I've been watching Glen's thing on Acorn. I think we should all drop a line to Govenor Bobby Jindal and ask him to have his people investigate the 270 businesses located in that little building. The federal government isn't going to do anything since the majority are in bed with acorn, but a nice conservative govenor could get a ball rolling on what' legal and illegal things are taking place. I think we really need to get to the bottom of this. If the CIA is lying (which I doubt) we should know it. Pelosi looked so ridiculous yesterday – you could tell she was guilty – no one acts like she did who is telling the truth. She does not possess the same trait as O when speaking truth or lies. He should have loaned her one of his teleprompters for the speech.
She needs to step up and tell the truth and take the consequences – whatever they may be. That's the right thing to do.
She had other things on her mind for goodness sakes. She had a congress to gain the majority over and a war to fight, how was she suppose to focus on what was best for our country ? Looks to me like the snake den is starting to slither.

It seems with Social Security and Medicare about to run out of money that we should assume that the costs of universal health care will also go up as our population ages. If we cant pay for the entitlements we have now, how will we ever pay for new ones.

We here, all knew the Congress was working behind the scenes to get BO elected; hence, no proof of his citizenship. I thought the Congress was elected to be lawmakers, not getting people elected.
Somewhere the conquest of power has superceded all else for those who seek public office. Once upon a time when this great American experiment was started, people understood that balance was needed to keep power in check. It seems that all but a very few in either party actually understands what their jobs are and what their priorities should be. Even before reading Pelosi's comments on what she believes her job to be, I realized that Most politicians are putting power and party before God and Country. The only difference these days is the republicans seem to do a better job of hiding their motives from the conservatives and the Democrats are masters of guiseing their intentions for the liberals and impoverished. We need to start over, completely wipe congress, and purge the senate. rid ourselves of every last one of them and start over. Insist on term limits and sequester our public servents from the filth that is the lobbying body in D.C.
For eight years we listened to the swill about the right being in bed with big oil Halliburton and everything. Now we see GE, The labor unions, ACCORN and the likes rushing in to fill the void. Perhaps decentralize the legislture for most of the year so they can better understand the needs of their constituants? We really need to start electing people who are independant and limit the roles of the national parties in electing our representatives. Maybe then when there's not millions of dollars of campaign money at stake they will listen to the voices of those who elected them and not just toe the party lines. Its not about policy any more its all about power and reelection Just look at the creep who switched parties cause he thinks his chances are better to win. I've said it before and I'll say it again. While it's a good thing that Obama won't release the pictures,right now,hang in there. They will come out. Obama could sign an executive order to stop them. Instead, he's going to take it back to the court and the court may well rule in favor of the ACLU and the pictures will be out there. Meanwhile, Obama can smirk and say "well, I tried". Don't forget that he goes to Egypt soon………..can you say Muslim country anyone? Pray hard for our service men and women.

You know what? I am soooo over this! Personally, I don't care what the Bush Administration and the CIA did to keep me safe. I've had 6 grandchildren born since 9/11 and I'm so thankful that my 3 young families and I didn't have to run to hills for cover like I did during 9/11. Of course, MSM will not publish her atrocities for everyone to see. MSM makes me physically ill, hopefully, a vast majority is watching FOX news or reading it. CNN had nothing I could readily find on it, and MSNBC actually twisted it in her favor. How do we the people fight the MSM? I do not watch any programs on their channels, and if more people simply boycotted them by not watching, maybe they would get the idea. After all, half of this country and possibly more then half, are against the current government as it now stands. The entire Country that were eligible to vote, did not get out and vote, so the only votes counting were the one's that did vote. ACORN hand carried half of the dem voters to the polls. I do not miss regular television, preferring to watch FOX, A&E, Discovery, National Geographic, and even True TV.
Just another thought THis whole Universal healthcare thing. Please tell me if I missed something. The government wants to provide coverage for like 45 million families without healthcare, I as a taxpayer will be paying for that. Also. if I want to I can choose to pay the premiums for my own plan (if my company elects to keep that option available to me), and be taxed on the plan if I choose to keep it? I thought Obama easn't raising taxes on those of us making under 250K um 235K um???K.
The cool thing about the CIA is, they will get Pelosi and BO by leaks….they will get them, and I hope the CIA is looking for BO's birth certificate.

Personally I think this is all answers to the prayers of citizens to get things set right. I think the silent majority may have been speaking out a bit more than usual lately, but I am convinced they have not been so silent with the God of their understanding. I happen to be a Christian and in there somewhere I think Paul had some advice. It was something to the effect of "don't be afraid but to watch and pray". According to that, If I didn't mess it up, we should be privy to watching a really spectacular show.

Does it surprise anyone that Nancy Pelosi would try to squirm and deflect her way out of her 'jam' by blaming the CIA (who I really don't trust that much) about the now inconsequential matter of if she was told about water boarding BEFORE or AFTER it was really used. Who cares? The fact was, she was briefed directly and did NOTHING to stop it, making her duplicitous in any 'crime' that she is trying to manufacture against Bush/Cheney. What was really hilarious today was Robert Gibb's response to the press about his boss reversing the decision to release the photos…he stuttered and stammered for 10 minutes until…he was saved by all the cell phones going off…he then made a scene (and bought some time) by chastising and confiscating a phone from one of the press. You have a real sense here of how this administration weaves and waffles around issues of the day…and uses distractions to their advantage.

Possible but imho, This is just another cover his a—move, he acts like he did not want this to happen by reversing his decision on the photos , citing National Security issues! These pictures just like the pictures from Abu Ghraib will be leaked and published. If not leaked the court will say release them. The damage is still done to the U.S.A. . Of course the ACLU is disagreeing with
the decision so the progressives are pacified, the ACLU will rage on. Goal met, President Obama comes out without a scratch and praise from his followers.

In recent news on this subject of detainee abuse, Today, 5/13 obama announced he would not allow release of the pictures of abuse because they would "inflame anti american feelings" and possible put Americans in danger. Man, this guy is really creative at using Rules for Radicals, his mentor Saul Alinsky's book.
This is a very skillful and subtle use of Rules for Radicals rule #1 Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.
In this case, the enemy combatants will think these pictures are SO BAD that they will make them worse in their own minds and justify hitting us again. The impact could actually be WORSE than if you released them. "I'm thinking of releasing pictures of detainee abuse". "Er, never mind, they are really BAD, so BAD that I am afraid they will royally tick off our enemies".
Way to go, BO. You should have never said anything in the first place. But since you did, you set the whole thing up. Just like you intended.

Part 1: To all Americans, please stop and think, this whole torture/not torture crap that is being put out by the left is nothing more than a subfudge(sp). It is a way for them to keep Pres. I think there is more to this story than we think. Obamas reversal on the release of the pictures is not for the reason many are reading into it.
I think the pictures are not as sensational we are led to believe and will not carry the punch the ACLU desires. What is implied by the refusal to release them is that the photos are hideous and damning. A picture may speak a thousand words but the imagination paints a thousand pictures. Not only is the purpose of implied inhumanity served but BHO also gets to pretend he is at odds with the ACLU…NOT.

I don't care what they say, but if they themselves were put in the position of having to make the decision to save lives, they would make the same call. As a Marine recruit I was put in full gear with a metal simulated rifle and made to swim around a pool until I couldn't swim anymore. I went to the bottom not expecting to make it back up. I was out but not for long they pulled me from the clutch of death and I finished bootcamp as the Honor man for my platoon. Waterboarding is not any worse than that and It saved thousands of lives. The deception is what they are doing behind our backs while we keep looking at waterboarding. Pelosi is just flat disgusting and I'll say it again I can't waite to contribute to her competition next year and I'm not from California.

It seems to me that if they stood up and owned up to allowing "torture" with the caveat that this was during a time of extreme fear for the safety of Americans and that they did this to protect the nation, this whole thing would just go away. No thinking American would fault anyone for doing this.

Can you imagine how are fine men on the battle field must be feeling, knowing that if the enemy appears to surrender, what do you do? Do you shoot them or do you actually capture them, knowing that they will get better treatment then you will when you return to the States?
