OK fine, this should make some President Obama's friends very happy. The day after the photos are released an a US Soldier is killed , there should be an as investigation as to why, and if it's because of the photos then, the President should receive full credit.

With him being in office now for 100 days we now know we have to think the oppoisite of what he says. We have to think WAAAAY LEFT. If we can find out who his puppet master is we can figure out what he is going to do next.

  10. crolland says:

Obama should be charge with treason. He has put our troops in harms way by releasing classified documents.
And now to find out he is going to release picuters of this is outragous! We need to demand that he be charge!

  11. jsekula says:

Obama has to keep focusing on the Bush Administration to keep his Kood-Aid drinking supporters happy and engaged. And of course their is Pelosi "LIAR LIAR"!!! There will come a time in the near future… as his approval ratings start to slid. He better hope America is not attacked again… But why should this not be a surpise from somebody that still has clear out the skeltons in his closet if he is a natural-born citizen per the Constitution.

  12. jma9 says:

one word comes to mind when talking about the Left and their international policy. Naive. not everyone wants to be our friend and in some circumstances, some regimes (ex. Iran, Venezuela, N Korea) NEED us to be the enemy to retain power. obama is carter 2.0 in a world that is much more dangerous.

  13. Islandsox says:

I think Glenn had someone on his program Friday who was going to start the proceeding and make a formal request for those minutes.

  14. leasylvester says:

It is NOT Torture and it is NOT Illegal. You must remember that if it is used on captives, it is used on those who are captured on the battlefield on those who would otherwise by SHOT. The only reason they wouldn't be SHOT TO DEATH is that they may have information important to NATIONAL SECURITY. These captives have NO RIGHTS, they are not Americans, they are not held under the Geneva Convention or any other treaty. And those liberals who are beochting the LOUDEST KNEW about this! Pelosi was briefed on this 4 years ago. WHERE ARE THE MINUTES TO THAT BRIEFING? I WANT THOSE RELEASED? Pelosi says she doesn't remember? Well, if her mind isn't any better than that, she isn't fit to serve as Speaker of the House and should be removed immediately.

And, if the United Stated Armed Services cannot use these tactics to gain information any longer (which they can't, the enemy knows of them and they are no longer of any use to us) ALL ENEMIES SHOULD BE SHOT ON THE BATTLEFIELD. TAKE NO PRISONERS, SOLDIERS COULD BE QUESTIONED LATER SO SHOOT THEM TO DEATH AND MOVE ON. A DEAD ENEMY IS ONE WHO CAN'T COME BACK AND KILL YOU.

  15. TheCook says:

I'm pretty sure the people that were calling for an investigation into human rights violations during those years were stigmatized as "un-american" and terrorist sympathizers.

  16. kathib says:

    Dear KZ1776,

Thank you for your service and God bless you and yours.
You are more able to speak to this issue than most of our elected officials. Those 'officials' really do not
give a tinker's damn about 'enhanced interrogations'. They not only KNEW but supported these actions
in the wake of 9/11. Speaker Pelosi pondered if these same methods would go 'far enough' to
insure the safety and security of this country.
For her to stand in front of cameras and DENY that she was informed is disgusting.
Benjamin Franklin said, "Half a truth is often a great lie."
Winston Churchill said, " A lie gets halfway around the world before the truth has a chance to put its pants on."
[much faster now with the internet] also, "If we are together nothing is impossible. If we are didvide all will fail."
[and is THAT not the point of the 912 Project?!?]
There are transcripts of all the meetings and we need to DEMAND their release and publicly expose these cretans for the liars thay are.

  17. DonProffitt says:

Just for the record, I'm not for torture by any means, however lets just look at who we are dealing with. Did Daniel Perl get just treatment ??? How about Matt Maupin ? The Islamo-facists KILL our people, and there is NO public outcry…read a little Koran folks this is exactly what their prophet tells them to do to INFIDELs, making this a moral imperitive for them. We treat our Prisoners much more justly than they have treated ours, and to what ends? So that they can be released into our own country to possibly kill again. Logic tells me that this is worng. Every fiber of my being tells me that they will eventually get the upper hand, and all of us will at some point have to either recant our beliefs, or face the same beheading. I for one plan to go to mine singing the Battel Hymn of the Republic. Whether we think things have gone this far or not, check your Bibles.

  19. NJIAGirl says:

I for one, DO NOT, WILL NOT, Nor could I ever, BELIEVE THAT WATERBOARDING IS TORTURE or THAT PUTTING A BUG IN A ROOM W/ SOMEONE WHO IS SCARED OF BUGS OR SLEEP DEPRIVATION COULD EVER QUALIFY AS TORTURE IN COMPARISON WITH THE REAL AND ABSOLUTE TERROR OF THE TORTURE THAT I DESCRIBED ABOVE. I for one ONLY CARE THAT WE DO NOT TORTURE TERRORISTS THE WAY THAT THEY HAVE TORTURED OUR U.S. CITIZENS, AND I DO NOT CARE WHAT WE DO TO ANY TERRORISTS. I actually WISH we treated Terrorists with the same methods of Torture, Indignity and Humiliation that they have perpetrated upon us on 9/11 and after. I myself would volunteer to set them on Fire and let them choose between Burning Alive or Jumping from a Tall Building (but their ONLY choice will ultimately lead to their DEATH, just as my friends HAD to die that day). I would get tremendous Satisfaction from it, (even after 9 years later, I would still be willing to do it). (continued….)

  20. kgreece says:

Perhaps his exposure of the techniques, knowing full well that Pelosi and Reid will be implicated, is his Chicago style coup to wrest power from the Senior members of Congress. After all… the leadsership was in the know and he was not.

Just because you are Born with Flesh, Blood and Bone, DOES NOT IN ANY WAY QUALIFY YOU AS A HUMAN BEING. What actually Qualifies you as a “Human Being” is having and being able to grow Feelings, Compassion, Empathy and Remorse for Innocent Human Beings being Slaughtered without REASON. And Everyone knows that TERRORISTS are Incapable of having these “Human Emotions” for Innocent Human Beings or even for their own children. They Teach their own offspring that Blowing themselves up in the name of their God is righteous and that they will be Rewarded somehow in their AfterLife. What a Monstrous JOKE!!!! (continued….)

  22. NJIAGirl says:

I just have to and want to say something that is killing me inside. If you don't like it, too bad, this is my real and honest opinion. I would truly like to remind these Psychopath Democrats in Washington about what true Horror and Torture is. I watched people that I knew on 9/11 choose between "BURNING ALIVE" and "JUMPING TO CERTAIN DEATH" from both of the WTC's. Some 200 Jumped, but Most Burned Alive. THAT WAS AND IS TORTURE. I watched as several planes filled with truly Innocent Men, Women and Children were flown into Buildings with ABSOLUTELY NO Choice of ESCAPE possible. THIS IS TRULY TORTURE. I have watched video of US Citizens having their heads "Sawed Off with a Dull Blade while screaming Bloody Murder." THIS TOO IS AND WAS TORTURE. (continued….)

  23. NJIAGirl says:

  24. NJIAGirl says:

THIS DOES NOT QUALIFY YOU AS A HUMAN BEING, EVER, YOU ARE NOT EVEN AN ANIMAL, BECAUSE EVEN ANIMALS CARE FOR, PROTECT AND LOVE THEIR CHILDREN, AT ALL COSTS. I truly hope that when the next 9/11 happens (and it will) that the only victims will be these scum bags who believe that a Terrorist has as much Right to Life as a REAL HUMAN BEING, because I tell you now, I will NOT have any compassion or sadness for the people who are endangering myself and Innocent People with their Lunatic Witch Hunt to Punish people who have waterboarded or that said waterboarding was acceptable. THESE LUNATICS SHOULD HAVE TO FACE THE CHOICE THAT MY FRIENDS IN THE WTC HAD TO FACE ON 9/11, MAYBE THEN THEY WILL REALIZE WHAT TORTURE ACTUALLY IS. THIS MAY BE THE ONLY WAY THEY WILL EVER UNDERSTAND, BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE, I WILL HAVE NO SYMPATHY FOR THESE MONSTERS, BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT BE INNOCENT LIKE ALL THE 9/11 VICTIMS WERE. THEY WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THOUSANDS OF MURDERS AND WE AS AMERICANS BETTER MAKE SURE WE HOLD THEM RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ATTACK THAT WE ENDURE AGAIN. THE ACLU, OBAMA, ALL THE DEMOCRATS, THEY WILL ALL BE MASS MURDERERS NO BETTER THAN THE TERRORISTS OF 9/11.

  25. sailing5660 says:

I was just making a comparison to the fact that Pelosi is on a witch hunt after the previous administration for what she calls torture but she sees nothing wrong with late term abortion. You said abortion laws vary from state to state which is true. That still doesn't make it right. Lawyers determined water boarding wasn't torture. It isn't something we can go back and undo. It was done, it is over. Obama is putting this country in danger by releasing all this information. And now we have the ACLU calling the shots to get pictures of torture released.
I think that everyone has their own opinion as to whether water boarding is torture and I do believe that we are and always will be a more civilized country then most. But the lawyers at the time discussed this, and also informed certain people in Congress about it including Pelosi. No one questioned it then and it needs to be put to rest and left alone. Obama has made his choice and Bush made his.
I am sure every president did something while in office that most of us wouldn't agree with. Should we go back and disgrace every past president?

  26. SCarolina says:

KZ 1776 I understand, my late Husband was a Vietnam Vet.
I strongly believe this President should be tried for Treson the second day after the next attack and all the ones in congress that are responsible for this stupidity of not stoping it….God help us, we will be attacked again and all Washington will have Americans blood on their Hands…..I don't give a damn what the CIA did to these terrorist to prevent another attack,,,I would do anything and I mean anything to stop another attack on American soil…These terrorist will do anything to kill as many Americans as they can….I believe we have the most insane people in power of our country…

  27. Mugwump says:

    Question for my Checking Mates:

Now that Prez-BO has compromised Top Secret stuff to our 'friends' overseas, does this mean that we get a time out in order to put Sandy Burglar back on the board as a pawn??

Or do we just go with the Queen of Diamonds??

  28. Can;t wait to see what the minutes say to these investigations. I want to know exactly what was said and not said. Nancy Pelosi is a liar! Not only is she a liar, but most of the left wing. This administration is committing treason by releasing these documents. They should be tried for their crimes. NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW!

  29. PirateNPink says:

One of my favorite articles on this topic…….
snip/Exacting revenge for unpopular policies is the norm in the third world, heretofore more likely in Barack Obama's ancestral Kenya than in America, more in the tradition of gangland Chicago than in Washington, where we count on cooler heads to prevail when raw emotion threatens to overwhelm sobriety and the undisciplined senses. We recall perceived national mistakes with the sadness of regret and even gratitude for lessons learned, not the frenzied catharsis of a St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Mr. Obama, having won the White House fair and square, is entitled to change any presidential policy he chooses, but the vindication of a national election does not entitle any president to exact mindless revenge. /snip

Obama says one thing, and does another. How are we going to figure out what is going through that pea brain of his!
He isn't smart enough to do his own thinking, so he listens to his advisers, OOPS, they were appointed by him, so all Obama can do is look at his Tele-prompter, and read whatever it is that is written! What an IDIOT!!

  32. scottrk31 says:

don't see how calling somebody a maggot is supposed to convince them that what you have to say is of any value at all…However, I would appreciate a bit more courtesy in the future"
He showed you the courtesy that every greenhorn recruit is shown in basic training. I myself would be honored to be seen by someone of this background as a maggot because after one learns what he needs to learn in basic they are then seen as a brother

    • TheCook says:

I'm glad you are into being dehumanized, but I'll take a pass thanks; thank for your being as civil as you were in refuting what I had to say about the topic.
But, regardless of why they are given the training, (surely we don't want more soldiers doing things like signing confessions of biological warfare, when our stance is that we don't participate in it; but hey… if torture is so fuzzy) it is not only horrific, despite having the assurance that this is something everyone has done and that you are in the hands of your fellow countrymen, but it is in no way employed to the extent that we are seeing these detainees being subjected to…
but again, you are missing my point, we do that in defense of the cruelty of others, to be prepared.

as for the sleep deprivation, the last time I checked slumped on a dorm room desk full of empty red bull cans is not a stress position; not that finals are any fun.

      Well, not all of them.

but despite what our higher education looks like, we don't torture people…
and if we do; then I just hope we all understand what we've lost by not pursuing a more noble form of society where the lowest common denominator is just not good enough, that we actually expect more out of ourselves AND the rest of the world if they want to do work with us.

but… thats just how it looks to me.

      • scottrk31 says:

We'll have to agree to disagree, and the extent of what the memos show the torture to be I'll take Gitmo over two a days any day…. or even worse the descripton the swim team gave me of their practices.

  33. SEM1013 says:

I have thought to myself for the past two years that Obama's habit of political expediency would reach grave proportions. He is weak and does not think things through. This decision is going to affect past, present and future administrations and cause the CIA to be tied up in knots. They can't trust him after his visit the day before this horrible decision was announced. I don't feel safe in my own country because of this. Hope we do not have another attack on our soil, but it looks very likely. Sad.

  34. Islandsox says:

There is something else that is really bothering me for our country's sake. With the release of these memos and most probably some photos, how on earth does this help America? I can see it now; other countries including our allies sitting around in closed doors wondering why the USA would publicize any of our secrets? Why would our president release such documents that he knows will inflame and embolden our enemies, and let our allies know that he is a president who kisses and tells? And to do it to only play political games with his predecessor and to appease his rich far left liberal nuts.

I don't think Obama and friends realize the damage they are doing to their own credibility. If I were an allie, I'd think twice about shaking or joining hands with this complete moron. He is telling the world he is a back-stabber and he is using former President Bush as his first victim. If he can do it to Bush, he can do it to anybody.

    • Gregory says:

I can only pray that what he is doing, will someday be used against him. Those that are advising him may someday be sitting in the hot seat just like they are doing to the past administration.

    • kathib says:

Please do NOT fall into the trap of thinking all of this is just the result of inexperience.

These people know EXACTLY what they're doing and are pressing ahead to accomplish as much as possible
before the 'Honeymoon' is over and those who voted for 'HOPE & CHANGE' wake up and realize the error of their vote!

      • Islandsox says:

kathib: don't worry, I do know they know what they are doing. My issue is they have not realized the impact to other world leaders of releasing these documents. By that I mean, it makes Obama and friends appear like back-stabbers because most of our past presidents have had some issues with other presidents, but they didn't go this far. It makes him look like he will kiss-and-tell so our allies may shy away from him in the future and not be so buddy-buddy, something he wants. Obama seems to think that releasing the documents will be a brilliant move to our allies; I don't think that's going to turn out to be true. I think that many will find it shameful, childish, immature, and purely political.

    I stand by my statement.

  36. OldMarine says:

I just get so p—- when I hear the term \”torture\” used to describe these animals that were captured on the battlefield. Just what part of they are trying to kill our military and civilians don't these idiots understand. Let's let Queen Bee, Prince Harry, Rangle and Frank become \”prisoners\” of the terrorists, then maybe, just maybe they'll learn what torture really is.

  37. KenSchrader says:

Obama is a jellyfish, A spineless blob who sticks a venomous tenticle in the air to see which way Soros' flatulence is drifting.
We were sold out by the Republicans and are now being spent into slavery by the progressive Democrats. This is going to be a very telling summer.

  38. CULATR says:

Obama is using Rules for Radicals Rule #4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. “You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.” The bast**d is setting us up for world derision, another holy war against us. He accomplishes two things with this: He diminishes all conspiracy theories teaming him up with Bush and Clinton and he gets Islamic extremists bloodthirsty mad and justified. He has taken our reputation and dragged it naked through the streets by making us live up to our rules and not them. He is playing radical instigator against his own country. He is not just a traitor but influenced by the devil himself. There is no other explanation for this. I despise the man.

    • Gregory says:

Remember, you are not alone. That is a fine posting. With the way thing are transpiring now, I am pondering the notion that what is happening is not just coincidence. One or two things can be labeled as such, but this massive amount of nation changing events can only be described as "heaven sent". There is a purpose to what is happening, and I fear that the purpose is nothing short of biblical.

    • kathib says:

Saul Alinsky's book 'Rules for Radicals' is available on Amazon for $10.94 [less if ordering a used copy]

I recommend that we all read it so we understand the mindset and the methods of those who are trying to change this country into something it was NEVER intended to be.

Out forefathers came here in search of freedom……………Obama and his minions will take it away from us unless we fight for it.

      • CULATR says:

Good thought. I have made a point of understanding the mind of the dark side for a long time…. Radicals think a lot like people treated in the books on verbally abusive people. They hate it when you label th tactics they use, and hate it even more when you use their own tactics against them or bait them into using a tactic that you predicted to others they would use. There is one tactic that is left out of the 11 rules. when you frustrate their tactics, they resort to threats and belligerence. That's how you know. The smartest and the most sinister of them will go so far as to agree with you and then make you disappear.

  39. 4CommonSense says:

Obama has never been in a leadership role. He is not capable of making decisions on his own. He has to try and please those who paid to put him in office, those who he wants to vote his way, his cabinet, on and on. This is just one more issue where he will try and walk a tightrope. Eventually even the dumbest voters will realize he is not a leader but a perpetual campaigner and appeaser. I have never witnessed a person in a more powerful position, lacking so many of the qualities necessary to be a strong leader. If I hear one more politician blame the past administration for their woes I will scream. They act like they were not in Congress when all of these decisions were being made. What a joke.

    • Islandsox says:

I just gave you a point for your comments. You mimic what I feel. And most probably many here. For crying out loud, we just want common sense and values for all. What we are seeing are specialized monies for certain groups of people. This is sick at best and it will devalue everyone's rights and interests.

But then that's what Obama is all about; spread everything we hold dear around to everyone who holds nothing dear. The problem with this is we hold dear morals and values and trying to give those to others is impossible for they hold absolutely nothing dear except being taken care of.

We can work hard, we are smart and we HAVE TO DO THIS. This is OUR COUNTRY and we will fight for it.

  42. KZ1776 says:

Obama wouldn't know what torture was if someone inflicted it upon him. Try patrolling the jungles in Nam somewhere, only to come under fire as part of a rookie platoon. You watch helplessly as all of your buddies go down one by one. In the aftermath, you question why you were the only one left standing. Try being captured by the Vietcong, and tortured in so many ways you can still recall the methods they used like they're still happening. Obama has never had bamboo slivers forced under his fingernails. The pain always remains. Yet Obama and his ilk thought Ho Chi Minh and Pol Pot were the greatest things that ever happened since blueberry waffles. People like Noam Chomsky, champion of the left, used to write about him quite eloquently until it was discovered he was a mass murderer. Try coming home from an unpopular war after enduring so much on the battlefield and in captivity, only to be spat on and called a baby killer by your own people. That was Obama and his ilk that did that. What could be more torturous than that?

To all those who were ever left standing alone on the field of battle, wondering why, take comfort in this: It's because God has a plan for you. Don't torture yourselves any more for a handful of ungrateful people. Don't live a life of anger over some idiot in the White House who thinks he knows what torture is. You might not have the pictures to prove it to his satisfaction, but you do carry the memories that put him, and others like him to shame. And believe me, his is the greater shame. While he may not be anti-American he most certainly is a self-hating American, and that is shameful.

I recently read a story about George Washington. (And this is a major paraphrase here.) They said it used to be published in school books at one time. He and his men had come under attack. He watched them fall, one by one. Later, as he looked at his jacket, he found three bullet holes, yet none had touched his skin. George Washington, too, had been protected for what we now know what obviously a divine reason! God's blessings to you.

When they were briefed and said nothing,,,as elected officals they are eaither COWARDS,,,or all just as GUILTY,,,NOT the simple lawyers,,,after all is it not a fact most of the elelected ones who were briefed attorneys,,,

Something about COWARDS in office make me sick,,,9/11/01 they sure did not jump into any uniform, hummm nor did they join in any enlistment drive,,they sure got thier pay raises,,and they were briefed,,,they sure spoke great retoric,,,,yet after over 30 briefings,,,they use this trash of an excuse to mislead the american people,,,

  45. DMN says:

Obama came into power out of nowhere because people were consumed with hate/disappointment in Bush. Obama is trying to keep up the hate for Bush while doing countless damages to the US. If people lose their distraction with Bush, they might actually see what Obama is doing and they might not like it. As long as Obama keeps pushing the "hate Bush" agenda, he can do whatever he wants.

If one person gets killed because of Obama's releasing these records and pictures, it is our duty to prosecute him for treason. We are in charge; Obama works for US!

    • NancyNurse says:

You are probably right about the pointed and the all-consuming hatred of all things Bush. It is too bad that others let stereotyping and the media drive the train about good vs. bad. I was at a meeting at Fort Knox just after the 2004 election and overheard two WWII Veteran's wives from the deep south talk about their intense hatred of Bush for 'getting us into that terrible war.' I was astounded at their assumptions and conclusions. And I thought if veteran's and little old ladies from the south feel that way toward Bush, we are all sunk. I just shake my head at how they really believe that G W Bush set out to bring us into war and that it is all paybacks because they feel that his father was once insulted. No, ladies, he was nearlyassassinated. And not one person did a thing to bring anyone to justice over that, and few talk about it. It was like in their view G HW Bush deserved to be assassinated!
I sincerely hope that Obama does not choose to polarize this nation any further over this matter and drops it.

      • DMN says:

It's interesting how we were supposed to ignore their hate of Bush, but when we say ANYTHING derogatory about Obama, they attack us as racist. Totally weird! They were proud to bash Bush, yet they're proud to be abusive to us for even having a differing opinion about Obama. The world seems to have turned upside down. I believe that Bush helped along this socialist agenda a bit, but Obama is driving it in a sports car with the pedal to the metal!

      • DMN says:

My answer to your post has to get approval, so here it is again:

It's strange how proud Democrats were when they were using their constitutional rights to bash Bush….they were relentless. Now that we have a problem following a fascist/socialist President, it's racist if we even speak. They go so far as to call us "tea baggers" (a sexual innuendo) for even trying to have a voice about Obama's actions. We are called racist if we have any opinions at all about what Obama is doing to our country. Somewhere along the way, right became wrong and wrong became right. Now we are listed as terrorists for even having peaceful meetings. The world has turned upside down.

      • DMN says:

My second comment is going to an administrator. Totally weird! I am just talking about how we have no right to a voice anymore. This site is becoming very fascist.

    • crolland says:

I completely agree with you DMN, but one thing… he can NOT do whatever he wants, because he works for us. We need to stand up and demand he is charged with treason.

      • DMN says:

I don't know that we are going to have the option of charging him with treason. He is in complete charge of the government, since there are no checks and balances. I'm not seeing many Democrats OR Republicans that are willing to stand up to Obama. For our trouble, we're being listed as terrorists. I just don't see a happy ending for this whole process.

  47. DMN says:

If a terrorist blew up someone I loved and I had to use waterboarding to protect other family members, I'd waterboard the crap out of the terrorist. The "peaceful" muslims even cut off heads for things they don't like….which is for EVERYTHING. They're probably snickering about how they were nervous about what the US would do and it turns out it only involved some water in their faces a couple times a month. Now they're probably sharpening every sword/knife they have to show us what REAL torture is! How can Obama be so naive? Or is he??

  48. Ohiowoman says:

They are not covered by the Geneva Convention because they are not representating any state of country, do not wear the uniform of any country and do not follow the Geneva Convention themselves. They are not protected and Congress knows it. They are simply choosing to ignore it. They are not entitled to be tried in our courts. They are not citizens of this country. They are enemy combatants and terrorists and, as such, should be tried by a military tribunal. Period.

  49. pslwd says:

I participated in a poll at MSNBC.com. It showed that 60% of people want the matter dropped. Therefore, I don't think Obama will want to do anything more, as he wants to be popular. Truthfully, he has done WAY too much already. This is a very low, despicable, cowardly act.

    • MikeinIdaho says:

Obama could care less what the American people want or think! He truly believes that he is "The One" and that only what HE thinks and wants is important, nothing else. He is a narcissistic buffon of the highest order who is being lead around by the ears by his true handlers.

  50. Kathaleen says:

I am reading the Geneva convention and would like discussion on this. What I read in Part 2 article 4 is Nationals of a state which is not bound by the convention are not protected by it. How does terrorism fall into this one? I take it as they are not protected???? They are not bound by any state but individualized? Help me with this one.

    • Kathaleen says:

addendum to my above note. Part 2 art 5 states where isn the territory of a Party to the conflict, the latter is satisfied that an indivdual protected person is definitely suspected of or engaged in activities hostile to the security of the State, such individual person shall not be entitled to claim such rights and privileges under the present Convention as would, if exercised in the favour of such individual person, be prjudicial to the security of such State.

  51. gsteinbacher says:

    I have a great idea…

When the pictures of the prisoners are released, why don't we included the devastating pictures of 911 along side for comparison with a caption over the top

    WHICH IS YOUR PREFERENCE

    • liberty1225 says:

Great idea. Or how about for every ONE Gitmo prisoner release we add at least one hundred
names of everyone who died on 9/11. That works for me. Nancy Pelosi can cry a river of tears & lies just as long as she gets her pound of flesh on that watery chopping block of torture and truth. Obama changes his mind as quickly as he changes his pants and I'm not sure if this woman's tears will work on him or not? We really need to ask his wife because she would know.

  52. CULATR says:

Terry…. your hubby is right, but….if he gets to be President of The World, he will only be the figurehead. The real powers are people like The Rockefellers, The Rothchilds, The Russells, Believe it or not, Bush and Obama are on the SAME SIDE. Thet all believe in creating one world government, one world banking system and subordinating us all to a proletariat style bunch of overtaxed serfs serving up our labor to the "ruling class".

Consider this quote from Rockefeller, the controller of JP Morgan Chase among other financial interests:

"For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents such as my encounter with Castro to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as 'internationalists' and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure — one world, if you will. If that's the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it."

You need to do some serious investigation for the sake of your family.

    1. Bilderberg Group (Rock's a member)
    2. Trilateral Commission (Rock's the founder)
    3. Freemasonry
    4. Council on Foreign Relations
    5. Henry Kissinger on the New World Order

David Rockefeller and his international banksters are a very powerful group that control the Vatican, control the heads of state and dictate what the financial system does. Bernanke and Geithner don't act on our behalf, they act on the bidding of The Bilderberg group.

You might think these claims are fantatsic, but if you do, I challenge you to do some googling to take in how much there is written about these people, especially Bilderberg, and form your won opinion. All of our presidents since Kennedy, who wouldn't play ball with them and warned us against secret societies and ended up dead because of it were chosen by The Bilderberg group.

You might ask why the two parties seem against each other. They are really not. For example, Bush got us into a war in IRAQ using 9-11 as the rallying point. They want to keep an eye on the region because the IRAQis and IRAN are not part of the Bilderberg cabal and oil is very important to their plans. Bush's and the rights popularity wanes so they put up a leftist guy and what does he do? Acts weak to our enemies to suck in terror attacks and maybe even an attack over in the middle east with the same exact objective.

Another example. During the Clinton administration, The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, also known as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Financial Services Modernization Act, (Pub.L. 106-102, 113 Stat. 1338, enacted November 12, 1999) was an Act of the 106th United States Congress (1999-2001) which repealed part of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933, opening up competition among banks, securities companies and insurance companies. The Glass-Steagall Act prohibited any one institution from acting as both an investment bank and a commercial bank, or as both a bank and an insurer.

This allowed banks to be exposed to the more risky ventures of insurance and leasing and investment banking.

Also under Clinton, in Dec 2000, he signed leglistaion that exempted derivatives like credit default swaps, which banks sold to each other to "insure" their mortgage backed securities. By insuring them, they were able to reduce the asset base against which they had to keep monetary reserves. The only problem was that the mortgage backed securities that had high subprime content and were rated AAA were not really AAA and began to sour. Since the banks were tethered together by the credit default swaps and had reduced their reserves, they got caught without enough capital when things went bad and the whole thing would have come down because they were holding each other's CDS's

So Clinton (Bilderberg) set up Bush (Bilderberg), and then Barney and Nancy went to work as others did to encourage Fannie and Freddie to loan at zero down payment and very low interest rates. They underwrote half the mortgages in the USA and set the rate in the market. Meanwhile the war stressed our budget but what the heck, it's a war on terror, right?

These guys are shrewd beyond belief. They make us think it's democrat or liberal vs conservative or republican… while we miss who the real enemy is.

raise your voice against THAT. Our voices are wasted fighting each other on relatively smaller matters. The real matter is that the whole country's sovereignty is at stake, because Bush, Obama Clinton and many others want it to be part of the NWO.

It's real. And it's here. It's going to be a hell of a fight.

  53. NUTN2SAY says:

When you have an enemy who makes beheading a sport its rather senseless for a U.S. President and his political friends to take this high moral stance on torture. It only makes America look weak! But on the other hand, part of the liberal agenda is to neuter America right before the rest of the world! A president who will clearly send a worldwide message that says if you mess with America and its citizens, we will torture you and your loved ones and if we have to, we will dig up your deceased family members from their graves and torture them too just for practice, is the kind of president America can use right now. A president with a huge set of teabagging testicles wouldn't hurt either! Not like this neutered guy now in the Whitehouse!

  54. Prepared1 says:

These people got such high marks during the elections as being smart politically, but I think they are complete idiots. I mean, didn't he think about his own future and how the next President may go after him for some of his decisions? They have been so busy paying to their base the have forgotten their limitations..

  55. chasl says:

both obama and soros had a conspiracy against America long before obama ran for elections. remember that george soros ran for elections long before obama and Bush defeated him. soros has not only now but for a very long time has been wanting to "bury" the Bush era and he is now doing it through obama who is NOT even an American Born Citizen..What a Disaster he is. I really don't think he sleeps well at night.

  56. NancyNurse says:

Amen! And no one knows just how much they really mean it until they look into YOUR eyes and tell YOU straight up what they hate about YOU and what they plan to do to YOU–not even after you have tried to help them, given them things, been courteous, etc. I had this happen to me and if looks and words could kill, I'd surely be dead right now and so would everyone on this blogsite and in America in general. The threat I heard with my own ears was very, very real and was meant for liberals and conservatives alike. No amount of 'friendship' can win over these people (the terrorists). I just have to wonder how many GIs have heard this same sentiment while they are 'touring' the middle east. For a religion who wants everyone to believe that they are about peace, they have a funny way of showing that peace. In fact, as I was told, that the name ISLAM does not mean peace at all, but rather submission. As in "I am dominate" and "You will submit." Of course they always throw Allah's name in there–but guess what! I don't worship ALLAH. In fact, I don't even believe ALLAH exists, so NO, I am not going to "submit."
And I don't know how much more submissive those whose "crime" of being in the wrong place at the wrong time was punished by their beheading which was caught on tape. Those criminals looked very serene and passive to me. Couldn't get more submissive. And that is how submission is treated? No thanks. Pass me that water board. An Eye for an Eye and a Tooth for a Tooth is all they will ever understand. Our only hope of survival is to get to them before they can get to us first. Our survival as individuals, our survival as citizens, our survival as a country, our survival as a global community. I only wish others had the kind of wake up call I had in the 90's. And the conversations I have had with so called 'tolerant' Muslims post 9-11. There would not even be any discussion about whether we should use these techniques on high value POWS/captives.

  57. justaroot says:

Obama does not make me feel safe. WHO cares if the CIA uses "enhanced interrogation techniques" I cant believe they are so customer service friendly. Waterboarding sounds bad but what about a blow torch and a pair of pliers? Are we really so civilized we cant defend ourselves? If Obama opens the door to prosecuting previous administrations, we need to use that same 20 20 hind site on his administration. Will his decisions stand the test of time? He has over 1000 days to screw up (even more).

  58. Jared says:

You know what makes me the most sick about this. It doesn't matter what Nancy Pelosi wants. It doesn't matter what Harry Reid wants. It doesn't mattter what Barrack Obama wants. The story shouldn't be about what these politicians want. The story should be that these politicians wont stand up for what Americans want. What matters my friends is what Americans wants. From what I can tell from polls Americans want to feel safe. Most Americans do not want this to happen. Whats the saying? "Do unto others as you would have done unto yourself". This is the "Golden Rule. I would take a waterboarding 80 times a year if I knew it was protecting my family. I guess its not just the American dollar that has been removed from the gold standard. Seems like American Virtue in Washington has been taken off the Gold standard as well.

  59. Jared says:

I am no longer shocked about the broken promises of our President. I am however still quite dismayed. I have to say that there were many times when Bush was in office I was left confused. Obama's constant pandering to the polls however leave me more than confused. With Bush for the most part I at least knew that the ridiculous wouldn't be consisered, I'll remind you I said for the most part. With Obama all is fair game and we are left many times scratching our heads as to where he actually stands. This is no coincedence. He purposely omits any suggestion that he has a stance in most of these situations. You cant blame someone who doesn't do anything, is his mindset. This points like a laser beam to the strength of his convictions and beliefs.

I hate this president for what he is doing to my country. For all his shiny rhetoric, he is the most anti-american president (Chavez excluded) this country has ever seen. I know thats purely just my opinion–but I'm gonna speak my mind for as long as I have the right to do so; And i'll say it again, I HATE THIS PRESIDENT.

    • DMN says:

I share your hate for Obama. I feel nauseous when I hear his voice on TV or see him on a magazine in the store. For all the people who dream of him, I have nightmares. I think his friendliness with Chavez and Castro, his slamming the US on his G20 trip, his membership in a racist church, his having been (still is?) muslim, his blatant disregard for the US economy, his failure to show transparency, his lack of partisanship, his requiring a teleprompter to speak, his close relationships with known terrorists, AND his plans to tax EVERYTHING pretty much have made me hate him.

  61. Tandab says:

How can people call waterboarding torture now, when it is a technique that has been practiced on our Military? Does that mean tht each and every member of our armed forces who has been subjected to this during training has been tortured? And If so, How can the left justify the lack of interest from its own members who did nothing about it for years?

  62. Jerseygal says:

Apparently the Bamster has flipped to his original position on this, after flopping to appease the left, which he flipped to because…I'm confusing myself, so I'm probably confusing everyone here. Oh, you're already confused.

OK, for now he is not for pursuing an investigation. It seems he is lurching around based on what? Polling data and far-left arm twisting. Just be prepared for his final decision to be the most dangerous for this country. More and more moderates who were willing to give him a chance are jumping ship. If they look like promising supporters for our movement, maybe we can pick them up.

  63. SheriS says:

I hope you all heard Glenn's show tonight, Friday. My blood is boiling over the fact our troops were left out of a "hate crime" bill that is now before the House. Debbie Wasserman from Florida was shown stating she was tired of hearing all about these groups that others were pushing when she has gays and Jewish people in her district" and then went on to say our troops don't deserve to be listed as well as those OTHER groups!

I remember when the troops came back from Viet Nam and had garbage thrown at them, they were spat upon by the likes of Jane Fonda, and they were treated like dirt! Unfortunately for the Congresswoman, I've never seen gays treated like I saw my college friends who fought in Viet Nam!

I apologize if I've offended anyone but this story just made me so angry to think someone in Congress would discard the idea our troops receive hateful treatment when I've seen it with my own eyes!

    • I HEARD GLENN TONIGHT,EVERY ONE IN ELECTED OFFICE CARES NOTHING FOR OUR MILITARY,FOR EVERY ONE THAT GRIPES ABOUT THOSE OF US IN THE MILITARY,ARE THE FIRST TO CALL FOR MILITARY HELP WHEN THEY GET IN A JAM,OBAMA SCREWED UP WITH THE PIRATES AND THE CAPTAIN,HE SHOULD HAVE LET THE MILITARY DO THEIR JOB,THE SITUATION WOULD HAVE BEEN OVER IN HOURS INSTEAD OF DAYS WAITING OBAMA TO GET FBI IN PLACE,,,,,WHY FBI,,SOME THING HE CONTROLS ,,OR THINKS HE DOES,THOSE IN UNIFORM WILL WALK HEAD HIGH ALL THE TIME, THOSE THAT CHOSE TO SPIT CALL NAMES NEVER HAD AN OUNCE OF COURAGE TO PUT ON A UNIFORM,SPIT WASHES OFF,,DIRTY MOUTHS ARE EASILY FORGOTTON,,

      • EricaD says:

Spit washes off, ugly words spoken by imbeciles cannot harm them, all these things do not reflect 1 iota on the quality, bravery and dignity of our Military.

    • cindyk says:

I saw the show, and I was beside myself! How could they not include crimes against our troops, when coming home………these brave men and women are fighting, wherever they are told to go……..for the United States Government, I can't believe they would not be included in the hate crime bill! It seems to me, that this administration is setting the stage for our returning troops to be treated like dirt……but I believe if the liberal media, and Hollywood, and this administration stokes the fires …….it will back fire on them!

      • Madazhell says:

Because hate crimes can only be committed against a minority. Some thing they cant change. Race, sexuality
bla bla bla bla, you can call a white woman a white B=tch, not a hate crime, but you cant call a black woman a black B. You cant say anything against a Gay or Lesbian but you can spit on a Christian, or military.

Some need protection. How about protecting our young, babies. No abortion. How about protecting the Old and sick. No Right to die, many old people have no one to protect them from nursing homes that dont get paid for taking care of them, just find a Dr. that will give them an overdose.

        It makes me sick.

    • DianeofIL says:

It makes me sick. My brother was one of those soldiers that returned from Viet Nam and had to put up with all that hate when he returned. He has still not forgotten that. It has stayed with most of those veterans. They know that many of us appreciate them, but it was still so hard for them.

    • Worse than that happened to them, they were called baby killers, urine and feces (human and dog) were thrown at them, girlfriends and wives left them and current Senator from the crappy state of Massa two sh**s John Carry, committed treason against them by giving aid and comfort to the enemy while still an Officer in the Naval reserve by testifying that they were war criminals of the worst order. Along with Hanoi Jane laughing it up having her photograph taken sitting in the gunner's chair of an anti aircraft artillery piece during her and Jerry Brown's (Current Attorney General of California) I am a traitor tour of North Vietnam. Americans truly have ADD when it comes to leftist Democrat politicians; war heroes cannot be elected but traitors can. So much for this nations honoring of the heroes who put it on the line and gave it all so this nation could remain a representative republic not a socialist hell hole……

  64. EricaD says:

    Torture is……………….
What Daniel Pearl Experienced prior to being Beheaded.
What the imprissoned soldiers experienced in Iraq before being murdered, hung and burned from a bridge
What American Citizens Experienced on Sept 11 on the top of the twin towers, knowing the only choice they would have in this life was how to die. (The ones who chose to Jump to there deaths)
What American Citizens experienced on Sept 11 in the the plane that chose to crash themselves rather than kill innocent people.

Torture is seeing and hearing how disrespectful so many americans even in the Highest echelons of our government classify and treat our returning Veterans.
Torture is hearing your Representative President Demean and insult the very people that elected him.
Torture is seeing your Representative President Bowing and being submissive to other leaders.

Torture is not putting a suspected murderer in a box with some flies.

    • DMN says:

You're right, Erica. While the press and Obama's minion are whining about a little discomfort for terrorists, our enemies are sharpening their knives and making plans to kill as many of us as they can. If things don't change, the whiners are going to see the knives up close and personal. Once our enemies realize…if they haven't already…that our President is weak, we are going to have countless murders in our country.
