Just when you thought it could not get any more bizarre, wait until you read what happened to the woman who sold the Bidens their puppy.

Vvajk, I seriously doubt that Ted Kennedy would actually try breeding these dogs himself? He must be using a male dog instead, don't you think! But then again, he is a LIBERAL!
You never know man. He's certainly capable of becoming intoxicated enough for the task at hand. = )
According to an article I recently read, most strays rescued by PETA (People for the Extinction of Tame Animals) were destroyed rather than given a chance to be placed. Our local humane society charges more for their dogs than most breeders. The local H.S. lately seems to prefer not to adopt out dogs, as I know several people including myself who have been denied. My remaining shelter dog is now 14, she was spayed as agreed, I donated food, I have a large fenced yard and pasture, and my dogs receive loving care. Go figure, maybe the VP was denied by the local shelter too.
I was denied a dog from the shelter too because they said they wanted the little dog go to a home without children. My kids played with and fell in love with this dog. We were pretty shocked that they said we couldn't take him home.
This just shows you that any contact with this administration will cost you dearly. Sad for the well meaning people that sold the dog in good faith.
This has got to be a smokescreen story to cover for something else. This administration was gearing to slide in an amnesty vote. Is that it?
What the hell does this have to do with the 912 project? We are getting away from the point of this project.
My comment didn't take. I will try again.
Obama just got a purebred from Ted Kennedy. The article said that Kennedy has several of the dogs, and since he gave Obama a puppy it leads me to think he's in the act of breeding these dogs. Is Kennedy running a puppy mill? In effect Kennedy and Obama have consigned some poor dog in a shelter somewhere to die. Where's the outrage PETA?
Well, aren't the Obamas getting a puppy from Ted Kennedy? A purebred Portuguese Water dog? The article said that Kennedy has several of the dogs. I am lead to believe that Kennedy is most likely breeding them as he was able to give the Obamas a puppy. So PETA!!!!!! Are you going to castigate two of your leftist champions of socialism Obama and Kennedy for not "rescuing" a dog from a shelter? In effect, Obama and Kennedy just consigned some poor homeless dog to it's death. I think that's just unforgivable Mr. President and Senator Kennedy.
The last dog I got from the pound as a kid had to be put down for seriously biting people on the face. I'll decide if I want to get a purebred from a breeder that I can trust thank you…
I think PETA may be upset because they didn't get any money in the bailout like ACORN. Even if dogs could vote I don't think they would of gotten anything, because dogs are a good judge of people and probably would have voted against the liberals. Most of them probably ended up there from lazy liberal families who couldn't even feed themselves and could never understand LOYALTY as well as a dog.
I'm not sure I get your point Gregory. What does logic, humanity and compassion have to do with virtually any cause supported by the far left elite?
PETA Should check into Mexico, I hear they are eatin em like popcorn there! FYI my dogs are shelter animals or strays.
This highlights precisely the problem with the liberal elite/left. They are so militant about their beliefs that there is no room for discussion, variation, or dissension. Rather than highlight a responsible and caring dog owner/breeder, they chose to harass and denigrate her. If you do not comply with their beliefs, if you don't completely and fully embrace them, then they will use harassment and character assassination against you. The goal is to so completely demoralize you that you quit. The only way to defeat these militants is to stand up against them. To stand with dignity, honor, and grace. Then, thoroughly document and highlight their behavior and expose it.
Is Biden on LSD? First this dog thing now he's saying how he took Bush to the woodshead. I think he's shared too many mushrooms with Al Gore.
Another smoke screen….I feel badly for the woman that sold the dog to him, but to concentrate my energy on this topic is useless. Biden's a joke and we can all agree on that. What is really happening that they don't want us talking about? The outrageous budget, more bailouts, more stimulus', keep your eyes/ears open and we will see the real source soon enough. Don't take our eye off the ball.
God, America, Liberty, Freedom, and a civil society…..this is what we are striving for.
God Bless each of you9/12er's and America the Beautiful!
I disagree. This is not a smokescreen. This is yet another example of how those on the elite left are using dirty tactics to advance their agenda by infringing on the rights of the individual and undermining capitalism. As far as I'm concerned….that's the bottom line of this story.
Why was she investigated and by whom? Who prompted the investigation? Can she sue them? Why isn't Biden publicly jumping to her defense and paying for her legal expenses? This is pathetic.
good point. In contemplating your view you make a good point, kinda like when the buses were sent to the AIG peoples homes….research shows it was acorn….yes, I think you are right. I won't hold my breath for Joe to step up and defend her and especially pay for any of her legal expenses.
Thanks for taking the time to respond.
Sami
No good deed goes unpunished.
PETA…the same bunch that has asked "pop" music group The Pet Shop Boys to change their name to…The Rescue Shelter Boys. (I am not making this up.) The Boys said, "um, no thanks".
I have a purebred Labrador Retriever that I purchased from a breeder – I wanted certain characteristics (we're hunters), and the only way to be reasonably certain to get them was to buy from a reputable breeder. I will NOT apologize for buying a dog from a breeder, and – as much as I dislike Joe Biden, I don't think his family should be expected to, either.
I agree. I don't think Biden has any blame here at all. It's his choice as an American citizen and an individual to buy the dog of his choice from the provider of his choice. I would very much like to see him defend this lady and pay for her legal expenses.
I agree. It would be kind of him to support and defend her.
My God, everyone in this country is becoming a targer for vilification by some socialist wingnut!
Groups like PETA, and other enviromentalist/animal right what ever groups have become domestic terrorist. In my opinion the definition of a terrorist is some one who uses fear to keep people from doing something. This lady will never sell to a high profile client and has urged others to do the same. So the terrorists won. Other progressive groups have done the same. They've even infected our schools with their propaganda.
There is a need for people to look out for animals and the enviroment and all those things. I dont want any living creature to suffer needlessly I dont want america to look like a parking lot. I believe these groups were started with good and honest intentions but they've went of the track some how. We need to reign them back in. I dont know maybe we should make them follow some kind of guidline. If only there were 9 values and 12 principles they could follow. Also we need to make it harder for these groups to sue people. I think civil court should have to live up to the same rules as criminal court for starters.
Biden is a moron. If I was the breeder I would of refused to sell to him to begin with. I would flatly refuse to do business with any of them.
While I absolutely agree that Biden is a moron…so much so that saying that is almost an insult to morons, I also have to have the intellectual honesty to recognize that he is an American citizen with the same individual rights as the rest of us. And as such, he has every right to buy a dog from whomever he chooses and, regardless of whatever some group believes, they have no right to interfere in or denigrate that choice.
I'm just saying that "common ground" in this case is "not killing dogs." To be opposed to that would to be pro-killing dog. Your post was ambiguous, and I apologize that I did not read your mind.
I feel sorry for the woman that sold the puppy to VP Biden. Can you believe they have both received death threats by animal activists? While I think it's very nice to visit your local animal shelter or humane society and rescue a dog, surely you shouldn't be punished by purchasing from a breeder. There are a great many reasons why one would purchase from a breeder. One of which is, it can be very difficult to adopt animals nowadays. They have many rules (of course in the best interest of the pet), but how many people have the perfect pet home that is defined by fence height and home inspections at the humane society's whim. Sometimes, I think these rules are so strict that animals are needlessly euthanized because nobody is able to fit the demands. Few things in life are perfect. Locally, there have even been complaints and articles in the newspaper regarding the ridiculousness of our local Humane Society and attempting to adopt a pet from them.
Why might someone choose to buy from a breeder? A good breeder purchased good animals to start with that are proven animals in many ways. They only breed animals that have good temperaments and also successfully can breed out debilitating issues such as hip displaysia. They can through time significantly reduce genetic issues that are prominent in certain breeds. Also, some people may choose to purchase a certain breed simply because they adore that breed. I know in our family, that breed is German Shepherds. Not to say that there aren't wonderful mixed breed and some purebred dogs in shelters that are looking for homes. Our current dog is a husky mix that we 'adopted' from a friend of a friend. We love him very much and he's not a purebred and not purchased from a breeder. There's always many ways to look at anything in life. I think the breeder that sold the puppy to VP Biden should feel honored that he chose her breeding program. Don't the people making death threats to the breeder have anything better to do? How about raise money and donate it to your local spay and neuter task force? C'mon people.
We hear all about the death threats. How come we dont hear about the police investigations into those making the threats? That would make a good story. I bet there are community organizers behind those threats.
Very well said.
I'm with you. All of my dogs have come from breeders and for a time I was a breeder myself. While shelter dogs are often wonderful pets and only there because a selfish person outgrew their need for the animal, they are also often in the shelter because they cannot adapt to living with a family or they have grown old and require too much care. Personally, I have no use for people who put a dog in a shelter because it has grown old and it would "pain" them to see the dog suffer or be put to death. As to PETA, they kill more animals than the ASPCA. They are a farce when it comes to animal care
Hello friends,
Is this a surprise to any of you???? Biden buys a puppy, and the seller of the puppy is accosted by Peta.
Typical leftist/progressive hypocrisy.
PETA destroys most of the domesticated animals it "rescues".
I rescued a brown lab off the street, brought it home, and while I was attempting to find its owner, he jumped my fence and got hit by a car. That brown lab suffered 3 broken bones in its right rear leg. I had the leg amputated and he has been my buddy ever since.
He runs as fast as some four legged dogs and he adores me, whether I deserve that adoration or not. I had the choice….life or death. I chose life for my dog.
He has repaid that choice over and over….every time I come home he smiles at me and does about 6 circles around me and sometimes goes through my legs. We then go for walks, walks that take us to see neighbors we know and strangers we don't know, but we're friendly just the same, and we have gotten to know strangers together, and those strangers have become friends.
I decided to keep this brown lab alive because he always looked at me as if he knew me, and it was weird. He looked at me as if he always was my dog. He always smiled at me even though we had known each other a very few short days. He was happy to see me when I came home from work and he recognized my truck when I would come down the road. He knew it was me even though he had only known me for a few short days. When he jumped my fence, he was looking for me, and he found me…..
I love my big brown three legged Jaker Bear….
PETA really is a group of radical wingnuts and their goal really is to rid the world of pets of any kind.
I'm happy that you and Jake created a happy ending! Dogs do very well on three legs, even though most people don't realize it!
Happy Easter to you and Jake, and I hope you have many more happy years together!
Great story acheyjake.
Thank you JQ_Citizen. I forgot to mention that my buddy can climb fences with only three legs. I watched him do it. That is why he is an indoor dog now. He is too much of a Houdini dog.
Thanks again friend.

I went to a shelter once for a dog. The kind that does not kill animals. After I filled out an application, was lead to the back rooms to pick my dog. I played with her for awhile and then was taken back in an office for an interview. I live way out in the boonies on a small ranch of 15 acres. Was told I had to have a certain type of fence and so many other things to "protect" our dog. They even wanted to send out an inspector. I walked out and said NO Thank You but its way cheaper and less trouble for me to purchase the type I want without all the BS. I bought my wonderful dog from a breeder, had him "altered" and was the best choice I could have made. He's our baby.
Sad but typical of some so called "rescue" groups my friend.
Depending on the breed (usually breeds known for their noses), a breeder might have had the same requirements. Although with a breeder, you can have a negotiation.
People Eating Tasty Animal's! I thought that was funny as hell the first time I heard it, oh well, gotta go check my Tbone,I like it rare so all the blood mixes with the potato's see ya. ( Poor cow)
From what the breeder sounded like in the article, she must be a reputable breeder. As a former breeder, I would find it very encouraging to have someone of Biden's stature want one of my dogs. I wouldn't have sold them one as I wouldn't have trusted them to take care of the dog! I NEVER, NEVER WOULD HAVE SOLD A PUPPY TO SOMEONE LIKE THE ROBOT AND HIS FAMILY! I feel very sorry for the breeder and am surprised the press or anyone else found out who she was!
Ahh, Obiden probably made another gaff. Just told her that to console her anger and regret at selling him one of her puppies.
P.E.TA.? You mean P eople E ating T asty A nimals. I know bad joke. But that's what I think of when I hear PETA, as someone said they worry about animals, but not unborn children. Al Gore & the environmentalist worry about the environment, yet jet around in private jets. Or "We can't drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times… and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK. That's not leadership. That's not going to happen. "…Barack Obama. Yet Oval Office @ 80 degrees, a "beast" that I'm sure gets 20+ miles/gal, Flies a 747 for 150 mile trip, eats $100/ lb beef. These same people.
Actually where we live it stands for People Embarrassing the Tidewater Area.
PETA is a horrible organization.
However, let's not jump on all organizations that help animals as though they were all the same. There are some good ones out there.
Also, I think it's a bad idea to argue that animal safety organizations are awful because they could be out there fighting something else.
If we really want less government in our lives, then we have to support good organizations that champion one specific cause. If we don't want government doing it, then there will absolutely need to be private organizations doing it, and to be efficient they will handle one cause at a time.
I didn't say anything about any of any other organizations, I pointed on PETA and the other the double standards the liberal believes in. Believe me I avoid generalizations and if I wanted to condemn all animal protection groups I will. This is a perfect example of how TASS works, takes one statement all PETA and interpretes that I it meant all animal protection organizations.
I read a report a couple years ago that stated that most people that support PETA are pro abortion. Go figure. They will go ballistic at the death of a homeless dog but will allow the killing of a harmless baby.
Joe Biden apparently feels the same way.
PETA hates people AND animals. Why else would they support what they call "total animal liberation." No pets, no service animals, no livestock. How long do you think chickens would survive if "freed"? Back when those loons invaded the mink farm and released all those mink, most were killed right away by cars and predators. PETA doesn't care!
I have a kitten who was "liberated" from a moving car when she was six weeks old and the daytime temperature was 12 degrees. PETA would prefer that she froze or starved rather than curl up purring on a warm bed after a dinner bought and served by me, her captor and exploiter.
To Burntfrost. "her captor and exploiter" ROFL !
Good play on words, can hardly stop laughing!
I used to breed working dogs for my ranch and sell to local ranchers, and where appropriate to families as pets. My world class dog-training mentor advised on how to price these animals, as when (certain) people pay good money for an animal, (certain) people tend to take better care of it. A sad but true aspect of some people's nature which probably reflects upon shelter animals. I have shelter animals too as pets, and they are loved and cared for for life by me. These nut jobs who claim to be for animals' rights were very willing to maim horses and dogs in England when fighting for the rights of foxes.
Does it surprise anyone that a political lifer elitist would choose a purebred?
I feel really sorry for the lady that sold him the dog. Not all dog breeders are villians…I know of some breeders who love their dogs, take great care, and volunteer and help those that are in shelters. I have had both purebred and shelter dogs and cats. Love them all.
Nothing wrong with choosing a purebred dog. Nothing wrong with selling a purebred dog. Biden can afford it. Good for him.
PETA kills thousands of animals each year themselves ,many more than they even try to place(Look it up). They have MILLIONS upon Millions of dollars to spend on placement efforts, staff and animal care.Unlike many " NO kill " shelters. They would rather spend the money on Naked model advertizing. The ultimate goal of PETA is NO Pets for anyone.Given the chance, they would KILL every dog and cat in this country,so they would no longer "SUFFER" Human ownership. It is not a Help pet foundation, it is ultimatly a NO PETS of any kind group.
Perhaps it's time to put PETA "down". Non -violently of coarse….
PETA…a good idea that has gone too far.
Face it Peta and all of these nut groups think Liberty is only for the People who agree with them. They can justify anything they do. They will not listen to anyone or any opposing point of view because what they believe in is on such shaky ground that if they listen to reason or an opposing point of view everything that they believes falls apart.
Bizarre is not the correct word here Glenn… INSANITY comes to mind though.
Anyone thought of investigating the people at PETA? Makes a bit more sense than investigating a woman who participates in the open market to make a living…
PETA people must have too much time on their hands.
That is so sad. Those poor people! That sort of thing should NEVER happen in America.
What the hell, Did the Literature Teachers Union of America all of a sudden go to the 912 project to give folks ghramer and splelling lessons. It seems that every time you have a liberal on here their only arguement is to critize people for their spelling. This is not a college class, and I am not here to get English comp. lessons. If I wan't literature lessons I can go back to school. And for all of you lib's who see the need to sit here all day and complain about stupid petty crap like I forgot to use a period or I didnt spell something right, Why don't you use your brains to do something, Like open your eyes, To see what is happening to this country, And why don't you try to pretend to love this country for once. Why don't use your God given talent and become a teacher, But please don't brainwash kids with your liberal stupidity. Can I get a spell check?
Dont worry there will be one along any min now! LOL!
Damn, I'm biting so hard on that bait. But congrats on learning CAPSLOCK turns off.
IT'S AMAZING ALL YOU DO IS HIT THE BUTTON THAT SAYS CAPS LOCK OOPS I THINK I DID IT AGAIN
One clue goes unsaid:
Breeder's products are always in demand whereas discarded, uncared for mutts build up until they are put down…
There is an analogy with the human condition here as well…
What is a well bred American worth vs. a stray gang banger who adds nothing to society??
Too many uncared for children suffer a poor life thanks to young woman who spring on bedspring this spring who have offspring next spring while da papa goes missing, all in the name of 'choice'…
Way to kill a society… Even their 50,000,000 abortions hasn't helped!!!
It's like comparing a thoroughbred horse with a donkey which is a QC dilemma that the 'state' just cannot fix with gobs of other people's money…
But it is good for the state 'industry'… Kinda makes the proletariat think that someone cares…
No thanks, I'll take a lower paying job than a pawl's hack and be happy with what I EARN…
When the liars and plaigerizers are all said and done, we end up with the bill…
Let's not run out of producers, God knows we have an ample supply of liars…
Funny, they mentioned PETA. They are always concerned about people getting dogs from shelters and saving animals (which is fine – I love animals as pets and on my table) but I wonder how many of the PETA people are for abortion? I would bet a great many. I'd like to know. Saving animals but killing human babies just wouln't make sense.
Yes! PETA would NEVER suggest a couple adopt a baby (human) – well, maybe if it's a homosexual couple, that's OK.
I remember a radio talk show host in Houston that interviewed a nutjob from Peta. He asked her if there was a human baby and a baby wolf in the middle of the road and she had time to save only one, which one would she save? Without hesitation she said the wolf.
The talk show host screamed at her called her an idiot and hung up on her…Funny thing is he never hung up on anyone before. I didnt blame him…
This Administration is racking up quite a track record of destroying regular citizens who cross paths with them…witness Mrs. Brown, Joe the Plumber, AIG and GM/Chrysler executives. Oh yeah, I forgot their biggest target: non-government entitlement receiving, tax-paying, Constitution-loving Americans.
Death threats?????? This question needs to be asked of PETA – Do you whole heartedly rebuke those in your numbers that have threatened these two people, and will you cooperate wholly with law enforcement on investigating and bringing to justice those who carried out these threats? Isn't threatening the life of a US VP against the law just a little bit?
PETA and anyone that threatened one's life stepped way over the line.
PETA et al need to focus on puppy mills.
I don't get it. What difference is there if a dog is bred at a breeder's or a dog breeds on its own at home? The goal should be, of course, spaying/neutering, but a broader goal should be that animals find homes. Once they have a home, a family is complete. I wonder if PETA is international? If they are, they should come down here and see all of the dog poisonings and killings done several times a year by the government here. It's deliberate and it is horrific. And because they are so macho here, they don't believe in spaying/neutering. Us Americans have made a little leeway on this, though. Lots of us do volunteer work and give free spay/neuter clinics to slow down the reproduction.
PETA is way over the top; they denigrate women with sexual ads feeding each other whipped cream but try to shut down a breeder. What's next? Hysterectomies for people over 30?
I do wonder though if Biden's dog, Champ, is sick of his bloviating.
PETA is ridiculous. They are a domestic terrorist group really. Who cares if they get it from a breeder or a shelter. If you don't buy from a breeder, then they end up in the same place. I feel bad for this lady as well. I'm sure the IRS will be auditing her as well this year. Not like she asked him to pick a puppy from her litter. I don't understand the need to terrorize this lady just for selling the VP a dog. Obviously the breeder lived up to Biden's standards. Leave the lady alone. I'd turn around and sue Biden, but that probably would set off even more bs events. Good luck the the breeders.
The breeder needs to sue PETA to reimburse her the $4000 in legal fees.
Remember, in my part of the world it's People Eating Tasty Animals.
Amen to that, James!
Maybe she can get biden to put in a good word for her and she can get a bailout! Just a thought.
No different than "joe the plumber" Anything to support the radical left wing cause and to harass those who do not have like minded insanity. What about that reporter down in Florida, I think. Or the lady in Texas who was called by the pollsters for Obama and then harassed because she said she did not agree with Obama?
Sue Biden for what in this situation? .
We can either vigorously demonize one side or the other or take the high road here.
If you want to be a pet owner, be responsible and get the pet that you can afford to care for properly. Not every breeder is evil, not every pet owner is responsible. Same goes with becoming a parent and parenting.
If you can adopt from a shelter, great. If you can get a dog from breed rescue, great. If you can volunteer at a shelter or fund spay/neuter clinics, great. Support the best options whenever and wherever possible.
If we take every topic to the bottom of the barrel as a first reaction, we lose credibility as leaders.
When we let articles and comment forums swirl into harsh criticisms, the unintended effect is to tell everyone; if you poke your head up out of the crowd, it's immediately a target for some goof with a keyboard and a different idea of what is right. Seeing death threats pop up because somebody doesn't like where you got your pet is just plain nuts.
Take a look at today's founding fathers quote April 11th, 2009
"Be not intimidated… nor suffer yourselves to be wheedled out of your liberties by any pretense of politeness, delicacy, or decency. These, as they are often used, are but three different names for hypocrisy, chicanery and cowardice." -John Adams
I agree with John Adams, but we all have a responsibility to choose our words wisely, to achieve our objectives effectively without compromising our principles. With any movement as large as the 9-12 project, we risk having a few nuts in the mix as well as a majority of people who are truly dedicated to the cause and willing to serve by leading in some capacity, like organizing a rally.
If we demand the very best from ourselves, then we are demonstrating what good values can do in leadership situations.
The thing that makes PETA slightly more relevant that Joe Biden is, PETA will be still be in the news in 4 years.
Deosn't the pres of PETA want to be skinned and stuffed when she dies, or something stupid like that.

So Joe Biden wanted to stimulate the economy by buying a puppy from a breeder, what is the big deal? Maybe they should go to an Orphanage and adopt a kid. These people put humans second and its sickening.
actually he did kinda stimulate that economy. i volunteer at a local animal shelter and the adoption cost is 70 dollars. and of that cost, 50 goes for credit for a vet, to get the shots and everything. If you go through a breeder, your lokoing at paying a couple of hundred dollars if not more
hehehe! I am going to use that line, it is beautiful: "maybe they should go to an orphanage and adopt a kid"! Well done, Gatekeeper!
I hear you. The problem is one of education about what it really takes to commit to an animal for its entire life. Understanding commitment seems to be a problem in general these days.
Here is a problem that I see every day because I volunteer at an animal shelter. Paris Hilton starts the ball rolling on how cute it is to carry little chihuahua's around. Suddenly everyone wants a chihuahua not thinking a thing about if it is the right breed for them or not. Years later when the puppy cuteness (and Paris' cuteness as well) wears off, the shelters are innudated with stray and abandoned chihuahua's. Oh not to mention how many were stolen and/or puppy-milled to cash in on the craze!!! With the Obama/Biden popularity We shall probably have another round of this stuff and in a few years, I'll be seeing Portuguese Water Dogs flooding my shelter. PUBLIC PERSONNA'S SHOULD LEAVE THIS STUFF OUT OF THE MEDIA, I DON'T CARE HOW CUTE THEY THINK IT IS.
Thanks for letting me gripe. (arrggh)
Can you imagine if people were segregated like dogs. Hmmm blue bread people like Ivy league individuals are America's choice to rule, and Heinz 57 varieties like myself from a local University and a redneck would be gased. The day we let other people think for us and accept that they in the Ivy league is smarter than we are, is the day you are falling into the sheep category.
Thats OK freeman…Us old dogs have some tricks up our sleeves to remove these ticks that are sucking the blood out of us…

Why didn't PETA go after Biden? Oh yeah, he's a Democrat-can do no wrong. It;s not that Joe should have gone to a shelter to get his dog, it's that the breeder should not have existed to tempt poor old Joe into doing wrong.
Biden and the breeder both got threats, according to the story. Theirs appears to be equal-opportunity madness in this particular case.
PETA is another fine example of a "liberal left" entity, created to police our every thought and action towards animals, thus gently, and not so gently in some cases, steering our thought processes towards the path where we are so confused we no longer want to try to think for ourselves. comradeobama, centerleft, Ben Gleck, are classic examples of that infiltration on this site.
This is not to say that PETA and others like them don't do some good because they definitely do. It is necessary for a tiny bit of good to be seen through the liberal left agenda to keep us confused about their necessity. Glenn pointed out that most recent tiny bit of good. Being the gentleman that he is, he didn't bash them while they were helping with his and Marcus' cause. And he won't bash them until they are again exposed on some super liberal left action, if even then.
PETA will fall WHEN the 'liberal left' head has been severed. For the most part, they are aggravating and irritating but don't really cause that much trouble. They are a propaganda tool. The children that love those cute wittle puppies and kitties are listening and their tiny little brains are being targeted, but again, when WE The PEOPLE stand up and take our country back, PETA and those like it will either be reformed or disbanded.
In the meantime, it is our job as parents and grandparents to shield our children from the liberal left. Limit TV time, invest in movies that are appropriate but screen them first, whenever possible, home school, and DEFINITELY get them into church. Pick a church that teaches and preaches the Bible, regardless of what "religion" it is. Stay INVOLVED in the kids lives and be the voice that teaches them. They will be more apt to listen to a voice that teaches with love than a voice that comes from a TV screen. Teach them responsibility at an early age so that the cycle of free loaders is broken.
I'll shut up and step down off the soapbox now!
Yes, and PETA insists we must now call shrimp sea kittens ? well, they taste the same to me. no matter what they call them.
Have owned both shelter and pedigree dogs and cats. My furry friends are well provided for and loved .They have always been spayed or neutered. We contribute to no kill shelters.
This story, just like the one about the Obama's dog this coming week are meant to distract the public's attention away from the disgraceful job that the president and congress are doing.
This is why everyone needs to have their liberal spayed and nuetered
Like most fringe groups, PETA always goes too far in their attempts to get their message across. What could have been a group dedicated to a good cause, preventing animal cruelty, has become a band of zealots who have lost credibility with people who have common sense.
I cringed when Glenn mentioned that we could agree on something with PETA about killing dogs…
Should we try to find common ground with lunatics?
I'm sorry Glenn…I'm out on this one man. Hand me the duct tape you made my head explode with that comment…
So you're all for killing dogs?
I love how you constantly try to bait people on here.
Comrade you are friggin MORON in the highest degree.
Are you for throwing blood on people? The things PETA wants cause even more animals to die. Wake up you idiot.
I am for calling you a name…RETARD. Just like your President…
No one is for killing dogs. That was really a stupid question and I am sure you know it is.
It is all about freedoms, comrade…
shouldn't we have the choice to between a purebred or a shelter dog? I've had both.
comradeobama, do you remember this post?
Comradeobama, Free speech IS absolutely necessary, even for those I disagree with, which is why I gave this comment a "thumbs up". I don't look at your overall rating, I look at the posted comment and judge the comment, not you and not your rating. However, I feel that, more often than not, you purposely antagonize the members of this group. Along with all rights come responsibilities. Freedom of speech carries the responsibility of respect. I respect your right to speak your mind, but not in an inappropriate manner, not in an inappropriate time and not in an inappropriate place. I think many of your posts are inappropriate for this forum, based on your continued antagonistic verbiage. Try to speak your mind while respecting the affect your words are having on the other readers. Respect breeds respect. Right now, you don't have any respect in this forum because you have chosen not to show respect for the rest of us. Consequently, most people don't even bother to read your posts any more. If you want to have someone, at least, consider your point of view, be respectful in what you say and how you say it. Think about what you are going to say before you start running your head (fingers) and be sure you think your responses all the way through. Often your responses are obviously made in anger or frustration and they, therefore, make no sense. You say one thing then immediately contradict yourself. (IE You claimed to be very respectful of the Catholic religion then claimed you don't believe in God. Impossible to have it both ways.) I'm sure you, like the rest of us, are eager to have your voice heard and are passionate about what you believe in. As it should be. But, in case you haven't noticed, the greatest majority of folks posting here are united with an opposing opinion, most of the time. You are not going to, single handedly, change that. Especially when you appear to be totally ignorant of what we are united on because no one will give you the chance. You can type in everything you can think of and it will not matter if no one reads what you write. So, either take the time to educate yourself on what we believe in and post intelligently or don't comment. "Better to stay silent and have people think you are a fool than open your mouth and prove you are a fool." Also, I respect your right to post your beliefs, as passionately as you wish, but not to just stir up trouble. There are forums for you and like minded folks to post. I don't go to your "house" and stir up trouble and I expect the same of you. I have now thrown down the gauntlet. Cease and desist (BE NICE!) or prove you are only here to cause trouble, which will result in no one reading your post(s), thus your voice NOT being heard.
I missed what Glenn said. Anyone who can explain it for those of us who may have missed it?
Dustyluv, I agree with you here. Just because PETA happened to be on the right side of this issue and supported catching and punishing these guys doesn't justify "standing shoulder to shoulder" with them as Glenn said he would. I personally would not have encouraged their cause in this way.
I must say though that I was really impressed to hear how the law enforcement reacted in this case and the laws that the State of Texas has regarding these types of crimes.
Agreed… Just because a bank robber stops at one red light after blowing through all the rest does not make him worth standing shoulder to shoulder with…
That's for sure. It's kind of like a broken clock, it's right twice a day, and wrong the rest of the day! I wouldn't stand shoulder to shoulder with any of the PETA freaks!!
I hate the PETA organization and think they are all whack jobs. However, in that one instance where they offered a reward to help find the person responsible for killing the puppy of one of our nation's heros, then I can stand beside the whackiest of them all in that specific cause.
This is all on the shoulders of Glenn Beck and Fox News!! I haven't figured out why just yet but I'm keeping my eye on the Daily Kos and as soon as I find out I'll let you know!
Update: Glenn's said the word dog over 100 times on the air this week. Therefore it is definitely his fault that these mentally detached nut jobs are threatening the life of an innocent women and the VP of the United States!!!!!!!!!!
BTW – I wonder if they're in jail after threatening peoples lives?
The lunatic fringe that went after this woman is of the opinion that because there are still dogs without homes, no one should intentionally breed their dogs. (If you don't believe me, check out PETA!)
What's next, telling humans they can't have children because there are homeless children?
They're pretty close now. What do you think the abortion issue is all about?

This is just another wing of the democrap party that wants to control whatever you do in your life. They are gonna tell you what kind of dog to get, how much money you'll be allowed to make, where you should live, how you should live, and the list goes on & on & on. I despise these people and I wish they could mind their own damned business. LEAVE US ALONE!!! Funny though when a democrap as high up in the government as Biden is given a perfectly good teachable moment about how this government is way too intrusive in our lives, the focus is placed on the dog breeder. This woman probably voted for Obama and probably still supports this administration, because his approval numbers are still hovering around 60%. He must be doing something right?!?!
To be fair, it's more likely PETA based than Dem based, Most PETA members might be Dems, but believe me, most Dems are not PETA members.
PETA is well-known for vicious harassment of anyone who disagrees with them on their version of how best to protect animals.
There are animal lovers and animal rights minded people in every party however.
I adopted my two fabulous dogs from shelters, however, I would never, ever try to influence public opinion by harassing anyone else about their choice. I respect the work that shelters do and in some ways what animal rights groups do but they hurt their cause when they think that intimidation is just. What is most alarming is that state or local agencies appeared to be involved as well and whenever government uses their "muscle" to do the same, well isn't that illegal?
I can't believe the government is overreaching. I have 2 dogs that where picked up at the shelter. I think they are great, and they think the same of me.
I've read both sides of this story and at least some of the inspections were normal inspections to keep her license valid. I've got no problem with those inspections, as she agreed to them when getting the license.
But it appears other inspections were abuses of power instigated by a fringe group of lunatic animal rights activists. That is ridiculous.
*My dog is from a shelter, but I have no quarrel with good breeding programs at all.
Seems to me that if that puppy had not been sold to Biden, it may have ended up in a pound and destroyed anyways. Some people will never be happy, unless everyone else is unhappy.
So true!
Ya, whats up with that anyway?
That's pretty racist, and anyone who agrees that it is funny is a racist.
Hmmmm… I have seen you make some pretty nasty remarks to people.

Hey Sami. First, I actually meant to agree with you in my first response…Joe Biden is a joke…a HUGE joke. But that's beside the point. He is also an American citizen and individual. I support him more in that role than I do his current political role.
You're right about the buses and AIG. That's another reason why I believe this issue is worth some attention and energy. We have gotten so accustomed to these attacks from the left that we have started ignoring them or dismissing them out of hand rather than recognizing them as one of the incremental paper cuts, of a thousand paper cuts inflicted on us with the sole purpose of causing us to eventually bleed to death. Each of these cuts are designed to be almost unnoticeable and innocuous on their own but by ignoring them and not treating each one as they occur, we don't recognize how dangerous is their accumulation until we are too weak to do anything about it.
I share your doubt that Biden will do anything resembling the right thing.
