It is an interesting fact that very few countries allow children who are borne of parents who are not legal citizens of their country allow that child to automatically become a citizen. I live in California and our state suffers from illegals taking from our system. It would be very simple to change the laws to say that if your parents are not legal citizens then you do not become a citizen either. What other nation would put up with protesters flying another countries flag as their Mother County?

She's full of you know what. What better way to tear down our Country than to ignore our laws. As far as a trauma to the illegal alien children the parents are responsible for putting their children in that position in the first place. What was their excuse for not coming across our borders LEGALLY? Oh and by the way I've discovered that our Homeland Security is only structured to handle immigrants, passports, etc. and disasters. In my state I was told by their office that they are only there for the above reason and in case we have a disaster. I also got the same answer from the federal level. I was told to contact the FBI if I had a concern about terrorists in our country. HS doesn't handle that. No protection there HUH!
I believe O is a man of deception. The smooth talk during his campaign really got to me. I could see it coming down the road. He could have better spent his time reading all the pork barrell project he approved of in the give aways rather than spending it with Leno. This is a hostile takeover of my country. I'm doing my part: putting up copies of Glen B's revelations on bulletin boards and giving copies to friends and whomever, sending by e-mail and calling our Senators and Reps. all the time. Replying to SassyDarling, I gotta say that I would prefer Obama and Geithener to be on these late night talk shows. Then they won't screw up our economy and country with all these stupid (I was gonna use a much more vulgar word there), bills, plans, and all that other crap like monetizing the debt (it was on Glenn Beck show today, they decided to borrow money from themselves and give themselves an IOU). It would be better to do nothing and get into a recession than to destroy the value of the dollar.
That is true President Pelosi and the four stooges, Reed, Dodd, Biden, and Obama answer to her. But don't worry, Obama just sold us all down the tube with his video message to Iran. We are now looked at not as a forced to be reckoned with but a wimpy country of cowards that need to be wiped off the face of the earth. It is time to fire Congress and get rid of the corrupt vultures. If Americans vote all of congress and all of the senate out of office in their next election cycle: All AIG Execs give back tax payer bonuses totaling 165Million. If even ONE of the current members stay in office- they keep the bonuses. If Americans want to start fresh put your mouth where the money is!! Heaven help us…maybe you are right. I think it is Rom Emanuel and Obama is a puppet. It is interesting that Nancy made the comment in SF on immigration raids and 2 days later Obama stopped the raids.
This appearance was all just part of the smoke screen covering the real issue. Our President has not lost touch with the American people, he never had it. I just do not understand how anyone who has lost their job, or home can think he truly cares. Joking around about the economy, and laughing about how much "fun" he is having in the White House is just plain wrong.
It really scares me how much he is intent on selling the evilness of business people. AIG and others are the Problem children of the business community, not the norm. As a business student who will be part of the future business community, I am truly afraid nothing will be left, and if this does not stop actual schools of business will be targeted. I know this sounds crazy, but it is crazy for business people and their families to be threatened as violently as they have.
The more the President focuses on making CEO's look bad and giving Congress a pass, I think the more infuriated this country is going to get.
These bonuses are nothing but shiny balls meant to distract. Many large companies have bonus plans in their employee’s contracts, contracts that, in accordance to the constitution, must be respected and upheld. There’s no way that the government officials with their hands down AIG’s pockets didn’t know about them before the bail out. It’s not uncommon in the first place, the outrage is only because we paid for it, without we, the people, approving in the first place. We should move past the bonuses and question not where those millions went, but the rest of the billions. No one seems to care what happened to the rest of the money. Maybe Obama should make an appearance on Glenn’s show…or is he not funny enough?
Down South it looks that way too.. The Presidency is proving to be above his pay grade as well it seems. Without his trusty telepromter, his snarky sense of humor plays more like school yard bully variety of poking fun. Now I might not have as much of a problem with it, if not for two things…
First and foremost, he is the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES…whether he likes it or not, he now has to act with decorum and not be everyone's buddy. He needs to treat the office with respect and represent our country well, then he will earn said respect back. He also has to spend more time working on what HE called a crisis and catastrophe..spend some time in his office doing the people's business…not the business of self-promotion.
Secondly, I was raised, if you're going to dish it, you best be able to catch it. He is becoming famous for wanting a do-over or "bye" for any gaffes he might make..but heaven help anyone that makes an innocent comment about his policies or himself that he doesn't like, then he calls them out and has a conniption fit.
OB, BO (and his production crew) planted the bonus clause for the purpose of timed release. Release timed to cover over his ground swell of 'change'. We sheepses get to bleatin' over the little stuff, and never notice the steam-roller flattening the free-market system. Tomorrow will bring some new "gaffe", and the sheepses will bleat to the beat, so to speak. The administration need only fool enough of the people all the time; it's calculated!
I agree totally with that assessment. Those who sit on panels and say they think it was a good thing for him to do…I have this to say. It is what I think that's important….not you. It is my impression that's important, not your blatant support of the President. It's time we start thinking for ouselves and not let anyone try to dissuade what we feel.

Would you arrest and prosecute a person(s) who broke into your home and took your possessions? In my opinion, an illegal alien does just that, breaks into my home country and takes services (possessions) away from tax paying citizens. The law must be upheld, regardless of the heartbreaking stories and human rationalizations.
As a representative of the United States of America you are required to uphold the law. Illegal aliens must be deported, period. An illegal alien made the conscious choice to come to this country illegally, and he/she must accept all the consequences associated with that decision. The consequence should be punishment and deportation. Any citizen or individual who plays by the rules should be offended by this illegal behavior, any and all illegal behavior.
In my opinion, one of the major reasons California is in such financial trouble is due to the illegal alien population. I don’t blame people for fleeing into this country, but I do expect these individuals to do it legally and proudly. I expect individuals to walk through the ‘front door’ proudly, not break into the ‘back door’ during the dark of the night while ‘stealing’ what they need at the expense of law-abiding citizens.

I was very disappointed that the President would appear on an entertainment show like Leno. I believe that venue is not appropriate for the position of the president. I am very concerned.
Well, I still think the presidents shall get to relax from time to time, but you are right, I didn't find anything special having him on Leno Show. Once again, it bothers me that President Obama just got back from California then still went on the Airforce over this weekend again. It cost $$$ to use the Airforce helicopter and /or the Airforce airplane. I wish he focus on job and economy, Not everything at once. I believe The President of the United States needs to show the real leadership and wisdom, not as "celebrity" President as President Obama is as it seems to the world.

I have read many descriptors for our so called representatives in government. The one most commonly used is dishonest. Why can’t we use the word liar? There are many ways to be dishonest but the word liar implies the use of the tongue to deceive. They play the deception game as if it was expected by us. I expect honor, and integrity from those who would handle our affairs of state. Honor, obviously is not in the political lexicon. It’s time to hold our public servants to a much higher standard. I'm just so afraid that it will be too late. Four years is way too long for him to be doing what he's doing. He doesn't need to be flying around here and there like a kid on a Rock Star's agenda. I said it once and I'll repeat it again. From the time he was inaugurated, that stimulus package had to have already been put together. It was ready to be printed and he knew what was in it. How else could it have been put together that quickly. Think about this for a moment. It had to be put together, about approximately over 1100 pages, sent to the printing department to be printed out and bound by government standards to boot, how many copies had to be printed I have no idea. I know for a fact, having worked for a printing company for 10 years, how long a job like this takes. 24/7 not counting, breakdowns, etc., all that binding and who knows what else. At least one to two weeks alone. And then not having time to read the first draft is an Obamanation before realeasing the go ahead. I kept insisting that people should LISTEN to what he was saying when he was running..and I would tell them he's not saying anything. Yet, he would repeat stuff he heard from other running mates. I couldn't fathom a man, coming from a very dysfunctional family, not having the wherewithall to become a great president without first cleaning up his own life. Every one he went after with Acorn should have given people a head's up. They were targeting the black, uneducated, unemployed people and anyone they they could get their hands on just to get votes. plus a few votes from MIckey Mouse, well, you get the picture. A first black President with the stature of a well educated, fully experienced, hard working American who was known and made a name for himself would have been a good choice for me. I was for Hillary then, but I've since changed my mind., since I'm learning a lot more than I really want. There is still way too much that this man has shown on his campaign trail that makes me very,very uncomfortable. I would be appalled at the young adults who wanted "change" I questioned what kind of change were they looking for since they have not experience enough of life to even know what was lacking in their lifetime. It seemed to me they already had it good. Thanks for letting me vent. I'm also sick and tired of listening to people talk over each other…that tells me something too. The timing of the gaffe is less than ideal for Obama, who has been subject to media teasing in recent weeks for his extensive use of a teleprompter.
Before the Leno interview had even aired, the White House apologized for the comment. As Obama flew back to Washington on Air Force One, he called Tim Shriver, chairman of the Special Olympics, to say he was sorry.
"The president believes that the Special Olympics are a triumph of the human spirit," White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters Friday. "He understands that they deserve a lot better than … the thoughtless joke that he made last night."
Although all presidents have made comments that have gotten them in trouble-and Obama's predecessor had his share-today's 24/7 news environment raises the profile of such moments.
At his first news conference as president-elect, Obama made a comment about former First Lady Nancy Reagan and seances.
He had been explaining how he had reached out to former presidents for advice in the transition process, then joked that the list included only those still living. "I didn't want to get into a Nancy Reagan thing about, you know, doing any seances," he said.
Later that day, Obama called the former first lady to apologize for what aides called a "careless and off-handed remark."
During a relaxed moment at a closed-door fundraiser in San Francisco, Obama said some working-class voters are "bitter" about their economic plight, a statement that would plague him.
"They cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations," he said. Later he called those remarks "clumsy."

This fellow says anything he wants. He is the first President in my life who I respect no more than Sean Penn, or a stranger off the street. I am ashamed to admit it, but my brother voted for him, watches mainstream news, and believes all Fox news is is a bunch of "Commies". I think our corrupt congress is in their own reality and they don't care about the American people's reality other than to give it lip service. Our corrupt congress has one goal and that is to gain and maintain their own power. That begins with plotting to get reelected the first day they get elected. The longer they're in office the more entrenched and corrupt they become. TERM LIMITS for all congress, as our founding fathers originally intended, is the only way to limit their power and corruption. No more 20, 30 & 40 year dynasties for professional politicians. It would also help limit the power of lobbyists who are all ex congress and/or staffers. If the power of the 912 Project can do anything, it can begin with Americans taking back their country from corrupt professional politicians by organizing for TERM LIMITS!!!

I knew the wheels would fall off of this thing but I didnt think it would be this fast. Everyday I wake up and wonder if this is some sort of a joke. I tried to warn people but they didnt want to hear it. They thought he could do no wrong. Now those people I told that to are asking me how I knew.
I believe that happened during FDR's time. Actually, he wanted to tax 100%.
Of course he was stunned, he didn't have anymore time to read the bill he signed that allowed it, than did the Congress that forced to vote on it before it was even physically possible to read it.
I think even more shocking and stunning things will come from this bill having been passed since it was not even read in its final form.
I am Stunned by the level of Incompetence the Current President and his Administration are showing.
