The SF Examiner says that these Tea Parties should concern President Obama… They are right. Currently over 150 protests in medium to large cities are planned for April 15th – and we are certain that even more will develop in the next few weeks.

Just Looked on Sean Hannity's site – he DOES have a link to find out about locations of Tea Parties (in reference to the earlier comment about why he nor Rush mention them)…AND I did hear him mention them one day this week on his show.
Just joined here last week…blown away by the U.S. map that showed tremendous number locations where tea parties on 15th are being held! Thought I'd go to the one in Arlington, TX, not too far from where I live in Ft. Worth. Lo and behold, a friend called yesterday and said there's one planned now in FT. WORTH!!! COOL!! I agree with earlier comment that they should ALL be peaceful…This is a baby step in the right direction for us to get our country back…but VOTING THEM OUT (YOU KNOW WHO) is the action that will really get their attention!!!

For tll116: You have to start somewhere. The longest journey starts with a single step. In the task of cleaning up Chicago politics, Rosanna is that first step. The only alternative is surrender, and some of us don't intend to do that.
Rosanna's vote in Washington will be one more that Pelosi doesn't have.
I believe a more drastic measure is needed. I know this will be a tough pill to swallow for each individual because they have party allegiances, however I think the only way we will start to take back control of this country is to VOTE OUT EVERY INCUMBENT in the 2010 Elections. Then WE COMPLETE THE TASK BY DOING THE SAME IN 2012. The time of Career Politicians, who are truly the root of our problems, must come to an end. Regardless of their party, they have served us all wrong. I feel there is no better way to send them a strong message who they work for. WE MUST MAKE EVERY CONCERTED EFFORT TO DO THIS NO MATTER WHO THE INCUMBENT IS OR WHICH PARTY THEY COME FROM.

All it takes is one voice. One voice will affect another, and another, and so on and so on. Obama has the mainstream news media in his pocket, so they will only reflect on the positive things they think he says. Every time I see him on TV (which is every day, it seems), I want to throw up. He and his liberal colleagues are turning our wonderful country into a Socialist country.
Start organizing your tea party today in your town. It only takes on voice and the internet. As someone said earlier, if ACORN can get Mickey Mouse registered to vote, then surely we should be able to organize a movement to let the clowns in Washington know that the circus is about to leave town! I will help you. You are welcome to participate in our Tea Party, even if it's from long distance. Even if you can't find someone near you…send in the tabs from tea bags to all of Congress, the Senate, the President….if they get all these tabs in the mail, maybe they will get the message.

Here, here! I am trying to organize a Tea Party for April 15 for the North Alabama area. If you haven't seen the video that Glenn had on last Friday with Bob Basso as Thomas Paine, please watch it on Youtube. There are actually two of them, and they really make you think. I sent my tea bag tabs to all the Senators and Congressmen from Alabama, as well as Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank (just because), and President Obama. They MUST get the message that they work for us. Spending $3.1 trillion dollars is totally UNACCEPTABLE. I'm with you, Tech_Mom 40. I'm working in my state…continue to work in yours!

Looks to me like these people come in here and spout off on a few threads and then thay are gone. This is why I say dont even reply to any of them. Thay love it when they can get 25 people to spout off back to them, this is what them want. Dont give this to them. Please anytime you see this remind the 912's to not reply. This is still a free country and they can come on and say what they want, but as long as we are free we dont need to answer them.

Rush, Sean and Levin seem to have their own little click. The three of them are always plugging each other. Rush plugged Levin's book today. I think O'Reilly is a good guy for having Glenn on his show every Friday. I do wish Sean Hannity would make Beck look welcome to Fox. Beck is just different from Rush, Sean and Levin. I have been watching Glenn since he was on CNN. Beck thinks outside the box. I was at the Orlando tea party and I was holding an Anti Obama sign. I expressed my free speech. I do feel like BO is on hyper speed to take over complete power of America.
Amen, brother. The same out west. All of the stores, including Walmart, are out of ammo. I got a funny text message that showed a picture of Obama and underneath it says, "Gun Salesman Of The Year." I got a good laugh out of that one…. so funny it's sobering!

I am working on a website that will be instructional for people who are needing a little help managing the forum. I'm hoping to have it up in about a week but I'm not sure I can get it completed in that amount of time. What do you think people need to know the most?
The thing that helps me the most is sorting the comments by "date". The site defaults to "last activity" and can be confusing to some participants. When the threads get as large as this, almost nothing helps but lots of reading, posting, reading posting.
Sorting by "rating" shows you the comments with the most thumbs up. That's fun to do when you're late, like I am on this topic.

We need to stand up and show our anger and not just talk about it. It's a great way to get together with others that are tired of all the crap piling up on Capital Hill.
A few in Washington are starting to notice the ripples of discontent in the country, now is the time to let them really see it. Let those that are up for re-election really fear for their jobs. Go, have fun get creative, wear a revolutionary war costume or a pig suit. Just go!

What I want to know is why do our friends like Rush and Sean not mention The 912 Project? Rush said today, "no one is doing anything" in reference to people's outrage. Sean wanted to talk to the group responsible for organizing the Tea Parties, yet no word on 912 from him either (I seem to remember Glenn sparking this action, but I could be a homer). Glenn talks about them all the time. Do they think he's crazy?
Im so HAPPY that I have a place to share my Ideas and what I believe. I was watching Glenn in the early days and been faithful ever since. Its hard to find people here in Salem Oregon that believe these same principles and values its like they are all in hiding. I seem to be out of the loop here. I wish we could order some sort of t-shirts or bumper stickers or something to place on our cars so we can show strength in numbers and signal others to rally.
There was a lack of media coverage there. One station spoke of "a couple hundred people" in attendance (though the camera shot showed significantly more). Even then, there was only fifteen to thirty seconds of airtime, compared to the 2-3 minutes dedicated to covering an art show nearby.

I would like to participate in any event that would be broadcast by the so-called media and of course Glenn Beck. Such as a Tea Party in upstate NY. Every State Capital should be the site for many Tea Parties. Or perhaps a demonstration where everyone shows up at their state capital with a bag of monopoly/any and all board game play money and we can set up barrels to be filled with a sign that says something like "America's new currency". That was just an idea.
Also I want to thank Mr. Glenn Beck for the 912 Project and I thought the Jenga game was great.

Even if we get rid of all in office in 2010 it is our responsibility to elect people who will work for us. I do not want to see people who have lived off of our tax dollars, making decisions bases on contributions, in office anymore. What we are asking for is a revolution! In order for change, there is no other way. Our elected official need to fear the citizens they represent. Our elected officials in office now have no fear of the people. It is our duty to change the direction of this country. If you do nothing, nothing will change!

A march on Washington on July 4th will be great. In the meantime, hometown marches on April 15 all across the country will force the local media to take notice. Also, local marches will get the attention of local people that don't usually pay attention to politics until election day"the uninformed voters".!!!
I also think that talking to local business owners about sponsoring the event by purchasing cases of 'pocket constitutions' to be handed out would be a good idea. Too many people have never read the Constitution and so don't even understand what we are protesting about.
I have been reading a lot of peoples comments since this site was launched and I see that many people still have a lot of faith in our elections. My opinion is that our elections are not what many of you believe. Let me explain…
For a very long time now I have been very frustrated with how power is moved around in this country. I have always seen Democrats or Republicans in power. There is hardly anyone that is in power that is not from one of these two parties. In fact these two parties make sure that it is that way. If they lose they just need to make sure that they lose to the other party and not an outsider. These two parties select the people we can vote for. They hand pick losers and winners for our choice to lead us. Every single person that is elected is in debt to the collective parties for their position so they all end up with seemingly the exact same views. None of them are different, they all pay that debt back by voting and acting in accordance to the unwritten law of the land, they owe the party.
If you begin to see our elections for what they are I think you begin to see how dire our situation is. Come election time for president or congress there will be no democrats running against democrats and no republicans running against republicans, there will be parties running to either stay in office or take office. The faces are irrelevant. In fact if there were a better democrat candidate for president than Obama next election they would not run him because our country comes second to the parties power.
In America we used to have free elections, but not in my life-time, now we simply have the show. Please I beg all of you do not have faith that next election cycle will solve all our problems it did not last time or the time before that. We cannot wait that long, we cannot wait one more day. We cannot take our country back by electing who they tell us is electable. We must move beyond elections as our solution. We must not work within their system that they have warped our country into. This is going to take far more than elections to fix, now let us figure out what to do to fix this mess. We cannot simply keep asking King George to stop hurting us, the kings don't care.
Please, come up with a way our Jewish countrymen can join us. Perhaps a single website where people can post YouTube videos from their home protesting "like" those in D.C. on the 4th of July, or a phonebank protest hotline…something!
For all of the other Domestic Terrorist, I wanted to pass on a heads up. I am a 100% VA Service Connected Disabled Vet. From my complaints, I received today a letter to appear at my local VA to have a Compensation and Pension Review. Have not heard from the VA C&P people in more than 5 years. And now they want to see me. My condition has not improved, will not improve and even if I stood on my freaking head it would not improve. As my age goes up my condition worsens. I enjoy the quality of life I have and for all of that I am grateful. So its off to the VA HI HO HI HO to I guess see if I still have arms and legs. I find it interesting that as soon as I complain to the Gooberment about poor spending habits, they contact me….. They lost out on the charging of the Iraq vets and making them pay their for their war injuries with their insurance, so its off to eliminate the 100% guys. Well boys if you just wait a while I will be dead thanks to my summer vacation in Vietnam.

Cliff…it is WONDERFUL to know so many of us are in agreement, and now have a place to "gather". However, earlier this week Newt was on O'Reilly. The following is a paraphrased summary: O'Reilly expressed his excitement that the American people are now watching DC, they are focused, and they are ANGRY. Newt said he believed that if you asked Pelosi and Obama and Reid in private if they were worried about that, that they would indicate they really didn't care. Newt believes they feel that they are "winning", and that they are happy because now they can just ram stuff through Congress as fast as possible. 2010 cannot come soon enough for me!

I have been reading a book "How Football Explains America", and I think that it sums our country up pretty well. We don't follow–we lead, we don't do the easy thing–we do the right thing, when we are told we cann't–we do! Our country has always been a country of hardy people who think and do for themselves. We are not "sissies" and we don't turn the other way when things get tough. America was founded on the laws of God, you may not agree, and God has told us how to live and has shown us that when we live the way he wants we prosper. Just as God has shown us how to live, our forefathers have too….The Constitution of OUR UNITED STATES. I guess just as some people feel that you shouldn't use the word God, you cann't use the word Constitution—that is offensive! Our time has come for our generation to stand up for what is right and defeat our enemy– a government that wants to take over every aspect of our lives.

I am writing my thoughts down regularly now with what is happening in the WH, our congress and my feelings. I think this is history in the making, and it won't be good. History like Hitler, I believe. Our daughter told us that she explained to our 8 year old grandson yesterday, about Obama. She told him that if he were to make $10., that Obama would take $5 of it. My grandson asked, why? Our daugher said, she didn't know, just greedy I guess. I thought that was funny…..pretty astute and our grandson LOVES money…..another person to not support the annointed one. I agree that we need to do something on a GRAND scale like a million person march on Washington. I believe there is one being organized July 4…..I think the website is marchforliberty….not sure…..I will be watching it and possibly fly out there just for that.

The total attendance at this most worthy event was over 6,000. Not bad for a non-advertised happening. Just wait until the tea party on April 15th. Comrade Obama should start being afraid of the groundswell — very afraid. It could mean the end of his dictatorship…er….administration.
