No one in this administration can seem to get on the same page on anything. Fortunately for the American people (those that wish to know the truth behind the rhetoric), no one seems to be passing the memos to Geithner. If it were to be argued that all of the spending being proposed by the White House is being used to sabotage the dollar, it could also be argued that there is a push behind the scenes to have a back up plan. A global currency. No one told Geithner he was supposed to denounce the idea.

Okay, to sound really stupid. But isn't there some kind of legal action that can be taken against the congress for the garbage they are putting out. Especially with the AIG bonus tax? And with other plans they and the administration have planned? I just recently (first term GW, with "share Jesus with a Democrat" in bright orange letters, on my back glass of my 1 ton chevy dually) And I'm not up on a lot of the legalities of what to do. Back in the late 80's and early 90's this used to be a conspiracy theory. The news media made it out to be nuts and quackjobs. Now we have top government officials talking about it all over the world. I guess it's not a theory any longer. Makes you wonder about all those other theories back then. I watched their testimony. Michelle Bachmann from Minnesota question Geithner & Bernanke about China, Russia & Kazakistan calling for a global currency after the G20 meeting. She asked them if they would categorically renouce the U.S. from moving from the dollar to a global currency. Geithner say he would (which of course I believe is a lie) but if you watched Ben Bernanke when he answered the question you can see him squirm. He looked down and made a face as if he didn't want to get caught in a lie. Are we going to a one world currency?

I heard about that on Rush today. I still have some Christmas lights up and even they will be plugged in Saturday night. I've already dug out some of my outdoor spotlights, and every light in the place will be on. Interior and exterior. I was plotting this as soon as he began speaking about it, and cracked up when he said he might light a Christmas tree!

This is nuts! I almost feel we are to late on this. I have 2 followers, and I follow 1. I shared the paranoia at first. I confess I still am a bit paranoid. The non-paranoid side of my brain is trying to convince me that these followers are there because they identify with my thought process. At least that is why I am following someone. I'm not sure it's a distraction. Way back when the campaign was in full throttle Obama visited Atlanta and a gentleman who was very excited to have been in his presence asked my husband if he had heard about Obama's plan to change the currency once he became President. When all the talk of global currency started getting attention, I couldn't help but recall this conversation. Can't document it as it was said to us by someone we happened to meet at our car dealership Service Center! Any way to see if he really said this…wouldn't that be pertinent????

That's a good point on the military and police. I believe our military is fully behind us. I've talked to many of my friends who have no idea what's even going on. I will use this post to put in a plug for the FREE STATE PROJECT. This is an awesome movement which is concentrating liberty-loving people in New Hampshire, the Granite State. You gotta love a State whose motto is "Live Free or Die", allows open-carry, no permit required. The only place you can't carry a firearm there is in banks, and that's it. State Reps. are paid only $100/year, there is no income tax, and the State already has a good track record for low taxes, low crime, excellent living conditions, and is already a very liberty friendly place. A global governance scheme can more easily be enacted once commerce operates on a global currency. It's just the first step. The new currency will require new laws in order to regulate all of the business transactions that take place on a global scale — they'll have to put in place a code by which those who make transactions will be punished or rewarded according to their adherence (or lack of it) to the new laws. This will of course become politicized, with corrupt anti-capitalist ideologies incorporated into the laws. The power to set the "values" and "morals" behind those laws will be left to those who control the money. By extension, all of us as consumers will have to abide by these laws. Hence, global politics means the U.S. will lose its sovereignty as it bows to the whims of those fashioning the scheme, with an elite few in control and the rest of us left to either abide by the regulations or forget about buying anything from anyone. The intention is to make the U.S. less influential, weaker, and beholden to outside forces.

Fox news reported that the U.S. Coast Guard is preparing for a mass exodus of Mexicans in border towns into the United States because of the violence. Fox is saying that this is a, "Worse case scenario." Will our economy sustain the strain of another (estimated) 100,000 refugees? Rep Michelle Bachmann (R) MN has just proposed a bill in congress to ban any foreign currency that might replace the dollar. Good job Rep. Bachmann. It's a shame I am not in her district, but I am in MN.
Just caught a clarification from Dave Ramsey regarding this Global Currency topic and he said that what was proposed was NOT A GLOBAL CURRENCY. Instead, Giethner was open to the idea of creating a NEW MONETARY TRANSFER CURRENCY to be used at the World Bank INSTEAD OF THE US $. This new currency would be used to facilitate loans / transfers between countries rather than the currently used US$. Dave said many conservatives are interpretting the comment incorrectly.
It still seems like it would decrease the percieved value of the dollar though.

It was a slip of the lip. They have not diverted enough attention to other things yet, to try and slip it in a bill somewhere. "Never let a crisis go to waste" is their motto, but I would argue that they generate crisis, to get the feeble minded to give up their freedoms. Take AIG for example. It was generated by the administration as a power grab in disguise as govt assistance. Now we have the feds printing up money faster than the ink can dry. When the dollar tanks, you'll see Obama saying "let me help you", and next thing there is a global currency. Everything he does is calculated. I am reminded of the scene in "Blazing Saddles" where the sheriff says "man I am so good, and these people are so dumb", and that's how I think Obama sees everyone. Does Geithner want a global currency? To answer that just look at what he did before he became treasury secretary. The answer is YES.
They're government issued and free to those who can't afford them out of pocket. Since you pay taxes, you'll actually have to pay the 1000% markup for them though. 1 month of credits should cover it.

Yeah. I have been out with the family and working. I don't know if anyone really understands how all lines can be drawn back to the banking system and the Federal Reserve with regard to this economic collapse and many other "big government" agencies. There is a revolving door between the Federal Reserve (a private entity) and the Treasury (our government agency). Bank executives freely travel to and fro through this door to maintain control of the monetary system and have done this since 1913. People believe there has always been one money because of the tactics the fractional reserve system has imposed on the people. With minimal endeavor people can find information that proves of the immoral activity of the Federal Reserve. It is immoral for us to pay for the failures of private individuals through confiscatory methods of taxation and under threat of imprisonment or fine. Once one discovers the real practices of the Federal Reserve it is not hard to see motive with this system. The IRS is one example of a tool used to terrorize the people over the last 100 years. I wish Glenn would dedicate a show to this system of thievery.
Since I have woke up I no longer use the banking system as before. I do not use credit cards anymore and have settled debt for pennies on the dollar with banks knowing full well the money I borrowed was created by checkbook entry. I only keep money in the bank for paying bills and leave no more than $20 in the bank. I buy silver in coins and small pieces I can barter in the future. My standard of living has savings have increased and I don't keep savings in the bank to be thieved by inflation.
If one understands the mentality of the monetary system one can use the tools to their advantage. I have with excellent results and am free of most of my debt slavery. However I will not be free until my income is no longer taxed for the benefit of the banking system. Do away with free trade for the large corporations and put the tax back where it belongs in the form of Tariffs and away from the people. That is how it was before 1913.

The courts over ruled term limits,,,,so We the people have to amend the Constitution and 3/4 of the States have to pass it…I would love for some smart people to get this done….maybe Mark R. Here is a form letter I have typed up to send to as many reps in the government as I can. I have said it before, and I will say it again now, the more uniformity we have in sending letters to these people, the more chance we have of being heard. We need everyone to come up with letters, we need to link them between one another, and we need to print them and sign them, and send them. We need to show these people we mean business, we are talking, we are standing shoulder to shoulder, and we are paying attention.

Last March 19, 2009 Glenn tried showing how much a trillion dollars would look like using $100 dollar bills. It didn't do much for me as they didn't actually put it in context, for example it would fill the end zone of a football field 6 feet deep. So I came up with my own: suppose each $1 dollar bill represents a star; our science estimates 200 Billion stars in the Milky Way Galaxy; with $1 Trillion Dollars we could construct 5 Milky Way Galaxies. Yikes!!!

The criticisms of the banking system in that video are remarkably similar to Marxs. Don't get me wrong, Marxs solutions were ludicrous, but there was a lot of validity in most of his objections. There is no doubt he had a fantastic understanding as to the nature of economics, particularly with regards to "finance capital", which is essentially what banks deal with.
A major problem with most peoples understanding of economics is that they forget what it is really all about. It's not about finance (although that is important), or shares, or flashing lights on the stock exchange. It's about people, goods, services, and how they all relate within a society. Money is just a representation of a product, or service, and is worthless in and of itself. It exists only to facilitate the exchange of goods.
As such, you cannot just make money from nothing, which is something that a lot of people seem to have forgotten.
But making money from nothing is exactly what is done….
Quick example of how it works….Government passes budget of $500, government has $400. Treasury says don't have enough money…..goes to Federal Reserve and says we need $100. Fed gives treasury $100 loan, which Fed created out of thin air. Gov now has debt of $100 and owes interest on it. gov uses $1 to pay postal worker….postal worker puts $1 in bank….bank now has $1 to loan out….bank loans out $9 b/c it only has to keep 10% of assets in reserve ($9 in loans + $1 in reserve =$10 in assets). The additional $99 the Fed made follows a similar process….there is now more money in money supply….causes inflation….gov likes this because they got to spend as much as they wanted without raising taxes…politicians look good. ….banks like it b/c they get more money to give out more loans which they make interest on ($1 to loan out $9 at 5% interest = $.45 return on $1 per year)…banks are part of Federal Reserve
That is not only a possibility but that is the actual plan….then they bring in the police state and the north american/world currency to "save us". They created the financial crisis so all the really big bankers could use fiat currency to buy up all the real assets. They don't care if the dollar is worthless because they have real tangible assets. After buying the essentials to survive buy as much gold and/or silver as you can.

With China literally being the only country willing to buy our debt calling for a global money, and the EU doing the same, there's no doubt a lot of pressure. Our being in this financial predicament, thanks to Obama's spendy self, plays right into China's hands. That is all they have to do is say…"we won't buy anymore of your debt if you don't go to global currency," and we woulkd be screwed. These cowards in office got us into this mess, and they have no clue what they are doing. Our lives are going to change so drastically due to Obama and his congress, that no one will be able to recognize the USA anymore. We will lose the super power status, we will no longer be a leader in anything, and we will be in danger because of it. We need to work harder, yell louder, march with signs, send millions of letters, get together and show these clowns we mean business and we are shoulder to shoulder against them.

I agree 100%. I know I might sound like a conspiracy theorist, but none of these decisions out of Washington make any sense. I believe that it is all being done on purpose to devalue the dollar to the point where a global currency looks like our only solution. Every one of them need to go. We have to make our voices heard. I will be attending the Tax Day Tea Party in Harrisburg PA, and I urge everyone to do the same in their areas. It's time to start demonstrating and showing them we mean business.
We need to reach out to the police officers and military. Many know what is going on but we need to inform many more. If the military and police do not go along with their plans then the globalists have no chance. If we reach these fine men and women and help them understand the oath they took to protect and defend the Constitution we will defeat the globalists. The fight against tyranny is never ending but we can strike a major blow against them as they try to bring in total control. I heard Geithner's comment about the global currency. I was wondering why he would say that when his boss, B.O., said exactly the opposite on national TV. I tend to think it's the clueless explanation, but it could be an attempt to confuse people as to where they stand on this.
