That is a very good website. I like the information. A few days past I was also searching the web. I found 2 other websites that came up with the same scenario of a natural phenominon ranging from anywhere from 60-65,000 year cycles. Also in their comments it was stated that this was nothing more than a great hoax being perpetrated on a world wide basis. This hoax is to generate large amounts of money for those who instigated it. I tired to go back to those sites to bookmark them but got a 404 error. Will try again later. One of the sites had something to do with Al Gore & how he twisted the real information he was given. This is leading up to the Cap & Trade" bill. If the Cap & Trade goes through our energy costs will skyrocket.

Y'all know all this Global Warming stuff got a big push from Big Al Gore. Here is my theory. Al lost the Presidential Election so Al went into solitary confinement in the Great Smokey Mountains. While on his mountain, he grew a beard and he came up with a scheme to get his revenge on the American people. Aha, Global Warming! Boy is Al getting his revenge. Thanks Al.
By the way, my great-aunt and her husband who was the Law Dean at Vanderbilt many years ago, were invited to several dinners at Daddy and Mama Gore's home. When Al was running for president my aunt said she would never vote for him because Al was a mama's boy. She said whenever she attended those dinners, Al would cling to his mama's skirt. Go figure.
Friends, I was highly disappointed when I arrived at home from work today and there were no articles on the 912project.com oriented toward Earth Day. If there had been an article oriented toward earth day, I would have posted the following.
My Earth Day Celebration. 4-22-2009. By acheyjake.
Friends, I began Earth Day 2009 by doing what I usually do almost every Wednesday of the year by awaking to my alarm clock. I then rolled over and hit the snooze button. I was awoken again a few minutes later. I love big electricity, and big snooze buttons.
I rolled out of bed, put my dog walking clothes on, and took my big brown noser for a walk. No, I'm not talking about a politician, unfortunately. After a routine walk of my big brown noser, named Jake, I went back inside my apartment and turned ALL of the lights on. Bright lights are important to me in the morning when I have to be at work when it is still dark outside. They help me wake up and get motivated if you know what I mean.
After walking my big brown dog, named Jake, who only has three legs, and I fed my dog Jake, I consumed some milk from a cow, along with other various animal proteins and yogurt, and some orange juice.
I then took a shower using lighting from big electricity and water heated by big natural gas. My dog Jake always lays outside the tub when I shower, and , did I mention Jake has only three legs and that I saved Jake off the street? After taking a shower, I got myself dressed and ready to face the day.
Jake, as usual, and I don't blame him, is always unhappy to see me leave. Jake always gives me THAT look because he knows our routine, and it is an inevitable routine. I have to go to work, Jake has to stay at home. We both accept this and move on and make up for it when I arrive home.
I then hopped in my Ford, that uses gasoline refined from big oil, and drove to work.
When I arrive at work, I meet up with an associate of mine and we coordinate and we depart our company office with a company truck, that uses gasoline refined from big oil, with everything we need to accomplish what we need to accomplish that day for the people we need to accomplish it for. I love long run on sentences.
This is where I get to My Earth Day Celebration.
My associate and I went to a place of beauty, a place of decisiveness. We went to a place where rabbits run and steel is manipulated. We went to a place where hawks look to devour creatures that are living, such as rabbits. We went to a place where turkey vultures float lazily in the sky, waiting for something to die. We went to a place where man isn't concerned with the death of animals to provide food for a family, we went to a place where a man does provide food for his family and if he hunts for sport, he donates the flesh of the animals he kills to charitable organizations.
When we arrived at this place, we were given a job list. A list for the day that contained the work we were supposed to accomplish and we did our best to accomplish that work for the day, mostly. Hey, we're only human.
We went to work using Iridium-192, a source of gamma radiation, to inspect large steel objects that will be used to refine petroleum, you know, crude oil. YES, we celebrated Earth Day by working with a radioactive substance and, basically, we did this to take internal photos, similar to X-ray, of the inner structure of very large steel objects to insure they are sound and safe for the refinement of crude OIL.
I love BIG oil and if there was such a thing as big NUCLEAR, I would love that too. Oh wait, there is such a thing as big nuclear. Ever hear of it? How about big coal?
On this day of great celebration of Earth Day, my friends, ask yourselves why we still derive most energy from oil, coal, and nuclear?

If this isn't enough how about we just study the co2 levels over the last billion years. If we rid ourselves of meat and trees we will not have to worry about it? Yes, I had read this as well when my parents called asking if they should just not plant a garden this year.The home garden was not affected and I told my parents they shopuld be ashamed of themselves for actually thinking about following the bill as fact. It is now worded differently when I first read it, and although still vague it is a little better than the first one that did state farmers markets, etc., my guess is this will be expanded quickly and the first bill wording will come back into play.
I have already stocked up on heirloom seed, and anyone else interested in doing so please research genetically modified seed. They are not healthy seed and will disrupt the growth of heirloom seed so should not be planted together.
I too am a frustrated parent. Today at school my kids had to recite poetry and blow bubbles while they watch a tree being planted in honor of earthday. Next year my kids are not going to school that day in protest. However at the begining of the year a paper comes home for me to sign regarding video viewing in school. I has me state what subject matter I will allow my child to see. I always put down material regarding magicians and witches etc. but now I am going to state that I want to be called regarding these rediculous green movies. I have no problem with a few recycle videos but stuff on killing polar bears no!
My brain has stopped believing what my ears are hearing, and in the case of Obama's bow to the Saudi king, what my eyes are seeing. Luckily my brain blocks out illogical arguments, so I ignored this twit, much like the cow haters. I think they need more protein.
I believe that global warming is caused by all of the hot air coming out of the mouths of politicians. If we took all of the politicians in the world and tied them to a large donkey wheel, they could generate enough electricity to power a country, and they would actually be doing something useful. They could shout their platitudes to each other and if we could capture their hot air as well we could really save the world.

Is it possible to believe that global warming has some real scientific background, but reject the fact that it is man made. All I have done is presented fairly well documented facts. No place have I indicated that I believe global warming is man made.
The question is not, is global warming real, but is it man made, which I do not believe and posts previous to this can substantiate this.

The problem is they only look at one factor. During the dust bowl in oklahoma it was normal to be 120 degrees outside because there was no vegitation…..not because there was too much! But he needs to take careful stock of himself and just what his role is here. If our confidence is flagging and our morale as a people are too, what he can expect is lukewarm support in time of dire circumstance at best and opposition at worst. Popularity means zero in the real world.

The ACLU has been given too much authority in this country. I agree with everything you have said. Just having an ADD moment. My son was putting a windmill lego set together which has a crank on the back to make the windmill go. Anyways one way to get the windmills to spin in PA would be to hook up the windmills to treadmills and give jobs to the overweight people to walk on the treadmills. In that way, PA would be combating two causes global warming. Not that I advocate this policy. I am just saying.

company, "Buy our product and cool the earth… as we will plant a tree"… for example, I shoot back a quick reply, to let them know "ENOUGH, ALREADY!!!!! YOU'RE MAKING BLOOD SHOOT OUT OF MY EYES!!!!!"
I saw a commercial during Glenn Beck that showed the earth on a dinner plate, like our food was causing global warming! How do we stop these idiots and the elites who are pushing this green agenda on the world???

This ranks right up there with the idea that farmers ought to be taxed on the amount of methane gas produced by their animals. It is nothing more than an attempt to rationalize their idea that some people are "more worthy" (think the health care treatment board in the stimulus bill) or more deserving than others………and an excuse to tax us more!

I will be working on air conditioning systems on earth day . you no the origional scape goat freon will be used in mass quantities. this global warming crap started with freon because of chlorine gas one of the main ingredience in freon. then it was cow flatulence and then CO2 now its fat people.I say it is all of the politicians in the world are causing global warming every time they open there mouths.
