no it's not tax dollars as such,it's the point of the whole thing. The fact that she AND her hubby more than have the money to pay it back but they'd rather ask the american people who I might add are seeing tough times to donate so she doesnt have to use her money.
Wonder if Monica will donate?
I Would Not Walk Across The Road To See Bill Clinton, For Free!!! I Think It Would Be Ill Advised For A Woman To Be Around Him, Let Alone Spend A Day With Him. If James Carville Is So Concerned About Her Debt, Let Him Pay It Off For Her, I'm Sure CNN Pays Him Well.
Who cares about seeing american idol in person. I don't watch the show and have never watched it. Just another ploy for Hillary to pay off her debt.
Glen Beck Thank you for standing up for us and our great Country, Not everyone may agee with you 100% but you have the guts to stand up and say what you believe in. We love our ccountry and want to stop the march toward Socialism. Lets ask our Washington congress, senate and fat cats to stop gi9ving themselves raises and collecting big salaries even after they retire. Lets start cutting the fat from the top.
Not interested in seeing American Idol in person, far less thrilled about seeing Hillary in person as well. Guess I will hold on to my money for something far more thrilling, like filling my car with a tank of gas, or buying food.
No thanks, shrill,
You are NOT the Lord thy God…
You are just a plain old idol, apparently without portfolio at this time…
AMEN Sister!
No, Obama supports limiting the charitable deduction for rich people, not eliminating it.

To be honest part of me wants to make a donation just for the chance to tell some of the rich and powerful exactly how I feel; Lord knows that they will not listen to my emails or letters. They would be expecting some sycophant to show up and they get me. That is a Kodak moment if there ever was one. Telling Clinton exactly how I think he messed up this nation and thanking him for Al Gore. Being able to tell Carville how biased he is and possibly debating him into the ground. Come on, that is truly trempting.
Sounds like another disguised entitlement program to me.
I do not understand why people are offended by this. It is not like its tax dollars. You do not have to donate if you do not want to.
I jusr sat here and read the article…..I had a little puke come up into my throat…..
ANOTHER BAILOUT? This time under the guise of pimpin' old Bill out? It gets better……maybe, just maybe you could be lucky enough to have a little something something with James Carvill!! COME ON! Are those the only carrots she has to lure donations? If so, I fear she will be a long, long time paying off that debt! Here's an idea! Why don't she just fail to pay her taxes like most of the other appointees have – that would have saved her some money to pay off that debt! What a joke!!! They have brought such shame to the highest offices in this Country – it's sad to see we have come to this!
OMG, Hillary is pimpin' her husband out to pay for the campaign!
You couldn't pay me for this one! THere's not enough tea in (Washington DC.) China!!
This is a joke, right? Tell me it is a joke.
A not very funny joke to say the least………….of course our whole Executive Branch is a JOKE.
"Want to talk politics with me? How about a spending a weekend in D.C. You will have lunch with me and my great friend Paul Begala. We will talk about politics, you will get to tour all the amazing sites D.C. has to offer and who knows what else could happen! "
That last statement sounds ominous to me when we are talking Bill Clinton. I think I'll pass. I wonder what Monica's advice would be about this "once in a lifetime fantastic opportunity."
"A liberal is someone who feels a great debt to his fellow man, which debt he proposes to pay off with your money."– G. Gordon Liddy
If indeed all funds raised go specifically to pay off the debt of S.O.S Hillary Clintons failed presidential campaigns debt. Good, the businesses should be paid .
It would be an embarrassment for Former President Bill Clinton if the winner actually chose American Idol.(no offense to American Idol fans.)
The ultimate bailout. I wouldn't pay five cents to spend a day with either Clinton or Carvelle. As for American Idol, who really cares. Hoo Hummm
She has to pay off her debt but the country doesn't have to worry about its debts?
I find a twist of irony in this story.
No she wants YOU to pay off her debt, liberals are only liberal with someone else's money.
check, look at just Joe's charitable contributions.
I see he deducted $172,000 on his schedule A for CHARITABLE Contributions.

I thought he wanted to get rid of charitable contributions?
Wouldn't it be nice to see someone LEADING by EXAMPLE for once. Just because he gave the money does not mean he had to deduct it. Obama should have lead by example and not deducted them and paid more federal tax.
Really? I thought they decided not too pay it off, then they did. It didn't make much headway in the mainstream media, but, I remember reading and hearing it was taken care of behind the scene? Now I'll have to recall where I got my info, but, this sounds like a scam. They make enough money and they wanted to be president, sometimes you lose out. Get over it and move on. No way should anyone go to this event. I wouldn't give this lady one penny, they have been making money hand over fist at our expense.
Supporting Clinton to pay-off her campaign debt? Now that is supporting terrorist activities! What Hillary, your hubby no longer doing speaking engagements and does not want to spend millions you have in the bank and want the suckers to bail you out? Are you kidding!
Very Well Put freemanredneck
He has given an average of $369.00, that's probably to Big Al's Greepeace BS.
