I listened to Glenn on the radio from texas on April 15, 2009. I didn't attend a tea party on the 15 of April but I was thinking about all the people that were able to attend the tea parties. I was helping my mom on that day but I was able to listen to Glenn on the radio and I cheered everyone on. I do what I can do. I am reading American History and making comments on this site, and I am flying my flags. And I am talking to people about this site and trying to tell them we need you. I hope that is good for the time being.

    Glenn,
My husband and I attended the Alamo Tea Party you hosted your show from and we both agree that it was wonderful to see all the people who agree with us. We met many people that were standing around us and it was nice to be able to exchange points of view. My husband took many photos of the many signs that were proudly held by all of the participants in attendance. If anyone would like to see these photos they were posted on HoustonNewsWire.com. Let's keep the pressure ongoing to make sure that the politicians know that we are not fooling around about the direction that they seem to be taking our great country. We don't like it and we are not going to just sit around and take it anymore. We also made the trip to the Alamo from north of Houston.

  3. I decided to attend the TEA Party in Boerne, Texas. I'd watched Glenn, Ted and the Great Texans on TV. What a wonderful gathering of Patriots it was. Upon arriving, the City Park had a large crowd. I'm not a good judge at know how many folks showed up. Although, there had to be at least five thousand people in the crowd. The most impressive thing I noticed were the speeches given by common every day folks from the gathering.

People are truly fed up with the spending of tax dollars. Fed up of Congress Critters talking out of both sides of their mouths. Fed up with these same Congress Critters NOT following there platform for witch they were voted.
And, I see a NEW PARTY forming in OUR Great Nation. The Constitutional Party. One that follows the Constitution and one that remembers, "We The People" are the CEO's, not the Congress Critters.

  6. Did you see the news media coverage of the tea party? NO MORE! partisan spin to take the focus off the fraud & cover up. The Prompt Corrective Action Law requires them to close these institution. Paulson & Geither are mandated by law. You can point to suspects in both partys. What would happen if after a plane crashes, we said, "Oh, we don't want to look in the past. We want to be forward looking. NO!
Why hasn't anyone been brought to justice over this?
CALL, EMAIL, or PROTEST YOUR MEDIA OUTLETS NO PARTISAN SPIN !! NO SPIN !!

The Texas Tea Party was the greatest. I was inspired as I watched so many of you STAND UP AND BE COUNTED!
You can always count on Texans to be proud of their country and can't bear to watch Washington try and destroy your spirit and pride.
THANK YOU TEXANS for attending the Tea Party!!

This may be a bit hokey, but it is the Ballad of the Alamo with excerpts of the original movie and the quote about drawing the line in the sand.

Thanks for representing Texas all who were there.
    God Bless You!

  11. Glenn,

“Free speech” quashed by the main
    stream media in “America”…..

    Came over from Houston
for the San Antonio Tea Party.

As we were leaving our hotel
to walk over to the Alamo we
    witnessed a very sad event.

    An elderly gentleman was asking
the desk clerk for directions to the
Alamo so we said follow us as we
knew the way to the Tea Party.

He just stood there for a long time
and then said that he was not sure
if he should go after all as he had
heard on the news that there may be
    violence.

We found the crowd to be very polite
    and well behaved.

Glenn, I was there. I stood outside the crowd and did get a glimpse of you as you walked by. My son gave Ted a high five. I enjoyed myself immensely. For some reason, the media did not treat the protesters in San Antonio like they did at other parties. Come to think of it, only the local news showed up. I wonder why?
