Retired Chief. Excuse me for not getting back sooner. Nevertheless there are many antichrists as God warned us that were in the world ages ago. Please read revelation 13 and you will see exactly where we are in time right now. obama and his administration have started something that they ARE NOT going to be able to stop or control. It is the same as you tell someone a "lie" and you have to lie your way out of another lie upon another lie. This admin is in a very very dark place and their actions are proving that. they are taking people who believe in them into a "ditch". You see we have to be able to see the end result to be safe from harms way. some are "spiritually blind" and cannot see but God promises to keep His own safe. obama IS NOT THE LORDS because God says that anyone that builds up an image of himself is an abbomination in His(Gods) eyes. Many people will say ..let us leave God out of our affairs and keep this blog "free" from the things of God. Well that is where they go wrong because without God in your life and affairs YOU WILL BE DEFEATED!!!!! You will stay Blind and you will Not See the things that are hidden in men and womens hearts.People speak good things but within their hearts they are "ravenous wolves" God Bless…

“A passionate attachment of one nation for another produces a variety of evils. Sympathy for the favorite nation, facilitating the illusion of an imaginary common interest in cases where no real common interest exists, and infusing into one the enmities of the other, betrays the former into a participation in the quarrels and wars of the latter without adequate inducement or justification.” ~George Washington Farewell Address

“The nation which indulges toward another habitual hatred or habitual fondness is in some degree a slave. It is a slave to its animosity or to its affection, either of which is sufficient to lead it astray from its duty and its interests." ~ George Washington

No S_ _ _t We also helped the taliban fight the russians in afiganistan. Did you know the .50 barret was developed espiecially for them?? Of course you do cause you know everything. Dont mistake keeping things simple with ignorance that would be stupid. Fact is we have changed allies and enemies more than once. I'm still wanting to know how SH magicly gassed the kurds after the desert storm was over?? He had no WMD's so it must have been magic. Maybe he wished the gas there. And trying to make GB1 look like a d_ _ _k to me is a wasted effort. He was a parasitic politician just like every one in office today.

    • No, man, the gassing mostly took place before we sent troops. After the first war and we set up no fly zones and all that, we allowed SH in the cease fire agreement to still use rotary aircraft. So he used helicopter gun ships to take retribution. So, you know US Gov supported groups like Taliban and Hamas. Why can't you put 2 and 2 together? Our gov goes around the world supporting countries that allow us access, like Columbia and Turkey, the biggest recipiants of US weapons aid, and try to subvert gov of other countries, first through corruption of the gov, then by supporting armed forces who want to overthrow their gov, then sanctions and assassination attempts and outright invasion. Look at Nigeria. Shell owns the oil and the fed and oil companies are splitting the wealth and taking it home. Some Nigerians are fighting to break the hold of Shell on their oil. 310 billion stolen from Nigeria in oil, so far. The US Gov is directly responsible for this. Don't you think the honorable thing to do is to let Nigerians benefit from their own oil? It is not Americans doing this stuff, it is the US Gov. Our blame lies in our ignorance of or refusal to beleive in what our gov is doing. If we understand and do not care then \” all men are created equal\” is bs and we should stop lying and change our preamble.

      Richard

Exactelly it mostly took place. But it also took place after when they weren't supposed to have wmd's. I honestly believe that we should have taken out Saddam in desert storm. And believe it or not I actually agree with a lot of what your saying. We have had a long history of supporting groups that we believe have our intrests at heart at the time. Then they turn around and become our enemies. It doesn't matter who the pres. is or was and most of this stuff is done without the knowledge or consent of the people. That is why myself and many of the people here want to start a third party. And put through policies that will elliminate the incentive for career politicians. To put real leaders in office. We havn't always done the right things but I'm not interested in our president going overseas and apoligizing to foriegn countries. And I'm not interested in blaming america for the mistakes of our government. What I am interested in doing is finding a way to put the power of our government back in the hands of the people.

In World War 2 Germany went after Britain again and was bombing the hell out of London, They blitzkreged across Eurpoe and occupied France. They went after Russia and were beaten back by the Russian Winter. The US was still sitting out except for sending in volunteers. We never really got into the war until the attack on Pearl Harbor. Should we have sat this one out too?

Bottom line is we won the war, NATO was setup and we were the Largest free nation at that time so we became the peace keepers.
The Arab states would still be deserts had it not been for the US purchasing their oil and providing technology. Had we been imperialists we would have just taken their oil. I don't see the US setting the price of oil, do you? It is set by OPEC which is controlled by the Arabs. We never invaded their countries except for Iraq. And yes Saddam had to be eliminated.

Ok, I just figured it all out. Obama is going to use palestinian refugees to man the secret police. I know, now you all think I am a nut job. After you read this, <a href=”http://www.thefederalregister.com/d.p/2009-02-04-…” target=”_blank”>http://www.thefederalregister.com/d.p/2009-02-04-… , you may agree. This Presidential Determination No. 2009-15 of January 27, 2009, allows $20.3 million from the United States Emergency Refugee and Migration Assistance Fund for the purpose of meeting unexpected and urgent refugee and migration needs, including by contributions to international, governmental, and nongovernmental organizations and payment of administrative expenses of Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration of the Department of State, related to humanitarian needs of Palestinian refugees and conflict victims in Gaza.

The "presidential determination" will allow hundreds
Of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United
States . The order Provides a free ticket complete with housing and food allowances to
Individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support of the Islamic
Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

Maybe we could get NERF to be the newest small arms manufacturer for our soldiers. That way when we shoot, no one gets hurt feelings. And we could get an easy bake oven to cook brownies with the terrorists we are interrogating. Perhaps the mellow atmosphere and the smell of warm brownies will relax our hostile friends and get them to open up to us. It could work…right?

    • US Gov said Saddam had WMD and capability to use them against the US and that he was responsible for 9-11. Both were not true. You are ignorant. You deny the facts.

Is the Obama administration taking any volunteers to do the tourturing for them yet. If they want a scape goat to blame after the fact I'll take the job. I'm not talking waterboarding either. I'd really torture these guys if it meant saving one American life (even if it's Hilarys). They could throw me in jail after that, because I believe human life is worth much more than these Al quacker guys do.

    • gsteinbacher says:

I have to agree with you when it comes to saving the U.S.A. and all of it's people ther is no limit to what must be done. I may go to hell with that mind set but if it saves one life in this country it would be worth it

Foreign-born terrorists have more rights than the unborn in our own nation. Essentially an unborn child has NO rights.

Why is it that if a woman chooses to end the life of a child growing within her, we call it "choice". Yet if that same unborn child is killed at the hands of another, it is called murder??

  21. nomoretea says:

Saddam Hussein WAS a weapon of mass destruction!!!!! What do you call a man who slaughtered, tortured and imprisoned his own people?? We should not forget that he and his delightful offspring fed people through wood chippers head-first…then switched to feet-first when they got bored. This was their entertainment!

A letter from a Navy Pilot to POTUS: http://a1135.g.akamai.net/f/1135/18227/1h/cchanne...

    Barak Obama
    President of the United States

    Dear Mr. President:

After receiving my wings as a Navy Pilot in December1980, I was forced by the government to attend the US Navy's Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) School in Warner Springs California prior to my assignment as an A-7 attack pilot in Lemoore California. During this training I was forced to exercise, was sleep deprived, got slapped, was knocked down, made to sit in my underwear or naked in 20 degree weather in a confined box, had a fire hose turned on me, and was threatened with a loaded gun. Most importantly my further "torture" included being chained to a bench, elevated by my feet and "water-boarded". Because I was finally "liberated" on President Reagan's inauguration day, the same day the Iranian's released the American Hostages, I know that Jimmy Carter was president at the time of my incarceration in SERE school. Will you please call for an investigation into why Jimmy Carter and every president since the Vietnam War ended has felt our foreign threats were so important that it was necessary to systematically torture US Navy Pilots on a weekly basis through the use of "water-boarding".

Since a call is being made now to investigate and prosecute members of the Bush Administration responsible for water-boarding AI-Qaeda terrorist who attacked our country, I believe it is even more necessary to investigate those responsible for torturing Navy Pilots tasked with defending our country. Also, since the experiences of
former Vietnam War POW's led to the development of the Navy's SERE Training and torture of Navy Pilots, can you please call for an investigation into why Senator John McCain (a former POW, Navy Pilot, and occasional guest speaker at the SERE School) has never spoken out against the systematic torture of US Navy Pilots yet is deeply concerned about the use of the same techniques against the architects of the worst attack on American soil since Pearl Harbor.

If any person in the Bush Administration is convicted of torturing AI Qaeda terrorists I think a class action lawsuit should be filed against the US Government by every Navy Pilot who has been water-boarded. The defendants should be every living president since Jimmy Carter, including Bill Clinton, and all key players in their State, Defense and Justice Departments. Certainly there has to be a compelling National Security Argument with legal rationalization to justify the systematic use of this "torture" against US Navy Pilots particularly if it is illegal to use these techniques against our enemies.

    Sincerely,
    William.
    LCDR USNR (inactive)

PS: I was sworn to secrecy on this issue and told that I would be prosecuted if I ever divulged these national training secrets. I believe that this was an attempt by the Carter Administration to "cover up" their complicity in torturing US Navy Pilots. You might call it "Water-Board Gate". Please use that Harvard Law degree of yours, that the sacrifices of Navy Pilots let you earn, to thoroughly investigate the complicity of Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton in torturing US Navy Pilots – a much greater travesty than actually torturing our enemies. Oh, by the way, water-boarding works!

Harry Reid: President of the Senate
Newt Gingrich: Former Speaker of the US House of representative

Congratulation, MR2! Thanks for your service and your willingness to "protect and defend" country, Constitution and Bill of Rights which we now see being totally discredited by the IDIOTS who now serve our country in Washington DC! If they had one quarter the guts, courage, and dedication you have shown, our country would be a far superior place!

Thanks for your courage in making your statement. I heard anothe pilot yesterday on the radio who speak very much the same thing. He also suggested these DC "idiots" need to remember what the oath they took really said and LIVE IT OUT INSTEAD OF THE STUPIDITY WE NOW SEE IN DC! Frankly, you were willing to give your life to NOW HAVE TO LISTEN TO THOSE SAME IDIOTS SHOW YOU AND YOUR BUDS THE DISRESPECT AND HATRED THEY EXHIBIT DAILY!

Thank you and GOD BLESS YOU FOR ALL YOU HAVE ENDURED!

    • mlbc says:

Thank you for this post. Thank you too for your service to America.

    • MR2 says:

Ok guys, let me clarify – this is a letter from a Navy pilot – not me!

I spent 24 years enlisted/commissioned in Special Forces. I did attend SERE-D in 1990. At that time I was beaten, harshly interrogated and some would say tortured. But not as bad as the old hurry up and wait or picking up pinecones. I was never waterboarded. But they did try to drown me several times during the Combat Divers Course…

I posted this as another's perspective.

  23. JohninNJ says:

The president over the past few days has warned that his country is losing its "moral bearings" and must deploy the "power of our values" to stay on the "better side of history."

How can anyone take this president seriously? What "moral bearings", the morality learned from all of his mentors prior to getting elected? Or his great patriotic values learned from Ayers.

    • When Obama uses the phrase "power of our values", whose values is he referring to?

If anyone would like to do a little deep digging for the kernels of liberal and socialist thought that are part and parcel of the Columbia University faculty that formed many of Obam's attitudes, look at:

      http://asteria.fivecolleges.edu/findaids/sophiasm...

The link takes you into the "scholarly archives' of one Frances Fox Pivens. When you see the titles of the papers, lessons, and correspondence; then you get to appreciate the level of Socialist tendencies and tactics employed with groups like ACORN, community organizers and so on. It's an ugly list, if you can connect the mental dots, you begin to see the depth of the 'academic' mind of our current POTUS.

Even more so, it identifies why it is so vitally important for us to educate our neighbors about the goals, thoughts and writings of our founding fathers. I love the fact that Glenn has inspired so many people to read history again, but we need to harness the raw instructive power of the internet and drilling down clue by clue to see what our leaders have been allying themselves with politically befoer they became prominent and in power.

    • DMN says:

I think he's talking about the "moral bearings" he learned from Reverend Wright during his 25 years of Black Liberation Theology training. When you couple that with Obama's muslim teachings, he has a much better moral bearing than we do….WRONG!

  24. Backdraft says:

We shouldn't care what the world thinks of us when we are at war, and has anyone forgotten that we have a lot of allies that are fighting with us. They must like us. O needs to get off his high horse and start just thinking about us, not whether or not our enemies are happy with how they are being treated.

  25. Backdraft says:

How is giving away all of our tactics a good idea. If you get captured… This will happen to you and this won't. These guys don't follow the Geneva convention rules… They don't have rules of engagement… They don't send there fighters to prison for returning fire across an imaginary border line… We have things so screwed up right now it's criminal on it's own. We won freedom for this country by going against the normal rules of engagement. The malitias during the revolutionary war targeted officers, and fought in the woods hitting hard and then moving on (guerilla warfare) in a time that combat was to be fought on the open battle field at a designated time, and officers were not to be targeted. We limit our ability to win this war and any war in the future when we don't let our guys fight and yes KILL the enemy. And then throw on top of that we are going to tell the enemy how we operate. This needs to stop!

    • acheyjake says:

Backdraft, my friend. You mixed up so many different interpretations of combat tactics and history in one post. I know what you are talking about, but most won't.

Take care friend and work on your writing skills.

  26. americanj says:

Who would have thunk it? Obama scares our own CIA people more than he does the terrorist. Obama scares Americans more than he scares Osama Bin Laden. Another attack on our shores coming? It's no longer a question of if, but when and where? The year 2013 can not come fast enough. By global warming, Obama could mean the warmth from a terrorist bomb.

  27. Iraq and Iran are the obvious ones. Remember the Shah and how about the fact that Saddam was supported by the US Gov? There's two.

  28. Canada and Mexico play by our rules and American oil companies control Canadian oil. Ask a Canadian, I did. In my travels there was a man from Argentina who did tell me that his country looks to America for inspiration. It's the American people who make us great, not our government.

  29. Tom_Ray says:

Lets do this in the manner of science and philosophy. All things being equal the simplest answere must be true.
Obama is a radical muslim…there problem out in the open, lets act accordingly and not waste all our time postulating and complaining. Now that we have our answere lets look to the Constitution for guidance.

    • acheyjake says:

Come on Tom_Ray. There is no evidence that President Obama is a radical muslim. That fact blows your premise out of the water.

      Lame.

  30. mwb1951 says:

We have a president who does not understand that the day 19 young men flew planes into American buildings, the rules of engagement were set. They were set by people who declared themselves enemies of our country and our way of life. Once the enemy sets the rules of engagement and they make it clear that morality is not a factor, we are fools to try to be moral against this enemy. If our president were a true pragmatist, he would understand this. It's tragic that he does not and we will pay a high price over the long run.

    • acheyjake says:

Friend, you are correct. Your point does not help us now.

    • chasl says:

I do not know what you think about 911 but on that day it was as though God was showing me something . I saw the grey hair and head of bill clinton appearing in my mind and up till today that image keeps coming up.

  31. I say we all gather and move to a place where we will stand and defend each other, our rights, our property and our families. When our government comes a calling which is inevitable, they will take away every freedom we have ever had away; however we then can and will defend each other, our rights, our property and our families. So help us God.
