I think first and foremost Global Warming is a political science, not a true science. The planet goes through cycles over the years, like when Antarctica was mapped by ground penetrating radar they found that an ancient map (i forget what culture made it) was completely accurate. The effect we as humans with our industry have had on this cycle is minimal at best, we need to remember there are pockets of methane under the ocean floor that are constantly leaking into the air. For those who don't know methane is also a green house gas and is roughly 10X worse than CO2 and are we doing anything to prevent this NATURAL occurrence NO because there is nothing to do. Now I'm not saying that these higher standards to reduce emissions are a bad thing I mean we do breath the air and it would be a good idea for us to keep it clean, but don't tax us for how much we drive, or how much our cows fart that's rediculous.
Does Al Gore know this?
He will have something stupid to say about it like they drilled in the wrong place or something stupid like that. Guess this blows his theory out of the water.
A few months back I read a scientific study that concluded that if the glaciers on Greenland continue to recede at the current rate for 20 years, they will return to the way they were when Erickson first mapped them. They also concluded that Erickson's maps were right because he described things he could have never seen if they were under ice. I cannot find that report again so if any one knows about it let me know.
I'm a landscaper. The more co2 – the more plants grow – the more job security I have. this all makes me wanna get a bottle of co2 and just open the vave.
