Suddenly France cares about spending and fiscal responsibility, but holds tight to their socialist desire for control? You cannot have it both ways. I can say that there will be moves toward greater cooperation between each Nation's regulators. My accounting professor has warned us, well before the G20 summit, that there would be a move for U.S. accounting students to be taught International accounting principles, along with U.S. accounting principles. Now, I am certain that before I get my degree I will be learning the "international way"

These people are either completely brilliant, or complete idiots. Over regulation is what caused the mess in teh first place. Everything any government touches it destroys.

You've got to be from the northeast coast. You don't know about common courtesies. You don't know how to disagree with someone without being rude. I tried to find the comment that you were attempting to take such a superior stance on, where someone was to have said that the French discovered democracy. 'Couldn't find it. Could you have possibly made the MISTAKE of misinterpreting what someone said?

  3. ciberhuff says:

Please don't misunderstand me. I will be the last to discourage anyone from making a strong showing in Washington. I don't know how I can possibly make it. I'm still working– but if things continue on the course we are on, and the rate things are happening, maybe that situation will change, too. I would be so proud to support those who will truly try to reinstate our Constitution.

Let the rapper do the G20 thing, he'll just do what the handlers say to do, and HE will look bad, not them…

They really do believe that they can tax and spend themselves into prosperity…

But what happens when they run out of OUR money???

Who will put gas in the young girl's tank and buy her food???

I detest the 'industry' they made from true liberal to hack empire builders who promoted NO DAD, NO FAMILY, NO PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY…
They pay themselves first, then throw a few crumbs to the truly needy…
Somebody pull the chain for a courtesy flush please, it really stinks over there…

What is a rapper without a teleprompter, anyway but an aimless puppet???

    • ciberhuff says:

There's an answer to the good questions you raise, and it's already been agreed to by both the Treasury Secretary and the Fed Chairman: They both said they would like to see a World Currency. Think about what happens to the sovereignty of our country when this happens. The UN, of course, is in place, but I don't see any leadership there, as of yet, other than a bunch of anti-American bobble-heads. But the Institution is there. A powerful leader could step in and fill that slot anytime. There has already been the instance where the UN flag has flown above the US flag. It was in Somalia.

  5. You can notice that the British press is a better watchdog than our own. They
have some bias in BBC, but the Telegraph is great! Thank God for FoxNews.

I did a wikipedia on Hitler. Both Hitler and Obama have a very similar history. Under Chinese Horoscope, both born under the same Earth Ox. Hitler reincarnated?

    • ciberhuff says:

Interesting thought, but there's a fundamental difference between Obama and Hitler. Hitler was a Nationalist Socialist, ie., 'NAZI'. The communists, on the other hand, "Workers of the World Unite" were Internationalists. When they were talking about "Communist Internationale", they were talking seriously, even then, about dissolving nations. I believe there is a closer link between Obama and Stalin in that regard, because Obama depicts himself as a World leader, and everything he has been doing is directed toward that objective.

FRANCE’s President Argues For Fiscal Responsibility — And So Should Americans. A Trillion here, a Trillion there, what's a Trillion more? All being spent by people who can not pay there own taxes and people who want to control ou incomes and wealth opportunities. That should make us all feel good. The economy will not turn around until there is integrity and sanity in the spending and taxing. Fiscal responsibility, America Demands!

  9. I had to study Hitler a lot in Junior high school and high school through history and holocaust classes, speech classes and economics? Yes, economics because he did build bridges and roads and did repair a nation in crisis hence time magazine man of the year. He was brilliant similar to what they say about Obama but turned out evil we are on that road for Obama when paranoia sets in because of a great depression.

  10. If ACORN keeps growing and laws keep changing we will have King Obama they are going over the constitution why not go further and become the Führer und Reichskanzler. Nobody when he speaks chants USA they Chant Obama similar to Hitler very scary. Did you know Hitler had media in his pocket? Both also appeared on time magazine Hitler 1933 but wasn't on the cover he appeared on it in 1938 Obama 2008 very scary and both also targeted the youth.

  11. I'm with you he isn't my president Benjamin "Bibi" Netanyahu is my president I live in Brooklyn, New York and I already like this guys policies.

  12. Gregory says:

I'm sitting here watching these so called riots. The media is absolutely eating it up. Man, if they drink anymore kool aid, they will burst. Firstly, I only saw one window broken. Secondly, if you took all the press out of there, or anyone with a camera, there would only be a couple dozen actual protesters. We are still being led around by our noses.

  13. bemindful says:

You want your country back. Then march with me to the Capital Building on July 4, 2009. We kick them out and revamp. It is are Constitutional right. This country falls it will be are fault. Join me. Lets have a party on are dime.

    • ciberhuff says:

You might be interested in a survey taken by teh Marines on Camp Pendleton, at Oceanside, Ca. several years ago. They were queried as to whether they would fire upon American civilians if ordered to do so. This is very heavy stuff, because marines are trained to obey orders. They are not trained to weigh the order as to whether it is a Lawful order. The tiltle of the book reporting that survey is "Changing Commands".

  14. Mugwump says:

Keep the troll typing… Let him show himself… He is self consuming like most with nothing to add…

  15. What a thought, "Individual Responsibility." But it might be going a little too far to abolish gov't. We do need to get back to the Constitution and recognize State's Rights over central government control.

  16. For America, we need the right message and the right candidates. Elections in 2010 are important!

    • vet4freedom says:

how about governing ourselves and abolishing the government all together! its an idea that scares most people when they realize they would have to take responsibility for themselves, on both the right and the left.

      • Mugwump says:

        "how about governing ourselves"

EXCELLENT thought!! Since I have been zeroing in on the 9 and 12, I see a conscious effort paying dividends already…
To improve one's self, family, work and church and see micro improvements in such a short time is worthy of note and furtherance of effort…
I am paying attention to the Grand God of OUR universe who trumps any humanoid with malice or inexperience on his mind…
Maybe that same God will pull Prez BO aside for a talking to and we can all end up with a win-win…
He doesn't seem to acknowledge a Deity however… WE DO!!!

How could anyone in that job be effective without Supreme guidance???

As of January, my church became my government… Worked for the Pilgrims, Patriots of 1776, WW1, WW2 etc…
Why knock a winner for social tinkeritis know it alls???

i apologize if i am not responding to the stated topic, but,OH MY DEAR LORD! the potus and the flotus took 500 folks to the g-20, including a chef, a b'ball player and a hairdresser, but they couldn't be bothered to bring an ettiquette advisor. for crying out loud, AN I-POD FOR THE QUEEN, where's letecia baldridge? i realize that this is maybe the least important thing that took place but i find it typical of this administration. the potus just can't take anyone's advice but his dear wife's. i seem to remember a president, elected in nov. 1976 who had the same problem. JIMMY CARTER SAID HIS CHIEF ADVISOR WAS HIS WIFE! peace

  17. So let's nominate someone with American Founding Father conservative values!

  18. vet4freedom says:

this is so entertaining. its amazing so many people can gather here and write about how pathetic obama and the left are. dont get me wrong, i completely agree. but to not think you can change the words democrat to republican and obama to bush is mind blowing. there is no difference. business controls the government. i think we can all agree. its the banks and the corporations. its what mussolini defined as fascism. so stop saying we live in a democratic society or that we ever did.
and what are you all going to do to change things. vote? ha!
its that mentality that got us here in the first place. if voting changed anything it would be illegal.

  20. vet4freedom says:

you know it took me about a year to start hating the 9-11 victims' families? Took me about a year. And I had such compassion for them, and I really wanted to help them, and I was behind, you know, "Let's give them money, let's get this started." All of this stuff. And I really didn't — of the 3,000 victims' families, I don't hate all of them. Probably about 10 of them. And when I see a 9-11 victim family on television, or whatever, I'm just like, "Oh shut up!" I'm so sick of them because they're always complaining. And we did our best for them

  21. winecup says:

"France wants a global financial regulator, an idea fiercely opposed by the United States and Britain. Mr Brown has described the notion as ridiculous."

Based upon the longevity of my ancestors I would say I have reached the middle point of my existence on this planet we call earth and I am so glad that I was born an American!
Just imagine for one minute if any of you who do not believe in what is being said in this forum what your life would be like:
If you were not born here in America:
Then you might have access to the internet.
Then you might have the ability to say what ever you like when you like.
Then you might be able to assemble and throw a tea party.
Then you might be able to pursue any career that best suits you.
Then you might be able to do what ever you want so long as you cause no harm to others.
Then you might have the ability to form your own company and become prosperous.
But then again you probably would not be allowed to even read what I am writing here.
Just stop and think for a moment about what you and we stand for. DO NOT GIVE UP OUR FREEDOMS JUST BECAUSE YOU DO NOT WANT TO WORK FOR A LIVING!!!!
I work my butt off just to get by and I am happy with that! I want nothing from you or anyone else! I just want to be left alone and pay my fair share of taxes!

    • winecup says:

Or, if you weren't born here, had the opportunity for cradle-to-grave welfare, but got to America just as fast as you could, cos here you could be whatever you wanted to be. God Bless America and American Patriots. America… keep blessing God… do the right thing no matter what… keep working hard even though you are used and abused, keep giving even though you are taken for granted… get back up one more time than you are knocked down.

Is this like Barney Frank-s argueing FOR family values ?

  32. Rush Limbaugh expects Obama to come out looking good to Socialists. Obama would not have gone there had not results been planned out a month in advance. He can blame America first ("past administrations") just like his new socialist friends around the world, but say "It is a new Obama day", and be the hero to them.

    • Then Obama can come home in victory and pursue nationalizing the oil companies and healthcare. He and Liberal Democrats can rename Hillarycare as the Ted Kennedy Memorial Act of 2010.

      • Whether you are a Democrat, a Republican, an Independent, a Conservative, or true traditional Liberal, the nationalization of the private sector is against what Founding Fathers, the Constitution, and the greatness of America is all about. How can we reclaim the America we know and love?

However, it is my belief that they are much, much too unstable to use as foundation material. I do, however believe that the gravel made from them is much better suited as filter material for septic tanks. This is an area that they have excelled in throughout their miserable lives and, in my humble opinion, believe any other use for the gravel made from them would infringe on their civil rights as AMERICAN pet rocks. As you know, in this country we make every effort to be PC, in ALL situations and, therefore, I feel it is your duty to correct your advertising campaign in order to not hurt the fragile egos of all pet rocks. The Bilderberg Group, Bilderberg conference, or Bilderberg Club is an unofficial annual invitation-only conference of around 130 guests, most of whom are persons of influence in the fields of politics, business and banking. Ever wonder who is pulling the strings behind congress or any politicians? You asked for the information and here it is. I disagree with it I think I am more powerful then any of these guys simply being an American with principles and concerns and my vote counts. I hope our tax money isn't really pushing for special interest, but so far my hopes are frailed by reality. Well here is the report you all asked for: http://www.theidolworld.com/blog/blog

  35. Cliff_brown says:

Sarkozy threatens to walk out of the meetings if he doesn't get an international regulator. Good guidance. We have enough global meddling in local markets already.

The only thing more scary than the president of France talking about globalizing the world's economies is the fact that our own president is not only farther left but has more power to get it done. If Sarkozy walks out look behind the smoke screen for Obama.

  38. I need to correct your history. the French Revolution was in 1789 so only shortly after ours. Unless by British revolution you mean something other than the American Revolution of 1776?

  39. crashnburn says:

Proof of Obama’s CHANGE right here folks…. Now France is telling us we've crossed the line of social and fiscal responsibility….

-Our leaders are turning us into the drunk driver going the wrong way on the highway, flipping off everyone who's trying to warn of the mistakes. Usually ends up in a massive crash.

  40. geezaloo says:

I'm interested in knowing if the members of the "Bilderberg Group" will be at the G20.
Henry Kissinger (a member of the Bilderberg Group) said back in Jan 09 that "Obama is primed to run the NEW WORLD ORDER"….. IMHO that's where we're headed folks…..

  41. Angel68 says:

The French have changed under this new French president. He doesn't want any part of the tax and spend crowd. In fact he has cut taxes. You might pay a little more attention to them and Germany. They might help to keep the UK Prime Minister and our President from getting what they want and that will be a good thing.

  42. The scary part is if this does get past this will lead to a small resistance than a large resistance and before you know they are living in fear. Kings taxed peasants what happened? the sad part is the resistance will be considered terrorists.

  43. I don't believe there will be an agreement Germany has been through this before remember the man with a mustache who spoke highly of government.

    • Nicole01 says:

I know Washington. I just haven't noticed us learning a whole lot from the past. We seem to repeat the same mistakes endlessly and I'm terribly afraid that because of this "world" meltdown, it will be decided that the UN must step in and run everything on a global scale. World regulation of banks, schools, health care, military, etc. I just tend to think that the AIG "crisis," the riots, the thieves in congress … is all some kind of distraction from the true danger, which is the UN stepping in and taking over everyone. The UN is the snake slithering beneath all of the current messes, waiting to "strike" and make its move. Leave it to me to think of the most horrible scenario that could happen, I know. I'm not exactly the voice of cheer. Maybe I am an hysterical woman.

      • RonL11 says:

How ironic that the Serve America Bill passed the Senate yesterday making mandatory Volunteerism.

This is not Volunteerism, it is slavery and Tyranny.

Which means the approval to start the Brown Shirt army. I nor my family kids, grandkids are going to participate in the legaalized slavery. Show me in the Constitution what gives them the power to do that.

No people got to vote on it.

So, remember the AIG Bonus hearings and the Trillion Dollars that was pumped into the economy while we were all watching the Congressional Hearing??? We all agree that Sarkozy is wrong, now what is Obama doing in the shadows while we're all talking about France. Keep your eye on the ball people. The next 24-72 hours will provide a wealth of information, don't let your vision narrow to only one topic. Air Force One is landing as I type, get ready…

  49. When the French and Germans are giving warnings on overspending, the message is clearer than any childish antics at a meeting. We should watch the outcome closely and read multiple accounts of how this is covered.

I'm waiting to what protocol faux pas ends up on Leno and Letterman. It is possible that through humor, we may have more members join the Common Sense brigades.

Kinda like Obama defending the Second Amendment by promoting the reimposition of the "assault" weapons ban.

  55. stevepatti says:

America Is Good- Principle Number One.

The French leaders do not believe we are good. We need engage with the world as it is important for commerce and defense. Engagement does not require sacrificing our values. Our President is more interested in being a Global Citizen than protecting our independence because he does not believe America Is Good. If he believed in what has made America good he would not be driving us toward socialism, perhaps worse.

  56. AngryBadger says:

A global financial regulator?? The world leaders can't even run their own respective governments responsibly and yet they think they can get one guy to run ALL of them? ROFL…..

I, for one, couldn't care less what the French think of anything…..be it the global economy or the price of cheese. All this advice from a country that couldn't fight it's way out of a wet paper sack.

The biggest mistake here is that Europe assumes that we, the American people, want any part of their Global ambitions. Our leaders can yak yak yak all they want about Global this and Global that but in the end it's US the PEOPLE they have to convince because unlike the rest of the world THIS government is BY THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE no matter what congress or the current president thinks. Judging by the protests and riots in the streets of Europe it seems to me their people aren't too gungho for this whole global idea either.

Global Financial Regulator indeed….and how long before they'd need to have a Global Leader once they have all these other global administrators in place I wonder?

  57. BackTo1776 says:

You get the winning answer prize. Keep an eye on this guy Sarkozy. Danger.

  58. BackTo1776 says:

was that a freudian slip? French FIRES? How are you Greg… good to see ya today.

  59. Jerseygal says:

I think Sarkozy wants the global regulator. I do pray that voices like Daniel Hannan and Angela Merkel are loud enough to quell the panic BHO will be spreading over there. Remember all his gloom and doom crap when he wanted his stimulus wish list filled. He got what he wanted then. Watch him pull the same stunt abroad. The CBO says BHO's budget is unsustainable. The Europeans know this. At least a few of them. Merkel may throw him off his destructive game by using some facts and some more common sense.

    • Nicole01 says:

Patriot, I'm actually concerned about that, too. There are so many out there that are so hopeful that O'bama will go to Europe, get slammed and come back with his tail between his legs. I just don't see that happening, although it would be nice. There is some behind the scenes deal already in place. There always is. I mean heck, 90% of our congress are lawyers aren't they? Why do we expect them to morph from sharks to teddy bears, upon taking office? I'm actually looking for more gun control to come out of it, since Kennedy started that particular ball rolling way back in 1961 … disarmament of America. I can't name that policy because I am a political idiot, but I know it's still on the table. Pretty soon I'll be getting a letter from my son, who is in the Navy, telling me that he is now armed with mace instead of a gun. My point is … that all of this political posturing … I don't believe it. I'm looking for O'bama to come out a hero, and new and horrifying global laws to be put in place. I hope I'm wrong.

  64. The possibility of a global anything is troubling in my eyes. If they are global then that means they are above the laws of other countries and only answer to a global organization. Since the only global government organization around is the UN I guess that tells us who his or her boss will be. The idea of a college is also laughable. We already have that, I thought it was the G20, or the IMF, or anyone of the other international outfits out there. The problem with bureaucracies is that they need to expand in order to serve the needs of the expanding bureaucracies.

Follow the money Richard. Follow the money. Who holds all the debt? Who holds all the mortgages, the real property? See "The International" movie. I, too, fear the prospect of global anything. Thomas Jefferson warned against this.

  65. RKeith says:

So let me get this straight,
He's defying the "One World Order" by promoting a "One World Order" initiative, hmm!

  66. emtlw says:

I find it amazing how congress and the senate always have to find the need to make new bills and laws, what ever happened to just going to work and quit worrying about making up new bills to write to satisfy companies who donated to their campagins. Frannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG, ya know the $$$$$$who put em in office! WaKe UP, OBama recieved $650, million Dollars!!!!!! from his campagin, The Measly little $16.00 a paycheck he's going to take it back plus more just on taxes on electricity alone. How many jobs have been created since the great 800 billion dollar stimulus?????? The People living tents, did the Prez get them in houses Yet????? HOw about getting illegal aleins out of the US and put those AMERICAN people in those houses. Better Yet lets give $$$ and home to a GITMO terroist detainee in home first!!!! Where is the logic in that???? Oh I get it, it will be easier to get their votes next time around!!

  67. emtlw says:

    About 100 days ago!!!!!

  68. RoccoC says:

You know we are in a sad state of affairs when the French are giving us advise

  69. The title of this article seems to me to be a little misleading. Where axactly is the "fiscal responsibility". All I read about coming out of France is "global regulations". Would this be in the best interest to the United States? Would it mean to be under the thumb of another overly cumbersome international agency like the UN? I'm not at all in favor of spending trillions of dollars and pounds to get us out of this mess, but is this really a viable alternative?

  70. jbacs says:

Maybe you could move to France?

  71. Mcubed says:

Al Gore invented the global financial regulator…….

    Right after the internet

  72. ArtSutton says:

I for one do not want somebody who is not from the United States telling us how to manage OUR economy. And Comradeobama, go home and study your history. The French Revolution took place in 1789, 13 years after the American Revolution, and two years after our Constitution was ratified. France the birthplace of democracy indeed. Give me a break.

    • Ashrak says:

"I for one do not want somebody who is not from the United States telling us how to manage OUR economy."
It is possible that you have that already…….

  73. Minuteman79 says:

"You evil Anglo-Saxons! And your capitalism, and your bill of rights, and your cheese burgers. This is all your fault!" -the french guy. It does appear at first that this guy makes sence, until you realize that he is talking about more regulation, and on a global scale. Hmmm, when did more regulation from the government ever help capitalism? Wasn't it the government that gave us the housing bouble? But if we had more regulation, especially if we could let someone from france run it, we could definitely save capitalism…that is what we are trying to do right? Save capitalism? Or were we gonna go for socialism instead? Crepe cheese burger anyone?

  74. So, if I understand this right, France wants increased global financial regulation, and will leave the summit if they don't get their way. My only question is how fast can we show this guy the door!

  75. g_raffe says:

Read the article!! He's calling for a global financial regulator. How that translates into financial responsibility I have no idea…….

  76. Mugwump says:

Geez, never since deTocqueville have the Mugwumps had so much respect for the French…

Reading assignment for the big three ( Prez, bell lugosi, and dingy harry ) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_in_America

From back when we was fab, "America, observed the Frenchman, Alex deTouqville, is the most religious nation in the world."

  77. Dustyluv says:

Can we swap leaders? A French guy makes more sense than anyone in our Leadership…How far we have fallen.

And HOW FAST IT HAS HAPPENED!!!

  78. I heard he changed his mind last night when the nightly firework show went off at Euro-Disney in Paris… his army surrendered.
    Sorry, bad joke…

  79. UAV1 says:

I agree with what was said on this page near the top you know it is getting bad when the French are making more sense than the USA right now.

  80. UAV1 says:

Congrats to the Frenchy for expressing the way he felt and demanding change be made!

  81. comradeobama says:

Why is it shocling that the birthplace of democracy favors greater freedom?

France is the home of democracy, crepes and the ménage à trois.

  82. This is sad but at least Europe has seen the light at least I hope… I want America to stand for what it once was Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness everyone else will have that and we have a dictatorship. This guy got money during his campaign where it couldn't be traced. I'm thinking now is this where it came from THE NEW WORLD ORDER!!! have we not learned from wrestling (WCW) in the beginning Hulk Hogan ran the show then all the members turned on him and one another.

    • BackTo1776 says:

Watch this guy Sarkozy. He is very much like other skilled politicians in the way he can make it look he's for something to gain your support, when they intend to do the exact opposite when they get in power.

  83. KingdomNow says:

"Germany and France have led opposition to plans to coordinate public spending, championed by the Administration of President Obama."

Finally, the right leaders in Europe and we are stuck with a clueless, tax and spend dinosaur who belongs in the failed Carter administration. Failed plans, failed ideas, failed change.

    Vive la France!

  84. responsibility coming out of France? i have a hard time believing any kind of responsibility coming out of France.. fiscal or any other kind…

  85. jewkeslaw says:

YOU HAVE TO READ THE ARTICLE. The caption makes it look like Sarkozy is advocating fiscal responsibility but what he is really asking for is a global financial regulator. That sounds like a bad idea. Of course maybe he (the new global financial regulator czar) can take up residence in the new One World Trade Center coming to a city near you.

  86. "Besides, what have we to do with setting the world at defiance? Our plan is commerce, and that, well attended to, will secure us the peace and friendship of all Europe; because it is the interest of all Europe to have America a free port. Her trade will always be a protection.." Thomas Paine

When did our plan not become commerce? We seem to have already set the world at defiance. Our government is destroying our free port! You can't regulate free markets and bailout the businesses that don't succeed. It doesn't work like that. No to global regulation, yes to a free market (port), one which is really free, not propped up by our government. One where when a company fails(shock! they dissolve) it opens a doorway for a new better company to take its place. Thats called self regulation, it works. It may be painful at times. Yet it works.
It seems like lately we have the trade and protection bit mixed up.

No to globalization. I do not want to be a number, you shouldn't want to be another number, and the next person shouldn't want to be yet another number.

The tyranny needs to stop and it needs to stop now!

    • Ashrak says:

When did our plan not become commerce?

When the actions became more about micromanaging the commerce so it could be taxed from every direction and controlled to the liking of those in power.

  87. KDock says:

It's Amazing how History repeats itself.

Remember how the French helped the colonies during the American Revolution. Maybe they are helping us again today………… I never thought I would say that.

    Long Live Liberty

  88. Gregory says:

Zat mean I can start eating French fires and French toast?

  89. Holy crap, it is pretty sad when the president of France is making sense. What the hell happened??? I must be in a twilight zone or something. Can someone pinch me so I can wake up from this nightmare???

    • jwjcc1 says:

This is the first time in my adult life that I have actually be ashamed of my President.

      • pzucco says:

You want to know why Obama is doing all this. Google George Soros and see what he represents for the Democratic party. He is the financer behind this.

      • 42lead says:

Actually I was pretty ashamed of everything Clinton did too. However, Obama has exceeded in a record 3 months into the hall of shame for Presidents of theUnited States! He is above and far beyond any other president!

    • BackTo1776 says:

One of the radical's most deadly moves is to infiltrate and act like you agree with your opponents. promise the very thing that your opponent's constituency wants. Make them believe in you. Once you are in power, spring your real agenda after having engineered some huge crisis that makes it necessary for you to do what you wanted to all along. Don't make too many judgments of any world leaders right now…. they are all behind masks.

    • BStoneman says:

Did you read the article? Sarkozy is calling for a global financial regulator…not individual countries taking responisibility for their own financial mistakes. I think you need to do some reading.

  90. Romanofzki says:

Great, leave. He is the "president" of one country in the European social model. I think he might be one of the minds behind this Global New Deal. I think he was trying to use G-20 as a gateway to get the Global New Deal started.

  91. Shows how little you know; the British revolution occurred more than 100 years before the French revolution. As always, the French are nothing but followers, and late to the party ;-)

  92. For Sale: French Army Rifle – never fired. Only dropped once.

The crepes are nice tho…. :)

  93. nycoach says:

    Comrade,
Have you been to France lately? They may practice freedom in terms of food, and art, but they have been BIG government ALL THE WAY! I don't think it's coincidence that country's like France and Germany have actually moved to the right in the past few years, because socialism doesn't work, ever! When France is going to lecture us about fiscal responsibility, and freedom, it should show you how out of control our new president and congress are. You really need to wake up!

  94. Hey comrade you need to check the definition of democracy that is where the majority rules we are supposed to be a republic where the law reigns….and Obama is heading us in the opposite direction and most of our representatives in Washington are breaking the law by going against our rights in the constitution. Which we could put them on trial for breaking the oath of office….Anyone of them who do this should be held accountable. READ AND GET TO KNOW OUR CONSTITUTION BEFORE IT BECOMES EXTINCT!!!!

  95. Mcubed says:

Are you still here? I guess people aren't tired of this site yet…..

Well, to help you in your quest for misinformation just wouldn't be prudent.

The French did not invent Democracy. Although many French theorist participated in the enlightenment and propagated the idea of a revolution of the people for the people against oppression numerous societies flirted with democracy far before the French started their ump-teen revolutions.

Ever heard of the Roman Senate, the Ancient Greek democracy, Ancient India, The Native Iroquois, the Magna Carta and this thing called parliament in England?

Get your facts straight if you want to be taken seriously, or otherwise you just look like an idiot with nothing better to do. I'm sure you have an agenda, everyone does. I think you should figure out if the agenda you are propagating is yours or one that someone else told you was right.

  96. This all began 1992 when Soros tried to destroy the British Pound by trading excessively on the Forex markets….

  97. BackTo1776 says:

Soros is a master hedger who makes money in downturns. Easy to do when you're part of a group that makes them happen.

  98. Bing says:

Amazing how many people think we are a Democracy. We are a Republic folks. We are governed by the law, or are supposed to be. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United State of America, and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God with liberty and justice for all.

  99. Comrads not too sharp. He may have hit his head or spent more time in the boys room instead of in class.

  100. Ashrak says:

Well what is to be expected when a school handbook, which must be signed, says we live in a Democracy?

  101. ciberhuff says:

Excellent point, Bing. When a lie is repeated often enough, it is believed. It is precisely this wrong-headed belief that produced the throngs of voters for Obama. They were not listening when Obama ran on issues that he is not carrying out. It has taken a long time for history and social studies teachers to pound this into young heads. A generation has now passed, and it is now all but impossible to turn things around, because the teachers no longer know the truth themselves.

  102. BackTo1776 says:

This is the same guy who said "Get rid of congress and put in a dictator that will respect the Constitution". I am still on the floor splitting my sides from that one.

  103. Ashrak says:

I felt shame for Clinton because of what he brought down on his own family, I am ashamed of Obama for what he is bringing down on this nation and all of it's people.

  104. Mcubed says:

"Just say you love crepes Ricky Bobby"

  105. Good thread; thanks ;-)

  106. comradeobama says:

    Someone got the reference.

  107. It is not the profit motive of George Soros that worries, but his anti-American and anti-Capitalism motives. Is he pulling the strings and helping feed the Teleprompter? He funded the lies of Media Matters et.al. He is one that believes the end justifies the means, but what do they want? They have to be defeated at the polls; it is the only way.

  108. ciberhuff says:

You got me on this one, P.L. There's been a lot of blood spilled in merry ol' England, but nothing that I can recall to be a 'British Revolution'. It might help if you would define what qualifies to be a 'revolution'.

  109. ciberhuff says:

Typo: It was intended to read, "they were not listening when Obama ran on issues that he is NOW carrying out."

  110. Google Oliver Cromwell.
