing, bailing out, proping up, reallocating, or shutting down any company.

Moving too fast? They shouldn't be "moving" at all!!!

  40. CULATR2 says:

Here's a chilling New World Order thought. The USA is declining. Our work ethic is declining, our sense of entitlement is growing and coddled by the executive branch and their supporting organizations and parties. The total growth potential with only 300 million consumers is nowhere what it is in China and India. Their work ethic is strong and improving. CHina graduates 30% engineers to our less than 6%. We are more interested in graduating MBAs and lawyers.

The financial moguls of the world know this. So, they would favor the acceleration of the decline of America and get on with the rise of the Chinese and Indian economies, which have a combined near 2 billion people, nearly 7X that of the USA. Obama, who is in league with the Bilderberg group, could be accelerating the decline of the USA auto industry in favor of accelerating the rise of the CHinese auto industry.

If you don't believe this could be possible, tell me that any business analyst worth their salt couldn't calculate the break even point of general motors, Ford, et al, and wouldn't know what cash flow would look like running at below 60% of capacity? They knew it would be curtains if it ran on too long. They might as well turn it into a profitable situation producing cars in China sooner rather than later.

America is turning into a nation of consumers and distributors and retailers. Stick a fork in any real value added. The only things that will stay here are things that MUST be done close to home for strategic, perishability or cost reasons. I did a study on this back in 2003. Petroleum refining, food processing are two industries that will largely stay here. Electronics, parts manufacturing will go elsewhere. Auto assembly might stay here for more expensive cars due to transportation taxes and currency change risks. If the BIlderbergs and their buddies get their way with the New World Order, we will have one world government, bank and currency so the tax issues and the currency issues go away.

Here's the warning America: Consume only and you will use things up and go into more debt and become someone else's slave. Add value and you will grow and remain your own master. You can't just sit on top of the world giving orders to the "producers and laborer countries". Eventually they will start giving the orders. You have to own the means of adding value and secure it.

Maybe this is the point of the whole thing. A Black Man in Power with us as white slaves. The payback thing.

      • TexasMama says:

I think we need to get over the whole black/white thing. We need to realize this is a Progressive Master Plan kind of thing. They will "reinvent" America and it will, just as history shows over and over again, take the next generation or two (or 10) of being crushed for awhile and realizing something is wrong. Then, they go back, read how their ancestors were free and how the principles and values lead to freedom and prosperity to rebel and regain their country. This works for some stories in history, but other nations/civilizations are just too far gone to rebuild (ref: Rome). Hopefully, we'll not wait too long as a country, or the redefinition of America will be permanent.

      • CULATR2 says:

I don't think it has anything to do with a black man in power as payback. He's actually doing the bidding of a bunch of white people who want to accelerate the decline of the USA in favor of growing the rest of thew world which has greater potential.

It's too late for me to pick a career, but I tell ya, I wouldn't know what to tell a young person today. Before people had a chance to even finsh the basic education, they had already outsourced those jobs or brought foreigners in. I have one in college with a questionable outcome and another not knowing what to do. It's alot of money to shell out, or pay back, if there's no real clue where we're going.

    • TexasMama says:

Isn't that one of the biggest questions: what do we do to pay the bills while fighting the tyranny of the government which is trying to destroy all individual wealth? It's a total conundrum.

      • CULATR2 says:

Become an international employee. Corporations that have globalized are in good position going forward. Those with revenues that are too dependent on domestic USA are in worse shape. Those with high fixed costs and slim margins are in real trouble if they also are too dependent on demand from the USA.

Take international assignments. Learn other languages like French and German, Japanese and Chinese. Most Indian businessmen learn English so you won't have to learn that.

        H. R. 985 "Free Flow of Information"
This bill, if passed "would prohibit federal employees of executive branch from being compelled to release any document unless a court makes a specified determination by a preponderance of evidence"

"It wouldn't surprise me a bit if this were one of the intended consequences of this legislation," said Joseph Farah, who last week initiated a national billboard campaign to bring attention to the issue of Obama's missing birth certificate and what it might say about his claim to be a "natural born citizen," a status necessary to serving in the White House.

"In any case, this bill puts the lie to this administration and this Congress being the most ethical and transparent in American history," Farah said. "They're very open when it comes to the secrets of previous administrations, but when it comes to their own work, it is shrouded in secrecy. Even Obama's birth certificate and student records are well-guarded state secrets."

If congress was to start derailing that train now some of them might and I do stress "might" keep their jobs.

BillSrong; The elections were rigged, and besides the Democrats direct corruption, one of Obama's radical groups has played a huge part in corruption. and that is ACORN. You will hear more and more about this group in the future. It has manipulated elections starting perhaps around 1992, but was caught red handed in 2004 by, among other things, creating new voters that were dead, or madeup, with the same address, and then voting these ballets. ACORN is hard to track, because there are about 268 sub-organizations associated with ACORN, that can do things like money-laundering ect.

When will Obama figure out that rushing his legislation/bank/auto company/social policies/foreign policies etc.. through too quickly will be his, and the Dems downfall. Obama has well entrenched himself in the "there is never enough time to do it right but there is always time to do it over" paradox in hope that it can't be reversed and he can tweak it later. 50. OFP says:

Finally someone who gets it right about the adverse effects of all of this reckless deficit spending by the Obama administration:

“But the long-term deficit and debt that we have accumulated is unsustainable. We can't keep on just borrowing from China, or borrowing from other countries — because part of it is, we have to pay for — we have to pay interest on that debt. And that means that we're mortgaging our children's future with more and more debt, but what's also true is that at some point they're just going to get tired of buying our debt. "

"And when that happens, we will really have to raise interest rates to be able to borrow, and that will raise interest rates for everybody — on your auto loan, on your mortgage, on — so it will have a dampening effect on the economy.”

    • TexasMama says:

I was totally amazed by his statements, until I realized that he said those things because: 1) the real American people already believe that and so he is just parroting what we have said, and 2) China has stopped buying our debt for the most part, so he wants to make it seem like it's HIS idea to stop selling our debt to them. Then, it appears that he has made yet another good call for the good of the progressive moveme…oh, sorry, I mean the country. Just like when he said he was going to release the photos of prisoners in Gitmo, and then right before he goes to Egypt, he "consults" the military and they tell him that it will incite hatred of America all over again and potential violence. Way to keep our men and women in uniform in danger and then flip when it may impact you, B.

      • OFP says:

I agree with you. BO does seem to give a speech that everyone agrees with, examples: we must defeat terrorism, we must not waste tax money, we must have ethical government, etc. anything that nobody can disagree with. But the problem is that BO does not mean it.

Cheney does and speaks with the expertise and enthusiasm of a genuine patriot.

      • Jerseygal says:

John McCain was the first to coin the phrase 'mortgaging our children's future' and also called it 'generational theft.' He takes what is successful for his opponents and claims it as his own. He's done this all along. He is a pathetic copy of the genius of others.

Kay Bailey Hutcheson is going up against Gov Rick Perry in the next election here in Texas, she wants a hearing on the fifity Chrysler Dealerships on the list to be closed. Savvy move because this issue will be brought up along with the Cap and Trade fiasco and everything else they have been using for putty to mold their new world up there in Washington. Folks, CHANGE she is a comin' but it's not going to be the change Obama hoped for. People are awakening from their politically induced sleep. One cannot allow those without business intuition and education to run a business and expect success. And as we have all witnessed, this is what happens when those in office attempt to manipulate the economy without knowledge of macroeconomics, a longer resession, a waste of taxpayer money, higher taxes, and bills that will continue to crush growth in its tracks. We will see change in 2010 and I think someone in the Senate just woke up to that very reality.

    • tvlgds says:

I don't like Perry, but I cannot vote for Hutcheson.

      • TXTJ says:

I know. I think every state is in a limbo type emotion right now. Where to go and what to do, who is best, delete the worst. I have met Hutcheson while working for a pilot program for the state. She is a compassionate caring person and asks intellegent questions. But just another politician. They all are. I have no idea where to go from here but we need to figure it out quickly. I think for Texas we have to look forward, we have people moving here by the droves, which is excellent, we have businesses holding strong and a Republic to be proud of, but the future is where they need to be focusing. Because I see it as a vastly changing landscape out there and we must be ready for it here in Texas.

    • TexasMama says:

So, here's the thing…i don't believe Hutcheson any more than I do Perry. I called her office (which we probably all know is mostly busy signals until you, by luck, get a free line) and told her staffers that she needs to focus on the issues at hand and stop the whole Governor thing for now. I got the, "The senator hasn't even officially announced her decision to run," which is just echos the same thing tvlgds wrote about.

I have also called to speak with my state senator to find out more about the state's rights/sovereignty bill (which they didn't even know about and which was killed in the house) , and guess what gang, they are all hopped up on the stimulus spending high and the staffer in charge of health and human services said, "I just wish we could do more," and is become more and more like the current federal admin. I also asked this same staffer if she knew what the feds were up to and she said that they were just so busy with the issues at hand that they didn't have time to even watch the news. My jaw dropped almost to the floor and I said, "Well, don't worry, you guys won't be very busy when you get back in session, since everything will be nationalized by the time you get back and they won't even need you guys anymore," and then I hung up.

Texas doesn't feel the economy *quite* as badly as some of the rest of the country, yet, but I feel it's coming and so many will be crying out, "Why didn't anyone tell us???" Our founders told us straight up that the Constitution will only work if people are responsible and fulfill the duties that come with freedoms, and that doesn't include having a nanny state. We need to clear out our Texas legislators as well as the feds.

      • TXTJ says:

HERE-HERE well said Texasmama, I can never get a free line to Hutcheson's office, you are lucky to have gotten through even after multiple attempts, I think they take the phone off the hook. Well I did not know that the soverignty bill went teats up. But I did read from Perry's spokesperson that the Dems in office were seriously messing with him over the bill, his budget and the secession comment at the tea party. I realize we are not feeling the recession as hard as some and you are right, it is coming and oh man are we going to hear about it. Imagine if Cap and Trade is passed and then hits the state right in the gut. People are going to freak. When they get an eight hundred dollar electric bill from the 110 degree heat in the Summer I imagine in the uproar no one will attempt to listen when the rest of us say, we tried to warn you. Good people here in Texas though, and they turn just the opposite when they are hacked off. Well see what happens. I say out with the old and in with the new.

Now since we know it won't be long before they can't see daylight again, this is the time for us to fire off as many messages to congress as possible in hopes that they will be read. The congress needs to shut BHO down and they can do that by pulling back all the funding including the TARP money and force the economy to reset itself. It may be ugly for a short term but it won't be as ugly as it would be if we continue on the path we are on. Congress has the power to do this otherwise we would have a dictatorship. I just don't know if they have the balls to do it. If they were to do this, some of them might survive another term, providing they can come up with a plan that WE THE PEOPLE agree with. If they were to play there cards right they could keep BHO under wraps until he is replaced.

This will be a death sentence for our country. It will slowly move every industry out of the market because we will not be able to compete with other nations.

Just like the rich leaving New York, the businesses will move to a better environment. I just spoke to a small manufacturer from Washington who is relocating to Anguilla. No income tax, no FICA withholdings that have to be matched and inexpensive health insurance. You have to like it plus the weather is a bit better. They only had 20 employee.

Now they are in bankruprcy anyway, and BH0 is firing CEOs, giving Chrysler to the Italians and the unions, and demanding dealership closings. Everyone involved is playing fast and loose with their stock shares and secured lenders. The bottom line is that every taxpayer gets screwed and rescrewed at every turn. AND the gov't continues to finance this insanity!!!! BH0 says he is not interested in running car companies, but his actions say he is! Time out is right, only phrased wrong. Gov't should take the 'time' to thoroughly get 'out' of the way and let these companies run themselves!!!! As bad as that may be, they are better than the gov't at it.

With roughly 300Mil Americans that's $13.30 they took from each of us. I am lost as to why American's don't see this? How do we stop this? How do we get back to the Constitution and Law? I feel lost, the Congress doesn't listen to the people anymore, hell, they don't even read the Bills they've approved. Can we last until the elections in 2010 and then "flush" the Congress and start over? I don't know, I just don't know.

      • gsteinbacher says:

Thats actually a lot more then $13.30 each. I know you are being optomistic but consider all the unemployment, all the retired people, all the people who just don't pay taxes (we can name a few of those quickly) and the people on Obama care, you are probably looking closer to the actual people that are paying taxes about $133.00 each And I may be being optomistic.

Why should he slow down, as long as he pushes and rushes things through, it doesn't give the American people a chance to see what's going on. Example, a 1000+ page Porkulus bill, nobody has read, the Cap and Tax bill, 900+ pages, they used a speed reader to read the Bill in committee, as if to say scre* the American people, even Waxman said he doesn't know what's in it. If BH0 slows, down, then he is in trouble and he knows it. Another reason to rush is that come 2010, he may loose any support he has in Congress, BUT the programs will be in place and America will be changed forever, changed for the worst.

I am still having problems understanding the so called “deal” for Chrysler and GM where bond and preferred stock holders, who are (or represent) average American pension plan holders, are forced to go to the rear of the line in favor of UAW pensioners.

This is causing a ripple effect for future investors who are wary of investing in a company that BO may nationalize and hand over to a union.

Only in a BO mentality would the labor unions end up owning a majority of stock in a publically traded company. BO has a death grip on capitalism.

  65. fox 2/5 says:

Oh boy. Another 11 billion dollars to go to General Motors. Nothing make me more happy. Approx. $30 billion of tax payer money going to two bankrupt companies, GM and Chrysler. We should just open the toilet lid, pour in some more money and flush. We were told we would get that money back, and with interest. Now bankruptcy. It seems pretty fair for the hard working car company owners and their employees to be shut down with no notice at all. So much for creating and "saving" 3-5 million jobs. Maybe some of the UAW should be the ones to go, at least some of their salaries. I wish some of these CEO's and or business owners would stand up to this administration and say screw you. Who are you to tell me how to run my business. Their taxes are going to be hiked up anyway, which means these companies will pass on the those costs to the consumer. This is a warning to all companies and states that want stimulus money from this administration. They say there are no strings attached, but one by one they find out there are. The CEO of GM gets fired by Obama. Chrysler gets it's advertisement cut by Obama. I wish these companies would be more prideful in the vehicles they make. Three years/ 30,000 miles warranties while Hyundai, Toyota, Honda and Kia, mostly back their vehicles by 10 years/ 100,000 warranties. Maybe some of these Auto Companies can back there cars by having a longer warranty. Which one would you buy. I drive a Dodge by the way. One would think that if these people would have confidence and pride in their product, they assembly and provide to the American people, their warranties would match. One day the people of this county will wake up, hopefully it is not to late. Business owners, big and small, need to stand up. No more new taxes and bailouts.

God bless those who have fought for this Country and who have lost their lives doing so. Please take time this weekend to thank a vet. Semper Fi

I spent the entire day yesterday writing to these idiots, on both sides of the aisle.

    • gsteinbacher says:

I send out messages all the time. Problem being my represetatves all though not perfect (South Carolina) are pretty much on board for derailing the BHO train. Although it doesn't hurt to let them know you are with them.

I have tried sending out messages to others in congress some you can get too, most say if you are not one of their people they don't want to hear from you (most of those are Democrats) Maybe I should make up some fake address with the right zip code just not keen on being dishonest.

      • RitaWestTX says:

Yah, like all of THOSE kooks aren't "not keen on being dishonest" !!!

Damn, make up an address for their area and send it, OR if you know someone who lives in their area, send it to them and have them send it off so the postmark has the right zip.

    • Zymogene says:

So much too fast and no time to even see if anything he's planning works. So far it looks like a bad train wreck and you aren't going to gain any of the trust of the people without seeing something positive from the actions. I mean just coz he says so and give him more time, just doesn't cut it. He has squat for experience, he has nothing under his belt to even warrent trust in any of his moves. He seriously has to stop and step back, because 4 years is alot of time to do alot of damage we may never recover from.

First, i thought that auto dealers were independent contractors who purchased vehicles from the manufacturer. Yes, they are a franchise. but not owned be the maker. How does the manufacturer benifit by closing dealerships?
Second, Obama is turning the US auto industry into import/insurance companies. They will import vehicles from thier overseas parent companies and spend thier profits providing health ins to the retired UAW workers. So much for a US auto industry, not to mention the jobs.

  69. NancyNurse says:

One of these lawmakers should be charging him with high crimes and misdeamors and impeach this idiot. He IS like a bull in a china shop. No one ever envisioned the kind of free fall we'd all be in at this stage last year.

    • nikali says:

If everyone would take time out and read THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDANCE an THE CONSTITUTION of THE UNITED STATES they would clearly see the reason for the revolution at that time. The scary thing is the grounds that we based the Declaration on are the same acts that the Obama administration and congress are doing against America and its people now. These documents also make it very clear that the powers of the government and size are in our hands not thiers and that the government can be removed by THE PEOPLE. It is time for America to take action and put the power of government back in the hands of the people. To all those who made so many sacrifices protecting the Constitution and America, THANK YOU. God Bless America

    • Islandsox says:

Like that student that was on Cavuto yesterday who voted for Obama, thought he was the answer to all of our prayers, and that he used to listen to MSNBC but has now come to his senses, is a FOX listener, and he was livid about the massive spending and now the credit card debaucle coming to your mailbox soon. Cavuto reminded him that Obama said he was going to spread the wealth and this student said he didn't know he would go that far though. This student was truly pissed and is now against Obama completely. There are probably lots of stories like this out there; buyer's remorse. Message is getting out which is a good thing.

  70. Mimatt says:

I want him to take an early retirement. Like tomorrow.

But unfortunately, that would leave us with Biden. And Pelosi as veep – I shudder at the very thought.

    • OldMarine says:

No it won't, if BH0 leaves office, Biden becomes President, and he nominates a Veep. Queen Bee would become President only if both BH0 and Biden were not able to continue.

    • Zymogene says:

LOL….not a very promising option. Bad, worse and worst.

    • It's amazing how true the statement is "it could only get worse". So is "better the enemy you know". Except that we KNOW Biden. Ugh.

    • tvlgds says:

Botox Barbie would not automatically be Veep if Biden was Pres. He'd choose his own—it's not an automatic step from Speaker of the House to veep. She's 3rd in line for pres (God forbid!!) but not successor as VP.

    • triper57 says:

Let Biden be President. He can't lead himself out the door. No direction is better than the direction we're going.

  71. Tandab says:

All children and newbies need a time out, once in a while.

  72. kjdent says:

I personally would also like a "time out" from this crazy train!

  73. cajunpatriot says:

Congress is starting to read the writing on the wall and they realize that if Obama keeps on he is going to take them along with him into the political abyss. Never forget a politicans first priority is to get re-elected, although for many they don't realize it's already to late.

  74. Texan2 says:

"Time outs" are for unruly children, what is needed from these concerned Congressmen to stop this socialist/marxist/statist from changing the Nation as we know it is a very loud, very strong, unified public denouncement of his policies, and a declaration of support for The Constitution and our founding principals.

    • geann says:

Well you won't get that from this Congress. Most of the libs don't seem to care very much about the Constitution or the rule of law. They're too self-serving to care about any of the rest of us. Vote them out in 2010 and vote the rest out in 2012.

  75. chevy400 says:

as a demolition equipment operator its more like a bulldozer in a china shop

  76. mwb1951 says:

Members of Congress telling the President to slow down? Who would have thought?
It won't go anywhere. Ultimately, the President will do what he darn well pleases. His Democratic cohorts will allow him to do whatever. He's like a bull in a china shop. He's so caught up in making changes that he's destroying rather than fixing. SHEESH! What a mess.

  77. tvlgds says:

We're all sick of politicians. I agree with Hutcheson on some things and initially thought I'd vote for her, but with the constant flip flopping on the illegal alien issue, she ticked me off. I have tons of letters back from her office stating her stance as one thing, then her actions totally belied what she was spewing. We need to get rid of all the politicians and start over with real people! If we get the right people moving here in droves, we'll be in good shape, but the invasion from the south isn't helping us one bit and that's one thing I want STOPPED!

  78. TXTJ says:

Agreed. We have cast away our chances to stop the invasion time and time again, I think that it may come to a lawsuit to demand upholding the constiutional law of, the government will protect against enemies foreign and domestic. There is ample statistics across the nation as to what illegal immigration does to our nation, compare that with how much they remove from the coffers with what they actually pay in and those borders are closed. Remove and disband ACORN to prevent voter fraud and we may see a change. We have to keep Texas from following a blind path, we are not doing too bad, but we sure could be doing better.

  79. eaglesden says:

I agree 100% with you. What we need to do is to flood our state capital with phone calls, emails and snail mail telling them that we want to do what Oklahoma did.

  80. gsteinbacher says:

Get the right independent in there and I am sure he will win. I personally did not see the right one last time

  81. Jerseygal says:

An Independent candidate for the next election will be the best insurance that BH0 gets a 2nd term….Learn from the history of 3rd party candidates and their effect. They take most of the votes from the independent block, and most of the remaining from the Republican block, and a negligible few from the Democrats.

BH0 is likely praying for a 3rd party candidate. McCain may as well have been a 3rd party candidate, so let stop trying the same experiment and expecting different results. I do not care how many thumbs down I get on this one. History tells me I am right.

  82. OFP says:

The Repubs do not have a party leader and the front runners for the next nomination are reluctant to step forward this early. If Dick Cheney continues to make his ideas known, maybe that will inspire an unknown candidate to step forward. That is what the DEMS did. Who is Obama? BO did not win the last election, McCain lost it. If there had of been a legitimate liberal third party candidate to split the liberal vote, then it may have been a different story. Some would then say there would have been three liberals in the race instead of two.

  83. tvlgds says:

The one I saw showed his race as "African." In 1961, it would have been "Negroid." African is not a race anyway.

  84. OFP says:

I agree. We changed our website premise from tracking “DEMS” to “enhancing the media's poor memory where we will track all of the professional career politician's broken promises.”

Both parties have abused us and it may be time to go independent. The only problem is I hope a third party does not split the conservative vote and let the libs rule forever.

  85. Jerseygal says:

You are right – that elections was McCain's to lose. Hillary said it best in one of the early debates, about bringing experience to the presidency, '…and Senator Obama will bring a speech he gave in 2002.' I do not think a liberal 3rd party candidate gets anywhere before the Dems get to him/her. The left wants Cheney to shut up. So he should keep talking. He knows that the Repubs must stop taking advice from the Dems.

  86. Grandmar247 says:

You are right!!!! That's how Clinton got elected. If another Candidate enters the debate, Barack Obama wins again. Many are saying that Newt Gingrich should run for President. We need a 'VIABLE' Candidate and someone who can hold their own in a Debate with Barack Obama. I'm in favor of Newt Gingrich.

  87. Grandmar247 says:

The Republican Party has always been known as the 'Gentlemen's Party'. Well, I say it's time to be the 'Fighting Party' and stop trying to be 'Politically Correct' and tell it like it is.

  88. RIGHT ON….Newt would wipe the floor with Thief in Chief!
