Global warming my ass. I live in Alaska, this has been the coldest year in 50 years, the glaciers are growing, the polar bears were 5000 in 1979 and are 20000 now, oh yeah they missed a piece of sea ice the size of calif because of a failed sensor.
Sound slike your normal dumbocrat…just like Clinton and Carter

As to tremendous waste – you have to define what is a tremendous waste and find out why the system deviated from the original design. Unless you are Acquisition Certified – your eyes will roll when you see the requirements that are required at the PEO/PM level. In addition – Congress needs to keep its hands off of the procurement cycle as well as the services need to keep to the original design, make it as robust as possible for upgrades as well as ensuring the COR enforces the contract specifications for delivery, time and money.
Frankenbama should be impeached for violating his oath to protect and defend the Constitution and this great country. Cutting defense makes no sense. But when was the last time there was any common sense coming out of D.C. It really is time to Fire Congress or at least make our Congress subject to mandatory drug testing.
I truly hate to say this, but I believe that the ONLY way that the Obama administration will finally understand the world the way most sane people do is AFTER another terrorist attack on our own soil. It's understandable that he has this fuzzy-huggy view of other nations since he has zero experience doing anything but "outreach".
What is inexcusable is his comment that the U.S. is not a Christian nation. He studied Constitutional law, and yet still can say that? Even a third-grader knows better!

I am an American tax payer, I do not give anyone permission to cut from America's defense budget. I am in full favor of keeping the F-22. I will remain defended by our defense department, or by my own methods. What good are my taxes if they're just being spent on failed bailouts, and useless politicians? I heard the F-22 was also on the chopping block…(which is why i mentioned it) I want to keep all of our defensive power in place while still investing in new technology. I will not stand by and watch our nation's defenses become weakened.
Seems to me that when the news today talked about Russia and China have now penetrated our national grid, defense of this nation needs to be the number one priority again. Instead we have a weak president who sucks up to dictators and either doesn't care or is ignorant of the national threats that are very real today.
Let's see: Cancel the world's most advanced fighter jet, cancel missile defense, release terrorists from what is essentially a resort in Guantanamo, try to negotiate and reason with the wackos in Iran, and run around the world apologizing for how horrible and arrogant this country has been… That is a great way to set America up for an attack. I feel like we are all in some crazy episode of the Twighlight Zone! Aren't these the same people that were complaining that we have lost respect in the world? Now the world is just laughing at us and planning their moves to help us fall. Should I build my bomb shelter now?
Bravo!
I'd build the bomb shelter, but I already have one. I'd stock up on food, guns, and ammo, but I've already done that too.
I'm wating to wake up from the nightmare!
Congress did not REALLY freak on this – it is all a rouse. Same feigned actions as being agast at the AIG bonuses.
We need to call the Pentagon and tell them we are there to support them. How can we help.
And by the way – to REMIND Congress that they are trounceing on the Constitution.
We need to protect the rights of our troops while they are away.
I started using the term fruit cellar instead of bomb shelter months ago. I was getting some pretty crazy looks from people who wanted to know what I was planning for when I had my lot lines surveyed. I think having a "fruit cellar" would be very prudent, in this historic era of hope and chains!
