I seem to remember a group of brilliant and inspiring men, that gathered together to oppose their rulers because they believed "it it their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government" (1) and therefore wrote the Declatation of Independence. In it they stated "that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life" (2). They then went on to write a document called the Constitution which became the law of the land (3). The Amendments it contains declare the rights of citizens and the restrictions of the government, the Second of which states "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed" (4). They then elected George Washington as President, a man who fought in both the French and Indian War as well as the Revolutionary War (5). And if history serves me correctly, one major cause for the revolt of these men was taxation without representation (6). Now, if the DHS considers the above mentioned beliefs to be extreme, then they are in direct opposition to the principles that this country was founded upon. And if agreeing with these beliefs makes me a radical, just as these great men who by their beliefs and their actions forever changed the world and the course of human history, then Secretary Napolitano I am honored!!

After hearing the crap from CNN and the White House over the Tea Parties, I fear that you are correct.
$40 Million, That is what was still owed on Three Rivers Stadium in Pittsburgh. The people voted no to public monies going to build new stadiums and the state and local governments went ahead and gave us them anyway. All the libs like to call our country a Democracy, which it is not, we are a Representative Republic, yet everytime we vote something down that the libs want they go around the voters and tax payers anyway. This does not matter what the subject; Gay Marriage, Stadiums, Illegal Alien Amnesty. But, boy let us prove that they committed voter fraud then the riots begin. Everyone knows that in order to beat the libs we have to win by double digit % otherwise we lose because of the fraud.

The bimbo did'nt stop to think the people were paying for that stimulus and that's why they were in the streets. She also turned off the cameras and said right before doing so that this demonstration was not for family viewing. Well, here's my story – I am a strong conservative was liberal when I was young, now I am very conservative. I don't believe in abortion (very personal choice and I am not God so I am not qualified to make it for anyone but me.)
We have several guns and ammunition to help the guns produce the result we are seeking when we get them out. I live in Texas and am proud of my governor for his stance for the 10th amendment. I am married to a marine that served in Vietnam….now you want to see some military guys that were unappreciated, not welcomed home and came home with baggage the love of my life will fit that bill. Also, I did inhale. (did operative word here). I raised my son without the governments assistance and am very proud of him, why? Because he loves God, graduates from college in a month, pays his mortgage (We also pay ours), drives a big truck that drinks gas like I drink water….and I love my water.
Now I guess I qualify for a radical extremist….when they come arrest me they won't even let me smoke in jail, probably, but would let me do a lot of other things….so I hope when DHS start rounding us up I will be in good company and I appreciate that and each of you for listening to me rant about what a totally terrible goverment is doing.

My heart was swollen with pride today to see AMERICANS from all walks of life standing up for OUR COUNTRY! Please don't let the fires die out but let it become the torch of liberty! We have to survive the 2010 and 2012 elections before we are able to say we have completed the task at hand. Then, we must NEVER relax again and let these atrocities happen in the future because we didn't take advantage of our right to vote for honesty and integrity in OUR government. I would like to clear up some misconceptions about, me and millions of my fellow
American brother and sisters. I have served my country in the US Navy for 22 years.
I had take an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, many times
during that 22 years. But the first one was all that was needed. I still consider that oath valid
and will so to the day I am put to rest. I am also a member of the NRA, and VFW, I still
pray to God and believe that I have the right and Responsibility to defend my family and my
country from all enemy’s foreign and domestic. If you feel that I am a threat to this country that
I served, and love then, I say put my name at the top of the List.
I think you will find, I will be in good company.

Yesterday Tom Tancrato was giving a speech on illegal immigration at a college in North Carolina and the ractical left threw rocks through the window then went past security into the class room and practically mobbed him. Pennsylvania's Governor Ed Rendell abviously agrees with Secretary Napolitano as he is calling for the ban of guns that are not for hunting. Do these politicians really believe that the 2nd Amendment is about hunting?

I too vote for demanding that Secretary Napolitano resign. She is doing just what Obama asked her to do in promoting his agenda for the Liberal Left. Just today, Pennsylvania's Dem Senator is asking for a new Assault Rifle ban. There has been talk about registering all firearms. The liberals are afraid of Poplulist Conservative movements. It scares them to think we would return to our Constitution. Put a stop to Socialism now.

In January The DHS released a report titled "Leftwing extermists likely to increase use of cyber acttacks over the coming decade"….
i just recently learned of that report. funny how they name specific left wing groups that are known to be violent (elf, alf, though not all within are violent). yet ms. napolitano is afraid of the extreme right. when pres. washington gave his farewell address at the end of his second term, he lamented that the north-south sectionalism was dividing the country. today i see the same thing between leftwing-rightwing sectionalism. this time we need to stay the coursewith non-violence.
After reading the article on Napolitano, I am no longer afraid, I am terrified. I have been astounded at the arrogance of Obama and his administration, but to target anyone who they think may disagree with the liberal Obama agenda, and use homeland security to do so should terrify everyone. This is not about right wing extremest, its about suppression of our freedom.
Of course they won't be added to the list. They are Lefties, therefore they are OK in BH0's eyes. Their causes are 'noble' (and help him politically) while the conservative or libertarian causes are 'extreme' (and harm him politically).

I visited a small tea party gathering in a small town. It was held along an arterial route that sees a lot of truck traffic. It was great to see all the thumbs-ups and loud horns!!!
And guess what!! There was even a local cop in attendance! I suppose he was there on a special assignment as directed by DHS!!!

I don't want to be taxed to support people who aren't here legally or don't work, both living off welfare and other government programs, or taxed to support failed businesses.
What I do want is for our citizens to contribute more to this country than just a dissenting voice. In Israel and many European countries, ALL citizens are REQUIRED to serve in the military. Too few of you who haven't served really understand the gift your rights and freedoms are, and don't appreciate the sacrifices we who have have made so you can enjoy and exploit that gift.
While I'm a bit extreme, I believe Robert A. Heinlein had it right. You want to vote, serve. You want to be a journalist, serve. You want to be a politician, serve. You want to have children, serve. You want citizenship, serve. I would settle for any form of government, be it the county clerks office, Post Office, or military. Like I said, a bit extreme, but it might give you people a better appreciation for this country and the rights afforded here.

There's no reason to burn flags or effigies, no reason to clash with police, and no reason to destroy public and private property to be heard. hello, i am in las vegas. i attended my tea party from noon until 2:30. no violence, no destruction, i didnt even see an acorn rep. i listened to Wayne Allyn Root, the former libertarian vice presidential nominee, he spoke with enthusiasm that i have not heard in a politician. he stressed the importance of being calm but vigilant in our cause. calm, non violence, safety, and respect are the very reasons i am supporting the 912 project. had the left taken on this position in either 2000 or 2004 i would be a lefty.

I see your point and I agree with parts of it. In particular your point that they are asked to focus on one particular issue and not a wide variety of issues. What I don't like about it though is that the cyber attack part of it is very precise and gives specific groups and examples. The one on right wing extremism tends to have more general statements that cast a very wide net. That makes me more inclined to believe that this is politically motivated and not based on facts. I stand by my assertion that this is an order from a political appointee or someone who has an agenda.
For example, the groups listed on the cyber attack document distinguishes between the cause and the group. Not all animal rights activists are assumed to be members of ALF The other document instead lumps everyone who believes that should be considered a threat. There is a gargantuan difference between a neo-Nazi and someone who supports state's rights.
You do have a point; I forgot the golden rule that anything that comes from Washington has an agenda behind it and the contrasts between the two assessments are quite large in the area of specificity. It looks to be that the April 4th shootings is what drove the April 7th DHS assessment report. The two dates are so close together that it would have taken them about that amount of time to get the assessment together and publish it.

Nowhere there does it mention any branch of the government. It speaks directly about the Constitution, States and the people.
