It doesn’t surprise me that this bit of news has such a low response. I’m #28, could this be a sign of our lack of concern about it? Other than the problems that are occurring on this side of the border, I could care less.
People have been yelling for too long about the corruption south of the border.
My only concern is the crap the low life scum from south of the border are dragging north.
    Is anyone surprised by this?

    It is a fact that:

    1. We can neither accept nor support everyone on the planet who wants to come here.

    2. As a sovereign nation, it is in our best interests to seek out and encourage those individuals whose talents lie in areas where we are lacking to apply for entry.

    3. We can and must control our borders! If this means a fence, then build it! If we need surveillance devices, get them online!

    4. We are a melting pot, not a multi-cultural society! This means that our cultures are blended, not segregated into separate communities. This means learning English, following our customs and our laws.

    5. The 14th Amendment to the Constitution was certified in 1868 so that slaves and their children would be considered citizens and therefore not be deported. It was NOT written so that the children of parents who illegally entered this country would be considered citizens.

    6. Mexico is a major problem for us. The majority of illegal aliens in our country come from Mexico, and have the equivalent of a 6th grade education. They send the bulk of their earnings home to Mexico, they do not learn English, and they cost us billions of dollars annually. The majority of weapons confiscated in Mexico do NOT come from the U.S. but from other nations. Mexico fiercely defends their southern border (with our dollars!) but refuses to do the same with their northern border.

In light of all of this, WHY on earth is our president apologizing to Mexico?? Can this man open his mouth and not have an apology fall out? How do I get access to his teleprompter?

  3. waterdoor says:

LOL. Yah let him stay in Mexico for as long as he wants.

  4. Obama lied again by ignoring the facts and repeating Hillary's statement about how many guns arrive in Mexico from the United States. I have a friend that works for a Government agency on both the borders of Arizona and California. Out of the 331 firearms taken on his last tour, four were traced to legal sales in Arizona. 29 were tracked to California. 11 were found to have been sold in 9 other States. ALL WERE STOLEN. Some as long as five years ago. The rest were not traceable to any State. Quite a large percentage originated in China.

Fact: Joe Biden has lied publicly; as has Hillary, Rahm, Pilosi and Timmy. I really do believe that all of these people now in High Office have their own agendas and in the long run will be of no benefit to Obama or this Country.

Conclusion: NEXT TIME YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY; VOTE!!! I have made a vow to get at least 50 people registered and voting next time around AND I swear that figure will be exceeded. I don't care what persuasion you are…….Democrat, Republican, Libertarian or whatever…….Get off your lazy butts and VOTE!!!

As I said in another post, Mexico must be left to fight their own battles. We must do our part on our side of the border to keep guns and money from going that way and keep drugs from coming this way. Mexico must do their part on the border to make sure drugs stop coming this way and guns and money stay on this side.

It has to be a joint effort, but with each of us worrying about our own problems.

  6. rcalogeroglo says:

Mexicans should be fighting Mexico's drug cartels, when this spills over on america's soil, we take over. End of american appeasement. Stop illegals from entering america, by any means necessary. "Give us your poor, weak, and hungry", if they come here legally!!

  7. UAV1 says:

Once again getting deeper involved and apologizing.Look lets quit the act start looking out for own country and once that is good then lets venture out.

  8. Madazhell says:

I'm sick to death of this guy, I think he is turning me into the radical extremist I've been reading about. arrrrrrrragh

  9. Backdraft says:

"OMG everyone can have a piece of me, no need to fight. On behalf of the USA I apologize." -Obama after the fire fight.

I agree with everything you said.

I would add however that not every person who wants to come here, even though good natured and willing to do exactly as you said, can be allowed to come here. It simply isn't possible for the USA to absorb them all.

Liberty spreading around the world is the answer for those who cannot be allowed to come here. This is believe is possible – if enough people are willing to stand up for their own liberty.

  12. jbacs says:

At this rate of growth the Mexican economy might eventually come to rely on these drugs in order to maintain it's current growth

  13. Gregory says:

Exactly! Why pay for weapons that are only semi-auto. Those automatic weapons come from their own government.

  14. Minuteman79 says:

You have to admit, the Mexican military must have done a good job, 15 druggies killed and only 1 fatality on the good side. I do find it interesting how our Prez didn't bother to make any concrete promises, hey but he made the Mexica government feel better right?

  15. PirateNPink says:

Illicit drugs: major drug-producing nation; cultivation of opium poppy in 2007 rose to 6,900 hectares yielding a potential production of 18 metric tons of pure heroin, or 50 metric tons of "black tar" heroin, the dominant form of Mexican heroin in the western United States; marijuana cultivation increased to 8,900 hectares in 2007 and yielded a potential production of 15,800 metric tons; government conducts the largest independent illicit-crop eradication program in the world; continues as the primary transshipment country for US-bound cocaine from South America, with an estimated 90% of annual cocaine movements toward the US stopping in Mexico; major drug syndicates control the majority of drug trafficking throughout the country; producer and distributor of ecstasy; significant money-laundering center; major supplier of heroin and largest foreign supplier of marijuana and methamphetamine to the US market (2007)

  16. Ohiowoman says:

While I applaud the efforts of the Calderone government to get rid of these thugs, they need to clean their own house while they are at it. The guns being used by these thugs didn't come from the United States, unless they are the guns we supplied to their military. We don't need more illegal immigrants crossing into our country and we don't need Amnesty either. There are many good people who came here from Mexico legally and that is what should apply to everyone else.

  17. Dustyluv says:

    I can almost hear Biden..

."Yea I was out there leading the way for our President, fighting off the drug Lords witht he Mexican Army at my side".

  18. Obama is going to chicken out. Otherwise he will bring an army of security and cost us us a small fortune. It is all a show anyways. He is probably smuggling some of the trillions to Mexico's dirty banking system.

  19. Boopster says:

15 drug smugglers or dealers dead! Keep up the good work Mexican Army. Sorry they lost a soldier.

  20. Brass says:

I want this nation to return to it's heritage. To be able to state loudly and proudly to the world, "Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free!"

We will not be able to do so until BOTH our immigration policy is fixed AND our borders secured. I want Mexicans to be able to come to this nation freely. If they wish to do business with us, excellent! If they wish to visit for tourist reasons, excellent! If they wish to leave Mexico and become an AMERICAN citizen, I welcome them with open arms.

BUT (and you knew that was coming…) they must come here legally. They must be willing to start a new life here, follow our laws, speak our language, live AS an American. Not a Mexican in America, an AMERICAN in America.

If an individual wants to immigrate to this nation we should make this possible for them to do. We need to provide them with the means to do and to do it in a timely manner. We also need to have a GOOD debate on the issue, thoroughly discuss the options that let good people become citizens. We DON'T need a crappy policy jammed down our throats. We DON'T need amnesty.

Make people EARN the right to be a citizen. Make them WANT to be here, WANT to make a better life. We, the CURRENT citizens, DEMAND you give us a say!

  21. KZ1776 says:

It's funny how we never hear of any skirmishes between Mexican troops and drug thugs until Obama goes to Mexico. I wonder if the teleprompter arranged this? A teleprompter that's smart enough to teach Obama how to say merci boku might just be smart enough to stage a fight between Mexican troops and drug thugs.

  22. Texan2 says:

Living in close proximity to the Border I find it interesting and enlightening to note this: Mexico has some of the strictist gun control laws you can imagine. Simply crossing the border with a single shell in your glove-box can land you in jail. Despite these laws, or perhaps because of it, criminals are in possession of military-grade weapons, including anti-aircraft guns and the average law-abiding Mexican national is unarmed and unable to protect themselves or their families. Ya think Obama and his fellow gun-control alcolytes know this? Probably.

    • KZ1776 says:

Ever notice the countries that have the strictest gun laws also have the highest crime rates?

      • Now that’s not fair I am sure they enforce the laws on all the gringos down there. So there is enforcement. I am sure that the gangs roaming around with machine guns are just helping enforce their laws. I am still not sure where you buy full auto AK-47’s in the USA, I am sure they come from some store in Texas, yeah right! Why don’t they give us the serial numbers of the guns to track them back to where they could have been sold in the USA. Maybe it is because the weapons were sold by their army to the gangs?

  23. Billerz says:

According to OB Mexico is a world leader and shouldn't have any problems in regards to security for our president. I wonder what consessions he gave to them, I know he reversed the contraversial Mexican trucking issue that was stopped a while back, I just wonder how many gates he'll provide them in our unfinished security fence?
