1. Well, it really wasn't that big of a secret

3. The media misquoted him and took it all out of context
4. We are all racists and bigots so leave him alone already!
5. Just ignore it and it will go away
6. It's not that big of a news story so there is no need to report it

People have gone to prison for less. The media just gives lip service to the breach in National Security basically passing it off as a harmless gaff. Pelosi calling the CIA liars,Biden giving out claasified intel, our own Government is our worst enemy, but the true failure I'm afraid is that nothing will be done about it.
Pelosi and Biden get passes because they have a "D" next to their name. If they had an "R" next to their name it would be front page news all day long and on every network newscast and cable news program. But as long as we are dealing with the drive-by media, we'll never get real journalism. When one does not see his political position as important or true, those words come easily and often. And, someone with more words follows behind to correct and repent what the previous words damaged. After all, if the Commander-In-cheif feels they are "just words, just speeches" then words to this administration are nothing more than letters placed together with no emotional affiliation and have no attachment to the safety and prevelence of this country. A memorandum written by a staffer for Sen. John D. Rockefeller IV of West Virginia, the top Democrat on the committee, suggested Democrats use those special privileges to drive their own political agenda for attacking the administration.
"We have an important role to play in the revealing the misleading – if not flagrantly dishonest methods and motives – of the senior administration officials who made the case for a unilateral, preemptive war," the memo writer said, adding that Democrats should "pull the trigger on an independent investigation" next year, when the president is running for re-election.
The memo was leaked to Fox News Channel earlier this week.
So far, though, Democratic leaders have not backed down, with Mr. Rockefeller having said the memo was an internal communication in his office that expresses how frustrated staffers are at the way the investigation is progressing.
Mr. Rockefeller's office did not return a call for comment yesterday evening but Senate Minority Whip Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat, questioned how the memo came to light.
"This memo that has been talked about was somehow stolen from the offices of Senator Rockefeller and his people that work in the intelligence committee," he said.
"The information that is spoken of in the Intelligence Committee, the memos, letters, and other information that is in the Intelligence Committee, has to remain secret," he said. "That wasn't done in this instance."

Joe Biden would probably learn to be a little more careful with his words if the media pounced on it every time he slipped up. But it seems like he never will as long as the mainstream media protects him, even when what were once harmless gaffes have now become quite serious slip-ups. We can only hope that he will now cultivate some prudence.
Again we have seen the extreme bitterness to the previous administration rear its ugly face. When will this administration move on and not either try to blame everything on Bush and Cheney or, in this case reveal classified info that might put the life of the VP in jeopardy. This should give the late-night comedians more ammunition. Way to go Joe BIden, you are surely the gift that keeps giving. On Saturday Night Live, George Bush said he had wished he had a Biden, since Biden makes any president look far more intelligent. But seriously, it does appear that liberals cannot keep secrets. Just a short while ago was it not the case that liberals wanted George Bush's head for releasing info that Valerie Plame was a CIA agent putting her in peril? Well, there were multiple problems with that one. The writer who outed Plame was Robert Novak who said on Fox News that his source was Richard Armitage. But liberals don't want it to be Armitage, so Scooter Libby goes to jail and the liberals want Bush – even though we already have the answer who it was. But the NY times releases secrets and we say fine. Obama released CIA secrets and we say fine. The ACLU wants more. And Democrats release AIG names putting their lives in peril and we say fine. And now Biden tells how VPs stay alive during an attack likely also giving out maps and GPS coordinates to the enemy.

So, with the media comfortably placed in his back pocket, Obama moved on to do a little fundraising… because with all the people struggling right now, apparently Obama would rather raise money for his political agenda than donate it to a homeless shelter or something. What a guy.
