We the people. Think about those words as our forefathers did while composing the Constitution of the United States of America. Now think of those words as they are being utilized in our present government. Not anywhere close to what our forefathers meant while composing the Constitution. Right to free speech(trying to stop the Glenn Becks, Rush Limbaughs etc. from telling the truth). Right to bear arms. No need to explain that one. States rights(Hooray for Texas, Montana, Utah for standing up against Federal tyranny. Hopefully more states will join. Educating yourself and others is the way to freedom. Study YOUR Constitution so that you can understand what your rights are and can tell others what you have learned. Hooray for the people of Tyler, Texas for uniting and getting out the message to all people so they may learn what our country was built on and bless them for "one nation, under God".
I would like to know when the next tea party is planned for the Greensburg Pa . area. Also why is it that everyone refers to 2012, as the next time we will have a chance to change administration? Is not impeachment a possibility? If there are enough dis-satisfied people, why can they not insist on it? We could lose the country entirely,by 2012.
Thanks for the GREAT advice! I will get planting!
Also, I remember in school not wanting to learn history, although I had a very good memory. I took high school civics as a senior, but generally blew it off as a required subject. I wish I had learned more then. There's so much that I could have done before now.
Wish I had been listening to Glenn back then…I'm fairly a newcomer! We are praying that our house sells…it is our only debt, but a good sized chunk..I would like to be as debt free as possible. Being optimistic, I have already purchased a non-hybrid seed kit. The soil is great in ET…I love the Hill Country too, but it is a little barren-looking for me on a permanent basis. Happy farming!
IntenseDebate Notification <DIV>We all do the best we can. You have one very big advantage though. You are surrounded by Texans. Better friends and neighbors will never be found. The only reason all my stuff is paid for is because I was crazy enough to live in a tent for a year and half while I built my own house. One little tidbit that may help with your seed stock. You can go to the grocery store and buy bags of dried pintos, blackeyes, orwhatever rightoff the shelfand plant those. They're not hybrid and they grow very well. I've discovered that your area of east Texas canaverage a yield in pintos of 3,000 pounds per acre annually. You can pick them as green snap beans for cooking or let them dryon the vineand shell the beans for pintos and next years seed stock. You can do the same with potatoes from the produce department. I prefer the reds and just buy a ten pound bag and let them sit until the eyes start growing, then plant them. I've found that someRoma tomatoes are non-hybrids and if you dry the seeds from thefruit you buy they do well. Non-hybrids can be founds at the local nursery too. It takes a little experimentation but at least you don't have to pay so muchto some survival seed bank Check with your local agricultural extension office for tons of good info. My favorite way of getting info is when the farmers markets open or you stop bya roadside stand. These folks are a wealth of knowledge and you can bet they're not selling hybridized veggies. I think you'll find that these people are more than willing to share their insight with you. Best of luck.</DIV> <DIV>
One thing I thought of last week while taking inventory of my pantry was salt, especially curing or pickling salt. Curing and pickling salt has the right mixture of nitrates and nitrites(saltpetre) for curing meat. This is critical in the absence of refrigeration. My grandfather used to do his own butchering on his depression era farm. They has no electricity or running water. Salt was a must have to be able to keep meat more than a day or two. If you can find a recipe for good ol' Texas deer sausage you'll have a way to preserve meat by salt curing and smoking. More than anything have at least 20 pounds of salt to keep with your survival seed kit. Add 10 pounds of Mortons "Tender Quick" curing salt for meats just to be safe.

Where do you live? Thanks for the kind words…unfortunately, the MSM is so far over the cliff, ANYBODY normal would seem radical to them! Have a great week!
This is amazing. I am reading the 5000 Year Leap right now, and have been saying that a book club would be great!
This is better yet. I am getting so excited about learning about the founding fathers that I want to scream from the
rooftop. I know that sounds crazy, but it is amazing stuff that we did not get in school. Bravo for Texas, they get it.
Come on everyone let's get further engaged in the forum. We must "Change" our future, and our kids and grandkids
futures. This government we know is going in the wrong direction. Stop it know, educate yourselves and speak up
to others.
I, too, share your excitement, and I am actually a member of this group. We are definitely learning as we go! I would definitely recommend attending or hosting the two seminars we are having soon:
The Constitutional seminar called "The Making of America" by the National Center for Constitutional Studies
(nccs.net). This is a great site with a wealth of resources (it is the org. that publishes this book…the author of 5000 Year Leap started nccs!
The activist seminar is put on by American Majority (americanmajority.com). Go to the site and you can find out if their is training coming up near you, or how you can schedule one for your area.
Keep up the momentum!
This is it!!!!! This is how it must move forward. Tea parties are GREAT, and we must keep them up so or brothers and sisters that are still asleep will see them and stop out to listen. I believe that these types of meeting will teach us, inspire people to serve in all forms of government, and, I am sure from one of these meetings a future great leader will emerge. So for everyone that asks what do we do next, THIS IS IT!!! Start small with 5 people and through our words and passion it will grow. It has taken this country almost 100 years to get into this shape, so it will take some time to turn it around. As Glenn has said many times it MUST start local first. These people in Tyler are doing what we all must do.
Thanks for your kind words…we are really learning as we go! The best thing to happen is our upcoming Constitutional seminar and our activist training seminar. Education + activation!
See if you can find a seminar near you, or learn how to host one:

BTW…I was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana! I moved here after college, so I have been a Texan for 22 years! Where do you live? We have lots of family in B-ton, Indy, and Tipton. We still own my mom's farm outside of Tipton…I always fantasize about moving back and living on the farm…but I'm not so sure now…I feel very safe being in TX.
Goshen, but I am a transplant from Ohio. I travel the state of Indiana alot for my job and know of Tipton (pork festival) very well. I love Indy it is a great city, and as far as B-ton goes I just love the Oliver Winery.
From what I see & read about Texas, I would have no problem living there.
This video has brought me to a realization of what I can do MYSELF to make a difference, what all of us can do to make a difference TODAY! This video spelled it out. We need to arm ourselves with EDUCATION and KNOWLEDGE and we need to arm our friends, family, and neighbors with that same education and knowledge. I have read that before and during the Revolutionary War, the citizens of Boston, the hot seat of the Revolution, were very much educated about politics and knew how to debate and defend their points. When Alexis de Tocqueville came to America, he wrote that what distinguished this country from others was that its citizens knew politics and ideals and talked frequently of them in everyday conversation. THIS is what we need to return to. Knowledge is power. So among other things, let's begin TODAY to educate ourselves and those around us so we can be prepared and use that knowledge when appropriate times present themselves.
Keep up the passion! For more info on the Constitutional and activist training seminars, visit:

We have to catch up to and far surpass ACORN! You are right…knowledge is power…I tear my hair out sometimes trying to get some of my lazy friends to participate! What do they not get about the seriousness of our country's condition? It's like a relative who knows a family member is very sick, says that they really want to come visit and will try but they are soooo busy, and then never shows up till the funeral! I am so there ARE people who are willing to get started!
Another great site I have just recently found is the Conservative Caucus (conservativeusa.org).
Good luck to a fellow patriot!
I agree with you. It was so good to hear what I need to do. I can't just sit and watch any more. But I didn't know how to respond or what to do. Thanks, Tyler.
I used to live in Tyler, Tx, great city that is BOOMING. Not sure which church this was. The other thing I noticed was, where were the Texas accents? East Texas has a strong accent to outsiders. More and more of these groups are popping up all over. I'm involved with one in Duluth, MN that is going strong. We had over 1300 people on a Wednesday(or work day for the majority). July 4, is the next event for us. I hope more groups us July 4th to get out the word. Most people in this country couldn't tell you past ammendment #2. Sad really.
James: Sorry to hear you left Tyler! I have lived here since '95 and love it….I appreciate it more with each passing day considering the strength of Texas' position and condition! Yes, it is booming…that's probably why you didn't hear too many TX accents on the video…so many people moving here from literally all over!
Wow…your group is HUGE! How big is Duluth?
This group is not affiliated with any particular church, but Lakeside Church of the Nazaren is very gracious to let us use it every week for free! It is on east Spur 248, past UT Tyler and the DOT.
You should seriously consider doing the Constitutional and activist training seminars in Duluth. They are very affordable. You can find out more about them at:
nccs.net
americanmajority.com
Y'all come visit us sometime, ya hear?
How would one get in touch with this grassroots We the People group out of Tyler, TX. I would like to see a web cast of the MAY 16 & 30 gathering. Sounds like it could be a learning experience for more that just Tyler, TX.
Here is their site. Google it and there are other sites also.
http://wethepeoplefreedom.com/
Actually, I am on the planning committee for this group. We also have another address:
http://www.GrassrootsAmericaWeThePeople.com. If you have any problems with the first one, try the second. Both are being used, the latter is our newest one. I am not sure about webcasting for these events, b/c they are being put on by organizations who charge each person a fee. They are National Center for Constitutional Studies nccs.net (May 15), and American Majority (americanmajority.com) in May 30th. They probably would not authorize us to do this…you can visit their sites and organize a local seminar with them. Call soon…they are booking up fast! Thanks for your interest…it is so encouraging to know people from all over are getting excited and involved! Good luck!
watching glenn's show now and they got a few things out,IF YOU MADE A LIST OF ALL THE NEWS OUTLETS,MARKET ON TV OR RADIO,EVEN THE COMPUTER GETS THE REASON FOR THE TEA PARTY'S NO ONE IS LISTENING TO THE PEOPLE,THE PEOPLE ARE WHAT THIS COUNTRY IS ALL ABOUT,WE DON'T WANT OR NEED THE GOVERNMENT IN ALL PARTS OF OUR LIVES,WE NEED AND WANT TO DO,MAKE BUY THINGS BECAUSE WE HAVE WORKED YEARS TO GET TO WHERE WE CAN,
Good going fellow Americans in texas!!1 I am talking to family and friends about this website and how great it is. And I am also reading everything about our founding fathers and it has been really fun for me to tell my friends what I have been doing. Even reading a book and people will come up to me and say what are you reading and I will tell them. And they will say oh you are reading what Glenn Beck has suggested and it goes from there. People are waking up and wanting to know and do those things to take our country back.
Thanks for the compliment! Just wanted to let you know that our website is going to be revamped and greatly improved very soon…this one is just a starting point! Our goal is to develop the original model for educating, empowering, and uniting at the precinct level with book study groups and activist training. We are VERY excited about our Constitutional seminar (nccs.net) and activist training seminar (americanmajority.com) happening this month. Keep checking back to see what is being added on a regular basis. Hope you have a local group to plug into.
Awesome…we need to get similar activities started in every community across the country! This is what Glenn has talked about. We start with our neighbors and it just grows from there!
Yep! You're right on! I am part of this group. The man who you saw talking just woke up one day 3 months ago and felt burdened to do something…it started with 6 people around a kitchen table…and now look! I will be honest…it is a lot of hard work, but very rewarding and reassuring! Every group will have their own style and own agenda, but I really would suggest trying to go to or host these seminars. You can find out about the Constitutional seminar called "The Making of America" at nccs.net (National Center for Constitutional Studies)…very affordable. The training on how to be an effective activist can be found at americanmajority.com…also affordable. We have to learn to do our job BETTER than Obama's army!
Yes, that's how this one started! Just a couple of people around a kitchen table! It CAN be done!
Thanks for the compliment!
IntenseDebate Notification <DIV>I heard from some friends in Tyler that I met at work. They were at the meeting yesterday and were at the one on April 15th. I've got news for the mainstream media: These people are well respected, conservative in views and manner and there isnothing radical about them. I hope you continue with your success there!</DIV> <DIV style=\”FONT: 10pt arial\”>
I just picked up a "hobby farm" south of Jacksonville. As a Texan living out of state I was anxious to have a retreat back home. It sounds like I picked an excellent location. I can't wait for events to lead me back to Texas.
Great! I want a \”hobby farm\” too! My friend who is a realtor here says that almost all of the buyers are looking for LAND these days! We are thinking of selling our house and moving to the country…I want a water well and land to have a self-sustaining supply of food. When in TX, stop by one of our Friday meetings! http://www.GAWTP.com
IntenseDebate Notification <DIV>I most certainly will. I too was looking for land. The parcel I bought is vacant land(no house) but of sufficient size to subsistence farm. I'm originally from the Texas hill country and although it's beautiful there the land isn't much more than goat pasture. Right now I'm in Colorado and absolutely hate it. The winters are too long, the summers are too short and the people…well let's just say they aint Texan.Back in July of last year I kinda took Glenn's advice and got out of the stock market. The money I didn't lose bought this land. Thanks Glenn!</DIV> <DIV>
