  1. My questions have yet to be addressed:

    Who REQUESTED the flight?
    Who DEFINED the mission?

We all know the Caldera was to be thrown under the bus from day one as the man to AUTHORIZE the flight. Authorizing, planning and executing orders are not the same as INITIATING the action.

Where's the guest list? Where there any passengers on board AF1? If there was a VIP guest list, I want to know who made up the guest list and passed out the peanuts.

Can anybody envision a scenario like this?

"Just like the Lincoln Bedroom, only better….yippeeeeee!"

Pay for play could be taking on a whole new meaning.

    • Suzz says:

Let me ask you this…..if no one knew about this…..why hasn't anyone brought about the fact no one called for help like Bloomberg. If we were attacked wouldn't there have been airforce planes there in seconds….asking for a response from the plane….I just cannot put the pieces together……If no one knew…the skies should have been filled with back up….well at least I hoped it would have happened if there were a real attack….What is going on……

  2. TXTJ says:

This is a personal opinion of course, but one, the President MUST know at all times where his plane is and where it will be, that includes the AFOne back-up plane. The plane(s) do not move without his authorization. Otherwise he is not in control. Anyone, working on this so-called project could have easily guessed that a fly-over mission that low would spark controversy and fear in anyone withnessing it from the ground. My personal guess is Rahm Emanuel gave the go ahead on this as he does many things, and Obama can say with a straight face, even make jokes about it, and move about like he has done nothing wrong. In the end, if there is controversy, the person putting a mission like this together is forced to resign because Rahm Emanuel will always cover his acts, and easily say, well you never got authorization directly from the president so we'll just say you went off on your own. It's the typical mob-rule line of authority, where the very top is secure from fault or blame..

  3. Can anyone see people running on the ground on the released photos?

    • TaxiDude says:

Surely you jest. But, you can see them running and hear them screaming from fear in the videos. Maybe at the next Correspondents Dinner they can joke about it.

  4. TaxiDude says:

Mr. President, I have a question that none of the press corps will be willing to ask…. if you were so outraged over Air Force One buzzing NYC that Caldera was dumped, how is it that you made a joke about it at the Correspondents Dinner? It really wasn't funny.

  5. If "freaking" out a city requires a resignation what about "freaking" out a nation? When are they going to ask Pelosi, Reid and Biden to resign?

  6. Jerseygal says:

I know what you mean. Anyone I've given e-mail to has been told not to send me every silly thing they receive, and so far so good.

    • OldMarine says:

Oh I get them to, but they are friends, and before I even think about forwarding them I check them. Needless to say I get the jokes, stories etc. I read and check them before They go out, some are men only, others family friendly.

  7. Only one person has the authority to order his plane to move. The fact that he is blaming someone else shows how foolish the American people can be when they believe him.

  8. I discovered the real purpose of the flyover; see the story here:

    http://thephotofinisher.com/politics/audacity-of-...

It took them a while to release the ONE photograph because they had to Photo Shop out the new paint job.

  9. bobhertz says:

And now he makes that supid comment at the Dinner… trying to laugh off the fact that he wasted so much money, scared NYC and now covered up yet another blunder. Lies, spin, lies, blame Bush for everything and strong arming….thats the Obama way

  10. bobhertz says:

This is utter BS…what if there would have been a National Crisis? What if Obama would have needed to get out of DC fast? Wouldnt he need Air Force One? I dont buy for one minute that he didnt know.

  11. acheyjake says:

I thought of a fantastic way to freak out most of the people in New York, not just New York City. We could have the OU Sooner/Texas Longhorn football game played in NYC instead of Dallas every year and we could allow only Longhorn and Sooner fans to buy the tickets to the game.

It would be an awesome sight to see. Tens of thousands of Sooner and Longhorn fans descending on NYC for that October classic.

The New Yorkers would be screaming, "Martians, Martians, run for your lives everybody"!

    Such a happy thought.

  12. patriotmom09 says:

I don't recall where I heard this, but someone made a good guess that perhaps this was an "in your face Wall St. vs White House" moment. Sort of a visual flexing of muscle and a early foreshadowing of things to come for the citizens. We can scare you whenever we wish.

  13. acheyjake says:

So just exactly what is it that you want to debate RNhunter?

Are you a healthcare industry recruiter looking for RNs?

  14. OldMarine says:

You're probality right, but maybe, just maybe someone with more power then I will do their job and check into it.

  15. Illustrus says:

Caldera seems to be the fall guy on this but also (after reading that article) clearly the US military is to blame. After all Obama could never be dumb enough to plan something out so badly, no, no, no. It must have been one of those uneducated knuckle dragging violent military types that he just has to endure as president.
Just one more reason to get them out of the loop and replace them with his civilian corps.
Seriously though, this just shows the sheer amount of arrogance that this administration possesses. "We can do whatever we want and not only will there never be any consequences, but when things go wrong it is someone elses fault."
    We are officially with stupid

  16. Texan2 says:

I didn't fall off the taco wagon yesterday Obama….only one of your mind-numbed robots would believe a low-level aide could of orchestrated Air Farce One's flyby of NYC WITHOUT your knowledge…..as to the ONE photgraph you have deigned to offer us plebs….again, I didn't fall off the taco wagon yesterday. 1) 300+K for a photo with a nasty glare at the 1:00 position? 2) no apparent distortion from the curved canopy of the figter jet? Let's for the sake of TRANSPERANCY offer us access to the pilots involved, all manifests and orders and a list of passengers (if any).

  17. RNHunter says:

As I recall, did anyone give George Bush a pass as not knowing about Abu Graib, lack of WMD (questionable there was nothing since Iraq had used chemical weapons in the past on Kurds and buried some planes in the desert), or firing of 10 lawyers? (even when Clinton had fired 93 and no one cared). Nope, Bush haters say the man at the top should take the fall. Odd that now that Obama is in, the tone seems quite different. As David Letterman states, Obama is so perfect that it leaves people only to complain about lint on his suit. But then again, I suspect Dave is like Michelle Obama and was never proud of America. Those of us who are proud of America see no president as being all good or all evil but some good and bad points. But we just wish the news would go back to being truthful and fair news and not assume we are all stupid.

  18. "New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who said at the time that he was “furious” about the flyover, dismissed questions about the administration’s response, telling reporters at the White House yesterday that “the planes are long gone in history.”

Just what is that supposed to mean?

  19. suthin_man says:

The whole admin is very transparent indeed, everybody, everyone in the whole organization is a crook, liar and un-american!

    • acheyjake says:

Yes, transparent indeed. They give it to us right out in the open and so many of us put our fingers in our eyes so that we can't see the obvious.

  20. Ohiowoman says:

Of course Obama knew about this. These things are scheduled weeks in advance and reviewed by EVERYONE involved with those planes. This administration's assumption that we are all a bunch of stupid dummies is going to be their downfall. I can't wait.

    • acheyjake says:

That's why I have an advantage over President Obama. I am a smart dummy, not a stupid one. I know that President Obama is actually the pilot of Air Force One when he is on board. So I know he was actually flying the plane when it flew by the Statue of Liberty and Joe Biden was flying the F-16.

Absurdity? Yes. You are the stupid dummy you speak of Ohiowoman.

  21. Dustyluv says:

What did Obama know and when did the teleprompter tell him?

  22. NancyNurse says:

I don't get why a small potatoes political pawn who has a 'military' job would be okaying missions like that one. He is the fall guy, that is all. And yes, someone higher up certainly knew of the plan. My question is/was WHY flyover the Statue of Liberty????

    • acheyjake says:

I personally think the whole debacle was a political favor from one to another. Who the "one" was and who was the "other", I do not know.

    • RNHunter says:

Your questions are good ones. Some places, including companies, do in fact look for a fall guy. For companies it makes the board of directors feel good to know that the evil person is gone. And yes, you are correct. In the haste to protect the guilty, often an innocent person is selected. But in this case, I do know a little about Air Force 1, but I still would not guess how high up the knowledge was in allowing this. As for your last question – why bother? – great point. Anyone with a photo package and some skill (including me) could do the same shot by combining the photos of Air Force 1 and of the Statue of Liberty. Fox News said they could get that photo work done for $800. I would do it for less, and even put a photo of Hilary on the wing if people wanted it. With photo computer programs today, it is silly to waste money and scare people when it could be done just in a software program.

      • NancyNurse says:

But again,, I don't know why the President needs a photo op….he was not on board (reportedly) is not from NYC, didn't protect the Statue of Liberty against terrorism…….so why was this photo even taken?

    • Gregory says:

I think the bigger question is who exactly was on there? I would wager that the plane had many, many people on it. How come no one is asking that question? Who was rewarded by this favor? Does anyone here honestly believe that there was even one empty seat? There has to be a manifest, and maybe the person that was responsible for the flight, was actually on it.

  23. pslwd says:

We all knew there would be one scapegoat. We all knew Obama and staff knew about this. Even if he did not, it is still his administration and he is responsible. He needs to man-up for a change and take responsibiliy.

    • Gregory says:

I find it unthinkable that Obama did not know someone was taking his spare plane for a joy ride. If he has too much on his plate, he needs to quit. He asked for the job, now that he has it, he complains about the work.

      • pslwd says:

So true – the guy keeps blaming Bush. He shouldhave known what the job entailed before running for office and telling all of those lies.

      • Ohiowoman says:

I agree with you. Isn't this the guy who said during the campaign that the president "has to be able to multitask?" Well he either needs to stop complaining, stop campaigning and man up or quit. Period.

      • Pavko58 says:

Telly the Prompter tried to inform Obama about the photo op but he had a bad case of the stutters that day. Ummmm Ummmm Ummmm Sorry too late.

    • burntfrost says:

This whole mess shows, once again, how ill-equipped Obama is to be President, but neither Congress nor the media will call him out on it and America will soon for get. Either he knew about the fly-over and is lying about it, which I believe to be the truth, or he actually did NOT know. He must be either a shameless liar or a hopeless dullard (or both), and neither is fit to run this country.

  24. heloise says:

As I get older, and I am aging fast under the Obama administration, the list of things I wish for gets shorter and shorter. That said, I hope my country survives this onslaught and that I live longer enough to read the tell-all book on what really happeded.

    • acheyjake says:

You should start writing that book yourself, friend. Even if you are unable to finish that book, you can pass on your writings for a younger family member to continue writing, and so on and on.

I don't know how old or young you are, but don't let your youth or your age hold you back. Do not whatsoever, limit YOU.

      Thanks, friend.

    • RNHunter says:

Hi there Heloise. It is likely in this case we will never know. I had a nephew who was on the Air Force 2 crew and then the Air Force 1 crew, but recently left to train to be a pilot and was not on AF 1 that day. Normally speaking the President would tell Air Force 1 what to do. But it is possible that another sent it off without the president knowing. The entire crew on both Air Force 1 and Air Force 2's (there are many air force 2's really for the vice president, congress or generals) is all military including the flight attendants cooking the food. And the military has to be non- partisan and will follow orders of course. Therefore, we will likely never really know where the orders originated on this one, unless of course someone tells us. And Air Force 1 Military staff of course are excellent at keeping that kind of secret, as they must be. So me asking my nephew is a waste of time, even though I love the lad. He wont talk.

An open email to want of the authors.
    Madame,
I have a couple of simple questions, that seemly no one is asking.
    1. Just what the h*** was in the pilot's mind? I spent 14 years in Marine Aviation, I am well familiar with regulations concerning flights, no pilot that I have ever served with would perform a flight at that altitude over a crowded city, particularly with a 747. I feel that either the pilot was ordered to do so or he/she is the most incompetent pilot in the U.S.A.F. Since I am familar with the high quality of the personnel in the Air Force, I will elect the former rather then the latter.
    2. What about the tower or ground control tapes. These aircraft had to have been under Air Traffic control, particularly over an area as busy as NY city. Has anyone requested them or listened to them? Why haven't they been released?
In all due respect, these questions and information should be asked and research or are you like the rest of what was the main stream media, and just going to accept what the White House says?

    • Madazhell says:

OldMarine, what do you think would have been the result if (God forbid) that AF-2 crashed into NYC that day. Would it have been a tragic accident? When you think of it, its the only aircraft that could ever get clearance over the city.

Oh well nevermind, I see conspirators behind every bush. No pun intended.

      And thanks for the letter.

      • OldMarine says:

If it did go down, it would most likely have been an accident. It would have left on big smoking hole and alot of dead people, that's why I have such a hard time believing that the pilot would have intentionally flew that low over a city like NY or any city for that matter. Although military aircraft are the best maintained in the world, things still go wrong.

    • pslwd says:

Like so many things anymore, we will never hear the truth.

    • Jerseygal says:

Great letter – I know Fox News has requested a ton of stuff on this through the Freedom of Information Act. I hope the info you are requesting has been asked for also.

    • acheyjake says:

I disagree Gunny. That pilot acted upon someone's orders. From whom did that pilot receive those orders is the question.

      • OldMarine says:

I fully agree and even said so a number of times in previous posts, but I want them to do their jobs and get all the facts. That's why I said, \”I feel that either the pilot was ordered to do so or he/she is the most incompetent pilot in the U.S.A.F. Since I am familiar with the high quality of the personnel in the Air Force, I will elect the former rather then the latter.\” I still want tohear the tapes of the Tower/ground control communications. Stuff like this doesn't happen in a vacuum. I'm only one person, if others would email Fox or Glenn asking them to investigate and see if the tapes can be had. As American citizens, we are entitled to the truth and there should be any thing classified with the communications except maybe the call sign.

  26. scottlarson says:

There are lots of things wrong here. 1) The President is a liar , 2)Logistically speaking, they knew from inauguration day this flyover was going to happen.3)EVERY single person in the administration, the Pentagaon, the Secret Service on down to the A1C that fueled the aircraft knew well in advance that this "event" was to take place.
Not only did it scare the crap out of thousands of people in the city, it just goes to further our arguments that "The One" is NOT running this country, he is simply a puppet. The fall guy is Caldera, and by all accounts, c'mon we're not morons and as Texan2 so put it, I did not fall off the wagon yesterday. There needs to be more heads that roll besides Caldera.. shouldn't there?

  27. MikeinIdaho says:

What's telling here is that "The One" knew nothing about where his plane was or what it was doing. As for Caldera, sorry Charlie, you gotta' take the fall for this, 'cause your boss ain't about to do it. It's good to be the King (One)!

  29. acheyjake says:

You tell us whether you need to say more.

  30. acheyjake says:

    Oops, my bad.

  31. Jerseygal says:

I'll give it a shot to both, may I use your e-mail, sending it on behalf of concerned Americans? I cannot speak to the issue with the experience you have, so I would word it accordingly.

  32. OldMarine says:

You can use this for initial contact, it should still be good but itmight be disabled in a few days (changing servers). Once you email me, I'll give you better address. You understand, I'm sure.
    nightfalcon@bellsouth.net

  33. Jerseygal says:

what is the falcon address, anyway?

  34. OldMarine says:

    An old old call sign.

  35. Jerseygal says:

I figured it had Marine meaning

  36. Illustrus says:

Dude!! be more careful about when you type. Read the post, then type. I almost let you have it for that one. I got the email update on your reply and didnt get the removal. So I got here ready to explain sarcasm, its uses and application in the real world. However you seem to have seen it now. Thank you. I have too many friends who have served and too much respect for the armed forces to ever blame the brave men and women who protect this Country for the B.S. that politicians love to try to force feed us.

  37. OldMarine says:

    I have a select 10-15

  38. Jerseygal says:

    Great minds think alike.

  39. acheyjake says:

I jumped to the wrong conclusion on that one. Thanks for not letting me have it.

    Take care.
