I have been involved with this blogging for over a year and I have found that most individuals just seem to only want to write and complain on national and local blogs. I have found very few who actually want to jump in and organize in their community. Even the tea parties as good as they are will die if not actual action is taken that results in a “victory” for the participants. That is why I believe the best and quickest approach is on the local level within the communities right outside your front door.

I am concerned the tea parties will follow the same route, much hype, much participation, but in the end nothing really solved. But I never really had much faith in people actually getting past their differences and working together, I do hope I am wrong, I will give it a little more time but then I go back into my hole and work my business and spend time with my family.

Now two more school districts in the area are closed till May 11. I think it's a bit of an overreaction, but that's just me.

We all have to realize that these kind of things are predicted in the Bible. Unfortunately, it's only going to get worse and more often, that is my opinion. My only answer is we all better make sure our eternal insurance policy is up to date. I'm praying that everyone realizes GOD is still in control, and no matter how bad we hate to see our country, lives, and world turned upside down, we are going to come out on the other side better off. GOD is going to put us all through the refiners fire and burn away the chaff, and whatever is left will be useful for GOD and His purposes.

You would fit right in with LGF with your name-calling. I am not a crazy. I don't agree with everything that is posted here. In fact, many people here are complaining about over-moderating of this board. Plus, Glenn is not making a dime from this project. He is providing this outlet for people to sound off and to try to find solutions based on the founding fathers. As I recall, the left had some pretty wild conspiracy theories about George W. Bush as well.

That is exactly the reason that the are trying to keep these comments moderated. Everyone is frustrated, including me, but we have to remember to keep it on track and decent. I have said a few things I probably shouldn't have, so I have as much to learn as some. The purpose of the site needs to be kept in mind at all times or we will see it degenerate the same as others have. I think it is worth keeping around, myself.

I have received several responses concerning this post. I am not looking for a leader, I am looking for leadership and direction for all of the groups that have formed. We need to organize so that something can be accomplished other that posting messages on blogs and fighting over who is in control of random, small groups. This is not going to save this country. Unite these groups or watch them die.
