Great Site!!!!!!!!! Glenn you are a wonderful person!!!!! I haven't met you yet in my life. But I listen to your radio program and I watched your program called we surround them on my computer on March 13, 2009. I agree with the principles and the values. I try to be a better person each and every day. The 9 principles and the 12 values are great things to live by plus I am a latter day Saint . And those principles and values go along with what I believe. Although I struggle sometimes in my life and make mistake, we all do but we have to pick ourselves up again and try to do better each and every day. Thanks Glenn for being so awesome and thanks for your example of courage and being the type of person that you are. I hope that I will have a chance to meet you and your family one day. God bless you my friend. Keep up the great work that you are doing.

Thanks for lighting this spark and getting this site started. As an Insider I was listening the day you got the phone call that started this idea, and it's catching fire all over the country. I've spread the word as much as I can to my circle, and have put a sticker in my car window http://www.9/12.com , am sure it's making people curious.
St Louis is having a Tea Party at 6:30pm on April 15, which is great as I can go after work! They're expecting at least 5,000 people, and it's getting a lot of attention here with our flagship 97.1fm.
A Patriot and Proud of it – we will surround them, and we will get our country back!!!

I totally agree with TeaPartyJan. 2 of our three checks and balances are totally compromised. Therefore, it is time for the Supreme Court to get involved. However, that takes a person filing a law suit, and (God knows) it is a slow and expensive process.
I don't know if it matters to the US postal people, but I've been told that it's 1600 pennsylvania ave. NW, would hate to see you get your mail back because they can't find the big whit building. Also–I sent two today, teabag labels only, so as not to keep them from making it through security. Also wrote on that back that that is what they are. Refrained from writing "that guy at", but simply his name, NO "president" in front of BO's name. We're probably on some list now.
George Washington set a great example of showing true genuine and love towards his country. If it weren't for him we wouldn't be a country. Washington could of been king, but he didn't accept, he wasn't in it for style, unlike many politicians today.. Boy i wonder what George would say now.. betcha he's rolling in his grave right about now..
Glenn, welcome back to the larger radio station in Central Ohio. We missed you there. You are fighting to keep our country great and we all appriciate it, no we love you for it.
I just finished sending off emails for the umteenth time to both Ohio Senators and my 7th district rep. practically begging them to do what they can to stop the added spending in the presidents budget. Like they relly care what I think. They just don't listen, maybe I should pay for a junket or something. This spending will bring us to our knees.
I have made tea bag stationery from a scan and will send letters soon.
I than God every day for what I have to give,Im blessed to live in the state of Tn. We still have our Freedoms!!! it is amazing how many people in this state are truly fed up with what is going on,the path this Great Nation is traveling down,must be reversed. We believe in the 2nd amendent,the Bible and Family,THEY will not take that from us,so help me God!!!!

Yes Bobbie: I am getting my tea bags ready. I have emailed all my friends and encouraged them to do it also. But empty the tea out and it will go just for 42c. I am going to send them to Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Schummer, Rangle, and Obama. Lets fill the White House with tea bags. I am really angry the way they are wasting, and spending money and running up huge deficits. They want to make new laws and push thru everyting without even discussing it.

Of the many reasons why , we the people, are raising our voices in protest to the Constitutional Abuses of our elected Representatives, Senators and President is the fiscal irresponsibility that threatens to forever dismantle the pursuit of our children's happiness and their freedom from taxation and indebtedness before their birth.
Article I, Section 7 of our Constitution states:
Section 7. All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.
Our most immediate opportunity to change out the members of the House of Representatives is with the election in 2010. We must demand the return to fiscal responsibility and accept nothing less.
It is our Patriotic duty to endeavor to become involved with the political parties or independent citizens in our respective districts and to nominate, place on the ballot and to elect those individuals who will return to the principles and values of our founding fathers. By involving ourselves at this time, we can evaluate the available candidates and test their commitment to our Constitution before their election.
We must in the interim, engage the assistance of our friends and neighbors to build a base of support, protest and action that will accomplish the restoration of trust in our system of government.
Glenn, thank you for helping like minded citizens have a means of coming together and encouraging one another in the quest to save our country from those who modify it in ways that diminish our freedoms.
Also want to remind people that Glenn asked us to NOT use this site to argue religion or Right winfg or Left ( its kind of hard I know ..seems its all entangled together) ..he asked for suggestions and ways to take back our country ..also for us to please be nice to each other and to unite for our country ….I just want to thank Glenn for setting this up!
Hi, I just joined so haven't had time to read or look around yet, but I saw a comment in my local paper the other day regarding taxes, this person suggested having NO taxes on ANYTHING for 6 months! The person said " then everyone will have some extra money to spend, except for OBama!" LOL Sounds good to me!
I believe, by reading between the lines and listening to what obama has said, that his definition of CHANGE is to destroy America. I believe that is the direction he was given when he was brought up through the ranks by Bill
Ayers and sub-standard individuals like him. I have not seen anything thus far that changes my opinion of the word CHANGE. Just because he uses and has used the word CHANGE doesn't project a good image. Pretty scarey.
I think that there are a good many of us who will agree with you ….question is …what can we do about it ?
It seems to me that many of the things that Obama does (such as firing the CEO of GM yesterday) are unconstitutional and that there should be lawsuits filed that could be sorted out by our Supreme Court, which should protect us from Obama's "changes". Where are the lawsuits?

Love your program. Myself and my 2 children living the "American Dream". Was taught as a child to work hard and that no one owed me nothing. I'm proud to say my children, now college graduates, feel the same way. Saddly , I feel we've let our guard down and strayed from the foundations that made our country great and us to prosper. Keep it up all, I believe our momentum is growing. Following is my short wish list: Term limits of 1 year for the house and senate, No retirement pension for these folks (when they retire let them collect social security like the average American does) this may be a way to fix social security. Let the senators and congressmen pay for their own health insurance, as most of us do.
Lets have more opportunities for our citizan students to afford a college education. and the big one is DO AWAY WITH ALL BAILOUTS OR GIVE US ALL ONE!
I want to thank you for what you are doing and I know if we will stick with this we can get our country back on the right track. Our Constitution has been walked on and has been abused enough. We need integrity brought back and words like illegal, and honesty, have the same definition that we learned to live by. Our creator must be pretty digusted with all of us for letting it get so bad before we have someone like you to get us up and involved. We are committed now and lets go. I am attending a tea party at city hall on the 15 th of April. I hope everyone will support Sarah Palin on her fight and the fact that some are trying so hard to trash her. She owes approx $500,000.00 legall fees just to prove that shes done nothing wrong. I believe with all my heart that she is an honest person that is trying to make a difference.

My wishlist:
1. A return to the US Constitution. Wikipedia actually says it well: The Constitution of the United States of America is the supreme law of the United States. It is the foundation and source of the legal authority underlying the existence of the United States of America; the Federal Government of the United States.and all the State & local governments and Territorial Administrative bodies contained therein. It provides the framework for the organization of the United States Government. state.[1]
2. Implement Flat Tax
3. Term limits for all members of congress
4. School choice for families based not on geography but where the family/parents want to send their children. Take oversight of schools away from government and unions and turn them into private, competitive businesses.
5. Enforce current laws regarding immigration
6. Protect borders by enforcing current laws
7. Strong national defense
8. Eliminate Capital Gains tax
9. Tax money will not be spent on any issue that involves the taking of life or tampering with life. (Abortion, embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, eugenics, etc.)
10. Overhaul of Social Security System
I really like your wishlist. I would also like to consider a National Sales Tax in lieu of the current unfair income tax. I am afraid with a flat tax, 40 to 50% of the populace would be exempted from paying which is deplorable and encourages nonpayers to vote for the candidate who promises all things to everyone. Also would like to consider repealing pensions from Congress because it would probably result in self-imposed term limits.

Get rid of "Tax dodging" Geithner, "spendthrifts" Pelosi, & Reid, and the rest of the far left who just want to spend all they can as fast as they can!
I believe that if one is seeking "change"….then it starts with self reliance….we the people make the change Individually and as a collective whole…..the government should not be soley relied upon to "make life better" or blame when "life fails"…i say….less government intervention,and more productivity amongst ourselves…welfare needs to be reformed and should be discouraged….2 years total…that includes every entity within the welfare system…it will give incentive to think and do…..reward success….and discourage failure and poor choice…..it seems crazy i know…and way to simple….but if you can not trust the governmet to "do the right thing"…..and you as an individual do not do the right things….THEN WHERE DO YOU EXPECT CHANGE TO START….

President Obama articulated on many occassions during the presidential election that he would lead a transparent government. Can we help President Obama meet this commitment by creating a 912 Project section titled "Hogs at the Trough"? Basically, this would be a single list of our elected and appointed officials that have been compensated (consulting fees, speech fees, BOD fees, real estate, lobbyist fees, etc.) by businesses (US and foreign), foreign governments, individuals, organizations, associations, etc. etc. The purpose of this list is to see who is in whose back pocket.
Hogs = elected and appointed political officials – Democrats, Republicans, etc
Trough = name of businesses, lobbyists, foreign government, etc. that paid, donated, or gave $$ or valuable services to the "Hog" , date of transaction, and what the "Hog" did or will do for the $$
This would be a consolidation of many reports and sources. This would show who is in whose pocket(s).

I am curious as to wheather anyone has heard about the prison camps that have been built throughtout the United States? How about the proposed bills; in particular, "No Organic Gardening." Some government officials have lost site of what's important, their minds or both…
I just joined this morning and I'm thrilled to be with people that can see the BIG PICTURE! Our Government is going out of there way to ruin our country and its has to stop. It's funny you should mention "Stooge",because Sean Penn is slated to play one of "The Three Stooges" in an upcoming movie,and the people in charge right now are his friends. So maybe it was a subliminal choice he made to do the movie?
In my opinion, one of our biggest problems is that too many people are uninformed or misinformed about what has been done in Washington. I think we need a group of people with the time, talent, and expertise to investigate and gather the facts regarding, not only the current financial meltdown, but also Washington's overall climate of corruption and elite-ism. Than the information should be transformed into a Made-for-TV movie or mini-series. It should have a title like: "The Financial Crisis, How it Happened and Who Is Responsible ". It must be completely fair and factual while exposing irresponsible Republicans as well as Democrats. It would need to be completed before the 2010 elections so we can throw the bums out and elect people who will actually represent us!

We support you in your 9-12 project and hope that, as HDJerry suggested, you will organize a march on congress. I am certain that it will require a protest of this magnitude to have any effect on B. Hussein Obama and his accomplices in the US Congress. Unfortunately, this needs to be done soon or it will be too late. God speed and God help America!

Thank you for the opportunity to be heard, or at least get my thoughts out there.
I, like many of you, am scared for this country and my children and grandchildren. This disgusts me everytime I see the news.
Anyway, this is what I want:
1) I want the 17th amendment repealed. I want Kentucky to regain control of our Senate representation. This will also reduce the amount of money spent every 6 years.
2) I want full disclosure. Which politicians took campaign money from the companies receiving bailouts and how much. Then I want the money returned to the treasury.
3) I want the government to live by the constitution. Those who violate the constitution should be tried for treason, maybe not hung, but their possessions and freedom should be confiscated.
4) I want the border closed. I had an idea today that I thought of as a friend was telling me of their vacation in Cancun and how safe it was. Let's build resorts all along the Mexico side of the border. Then the Mexican officials (official criminals) will have to keep the border safe to keep the tourist dollars coming.

Amazing! What were the Hawaiians thinking by allowing births outside the USA to be registered in Hawaii?? The petition is a great idea, but now that he is president, is it possible to request his complete birth certificate be released under the Freedom of Information Act????
Term limits-1 term for each Senator and 2 terms per congress, I also think that if each conservative orgainization that is in exsistance right now, that is in complete accord with the 912 project's core values should linkup and unite as one force-this would create such a large group that we could give a new definition to shock and awal. And would certainly send the message that we do indeed surround them.
We need to be organized to make the greatest impact and be heard. No, I do not how we accomplish a national organization. However, the dems and Obama have. Today I saw a flyer outside a store in Jacksonville inviting Obama supporters to a rally at a local library, from which they would be disbursed to canvas the area to drum up support for Obama's budget. Check out this national website: http://www.barackobama.com/index.php This web site is the tool used by Obama supporters to get grass roots support for his budget, programs, etc. Very political looking, because it is paid for by the Democratic National Committee. (It scares me!) And, put in your zip code and find out what they are doing in your neighborhood, how many phone calls they are making for Obama, doorknocks they are doing, money they are raising. They even offer 2 day seminars on how to help Obama achieve his and their goals. How do we compete with this? The 912 Project is a great start, but were to we go from here? Any ideas?
