Russia is considering deals with Cuba and Venezuela that would allow their strategic bombers to be housed in both countries.
Could this be the start of another Cold War or just Russia attempting to form a coalition?

Obama would never do that, he wouldn't want to offend Russia and Venezuela. These countries will continue to do what they want to do, nothing will be done but constant appeasing and a little heated rhetoric if that. The Obama Administration is not capable of protecting this country.
I agree, Obama is very comfortable with the marxist type. He is part of that generation that was raised by radicals, his mother was a radical so what we are seeing is not a love of this country and the American people, we are seeing his true character and that is Obama is a socialist, his appointees are all far left radicals, the newest appointee is Tony West-who is a far left wing attorney that defended John Walker Lindh-also known as the "American Taliban", who was captured on the battlefield in Afghanistan in 2001 fighting against our troops. Tony West now has a top position in Obama's Justice Dept. What is happening to this country is SHOCKING!
According to the article, Russia wants these bases as basically stop overs for long range patrols….right. Since when does any air force use heavy bombers for long range patrols… who exactly is it they think they're fooling? Surely even our government will see this for what it is. Who does this guy think he's kidding?
and just what exactly is it they will be patrolling? They have no stake in anything in our hemisphere. It is my opinion that we tell them not to worry, we'll keep an eye on things on our side of the planet and let you know if anything interesting happens here. We don't need your help.
I certainly hope he doesn't believe that just because our government is inept that the American people will put up with any shananigans out of Russia….because we won't.
Dictators and terrorist wanted Obama to win the election and now that he has, we see what is happening. Russia now has no fear, they know Obama is an appeaser and that he is weak. They see terrorist being given Constitutional Rights and being released from Gitmo, no longer can they be called enemy combatants and our military is prosecuted for not treating the terrorist with loving care—-loud music was played and they were waterboarded….SO WHAT! Is The Obama Administration completely Insane, do they not remember 9/11? Do they know the terrorist declared war on us and we are at war? Does he not remember sending 17,000 troops into Afghanistan? Obama is in over his head, his community organizer experience wasn't enough to be president and now we are seeing the results of a left wing college professor trying to run the United States of America….God Help Us.

Would rather have Russian bombers 6000 miles from our shores or 90 miles.
After the way we ended the war in japan, I doubt the USSR would have been too hard to defeat.
